Best asian restaurant in Medford, high quality food amazing people. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. I have gone here for years and it's always been a very warm welcome, they remember the customer's names and orders. They treat you like family!

Sakura is one of the best sushi restaurants here in the valley. The staff here is super friendly and ready to help if you need anything. I got the heart attack and that was full of flavor. It has a jalapeno base filled with tuna shrimp and cream cheese. Then I got a deep fried avocado filled with tuna and amazing toppings. Great place to have sushi hands down.

Every single time I eat here! The food is amazing. It definitely tastes masterfully made. Really beautiful sushi. Gyoza is so flavorful. Staff is always kind and courteous. Very attentive.

Food was delicious and fresh, the wait staff was friendly and prompt! The price was great for the quality of food they prepared!

They have a great veggie stir fry and a fantastic veggie roll. My friends enjoyed their sushi too!

I’ve had a lot of sushi in my days…. This was the best I’ve ever had! The three star roll was amazing ! Truly a find ! Also the service was wonderful, as busy as it was, we were treated like we were special. Highly recommend!

I’m just confused as to why they stopped selling their sake?? I picked up a to go order and asked the hostess if I could add a bottle of sake and she said “let me go ask my boss” and had me pay for the sushi first and came back and said her boss said no?? With no explanation?? I don’t mind if they changed the rules of to go alcohol ?? Maybe because it’s not COVID times anymore ?? I’m not sure! However I would have appreciated an explanation and not just a blatant “no”

By far my favorite place to get sushi. I’ve been coming here for years and the food never disappoints. The fish is always fresh and the food always tastes amazing. Kim is always friendly and it’s a very welcoming environment. A few items we enjoy include: rockstar roll, rainbow roll, vegetable tempura, poke bowls and spider roll.

Excellent food and service! The creativity is awesome and the flavors abound!! We found this place randomly through google. Date night was great!!

Had an amazing time tonight with these servers, who were really friendly in recommending and taking our order! Thats if they came however... It seems like theres 3 of them, 1 doing phone orders, 1 actually going around serving food and 1 just cleaning up, and many people seated wanted requests like the bill or ordering more and seems the same one had to keep going around many times with the same great attitude she has taking orders and resolving and problems! As for the food... Its pretty cartoony how sweet the teriyaki and the sauces on the sushi can be. One example is my yakisoba shrimp which had a teriyaki base to it and really sweet at the end! All with fresh veggies and surprised to see not alot of shrimp.. for $15... Its alright because the noodles and veggies really carry it! There are also other flavors like chicken or beef or pork! Their sushis are also sweet too, such with their eel rolls and kamikaze sushi! Overall, a really great experience with just reopening for indoor dining recently!

If I could rate it 0 I totally would. We walked in at 7:33pm and we were told they weren’t accepting any customers even though their sign on the doors had their closing hour at 8:30pm. Regardless of what the food tastes like, they need to set actual closing times rather than to what they please.

Wasn't prepared for the $$$ prices. Left a little hungry but still managed to pay $65 for two adults. Service was friendly but not as fast as we would have preferred. Probably won't go back. Would rather hit Tosu or Fred Meyer sushi. On the positive, the Spicy Pork was delicious.

Very good sushi, entres you would expect to find but that are executed very well. My son went with the crunchy roll(s) & I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy pork entre. While I would've enjoyed a little more heat, I didn't ask how spicy it came either. Great sauce, great veggies & tender pork.

Had a lovely meal this evening with friends. Had 5 rolls at the table, all were beautifully plated, fresh, and tasty. Sakura actually has some unique and distinctive rolls too, which is fun for the Rogue Valley. Staff was very professional and attentive. Definitely will be eating here more often and sad I didn't know about it sooner

Tempura very good. Sashimi just OK. Huge sushi selection. Not much 'ambience', kind of 'coffee shop' Very pleasant staff. WARNING: 18% gratuity for party of 6 or more. Don't get stuck twice!!

We love this restaurant! We weren't able to go as often because they cut their hours. But they are open for lunch now again! The sushi is the best in town, in my opinion. The Oregon roll is my favorite. I always bring family from out of town here and everyone has loved it! The ramen is also soooo good! If I could I would eat here everyday, yum!!

The 1st time we eat there the food was amazing and very thing came out together. This time the tempora was really good but the sushi rolls where different then the last time we ordered them and the Ramin we had the 1st time was amazing but this time it came out when we where done eating and ready to cash out (at 1st thought they forgot we ordered it) and then this time it had mushrooms in it which I'm allergic to so I couldn't even eat it and still had to Pay for it, even though the last time I ordered it there wasn't any mushrooms in it.

It was okay for the price we paid. 2 tamago Nigiri sushi for $6, cherry blossom roll for $18 (couldn't find in the menu photos, but saw the photo), and it was shocking for a couple of sashimi and prawn in it. I was expecting a better quality food, with fresher ingredients. The taste was okay, overall, cute little location with nice staff. I won't go back mainly because of the price with the quality of food.

Pleasantly surprised. Hole in the wall type sushi place with pretty reasonable prices and excellent sushi. Service was ok...but really happy with the food!

We had the BEST experience here! Excellent atmosphere with prompt service and, of course, delicious food. Their Heart Attack was spectacular—as was the salmon bento and multiple rolls we tried. We’ll be back!

Sushi is good. Katsu was dry and the sauce tasted like ketchup. Teriyaki chicken texture and flavor wasn’t anything special. Gyoza texture was great, flavor was ok.

My wife ordered nabe udon. I ordered a california roll and a spicy tuna roll. She received hers 30 minutes after we ordered, and I received mine 1-hour after we ordered. By the time I received my food, I wanted to leave (or a to-go box) because we were there for such a long time. We understand that this is not the kind of service that Michael or Kay (the owners) would want for their customers. They were not there. This is a rating of my experience there today. 2/5

The sushi was amazing, the soup needed a little more flavor. Overall nice restaurant ☺️☺️
