A lovely coffee shop downtown! Great place to grab some cafecito and enjoy the atmosphere. The decor is very beautiful and the staff was very friendly. I stopped by to check out their new love day drinks, ordered the strawberry creme cold brew & their coffee cake, everything was very delightful! Will definitely be back & I definitely recommend checking this place out when visiting downtown!

Popped in to try out a specialty cold brew. The woman suggested the Phoenix, coffee with soy milk, cinnamon, and agave. It was ok, would try another concoction next time instead. The decor on this place was great. Kinda hip, but cozy and relaxing. Def worth a visit.

Excellent coffee great staff, a lot of beautiful art just hanging around, this place makes you feel very relaxed it's very homey. It's a great hideaway to do homework or just get away from everyone and have a good cup of coffee.

My friend and I were visiting Phoenix for the first time this weekend and decided to stop by Fair trade Cafe before heading to the airport... We are so glad we did! This place is perfect. The food was delicious, the ambience was cozy, and the staff was great. Diego took our order and after asking him which one of the smoothies was his favorite, he offered to make me a special drink. I of course said yes and I'm so glad I did because let me tell you that was the best smoothie I've ever had. Like ever! I cannot stop talking about it. I don't remember if he gave it a name or not so I'm just going to list out the ingredients: orange juice, coconut milk, blueberries, strawberries, mango (I think), and white chocolate sauce. Also, I got the breakfast burrito and it was *chef's kiss* soo good, but the dang peanut butter chocolate cookies were even better. I can't wait to visit Phoenix next year so I can order the exact same thing. Maybe by then they'll have Diego's smoothie on the menu! Do yourself a favor and stop by this adorable cafe if you're in the area. I promise you won't regret it. Diego, if you're seeing this, thank you!

Step away from the metro and busy central Ave and into the warmth and relaxed vibes of @fairtradecafeaz. It's located right at the curve of where 1st and Central Ave come together. It has become my favorite area of downtown Phoenix as it's such a great area to walk and explore. This is a great spot to start the day with coffee and breakfast. My seasonal iced coffee flight was flavorful but not too sweet. Ma had a tasty egg and cheese croissant sandwich. My chorizo one was loaded with great flavor while still being nice and light. They also offer bagels, burritos, paninis, smoothies and ice cream. The inside of the cage is cozy with tables and plush seating. The outdoor back patio sits in an alcove of the Roosevelt square apartments. It's a nice little hidden spot, and we really enjoyed starting our day here. I don’t want to be that person but, I was excited to find this place until I got my food and this is how it looked like. Soggy, old, poorly washed celery stalks, days old bagel that was so hard to chew through. Cozy environment but I wouldn’t recommend the food.

A modern and really cute cafe/coffee house featuring a great selection of locally roasted coffees , artisan sandwiches, and in-house baked goods. They have a rotating art gallery inside and they9 seem to be a nice gathering spot and a good place to hang out. We tried the Café Helado and the Truffle Grilled Cheese sandwich served on sourdough bread with Monchego and Provolone cheese , arugula , sun dried tomatoes, and truffle oil. Everything was delicious, organic, and good for us, too. Please support them.

So kind of interesting I used to work at the apartment complex that fair trade Cafe is attached to and their owner and their staff were always very kind and very helpful with everything that we needed to do and they were always very considerate for the people who live there as well as the people who are coming in to get coffee and snacks. And may I say they Have some awesome very unique ice cream. And the coffee is really darn good as well. You guys are awesome. Keep up the good work.

Open 6am - 10pm. Really friendly staff and most folks fluent in both Spanish and English. The folks who come in are very friendly and the cafe is open to hosting charity events, art events and anything that relates to supporting the community. There is local artwork hanging around waiting to be bought and the food + drinks are all acquired through fair trade. Puppy friendly and the coffee is priced around $2.50 and other food ranges around $10 a plate. Great atmosphere!!

The coffee is so good here that I'm giving this coffee shop at a five-star rating. The coffee shop itself is marvelous. The place was so relaxing and quiet. The barista was so courteous and approachable. This place is good for studying and do business as well. Oh g! I missed their coffee and cakes now. I can't wait to visit this shop again.

I usually love this place, but today was a disappointment. I asked for a decaf coffee because I am very sensitive to caffeine. I definitely received a caffeinated beverage because I am jittery and nauseas. Please be more careful when making drinks.

I was visiting Phoenix and looking around the Arts District. This café is in a great location. It has a really good environment inside and sidewalk tables outside. They have a very good menu with soup, salads, sandwiches and wraps. I just got ice cream. I think it was homemade. It was excellent! I got the white chocolate, and the hot cinnamon. The sweet and spicy complimented each other nicely. Plus good and friendly service!

Really cool shop. The interior design really caught me by sunrise walking In there. The selection of coffee is nice and the option of ice cream is a great combination. The hot chocolate that we ordered was Luke warm which was disappointing for the cold weather.

Fell in love with this place while in town. Yes decor is gorgeous but I don’t buy into decor. Most places have cute decor but service and coffee sucks. This place is unique and I love that. Coffee & service is really good. Girls are hard working and they make tasty coffee. It’s organic and not burned like a place down the street (Lola’s) sorry had to put them on blast. Literally had to throw away my latte from them and find Fair Trade! I’m so glad I did! For my gluten sensitive people: They have really good peanut butter chocolate chip cookies! We got 12 of them 😅😆 They have lunch menu. We had a tuna sandwich on a really good gluten free bread & their spicy hummus plate. Delicious. Basically all sandwiches can be made w/ gluten-free bread. Salad that comes with sandwiches also delicious. I definitely recommend this place and we will see you guys next time we’re in town. Chao! 💗

This is my “go to” coffee shop! My husband and I just adore this place. I invite all my clients here so they can also get the experience. Not only is it decorated with culture and different monthly art but the service is amazing! Tomato soup and grilled cheese is my favorite meal and The Phoenix coffee is absolutely amazing and I don’t even drink coffee. The atmosphere is fun and uplifting. I love how on Tuesday’s they donate 10% to charity. A Latina owned business who also supports other Latina business owners. I’m proud to say that the owner, Stephanie, has become a dear friend of mine. Definitely give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I came for the atmosphere. The interior looked really cozy, like a nice place to bring someone to sit and talk. It turns out that the seats are very worn down but it was still nice. I didn't like the hot coffee but it came with cute latte art and the smoothie was comparable to Jamba. It's a little more expensive than my regular coffee shop but still a nice place

Recently went to this cafe with my wife. The cafe is located is downtown Phoenix. It has an awesome ambience and good place to sit and spend time. There are good amount of food and drink choices. We had ordered Mediterranean wrap, Pumpkin bread and Hot Chai. Everything was good but we loved the Hot Chai very much.

I’m such a coffee gal & this place was on my list. I ordered a Large Cinna butter & was saddened. My homemade coffee taste better than this. There wasn’t no flavor. But I also ordered a chorizo sandwich and a turkey & cheddar stuffed croissant. My brother said the chorizo sandwich was “bomb as hell”. The turkey & cheddar was delicious , but I do recommend flipping the the croissant upside down to also get a crisp bec it was soggy underneath.

Online they dont say anything about actual being closed. And their store sign says they open from 8am to 5pm, but that's not the whole truth either. FTC is closed but you can order over the phone and pick up curbside only. So no printing service, if thats what you need. Transparency across all mediums is easy to implement. Change your hours and services online so people are not confused. I drove FTC today because I trusted your companies online information which you have not updated. What a waste of time.

This palce has a fun, funky vibe. There is both indorr and courtyard seating right in the heart of the arts district. The coffee is to-die-for and I'm normally a tea drinker. I had a nice curry chicken sandwich with very healthy side offering. The carrot sticks were actually REAL, rather than the baby kind. The service was quite friendly. Great iced coffee. Great hot brew as well. Helpful staff. We sat outside and It got noisy at times because of the trolley stop right across. But overall great cup of coffee

I came in a couple of months ago because I needed to charge my phone. I knew that it was near closing time, so before I ordered a drink, I asked the barista if they were still open. She said yes, and proceeded to take my money and make my drink. As I searched for my phone charger, this same barista then told me, "Actually, we're closed." There were other customers still inside drinking coffee, mind you! I don't think I had taken more than a few sips of my drink, and I was definitely not finished with it. I didn't have a chance to plug my phone in at all. And when I told the barista I was trying to charge my phone, she said, "I think there's an outlet outside in back." So I walked outside, and she followed me and locked the door behind me immediately. It was soooooo rude!!! Honestly, it was kind of humiliating. I was a paying customer and didn't even get to drink what I bought! By the way, there isn't an outlet outside! She obviously lied just to get me to leave. This was so disrespectful, and I was not being loud or disruptive, or breaking any law.

I've always enjoyed my visits to this local shop - they have good coffee, good house specialties, and some great baked goods (the coffee cake and pumpkin bread w/ chocolate chips both got rave reviews from our small group today). And in this time of Covid they require masks and further ask that all patrons wear them when not eating or drinking. All staff complied but they don't appear to enforce it for the patrons. Many who had clearly finished eating continued to keep their masks off. I know the awkward position this puts a business in - but I applaud that they state the expectation, and would hope that patrons would honor the request.

Enjoyed the ultra close proximity to the rail station and my hotel (Foundre). Ordered a cappuccino and an espresso shot. The cappuccino had too much milk, with very little foam. It was good, but more of a latte. I did buy one of their chocolate chip gluten-free cookies, which didn’t disappoint. Wish they opened a bit earlier, as 7am is too late for a coffee shop to open, but that may be Covid related. Nice place overall.

The place was busy tonight, I placed an order for pick up. Before I left the place I double checked and an item was missing. I told the cashier about the item and the cashier said sorry kitchen is closed there is nothing I can do about it. The order was $100. I think an additional salad should have not been that hard to get for me.

This is a down to earth pizza restaurant with lots of decent food to choose from and good service. If you are looking for a basic full meal at a reasonable price this is the place to go.

The food was good but the staff was rude, I get there open late and they could of had a bad day but don't need to take it out on me. Ordered ahead coming from work to make it easier on everyone still waited over a hour. Might go back not sure yet. Food was good tho and convenient

We came to this restaurant for lunch. we heard about this restaurant from quite a few people. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we felt excellent. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Went in due to 'pizza by the slice' sign out front. When I tried to order sausage and mushrooms the guy said it was a vegetarian restaurant. I saw they had olive and mushrooms slices in the glass case so I ordered one slice. It came to over 7 dollars. I excused myself and left. Too too much for a slice of pizza.

Cute spot, good vibes. The chocolate milkshake and the ravioli were really good and tasty. I took away 1 star because the pizza was nothing to write home about.

My wife and I stop at many small restaurants to see if we will be surprised by the menu. I can say we were very surprised here. We ordered lasagna, spaghetti and ziti. The service was very good , however when got our dishes we were all unprepared to find out there was no meat of any kind in any dish. If we had known this was a veggie only restaurant we would not have stopped. No indication on their outdoor signs, no indication on the front door, nothing on the menu.Prices were excessive for pasta and marina sauce. Dissapointed.

The coffee is up to par, so it is a Fair Trade for a little ovet three bucks. That ought to help pay all the artists that eirher hung their works or painted it like a mural I enjoy this place because the service is as good as it gets.

It's a lovely cafe which is also a gallery. You can buy the paintings on the walls of the cafe. The decor is very very pretty and colorful. You can come here and work for a maximum of 3 hours. The place is a bit expensive coz we spent $15 on 2 iced coffees but worth it coz of the interior and the atmosphere

What we liked about this place are the very lovely staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. The coffee also that we ordered was very tasty and very satisfying. Thus, we enjoyed our stay here. If you're into reading while savoring a coffee, you could pick and read your favorite book to read. Thank you so much for welcoming us nicely!

Get The Phoenix cold brew. Seriously hands down the best coffee I have ever had. Not only is the coffee and food good, but the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is great. I work remotely so I try a lot of different coffee shops to work in and this place is hands down my favorite so far. Lots of seating also with outlets available.

This shop has the perfect combination of indoor and outdoor space for hanging out, striking up a conversation, or being super productive. Overall a very pleasant environment and a nice place to go. The service here was very genuine and all of the staff are real and professionals. Great quality of people and service, coffee and food are good, and the environment is exceptional. Highly recommended!

The service and and vibes were awesome! Pretty simple menu for a first timer ordering at a real coffee shop. I will say that some of their treats and drinks should be labeled more precisely. Or at the least if you go make sure you ask what the items your ordering taste like specifically.

I watched a IG post and thought this place looked cute! I was not disappointed and neither was my client❣️. I loved how the coffee shop was set up with little sections of what felt like personal space. The coffee was yummy too! Wish there was one closer to North Scottsdale

I'm all about trying new foods and places. The service here was great, my husband ordered a croissant and I ordered a bagel with capers and it was delicious! We also tried their cookies and really liked them as well, they have flights of coffee to order and healthy smoothie options

Okay LOVE!! Latina owned coffee shop with such a great vibe - love the cozy couches and little corners to sit and enjoy. The avocado toast was not my fave but still tasty. I also got the Black Magic Women cold brew and I am shocked! The citrusy lemonade and crisp sparkly water pair so well with the cold brew and was a really refreshing drink during this heat wave!

I do like this place, but after taking my very well trained shepherd husky mix here at least a dozen times, including for numerous meals, while she rested quietly under the table, we are told today on one of the hottest days of the year that only service dogs are allowed inside, and we have to enjoy our drink and pup cup outside. I don’t mind being outside, but not when it’s 104 degrees. In defense of the owner, she did offer Shelby some water, and the server did get my girl a pup cup. But I guess we won’t be back until the fall. Bummer. I guess there was some kind of incident recently.

Fair trade is my favorite stop of the week! I look forward to sitting and getting some reading or light work done each week. I've tried about 1/2 their food menu and never had a meal I didn't like. They use fresh ingredients, you can tell by the taste. Their coffee beans are also ethically sourced and the drinks are all great. Only critique I have for this place, is sometimes the Sunday DJ kind of changes the peaceful coffee shop vibe for me, but that's just my personal opinion. This place is super lay back and I'll keep coming back.

This place is amazing. The coffee is amazing. The most authentic, Hispanic, women owned business is where to find coffee!! The owner is involved and interacts with her customers!! When you rave about the place out the door, like us, you know it’s good!

Great atmosphere to come and get work done. I love the music and everyone working is always very friendly and helpful. Sometimes it can be hard to get a table during busier hours, but if you time it right you should be fine.

Absolutely one of the best White Chocolate Mochas ever made!!! They put a little bit of cherry in it (since I asked) too and it was just a bliss. I do not know any of their names but they are so nice too!!!
