Grandma's cooking is what this place reminds me of. I feel very at home here and enjoy the home cooked type meals. The waitress was attentive and returned multiple times even though they were clearly understaffed/overworked - tis the times. Check out the pictures of what we ate! The food was good and we will come back again.

Best dinner out in a very long time! Husband and son took me for an early Mother's Day dinner, and we all left pleasantly stuffed with the most wonderful meal we've had out in I can't even remember how long. The atmosphere was perfect, our autistic son enjoyed being there more than I have ever seen him in a new place. Staff was extremely attentive, without being overbearing. Prices were wonderful especially for the amount of food we got. So happy we chose to go there. Will definitely be returning soon!

The Cracker Barrel is a fantastic restaurant to go and eat at. The one here in Medford has been open for a few years now, and somehow they still manage to give great service and very tasty food every single time. They've got really great comfort style country food, and have delicious biscuits, muffins with butter and honey and iced tea also. The gift shop is amazing with lots of diverse selections from clothing to games to knick knacks, and many more. Anyways, next time you're in South Medford, do yourself a favor and stop by for some deliciousness!

The service and food were phenomenal, the wait was not. It wasn't worthy of open complaint, it was however unusual for a nearly empty restaurant. The food was prepared expertly, the service was impeccable, our waitress was prompt, professional, and kind, the location was clean. We enjoyed the food the shop and the atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

I am a Stroke Survivor who has a Seizure and Stroke Alert Service Dog. I was standing waiting for a table and my dog vocalized after the staff began to address her and then they threatened to have me leave if she continues to make a sound. Her vocalizations are how she alerts me to a medical problem. That's why I'm calling a disability Rights group in the morning and filing a disability harassment claim against this location. We were even put in a different dining room from the rest of the public like we were a public embarrassment! Lawyer up, Cracker Barrel

Delicious rainbow trout! Grateful to have some healthy options at the Cracker Barrel! Fantastic hospitality! (Just an FYI they don’t have turnip greens and a few other sides you would normally find at a CR.)

Wonderful location! The staff were so patient and had amazing customer service even after a customer caused a scene and thought it was absurd they had to wait 5 minutes for a table due to not having enough staff. They make you wait only so that you can have the best experience possible with how many staff they have at that time. We stayed overnight in our camper & had great communication with the manager! The only complaint we had was that we were awoken early in the morning by homeless that were cursing loudly outside our window. However, that doesn't reflect on this business, but something to be aware of if staying overnight in a camper.

Our server Lisa Was great. She is very friendly. Food was great. It was not crowded when we were there and they try their best spread people around the room.

Management was so rude we decided not to eat there. After a long trip with multiple problems, my wife looked up somewhere we could pull our camper over and get some sleep. Cracker Barrel said this was allowed. Got there at 5 a.m. exhausted. Awesome. Get some sleep and food when we wake up. We thought. Pounding on the door to leave or cops will be called. If this is not ok, you should probably make that known. Only signs in the lot say lockup and TRAILERS/RVs THIS WAY. So rude.

This was an absolute delight on our travels down the i5! We had an amazing dinner, a lovely time shopping and connected so deeply with the staff here. They were able to offer specific recommendations for gifts and for dinner choices! Highly recommend the Rainbow Trout for dinner! The restaurant was very accessible, though the aisles in the store area were quite narrow. Staff were incredibly accommodating with helping to reach and show different products. They had just the right amount of staff for each position in the store. We loved all the vintage snacks, candies and sodas! Can't wait to go back!

Cracker Barrel is always a fun stop for us since we don't have them by us and so we only have it every few years usually. Good chicken, fried apples, and other sides. Homestyle cooking. Definitely pricey, but you get plenty. BUT we were disappointed in this location's menu options. My daughter had an amazing sweet potato at a Nashville location last month and she had been dreaming about it since. So we tried Cracker Barrel again but this location has no sweet potatoes. We were super disappointed. The whole menu seemed a lot smaller than the other location. So head there for a country meal but don't go for the sweet potatoes. Go when you have some time too because the service isn't fast. Forgot to take photos before we ate most of it. Chicken fried chicken and macncheese with mashed potatoes. Sunday chicken (seemed the same thing) with fried apples and salad. Loaded tots. Everything seemed on the salty side. But we'd go again.

This was a pleasant find. Usually these restaurants are very crowded. It has not caught on in Medford. Returning from Mexico, we had just come through the pass in a snow storm and ice. Sitting by the fireplace, then a large meal, then staying overnight in the back made our day. We got to chat with the workers 😃

Very good meatloaf, I recommend it I like mine with ketchup. I recommend the 1/2 & 1/2 iced tea

Meal was good; had a salad with grilled chicken. I always appreciate when the lettuce and veggies are fresh and not bagged salad. The reason I gave them 3 stars overall is that my bottled root beer in the restaurant was $4.19 and in the lobby store it was $1.79. I don’t enjoy being taken advantage of…we won’t be back.

Nice place lots of things to look at while your dining. Also a country store to make purchases. Service was very good, took good care of us, but wasn't busy since it was 2pm. I got the chicken salad and my friend got the chicken pot pie. Both were very good and filling for lighter diners. My only complaint is biscuits. You get one each. Guess it's their version of bread. But they charge more if you want more. Seems pretty to me. Makes the difference whether someone returns or not. As for costs, guess it's in line with other places. But no paying at the table, pay where they are trying to sell things. Not the easiest to get to either. Have to access at the red light off highway 99 about 1/4 mile.

So good, I keep coming back. Great cooking, excellent service, and lots of kind people here. You'll like it. The team here is really good. The lady who welcomed me was near the door and the other hostess had me seated in moments. The waiter took my order, everything was prepared perfectly, and it was served promptly. The store is very clean. The bathroom was tidy and in good order. The parking lot was nice and spacious but empty. There were many empty tables inside. Overall my experience was great. Two of my friends from out of state were told that they were not welcome at the parking lot overnight.

There were adorable items in the shop! And such nice displays! We decided to eat here too and it was quite nice, there was definitely something for everyone. The hush puppies that came with the fried shrimp were amazing! 😋

First time visiting the Medford Oregon Cracker Barrel with plenty of parking, definitely handicap friendly. Just off interstate 5 at exit 27. The menu is very difficult to read due to it being a dark color with dark writing 👎 My waitress and hostess were very nice, great customer service🎉 The food was hot fresh and delicious, I had the chicken fried steak with steak fries, sweet baby carrots and apples, They also have a kids menu. Sadly my waitress admitted that a lot of people mentioned it's nothing like East Coast Cracker Barrel restaurants, the menus are different all together and I agree haven been to a few in Virginia and North Carolina. As with all Cracker barrels I love their little shop with all the souvenirs, knick knacks, candies, shirts etc.

Meals were good, we didn't really like the hash brown. They were a cheese, onion casserole type They should offer you a regular country style more of a choice in case you can't eat cheese or onion products. Maybe they will offer this in the future i hope so.

Just drove 5 hours, skipping breakfast and stopping for chicken and dumplings with some peach tea for lunch. Could barely finish it all so I got pie to go. Let me rephrase that, got a pie to go. A whole pecan pie. Chicken and dumplings was so good I got another order to go along with my pie. Service was great, food was near perfect (a few dumplings that were folded or doubled were undercooked) but the single layers, gravy and chicken were spot on. In fact, I ate it with a spoon to get the perfect mix of the three. The value was pretty darn good as well. Two full meals including sides, four biscuits, an endless peach tea, and a full pecan pie for $45. Comfort food, local hospitality and good value...no wonder there are lines on Sunday mornings when I drive by...

Was really displeased with everything, today. The restaurant was mostly empty. There were only two other people eating this Sunday around 3:30 p.m. We ordered simple food and it came served on cold plates. My wife's scrambled eggs were ice cold and she literally couldn't eat them. She ordered sausage on the side and when they brought them they were too hard to cut with a fork. I never, as a rule, complain about anything in public when I eat out. I just eat it, and remain quiet -- that's me. But this time I had to ask for something else instead. Two out of the four people I spoke to in the restaurant seemed bothered to see us. They did not at all seem welcoming but rather bothered that they had to help us. I need to say, this is happening everywhere of course. Today the world is upside down -- we know this! But a Sunday out dinner with my wife who is disabled and only gets out once per month could have been a nice time and relished; instead we regretted our decision 100%. I will not be going back to Cracker Barrel (sigh); hopefully in time the owners will use the constructive criticism of their customers, and correct a problem that will only grow unless addressed. The world may be upside down, but we do not have to be victims to it, and become like it. We all need to keep fighting and showing proper cordiality to everyone. I feel work ethics and love within society is in general waning because people don't have faith anymore! God is still as practical today as ever! Don't lose hope! God Bless the USA. Let's still work to value everybody around us -- we are all worth it! Be willing to smile at people; it makes a difference. Everything counts, if anything counts at all.

Wow haven’t even sat down and already this ladies wigging out. Lotta empty tables and scatterbrained out of her brain. Messy hair who knows but else might be wrong with her hygiene. She can’t find anything and then she hast to school people that she’s busy and things are out of control. My waitress was great except for she look like one of those people in the movies where they’re like held hostage and they’re blinking their eyes like help get me out of here. When I went to go pay for my meal that was a treat because it seemed like all these women have no power except for to tell you how wrong you are and that you need to do this you gotta do that blah blah blah blah blah they wanna tell you something I just have to tell you. Food was OK

Hey you know what it's cracker barrel!! Staff was super friendly. The food tastes like any cracker barrel anywhere I've ever had the pleasure of eating it. One thing I noted about this location at 8:00 in the morning we were the only people in the restaurant. It currently opens at 8:00 so I think the morning business crowd has to go somewhere else, 8:00 is even a little late for me to have breakfast. Anyway high marks.. good place right off the freeway to eat glad to see cracker barrel is moving out west

Wonderful experience! Have been back two more times, since then, because the food was so good! I am from Texas and know what Down Home cooking should taste like. These folks have it nailed. And do it with Hospitality that reminds me of back home 🙂

Said they were very busy had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for a table. Over half the dining room was empty. It would be better to say short staffed makes you feel like they don't think you're that stupid the ploy is to get you to shop. They had a lot of staff. My 90 year old father asked if he and my mother with a fractured back could sit at one of the tables and wait the host said it was against corporate policy. I guess they could have gone outside and sat in a rocker it was a balmy 40°. We like Cracker Barrel but this one disappointed..poor management. When you're traveling you just want to eat and get back on the road.
