It is a shame that with the great prestige that this line of restaurant has. This one in particular has left on the floor its quality in taste in food from meats to the palate of sweets. I recommend that they improve to leave alive an experience to the consumer that so much appreciates the warmth of the Golden Corral Restaurant family. There are few left in the city so please improve the food that is so appreciated, many seniors come to eat here. They deserve something of better quality.

Easiest Thanksgiving ever for all of the usual and unusual holiday meal dishes. Long line to get in but moved pretty well; all food fresh and hoy.

Well well we thought we best try it out since we've had a gift card since the shut down in 2019. We decided to go around 3:30pm for lunch and a little dinner. There were no lines and it was relatively quiet. The restaurant itself has not changed. There have been absolutely no updates. The carpet and over all appearance is dirty and old. You'd think they could have done some cleaning and updates but they didn't. The dessert bar looked a complete mess and the ice cream was gross. Not all the food was that way though. I had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and the Mac n cheese, which was really good. I was really turned off that they had no croutons for the salad bar, yet I could manage without. The customer service was impeccable though and our waiter was pleasant, quick to get drinks and remove the dirty plates. If I didn't have a gift card I personally would have walked out, especially if you had seen the soupy banana pudding. I'd like to try their breakfast that is only served on the weekends though just to see if it's what I remember from two years ago.

My food was great, server was very nice. Tried to keep the place clean... tasty dishes, and i ate way too much. :) Today as it is Veterans Day they provided a free meal and continue to support the military community's. Top notch in my book... Thank you so much. 11-11-2021

I have to drive to the Phoenix area now -days, if I wanna dine at a Golden Corral. We've experimented with going to various locations in Phoenix. Hands down, without a question; the Goodyear location is the best and here's why: They have more options for food items. The food items they have are noticeably fresher and the food service is far superior. For example, the moment that we set down, the server lady was right there to take our drink order and she kept our drinks filled and dirty plates off our table. The atmosphere was more laid back too. It was not over-crowded and there wasn't anyone standing in the way of the buffet tables, blocking access to the food. 😃 It was an all around great dining experience and we tipped our waitress very well, because she was so great at multitasking. We're going back to this location in Goodyear again next time for sure !

I came in during the breakfast weekend right before the switch over to lunch. The atmosphere was clean overall but I had to clean my own table, unfortunately. I patiently waited for tables or someone to wipe a table. I got my own paper towel some water and wipes my table down. The Food is alway good some of my favorite are Pot Roast, BBQ Chicken and the Meat Loaf. I do enjoy the unlimited salad too.

It was my birthday and I took my kids and grandkids to dinner. More than enough food choices for all 20 of us. One of my granddaughters had 4 ice cream cones.

Golden Corral buffet is very good place to eat all kinds of different kinds of cultures food-wise. The staff was warm and fuzzy and hopeful. The location was very clean and orderly. The chefs they're working the buffet very knowledgeable and gave good portions. If you can decide what kind of food you want to eat this is a place to go. They have all kinds of different kinds of cultural Foods here. The location is on Dysart Road

I was at this location on 10/31/2022 between the hours of 16:00 and 18:15, and a lot of the food was cold and had been sitting awhile. Cold fries, pizza, pot roast, chicken etc. Not very many customers eating there today and the food looked unappealing. I reviewed this location four years ago and gave it five stars, but I was sorely disappointed today on how much worse this place has become. I’ve eaten here occasionally during the last four years, but in the last six months the quality of the food and the operation of the restaurant has gone downhill. I don’t think I will be coming back here anytime soon.

Our server Denise was so friendly and welcoming! The food was pretty good but the people dining there were rude and messy and I was a bit concerned about cross-contamination in some of the food, so opted not to eat some of the items I normally may have tried. The fried okra was bomb. Greens were good with salt and pepper. Meatloaf was really good and so was the fried chicken. Pozole was lacking flavor and so was the taco meat, but both had extra grease. Overall, it was great food for the price. Kids were full and happy and the deserts were really yummy!

I stopped in for Thanksgiving buffet....was a short wait, but everything was absolutely amazing. Management seemed to have everything organized for the large crowd.

It was as expected. Never lives up to what you hope it will. They are exactly who they are but for some reason we get excited of the thought of an all you can eat buffet and it's very basic. Prices rise every visit though. I think we are finally done falling for the idea of an all you can eat. Food is always as bland as that certain food can be. Almost impressive how consistently bland every food you would normally love. Dessert is always perfect!!! Thanks for the memories.

Our group of eight meet for lunch and all seem to have a pleasant time. The buffet is more home style and we enjoyed that. The service was friendly and cheerful. We also enjoyed the various selections. I would recommend if you want a good home cook meal. Enjoy.I

The buffet is incredibly diverse. You can choose from very many different dishes. There is simply something for everyone. There are so many healthy meals like fish, salad and fruit. And there are so many tasty meals, like pizza, pasta, fries, chicken tenders, hamburgers, cakes and ice cream. Children up to the age of 4 eat for free.

Tried to make a reservation for their private room for a graduation, like it’s advertised on their website that we can reserve for all the occasions listed. So I called and the manager Dianne said they are not accepting any reservations for graduation week cause she said they’ll be busy that week. The private room is not booked or already been reserved by others. She simply said she is not accepting reservations for the private rooms and she’s not closing the private rooms for anyone. I guess, then don’t advertise the private room. I think you should revise the listed occasions on line in that way they don’t waste our time calling and then just being told that she is not going to close the room for anyone and not allowing anyone to use the private room on a special occasion. I suggest don’t call for their private room to reserve. You’re just wasting your time.

I love Golden Corral, and have for years. The salad bar at this location was amazing, and the rolls are always delicious. This was my first trip to the Surprise area, and I will be back again. There does need to be a bit of education from staff, for those going down the vegetarian/vegan path. We were told the sautéed mushrooms did not have meat in them, but they were made with a beef base upon further questioning, which is almost the same as meat in it. We, of course, did not get it. Labeling for vegan/vegetarian foods would be ideal, and education, as vegan and vegetarian, does not seem prominent there.

This location is usually crowded because Golden Corral shut down locations from the pandemic. We arrived at 6:30 pm and much of the food was running out of you had to wait for fresh food to be brought out. The food was good and selection was good. Kids allowed to run around and help themselves so it was very chaotic and messy.

It seems that the quality of some of the food has gone done and the prices have gone way up. My son and I went to dinner tonight. 44 dollars. And their military discount was 1 dollar off my buffet. Wow! I have to be thankful, I guess. It's better than zero dollars off. On the bright side, our sever/host Fred was amazing. He was super nice and pleasant from beginning to end and he kept coming to remove plates and refill drinks and we never had to ask him for anything. That made the trip worth it. Thank you Fred.

Wow! It was our first time here and I'm floored at how good everything was. Unlike the others I had great luck with the fried foods. The breading and crunch on the chicken and shrimp were incredible. The pot roast, meat loaf, steak... Man, just everything, was so good.

By definition, this is a buffet. So let's not use unreasonable standards like white tablecloths & a hip wine list as criteria. Conversational snippets you may overhear often include, "I'm going back for another plate"t. It is what it is. The plentiful amounts of food were fresh & hot. When an item was running low the staff had refills ready to go. Good salad bar & dessert area. Very friendly staff. If you are going here to fill your stomach (several times) you will enjoy Golden Corral.

Service was Very Good, Some of the food was room temp, been there on another occasion and it was Great, maybe 2pm is not a good time to go

It's hard for me to decide what I like more because of the variety of food to choose from. The baked beans were creamy. I had 3 helpings of sweet potatoes. The meatloaf wasn't too fresh but still it was good enough. I wish I wouldn't have ate too much.

Good place to go, I mean it's a golden corral I feel like every place is about the same. The yeast rolls were done a little wrong for some reason but it still tasted good, honestly the best thing I had were the steaks. Perfectly cooked and delicious. I'd go again in a pinch and it's ridiculously cheap for how much food you can get. I'd recommend it if you can't think of anywhere else.

Wow, this was a blast from the past. Me and my fiance went here on Mother's day after watching Dr.Strange and the Multiverse of Madness. We wanted to see if this place was as good as when we were kids. It was pretty good. Their steak and meats are pretty good. You pretty much get your money's worth with that alone. 😉

We come to this location often, the past three visits were bad, the cook the others staff that's in charge of putting food out, doesn't pay any attention they are too busy on their cell phones. Food is cold, not cook well, the biscuits were falling apart yesterday. No hash brown well done . This was for breakfast.

This place will always be a great option for a buffet. In terms of food quality, was pretty good all things considered. My only criticism was that the waitress never really came around and it made it hard to get a refill. I ended up flagging a staff member down, but by then I had already finished eating. They could have been understaffed as well, however I spotted a few of the waitresses just chatting for longer lengths of time. I feel a little bit more effort could have been made, hence not a full 5 stars. I'm trying to be forgiving with so many places not being fully staffed these days.

Araceli was are great attentive server I was here with family discussing our Mother’s medical issues it was an important dinner and very well tasting food wide variety of dishes, again great service, we’ll all be back in future
