All the great reviews got me excited but the lattes were really disappointing. Everything is too sweet. Ordered regular flavour/ no flavour and it tasted sweetened. I had to dump it. The same went for their baked treats - too much sugar. I had a cake pop and it was basically gnawing on a chunk of sugar. Disappointing was also their packaging. So much plastic and wastage. There are ways to be COVID safe without destroying the environment. Behind the cup for donut holes you will see the package for the cake pop.

With all the positive reviews we were hoping to find a real gem here. They run a traditional spring lever machine and seem to have good pastries, etc. However, when we ordered, it was apparent by the dirty steam wand, reheated milk and tannic shots that it wasn't the coffee spot we were hoping it would be. Even basics, like wiping the portafilter of old, extracted grounds and cleaning the steam wands of burnt milk went unnoticed. The cappuccino I ordered was more like a poor quality latte, with a thin lump of dry foam on top, and was 16oz at that. The almond honey protein shake was so sweet it ended up in the trash. I hope others have a better experience and the owners/Managers take the time to correct the poor barista methods... It should, in theory, be capable of producing excellent espresso based drinks.

Used to think this was a 5 star place then I received this when I ordered. The French toast was beyond delicious the first time I bought it but this second time was beyond disgusting. I would never serve this to a customer. Tastes like raw egg and bread

It’s a “hidden” gem on Washington and 3rd St. Friendly service. It’s an outside location, they have a mist to accommodate the outside heat. The coffee is delicious.

Incredible espresso, the lever machine says it all. I've roasted my own coffee, put 2k at an espresso setup at home, drank a lot of good coffee in AZ so I have some experience in coffee. I would rate it up top 3 shops in Arizona especially if the owner is pulling the shots. Highly recommend getting the doppio. There's an extensive menu with great espresso base to develop from, so there's something for everyone.

One of the only places open on Sunday morning by our hotel in downtown. Excellent coffee, none of that creamy thick starbucks stuff. This large coffee actually kept me awake. I got the breakfast sandwich on an English muffin and my sister got the sausage breakfast one. Both were served with chips? Odd but also very tasty. Looooved the food! The pepper they added to the egg was amazing and a great touch

Finally, FINALLY there's a non-chain coffee dispensary within spitting distance of the convention center! I'll probably have to update my review since I've only been there once, but so far, I like it. They have decent coffee (with lots of flavor options, if that's your thing), and breakfast sandwiches, and muffins, and Belgian waffles. None of it is cheap, but given that location that's no surprise. The cappuccino and waffle and muffin I tried were all squarely in the "pretty good" category. EDIT! After a few years, I'm afraid my love for this place has diminished by a star. I like coffee in the afternoon even better than the morning, so their new hours (closed by 12:30) means I'm out of luck. Their prices seem even higher now, but the breakfast sammiches are still really good. The coffee is better on some days than others, depending on which barista is working that day. Pastries are okay, not great.

5***** if you're looking for a great little grab and go sandwich, coffee, and/or pastry. We're used to NYC deli's being from NY ourselves so this is quite similar to that concept. Great for anyone working or passing thru downtown. There is great, safe, clean parking in the parking garage with direct safe access to Dapper & Stout. Very clean area. We went this past Sunday morning, & the lady that assisted us was wonderful, kind, and welcoming. We appreciate that. Beautiful packaging, great presentation esp. For anyone esp. Downtown wanting to pick something up quick to take to the office, either for themselves or staff. Great, safe, individual packaging. We felt bad wasting the beautiful bags, and packaging but understood the grab and go, very professional concept of catering to the downtown working professionals and residents and passerbys. We completely enjoyed sitting in the sun, on the quiet Sunday morning, drinking our delicious coffee. Thank you.

I am not a coffee lover however, since visiting Dapper and Stout I have been craving a really good latte. Whether you are in the mood for coffee or a cocktail, Dapper and Stout is the place for you. They also serve pastries and have an amazing lunch menu to match their drink selections.

Great coffee and pastries. It's next to where I'm working so it's very convenient for me. Between them and Starbucks I'll choose dapper and stout every time.

Ordered a plain black coffee in the afternoon and got what I'm pretty sure was instant coffee. It was $3.50, tasted bad and I dumped it.

Tasty sandwich and (surprise) decent espresso, but closes WAY too early.

Airport experience. Ordered a Regular Coffee ☕ It was really delicious and tasteful. I enjoyed every sip. Customer service is A+.

I love espresso! The flavor of the coffee is very good to me I can see how others might say it's burnt but I don't believe that is the case. I would suggest trying it and see how it reacts with your palette but it is definitely a good cup of Joe. I did notice they use a lever to extract the espresso which is pretty unique. An important thing to note is if you plan on visiting this place parking is a hassle downtown. That's the only reason for the 4 stars. I asked the barista if they could validate because I had to pull into a parking garage below the Bank of America building and he said he did not have a way of doing that. So if you can find some free parking and a way to get there it pays off, or if you happen to be walking around or working downtown it's worth a visit.

Ordered the Signature Bowtie drink as I was told it was the most popular. Super delicious coffee hit the spot. Conveniently located in the NE corner of the Collier Center.

Nice little coffee shop close to the convention center. I got a cold brew coffee and a butter coffee cake. The cold brew was fine - not the best one I’ve had but still very good. The cake was great. Highly recommend!

The owner is a respectful gentleman and is more than happy to take care of you. I will recommend the best smoothie in town...the strawberry/banana.

Awesome coffee spot downtown. The seating is limited to outdoor only, but is covered. The service is excellent, and the coffee quality is great as well. Lots of quick food options makes this a great grab and go spot. Highly recommend!

You can get a caramel macchiato anywhere, but you can only get a Bowtie macchiato here! So yummy and smooth because it's made with cream. I also tried the Breakfast Bagel. This sandwich is to die for! They just created a new sandwich I also tried called the Monterey Chicken; extremely tasty if you are looking for a healthier lunch item. Staff is always helpful and willing to give personal recommendations. I will have to visit their Glendale location soon!

Cheap! Kombucha is not a drink you would put ice in. People want the probiotics! I know this since I make it at home. People are willing to pay for a full cup in this building even if that means you raise the price. Raise the price by a $1.00 for a full cup. Don’t use ICE as a filler in people’s Kombucha... Update: They did the right thing and charged a little more for the Kombucha. The owner even steeped out to speak with me. Five Stars

I ordered a delivery from them through Postmates and they failed to make my order and were so rude to the Postmates. I ordered a soy latte and apparently it didn’t charge me extra for soy so they refused to make my drink and give it to the Postmates. He claimed he cancelled my order, which he did NOT, so me and the Postmates had to sit and try to figure out what was happening. It’s not my fault you didn’t set up your Postmates menu correctly to charge extra for soy milk! What terrible service. Don’t utilize Postmates if you can’t handle it.

I ordered the 24 oz iced latte with oat milk. It was a little extra, but I’m only in town for less than 24 hours and thought that I could splurge a little. 😉 My friends all ordered sandwiches and pastries. Happy with the variety and the staff was very kind.

Dapper & Stout is the best coffee spot I've ever been too. The coffee is amazing, the snacks are delicious and the employees are fast and friendly. I've always been able to have genuine conversations with any of the workers there. From a person who's always hated coffee Dapper and Stout has got me addicted.

My go to local coffee spot for when I’m at work. Always great service, genuine conversation, and smiling faces. Want a great pick me up? I HIGHLY recommend the espresso protein shake. You won’t be disappointed.

Cute little spot at the bottom of Collier Center. Service was great. Muffin hut the spot. Music was a little too loud. They have a variety of coffees drinks, smoothies, etc. I’ll be back.

Had a muffin and coffee. The muffin was nice but i would have liked it room temp instead warmed up. Its a personal preference that was not given to me as an option. The coffee was watered down heavily and way too hot. It took nearly 15 mins to cool off. The price was reasonable though. I have tried the other location in Glendale and wasnt sure they were affiliated because the quality was way worse here. I am willing to try them out again but so far im not impressed. I returned to the location and will admit a couple errors on my part. I didnt read the print on the menu stating all muffins are warmed up. I also did not see that the house coffee is an americano. I dont care for americanos so those were my mistake. After a second visit the staff was still cery polite, the muffin was very nice. But the coffee still was just ok. Most of the drinks are loaded with sweetners and the coffee taste very burnt. The cold brew is very nice though.
