We love Giant Coffee!!! It has been consistently great coffee (love the iced Americano) and very tasty pastries. They also have a lot of organic options which is always very appreciated. The space is light and airy with lots of plants. Very relaxing atmosphere 🙂

A personal fave when I’m in the area! Their coffee never disappoints, the atmosphere and aesthetic is so lovely, and the pastries are yummy. Love coming to get work done and just even getting a cup of coffee to enjoy next to the window. Parking is in the back so make sure not to park somewhere that could get you towed.

Would highly recommend to anyone in the area. The coffee was amazing and the barista was so sweet! Great place to study cause the music isn’t so loud. Needless to say this place has great vibes and coffee was perfect. We tried the rose latte and the honey vanilla latte. 10/10

An amazing coffee shop both in quality of products (my americano was silky & flavorful & the beast burrito was flavorful) but in design and customer service. Was staying the area for work and found this gem. Ideal for a cup of coffee and go or to do some work and hang out. A must visit spot IMO!

Man this place is stunning, from the fresh greenery, to the smells of the roasted coffee. Everything blends together to form a beautiful, dare I say perfect coffee experience, actually it’s far more like a coffee journey. The best part about this coffee journey. Is the man behind the counter, he’s a recent hire I believe because I haven’t seen him before, his name is Luke if my memory serves me correctly. He really cares about his work, putting so much love into each espresso shot that is drawn. I had the Honey Vanilla Latte, the flavors blended together so perfectly, a majestic almost euphoric feeling from drinking this perfectly blended drink. Giant is always a must!! The man behind the counter also made a bear in my latte truly a Picasso of his craft, man it was so beautiful.

This place is great! Coffee is solid, it's a nice place to work, and when the weather is nice, they open up the front of the shop and it's open air! Perfect!

Haven’t been here for a while, it was wonderful to come back. Coffee is delicious. Plenty of space around to seat and enjoy the plant life.

I LOVE this place. Tell me why it smells SO good when I walk in everytime?! It smells so clean and fancy and around Christmas time, it smelled like fresh citrus and cinnamon. I visit regularly as I'm in the area often, and it's quickly become one of my fave coffee shops in Phoenix. The bakery options are impressive and the coffee is outstanding. Everything tastes very quality and the prices are reasonable. My only complaints are that the seating is limited. It's a small space and when it's crowded, it's CROWDED. Which becomes more of an issue because most people aren't wearing masks due to eating and drinking. It's a shame there's not much more room to spread out, but it's still very lovely with a great ambiance. I'll definitely be returning! A+ coffee shop!

I am not a big fan of Starbucks so going to coffee shops such as giant coffee is more appealing. I ordered the Americano and it was flavorful. It didn't have that funky taste like the other place. Place clean and quiet. I would go there again.

Once you manage to park and come inside, you'll notice it's the type of place that wants to remain hidden. The interior design is simple yet organised. Having frequented multiple coffee shops around the city, I had high expectations of the beverages. It wasn't the case. Pictured here is honey vanilla latte. It tasted like the vanilla-flavoured milk one can purchase in grocery stores. No espresso or honey flavour.

I love the little work stations set up along the wall here, it's a great/bright/yummy space to get some work done or catch up with friends. I recommend the chai! Love this spot!

Giant Coffee is a little away from the main downtown core. If you are looking for a quiet place to get some work done and enjoy a not overly busy coffee shop environment - this is the place to go. Their honey vanilla latte was advertised as one of their unique specialities, so I had to try it. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of overly sweet caffeinated drinks, but boy, did this one hit it out of the ball park for me. The luscious, silky foam and smooth, milky coffee had delicate notes of aromatic honey. You couldn’t stop at one sip, it was just perfect. The way the roasted aroma of the coffee beans danced with the flowery honey aftertaste… it took me a minute to get back to reality. There was a selection of foods offered as well such as burritos and sandwiches. I spent quite a lot of time there and enjoyed it - they even had raised up little “office desks” with power for laptops where you can work and enjoy the cool people of Phoenix come in to socialize and grab some food. Just a great place to check out if you’re in the area.

Perrrrfect mocha. I was afraid it will be too sweet like in many places, hence I stopped buying them, but at Giant it's rich, creamy smooth and sweet just a bit. Just right.

It's a place where you can relax to clear up your mind from your problems to your home or other things that bother your mind. I usually go to a coffeeshop to study because it is a good place to be alone where no one can distract you. And the best for it because their staff really gives you space. And sometimes they give you free cakes for you to study well which is I find it sweet thank you

I like this place a lot. The barista was very nice, the location is awesome. Cool little park outside if you want to sit in 110° heat! Ha! But the inside is nice and clean and cool! Great little place to get coffee. I got an iced honey, lavender latte. Really good! If you like lavender flavor.

  • 5/5 Zach S. 2 years ago on Google
I've yet to ask where the coffee is from or how the roast is so good, but the flavor is a giant step above most. Cool and unnecessarily spacious coffee shop with a wall that opens up to the street in non-summer seasons and featuring cool little (and giant) plants throughout. Come for the coffee, pastries, or burritos, but then check out the plants!

The place is nice! Real quiet and serene, which is a good thing to morning people like me. The food was great and served right away. The employees and staff were nice, too. I’m giving them a 5-star rating because aside from their yummiest muffins and pastries, their coffee is the best, too! I will come back here again. Thanks!

It's such a great space to have a drink or breakfast or sandwich and people-watch in an awesome space. Jerome the barista, was really impressive and pleasant to talk with. The place was so comforting and cozy. The egg bites here are similar to what you can get to a famous coffee shop but cheaper, bigger, fresher, and way better!

We were very happy to receive great espresso, latte, and hot chocolate at this coffee shop, rather than the usual American brewed. The cakes were also brilliant and not the usual high fructose corn syrup infused fare one finds in this country. They also had some healthy food and drink options. Very nice atmosphere and service were very friendly. We plan to return on future trips!

Good food and good tea. Fun atmosphere. There's parking in the back off the alley. Update: I don't go there any more. Found a hair in my food. They gave me something else. And then she came back to say it was just a cat hair. That makes it better?

I like this spot a great deal. The barista was extremely decent, the area is magnificent. Cool little park outside assuming you need to sit in 110° warmth! Ha! Yet, within is overall quite perfect and cool! Extraordinary little spot to get espresso. I got a frosted nectar, lavender latte. Great! On the off chance that you like lavender character.

  • 5/5 Adrian R. 2 years ago on Google
Great espresso, friendly baristas. Things are served in to-go ware, which is not my preference. However, my espresso and iced latte was still tasty. Attractive + open atmosphere makes this place a definite must to visit.

Overall a nice place, I'll be back. Pros: Good spot to work, not too crowded or noisy, great workstations against the wall. Cons: A bit pricey and my blueberry muffin only had exactly 1.5 small dry blueberries in it.

  • 5/5 Bridget M. 2 years ago on Google
The best breakfast burritos!!! The coffee and pastries at Giant are excellent, but the breakfast burritos are THEY BEST IN THE VALLEY. Since they take about 15 minutes to heat up, we always call ahead. It's worth it!

  • 5/5 Patty L. 2 years ago on Google
I tried an iced mocha for the first time from this place, and it was so good! Finding the coffee shop was a little difficult and there isn’t a ton of parking right next to it that I could see, so I would recommend parking somewhere on the street and walking to the cafe. The inside is so cute and spacious. I will say, there isn’t really anything special I saw on the menu, but they do the basics really well.

Lots of potential here. The location is great... downtown off of Central. This location could use more than one person serving. The coffee is good, and there are options for snacking. The space could use a little more 'ambiance' and lighting, but overall it's a good place to meet.

  • 5/5 Maddy S. 1 year ago on Google
Iced honey vanilla latte...DIVINE. not too sweet. extra delish. I also ordered the breakfast burrito. Lovely ingredients wrapped in a fluffy tortilla. We love a good tortilla. Friendly service. Tasteful setting. Yummy coffee. Good vibes. What more could you ask for? <3

This place is wonderful! I ordered the iced pumpkin spice latte and the coffee had the perfect flavor ratio of bitter/sweet. The atmosphere is cozy and the place is decorated with lots of plants and books. Also the barista that helped me was very friendly and gave lots of coffee recommendations for my first time here. Will be coming back to try the honey vanilla latte!

This is the best coffee shop I've been to! The ambience is both calming and productive, and I love how they open up the glass wall when the weather is nice. It has a gorgeous indoor/outdoor atmosphere with great drinks at a fair price. Perfect for studying, catching up, or getting a quality cup of whatever you like.

Giant coffee is the perfect spot to work, study, or just hangout. They're dog-friendly (saw the cutest, sweetest golden retriever there today), the coffee is great, the breakfast burritos are awesome, and the ambiance is great. Lots of plants, lots of seating, lots of open space, large windows with natural light. One of my favourite coffee shops!

  • 4/5 Joacim M. 9 months ago on Google
Cute and quiet coffee spot close to light-rail. Sweet treats as cup cakes are moist and flavorful. Coffees (hot or cold) are deep and delicious. But what really lowers my blood pressure are the green house plants that fills the space. This is a barebones, relaxed place for work sessions or meetings.

Great coffee spot with yummy freshly baked goods. The breakfast burrito is delicious and comes with a great salsa. Our 7 year old enjoyed the boiled eggs. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are clean and new. Comfy seating with places to plug in your phones and laptops. The strawberry preserves we're phenomenal.

Vibe? On point. Friendliness? 12/10. Breakfast burrito? Delicious. Earl grey loose leafe tea? Disappointing :( I've yet to have the coffee (it looks and smells amazing) the tea tastes like a coffee person, whom does not drink tea, tried their best to make it fancy. It did not hit. Still recommend for everything else.

  • 5/5 Maya S. 3 months ago on Google New
This spot is awesome! Absolutely love the vibe of this spot, and they have lots of space, seating, and outlets. Their menu is somewhat limited. They do not have a matcha, or a very wide variety of non coffee drinks. For food, your options are a muffin or a burrito. The espresso drinks were amazing! I tried the seasonal rosemary latte, and we not disappointed by the flavors. The service was quick, despite there only being one employee working. I would absolutely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a drink in Uptown.

If you are the type of person who likes coffee, this is the best place. You can visit here either alone or in a group. The chairs were comfortable and the restroom is well designed and maintained. They have fast WiFi and power outlets that are available for charging. You can visit the place anytime. Highly recommended!

Amazing delicious coffee in the IE! I've been a huge fan of Giant Coffee ever since I tried it at the San Dimas location. The cafe is very quaint and well kept. The workers there are extremely well informed and knowledgeable in their area of expertise. I always get the Iced Latte and it is to die for. Absolutely fresh! I would totally recommend this place.

Wow! Their desserts and coffees are just overwhelmingly delicious and one of a kind. The location also is very accessible and good, in fact it's inside the mall. Very homey feels while having your coffee here. And also, all of the staff are very accommodating and knowledgeable about the food-pairing for the coffee you order. Highly recommended!

Cute trendy coffee shop. Here on a Sunday it's slow, depending on how busy they get it looks like a great space to study, read, or get some work done. Would totally meet up with friends here. Coffee has good flavor but I ordered a cappuccino and really got a latte with barely enough foam for some latte art, not a proper cappuccino. It definitely has the look and feel of a pretentious coffee shop that would be very up top of proper drink making so I felt a bit disappointed. Will probably stick with a drip if I come back, but they just didn't cut it for my cappuccino needs.

I was running late this morning and saw a coffee shop near the CVS I stopped at to by allergy medicine. I didn't have breakfast and decided to try it out. It had an urban minimalist design, and sadly the coffee matched the decor. I order a chai latte with almond milk and when I tasted it there was something off about it, perhaps it's the mix they use. I wanted a refund, but I had ordered an Uber and it was faster to just get something different. I ordered a cocoa thinking there's no way they could screw that up...well you know that saying about assumptions. It tasted like bland, powdery, almost flavorless cocoa powder mixed with milk. In short if you want to visit a cute, hip coffee shop that's NOT Starbucks, go to Copper Star at 7th Avenue and Glenrosa. Prices are comparable, and the food, drinks and service are exemplary.
