The perfect local shop. Espresso is very smooth and well sourced. I am not sure what their house blend is but I had a quad shot whole milk lavender latte and it was divine. I walked from a local hotel and they are open very early 5:30 am so great place to go before your meetings start. There is plenty of parking, handicap accessible. And the baristas are extremely friendly and welcoming. There is local art posted on the walls available for sale from local artists whichi just love!

I love the frozen Java, I add an extra shot in the medium sized cup. So good!

Wow, what an amazing coffee house, independent and local. They’re on top of their game. Drinks are super high quality, coffee beans unbelievably fresh and yummy, actually healthy food choices, and the customer energy is off the charts! Impeccable service and the baristas are fun. It’s the kind of place you immediately become a regular. Great spot for meeting a client, catching up with work or reading, and getting your daily fix. Love all the high end sports cars out front!

Neighborhood coffee shop where locals gather. Enjoyed the outdoor seating and meeting and visiting with friendly neighbors. First Visit and Loved this Place. I Love the Name and the Vibe is Great. Friendly, helpful service. Enjoyed the smooth drip coffee selections and they have Heavy Cream. Perfect. Great menu offerings. Something for everyone. Parking is good as it’s in a shopping center. Several Restaurants in this shopping center with Safeway grocery right in the middle. Definitely will return.

Coffee is very good however there have been many times I have to walk out because the line is so deep and only 1 person is working. Speed of service needs to be figured out.

My experience here was so great! It was my first time and the barista was so welcoming and helped answer my questions. Their espresso is delicious and I got the Thin Mint Latte. The flavors balance out so nicely for an afternoon pick me up. Cute spot in the Biltmore area. Note - Drink came full but I drank some to try it out.

I love their coffee. I can now say I've had all the breakfast burritos and each one is fantastic. Both the red and green sauce are wonderful and a very good addition to the burrito. Usually, you can get a good breakfast or good coffee but not both. Well now you can!

Only been to Hava Java a few times and have loved each visit. This place has a really great atmosphere and good coffee. Haven’t tried anything else on the menu yet. I see they take responsibility for feedback from other reviews, which is super awesome. Only downside is that this place isn’t closer to me! Will be coming back soon

This place is such a great find. I had the friendliest barista and such great foam art. This place reminded me of sitting at cute a cute cafe studying for my college classes and having a warm cup o joe, but the coffee is actually good here. 10/10 will be back.

My new favorite coffee shop. Quin is an artist and puts real time and attention into everything he does. I love the outdoor patio and, despite always being busy, have never been unable to find somewhere to sit. You won't be disappointed!

The absolute hallmark of a neighborhood coffee shop. Most importantly the coffee is absolutely top drawer quality. Espresso is pulled with care and is so deep and complex. That, and the entire staff who are so friendly and welcoming, make this place a real highlight of my day. Excellent bagels and banana breads too when you’re feeling a bit naughty.

Wow! This was a great find! The brewed coffee was fantastic! We also had the veggie ( vegan) breakfast burrito and zucchini bread and both were fabulous! Will definitely keep Hava Java in mind on our next trip to Phoenix!

I was in the area for work. I'm no coffee connoisseur, usually just need the caffeine to get going. But the coffee here was so delicious that even I could taste the difference. I can see why it's a local fav!

Never leave reviews but this place deserves it! So many yummy tea and coffee selections even for basic hot coffee drinkers like me. I love the macadamia flavor! The best part of my experience however is the amazing customer service by the gentleman working Sunday afternoon! He was so friendly to everyone in line and really left a great first impression. I love this place! The parking sucks but for a good reason. We get the chai tea latte. Everything is good though. The baristas are always welcoming and will answer any questions. There’s out door seating.

French roast coffee was bland and tasteless. Stopped in because of the good reviews. I was kind of disappointed. I may be that I have drank strong coffee for so long. Next I will try an espresso drink

To be very honest - one of the most disappointing cups of coffee I’ve ever had. Tried their ‘gourmet’ drip and I’m not entirely sure it was actually coffee. Definitely do not recommend it. 9 month later follow-up as I see a response from Hava Java- If you're assuming I accidentally filled coffee with something from the hand sink - that may say more about your coffee than you think. The inherent issue with your product is that it was nearly $10 for two cups of 'coffee' which puts you into the 3rd Wave realm, but your beverage did not remotely come off with any hint of nuance, taste, or understanding of what it takes to get the most out of coffee. It's been a while, but I believe it was a single origin, and what it lacked in acidity, it more than lacked in general tasting notes. But if you can make $10 on two mediocre cups of coffee, I commend you for your business.

Excellent iced coffee and super friendly people working there! The service was quick even when they were busy, but they also took the time to make sure they made our drinks just how we wanted them. We went every morning on our vacation and I miss it already.

I’ve been to this place numerous times and have had a great experience and the coffee has always been perfect, until today. I ordered 2 iced vanilla lattes with oatmilk and light vanilla syrup. When I got them they were way too sweet and super grainy. I waited in line and asked the barista if she could remake it, I tried to explain to her what was wrong with it but she grabbed the drinks from me and started talking to the next person in line while I was mid sentence, she didn’t say a word to me or even apologize. I understand mistakes happen but she was rude and the remake coffee we got was just as sweet and more grainy, probably because she didn’t bother to listen to what was wrong with it in the first place. Ended up spending almost $15 on coffee that we threw away. I understand that they are human and mistakes are going to happen especially when it’s busy, but after how we were treated today I won’t be back.

Got a matcha latte, appreciate I could have it unsweetened, but the surcharge for non-dairy milk was $1, which is a bit excessive for the cost differential. Matcha wasn't very strong, but the service was nice. Other customers however were pushy and rude

Blonde barista was on her game this morning. Have never seen such a fast, organized, friendly one-woman show like her. Latte was perfectly hot and delicious. Will be coming back!!!

We came to Phoenix on vacation and visited Hava Java every morning for a week. The barista’s were all friendly and welcoming and the coffee was consistently great. Definitely would recommend.

Wow! Amazing vegan pastries and lattes in a lovely setting. I had a potato-sausage empanada that was out of this world.

Great local coffee shop!! Love their espresso and iced coffee drinks and their teas are good too. They have so many flavored options which I love and their iced coffee is not burnt tasting or acidic like some places tend to be, it’s so smooth I can drink it without milk which says a lot for me. I usually drive out just to get their coffee and it’s always tasty.

Hava Java has the best coffee, but more importantly the best staff. They are so nice, and I always walk away feeling better. Great patio area, and the food is good. I’ve been bringing my kids there since they were born. It’s a wonderful tradition to grab coffee and pastries and enjoy some family time.

Hava Java stands up as one of the best brunch places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Initially walking through the doors, I was astounded by the vibe of the place. The creative decor set a really nice tone and made me even more excited to try the food. Just about everything I tried was delicious.
