Too many loose dogs, you would have thought it was a dog park. I asked one man if he needed a poop bag to pick up after his dog and he refused. This used to be a place i would feel safe walking my dogs.

There are mixture of all types of People,Friendly Atmosphere.Great Place for your pet.Fun Play area for kids.Could use a few more tables around park.More Exercise Equipment for Adults ...around about 5 more Exercise Blocks, currently only 3 blocks= equipment to work out in park Available.Exercise blocks need to be turf in or concreted in to prevent mud under exercise block when rain.Park could use a mini canteen store. This park has a lot of land.Hopefully this Park can be more fun for kids & Give Parents & Citzens of the Community more to do as well.Awesome Park Located off 29 Street in (East) Phoenix,Arizona.

The trees are so unique. Just be aware you’re not walking into the line of frisbees :)

I like it here. Nothing too crazy, but it’s fun to walk some loops around here. Discgolf options too if you’re into that. I do love the trees and the views of the mountains! Worth a stop if you’re in the area. Feels pretty safe overall.

Love it! This is a fun, small and technical disc golf course! It is also a nice place to go to walk your dog, or take the kids to the playground, or play some beach volleyball, or fly a drone, or drive an R/C car, or if you're lucky....watch a bum sleeping on a picnic table ;) But, in all honesty, I have always felt safe in this park which is not always the case in a park this close to downtown Phoenix.

Great shaded areas and grass for dog walking. Most off leash dogs stay to the field close to the parking lot. This helps me avoid them with my reactive girl, Ruby. She loves sniffing around the trees.

This park has so much potential. We just need a politician who will see it through. With a little more see-through it will be great. Lot of frisbee golfers and dog walkers having a great time. They also have large recycling bins. Super nice neighborhood.

Lots of trash on the playground. The Slides had ice cream melted on it. A Lot of the trash cans were full and there is no trashcan directly by the playground.

Nice park with a disc golf course. No bike parking near disc golf is a huge fail. Not enough signage regarding disc golf.

  • 4/5 Vanessa C. 3 years ago on Google
Nice big park with lots of room to roam. There is a playground, disc golf course, walking path, park gym and fields for dogs to run. I take my dog here occasionally and we always make friends. Sometimes there are homeless in the area and I've never felt unsafe.

  • 5/5 Brian B. 3 years ago on Google
A pleasant picnic breakfast. We watched disc golf as we ate and saw a pretty cool drone flying around.

  • 4/5 Nicholas R. 3 years ago on Google
Great family friendly park, go there to disc golf all the time and people are very courteous of the games going on around them. Only downsides are the mud and for disc golfing you're throwing very close to a couple of roads.

  • 3/5 Kristi L. 4 years ago on Google
Nice park but could be cleaner. My dog stepped on some glass and got a big gash in her paw. It was hidden so keep an eye out for that. There’s always a lot of off leash dogs as well so just be careful!

My favorite park around the Arcadia area! I take my dog at least once a day if not twice a day to run around & burn some energy. It's also his favorite park. ?

  • 5/5 Wade E. 3 years ago on Google
Great park, plus a 9 hole frisbee golf course.

  • 5/5 Brendan B. 4 years ago on Google
Massive park! We played ultimate Frisbee and had more than enough room. The olive trees planted in rows give unique feel. Also there are public facilities which are handy if you're throwing a party.

I’ve had great days here and bad days here, just depends on the people. Remember to treat others like you want to be treated

This review is based on my experience from April 2018. The park is called Olivos for the numerous olive trees planted there. The first thing I noticed was the area around the playground was filthy. It's a shame because I have been to many other city parks with better up keep. This made it difficult to keep an eye on my child as he played since my wife and I didn't have a shady place to sit on a very warm day. The adjacent ramadas were also filthy. Again, I couldn't keep an eye on my child from a distance. I'm sure this was probably an isolated incident and I'll give the city the benefit of a doubt. We I visit again, I'll reevaluate my opinion and review.

A great chill park. Not a ton of extracurriculars like some parks, but they have a frisbee golf course that a surprising amount of people utilize daily. The olive trees provide great shade for picnics and relaxing. Seems like a really safe neighborhood area too.

Sweet disc golf course tucked into this dog park. Watch where you step on this wide variety of short holes with concrete tee pads and nice baskets

  • 5/5 Ben D. 4 years ago on Google
Love frisbee golfing here. You might get your disc caught in a tree, or maybe you'll see people working out on the playground. You won't loose your disc, but you could see a drug deal. I mean, your on 24th and Indian school homie, don't make eye contact and you'll be fine. Hole 7 is my favorite hole. There's bathrooms that are always clean and smell decent. Fyi don't eat the olives. They're gross

  • 4/5 Susan M. 3 years ago on Google
This was a nice place to have a picnic during the Pandemic. We brought our own lysol and sprayed down a picnic table. The cons are: not a lot of shade and it's still very warm. Trees were all olive trees which meant you step on olives all the time. My pup tried to eat them. I know ...i didn't connect the name of the park with literal olives! Pro: Very few people around and the ones who were socially distanced well. I'd go back.

Park with a short easy disc golf course 9 hole throughout it. Some fun little shot shapes to the disc golf holes. Actually makes a very fun course, just watch for pedestrians because there were people and dogs all through out the park. Nothing special, definitely worth check the course out if you have under an hour.

It was an Olive Grove many years ago. The trees now serve as a hazard for the nine hole Disc golf course. There were plenty of golfers and they seem to be serious high level players. The park is medium to large in size. The trees are old and if things are allowed to continue there is new growth around ground level. The sand volleyball courts are good. Same with basketball and fitness course. Playground is excellent in setting and equipment. Just walking around is enjoyable. Good to have a park with restrooms.

  • 4/5 Andrew M. 1 year ago on Google
Great park for an entry level disk golf course. Well maintained. Lots of areas to dispose of trash and whatnot. Varying degrees of difficulty on the course kept it interesting to play. Could use a centralized area/canopy to cool off, however that may be intentional to discourage loitering.

  • 4/5 Fu I. 1 year ago on Google
I've been here a few times and enjoy it each time. The playground is great and I love the large fields. The restrooms could be better, but they could also be worse.

  • 5/5 David O. 1 year ago on Google
Great selection of MTG, Pokémon and they have pinball machines. So many pinball machines.

  • 3/5 Damon R. 1 year ago on Google
Lots of space to walk or run in the early morning. After say 10 am it is harder to get in a consistent run or walk. This is due to the fact there is no actual running/walking trail you will constantly be interrupted by people with dogs or fribee throwers.

  • 4/5 Spencer H. 1 year ago on Google
I went here for the disc golf and it's a fun little course in an olive grove! Only nine holes, but you can play it twice for a full eighteen. The olive trees make for most of the holes being straight tunnel shots, but there is one that is basically like a peninsula. There are signs letting people know that there are disc golfers around and for the busy time that I went people pretty much stayed off the course. They only downside is that the tees are kind of short and the hole signage isn't that great. Could use a little upgrade for sure. All in all though this is a fun one!

  • 5/5 Hope K. 1 year ago on Google
Adore this park! It's freaking huge and there is so much to do. They've even got a disc golf field! The restrooms have been pretty kept up every time we have been. The best part is there are a millions trees to keep you shaded from the AZ sun.

  • 3/5 Robyn H. 1 year ago on Google
Be mindful of the disc golf course and stay out of the way. Would benefit from a dog enclosure as there are always off leash dogs. Most are well behaved. Grass conditions vary greatly by season. Large playground and sand volleyball courts.

  • 5/5 Samantha I. 1 year ago on Google
Decent park with lots of trees and grass. Has a major concealed jungle gym for youngsters and a 9 opening circle green. Likewise an incredible spot to bring canines. There are dependably different canines there to play with. The openings are short standard 3's, however the trees give a few decent difficulties.

  • 5/5 Jackie Acker Garland (Chicago Photo M. 1 year ago on Google
Great park! Such beautiful views of the mountain and nature. Lots of play equipment which was perfect for my 2 and 3 1/2 year old. Sand on the ground and most of the playground is covered. There is also a gazebo close by for picnics! Lots of people were playing frisbee golf too.

  • 4/5 Dan T. 1 year ago on Google
Mainly a frisbee golf course, there are areas of the park for other sports. Weekends it can get busy, seen kids soccer, flag football, frisbee golf, and keg ball all going on at the same time. Lots of fun though, wear sunscreen. Peace.

  • 3/5 Amanda G. 1 year ago on Google
Nice park with big open grass area to let the kids run off some energy. Playground is a bit limited but mostly clean. Watch out for the flying discs as it is a frisbee golf course. There is a community center also with a great free wifi connection. Tons of parking. Restrooms with doors on the stalls!! Many food options nearby however the park is limited on tables and benches if you are thinking about a picnic. Sand Volleyball, basketball courts. The area surrounding the park is a bit rough but much better than it was in the past. Good park! Get out and have some fun!!

  • 4/5 Jose S. 11 months ago on Google
Park has to be share with dogs and kids. Did not have any issues. Trash cans were available, 3 or 4 benches, kids play ground, 2 volleyball courts.

  • 5/5 joy b. 10 months ago on Google
I have been to this park a few times. I usually go to walk around to get fresh air and exercise. I went with family recently for a cookout and to kick the soccer ball around. It's a spacious park with alot to offer. I've noticed people enjoying the large volleyball ball courts and the disc golf.

  • 4/5 Taylor L. 10 months ago on Google
Clean park, cool trees but too regularly placed for my liking. Decent 9 holes of disc golf, start is close to the parking lot off 28th.

  • 5/5 Ryan C. 8 months ago on Google
Great park with Disc golf and nice jungle Jim for the kiddos and a decent volleyball court with picnic area and restrooms. My fiance and I walk my dog there everyday everyone is friendly. I have lived over here for 5 years and haven't had 1 negative interaction which is rare considering the homeless and fentanyl epidemic, although by some miracle this park seems unaffected by it.

  • 5/5 Leonel L. 8 months ago on Google
I went here for disc golf, so I did not pay attention to much else. Good course, lots of trees that make it challenging but that is good and makes you practice your angles.

  • 5/5 Big B. 6 months ago on Google
The playground is good. I take my kids there. Restrooms are open n available but sometimes homeless posted up. Smh. It's a dog friendly park, picnic areas are good. I grilled there before. Volleyball is good. Love to play. And also has little work out stations along the sidewalk that circles the playground area.

  • 2/5 Chad A. 6 months ago on Google
It's ok. A little clicky and if your not a regular you will be stared down and watched like a hawk. Only 4-5 drug pushers and dealers run this park so it's not as bad as some of the others. Just stay out of the large parking lot and they will allow you to do your thing. Their is no security or anybody else in any official manner. Lots of dogs off leashes but be careful doing that because it's against the law unless your dressed properly or don't look homeless then your free to do as you please. If you have your dog off your leash and they suspect you might not be a homeowner you going to get a hefty fine.

  • 3/5 K H. 5 months ago on Google
Really a shame. This is a very pretty park but it’s completely overrun on the weekends by disc golfers. Possibly the City if Phoenix should close it to families and people who would like to walk their dogs safely. There’s really no place safe from the disc golfers. I used to live in Fountain Hills and there is a beautiful park there that has a disc course, but the it is laid out, everyone can enjoy the park with fear if getting hit by a disc.

  • 5/5 Samara S. 5 months ago on Google
Nice little park. The disc golf was a bit challenging (but I'm just a beginner). Overall though, it was fun. The trees were really nice for shade when waiting for teammates.

  • 2/5 C A. 5 months ago on Google
The city hired security for some parks. This security team as seen in the pictures was trying to intimidate me to leave the area. They were violating my civil rights. They had no business forcing me by intimidation to leave. I was parked on a city street. Parked where a few people park to sleep in their cars because They have fallen on bad times. They simply sleep in their cars and then they go to work the next morning they don't cause any noise they don't cause any damage or any trouble. Anyone left at a certain time the security team comes and pushes them away by intimidating them as you can see they are parked the wrong way on the street. They have no right to break the law. I have no right to intimidate these people to leave. Don't drive by very slow and used intimidation to force people away if they don't like them. I stayed a couple nights and they did it to me and I'm driving a Mercedes SUV did nothing wrong but stand up for some unfortunate people that are waiting for housing and have no place else to stay except their cars. Why are we wasting tax payer money on a couple of clowns when we have tons of park rangers sitting around in their trucks parked under a tree in the shade somewhere?
