Great park for baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer and tennis. There a ton of picnic tables and trash cans everywhere. They have shaded pavilions and some are shaded by huge eucalyptus & oak trees. There are big open fields for your dog to run or just to fly a drone. The park has irrigation so there are times of the month when these areas are flooded and unusable. This is a very nice park but beware the neighborhood surrounding it has a higher crime rate so keep your vehicles doors locked. The park opens at 5:30am to 11:30pm So get out your kite and go have fun! ?

Very nice park! Love how it’s set up. Only three things I’d change, more water fountains, more shade on walking paths, and large unused spaces that could offer more needed park things. Dog park here and it’s good more shade there too would be great. Definitely a day park not a huge amount of light at night but the community areas have ample light. Great place to hang and definitely used by the community kids, games and groups make it an good park!

Great place to take the kids. Plenty of space for them to run around. There are also basketball courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and a dog park. There are even snack vendors in golf carts.

Great park! Dog parks are nice! Many different types of sports areas at this park. Soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields and a great playground and lots of open area to enjoy a beautiful day! Only think this park is lacking is raquetball/handball courts.

This park is pretty limited and not very clean. When I went the grass was all flooded, and not due to rain. There are better parks in Phoenix.

Good park in the neighborhood with beautiful soil trails. A place where kids and dogs enjoy alike. However, there are sightings of occasional weedsters and random campers with dying cars and shopping carts. Stay alert while enjoying golden sun ☀️

Biggest complaint is the bathrooms have no doors, aside from the bar door that you see in the picture which you can see through. There was also no signage regarding which bathroom was for what gender, you just had to walk in to find out. The other side of the bathrooms has 2 stalls as well, one containing a urinal, but this also has no doors. The park had lots of trash in the woodchips and I had to toss a few cans of alcohol. One of the slides on the small park is broken but blocked off at the top. There was some interactive app to download (which I did not, can't speak regarding the app) with monster faces scattered throughout the big playground. Also 4 electric car charging stations. There was water fountain that works, which we did not use, but it was a bit gross in my opinion.

Nice park I attended a motorcycle rally there this Easter weekend but we couldn’t actually get inside the park because the mayor of Phoenix has all of the parks closed so we just had a big old party and get together and cook out and everything else just on the street outside the park on the road your road and that’s the way it goes I guess right now in this strange shut down world that should definitely be open now

Nice tennis courts and a big open field, maybe good for soccer or football. Also a playground with swings and slides for kids. Nice for just walking around, if it's clear skies. I'm glad this city has such beautiful parks. There was some areas that could use some work, but it does appear they are doing some work, so maybe it's part-way finished.

  • 2/5 Yetunde O. 1 year ago on Google
It's a nice park which is close to my hotel. It has a basketball area, a playground for kids, and a few benches to sit on. I wish there was a swing.

  • 4/5 Gabriel B. 1 year ago on Google
Planning a Unity in the Community event on January 29th at Esteban Park. The park is slated for some upgrades, so it will soon become a preferred destination in the area it serves. It currently has a playground, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, and lots of open space.

  • 5/5 Michelle F. 1 year ago on Google
I love to see how many families go to this park. I love that there is a dog park here to because I have a dog of my own and there is so much room for her to run around at this park...I love it and so does she

  • 5/5 Teresa R. 1 year ago on Google
Dog park is big but people don't pick up their poop here only downside. You'll need your own poop bags but alot of people leave bags tied to fence (obviously not many people use them haha!) This park does not have street lights so be careful going at night. (4/5 stars) Kids park is good. Lots of slides and 2 body weight exercise machines for legs and arms... so you can get a workout in while kids play (5/5 stars)

  • 5/5 Deborah M o. 1 year ago on Google
First time there. It was really nice, no arguing, fighting, shooting...NOTHING but fun, love, people so friendly networking and things for the kids. 3x3 basketball games. Just a beautiful time.

  • 5/5 marsha h. 1 year ago on Google
I go to Esteban Park and walk a mile on my lunch. The park is safe. To walk around that entire park takes 20 to 22 minutes. It's a little over one mile; 95 to 98 calories burned. Then I enjoy the rest of my lunch. Just saying...

  • 4/5 Robin S. 10 months ago on Google
Nice quiet place. Great for setting watching the dogs play at the dog park, a nice family picnic or just a good walk with the pretty grass as you walk. Very well kept.

  • 1/5 Smallz 10 months ago on Google
Esteban park is a very big / spacious park , there playground *( The kids area ) is a pretty good size &has slot for the kids to do . - they also have a basketball court - They have Spot ( infront of the playground ) to park & Charge your Car if needed. **- They stay BUSY ! & The park is messy :/ It would be great if it was more cleaner for the kids & ect . ( but they also have little events like soccer games & GREAT FOR PARTYS & ECT. )

I am a 43 year old man who has recently committed to his health. The most enjoyable part of this commitment is my cardio which I get from playing basketball on my lunch break at Esteban park! Unfortunately the court is in horrible shape and there are many instances where one of us slips and falls due to the condition of this court! Hopefully some one will agree and repost this in an effort to improve our experience here! @ you city ofPHOENIX

Park is nice, I like to fly my drone here. Did need to use the bathroom but someone was sleeping in the door way went to the other bathroom and someone was using it as a home.

  • 4/5 Eric Bloxsom (. 5 months ago on Google
Wide open, flat ground community park. Lots of activity at this location after sunset and families are looking to unwind with running space. Tons of space for baseball, volleyball, and track. Pretty common to see large sports groups gathering for practice. Small gated dog park as well. The night time lighting is pretty bad with heavy dark sketchy patches of shadows. Makes for night time activities to feel unsafe. Picnic table areas with covered and uncovered, but also spread out. Not helpful for large crowds.

  • 5/5 S R. 4 months ago on Google
I didn't get a picture it was late nice park grass not wet. Be mindful of people walking up trying to go through bags if your not keeping a eye on stuff
