We moved away from the Arcadia area and wished we had a La Grande Orange in North Scottsdale! Always a clean place with friendly staff and plenty of healthy food options. We always pop in anytime in the area and snag ALL the cookies and pastries and coffee. La Grande Orange is the perfect place to meet up with a friend or colleague to have a casual catch-up. You can grab a sandwich, parfait, or salad from the grab n go fridge or order a shareable lunch item from their walk-up counter. Forever and always been a fan and wish there were more multi-use grocery, bakery, and pizzeria concepts around town. Check out La Grande Orange and show them all the love!

The vibe here is Aaaaaamazing! The ambiance is comfy. I enjoyed the cashier being knowledgeable about vegan entrees that I could order. I couldn’t believe how delicious everything was. It was magnificent eating the food. So Yummy and worth it. I was able to eat the pepper sandwich. For desert I had the Apple cookie and banana bread. It was Sooooo delicious. The outdoor eating was relaxing. In addition to this I purchased two cakes I was disappointed that they were priced the same but wasn’t the same size it was very noticeable. I was very upset and felt like the man rushed instead of taking the time to ensure it was the same size. I would definitely be careful with the cakes but the food is great!!!

I am a long tome fan of LGO, their store and their food. When I’m in Phoenix, there is a 100% chance I will be there. I’ve been three times in the past 3 days. It is a frenzied mess, with no respect for social distancing. Each time I’ve been in, I have been bumped my multiple people. People are packed in a crowding everywhere, which is how it’s always been, but I was surprised to see they haven’t put measures in place to encourage social distancing. The food has been rushed and quality is sacrificed. English muffins weren’t toasted as orders. French pancakes were cold and gluey as soon as delivered. I love this place, but it’s not a good bet during the pandemic.

The market was nice, and I liked that it was a bakery, gelato shop, mini-market, and pizzeria all at one, and the gelato itself was delicious. However, it melted in like 2 seconds, as soon as it went into the cup.The gelato itself was hard to find if you've never been there, plus super tiny parking lot. Hence why it got 4 instead of 5 stars

I went to La Grande Orange on a recommendation which started with, "Have you ever been to LGO?" Clearly I'm out of the loop. I didn't even recognize the name. (Thank God for Google). I went for breakfast and my first impression was that it was PACKED. Valet for a breakfast joint? Who knew. I went inside and got Lucy's vibes right away. The main room is filled with books, clothes and all sorts of odds and ends. Plus various testers (try the lotion). I stood in line and ordered breakfast from the countless options on the wall. I got the Daybreaket omelet- egg whites with rotisserie turkey bread, cabbage and tomato-avocado salsa. It was devine. Standing in line I watched all sorts of meals come out and each was picture worthy. They have anything you could imagine from omelets to Gelato, cupcakes and pizza. I highly recommend going soon and leave room for seconds.

I ordered their Pepperoni here and asked to deliver it to our office. It was my only pizza parlor for a year now. Even birthdays or simple dinner, we always had their pizza. We love the crunchiness of their crust, and it was not oily, too! My office mates love their pizza. Try them, guys! They also had a physical store where you can dine with their best pizzas.

Not a fan of this bread they use for the avocado toast. Burnt all around the edges as well so sounded like stones dropping on my plate. After breaking off the burnt edges, the rest was fine; liked the spread used, avocado was fresh and egg cooked medium as I asked. Coffee is excellent. Pricey place ($35 for avo toast; breakfast sandwich and two coffees) but they are busy so there you go. Hot popular spot for sure.

Stopped here for breakfast at the end of our bike ride. Shared prosciutto roast, bran muffin with berries and a soy mocha....everything was delicious, service great. Sat outside and enjoyed the morning. Great place!

Never a disappointment! Great food and coffee. I tried a slice of carrot cake this last visit, it was the best I have ever had. Yummy! And of course I can't leave without a bag of their delicious English muffins. They are soooo good.

The smell from the wood-fired oven alone puts me in a trance. Gelato is fantastic. Salads super fresh. Pizza is always a must. I can’t wait to eat my way through the rest of the menu.

I had the green chile burger and it was awesome. Nice place to chill and chat, music was a tad loud on arrival to where it was hard to hear the servers but overall enjoyed. The treats looked good and left with some as well. Would definitely visit again

Today, I had the Gladiator pizza with pepperoni and sausage. I added spicy red Fresno chiles and sautéed crimini, button, and oyster mushrooms. It was the best tasting pizza I've had in recent memory. I would order in if you have the time. The place is buzzing around lunchtime, and there's very limited parking in the front, a few spots in the back. The pizza restaurant is on the south end of the store. The pizza has a thin and crispy yet soft and delicious crust. The sauce is a little sweet and robust. All of the toppings are high quality.

Super busy restaurant! The ambiance and service were excellent! Serving good and fresh meals, fresh juices and good coffee yet affordable. They open for dine-in and to go. Wifi connectivity was very good too. They also have some little shop with cool and unique items. Bought a nice T-shirt there.

I ordered the Kale & Quinoa Salad today. The tastes were all so different (and I'll admit that I was a little uncertain at first), yet they blended together perfectly! My favorite part of it is the sunflower seeds!! The portion size of the meal is just the right amount I'm curious to try the sandwiches next time!

The customer service is always hot or miss but the food is always great. The roasted corn pizza is amazing!! It’s 100% worth trying! You really can’t go wrong with any of the pastries.

Beautiful restaurant with a relaxed feel! We ordered the margarita pizza, mother earth pizza, mushroom pizza, and meat pizza (sorry for not remembering those names). Everyone over their choices! We will definitely be back!

The location is really nice, with a big variety of foods. You can also shop beer, and wine, along with other cute random stuff. They have a great salad selection! The pizza was fresh and delicious not too heavy. 10/10

I ordered 3 of these pizzas in the past 2 weeks. For a $25 pizza I expect more of the toppings I ordered. And they charged me $4 for the prosciutto which the menu says $3. See photo. Also you can’t exchange toppings either. LGO charges you every topping you add even if you delete toppings from pizza chosen. I would not recommend for pizza here at LGO. You get more for the money at Oreganos.

Went there for coffee and a cupcake, the cupcake had glitter and a small fly on it. I couldn't be bothered going back. Inspect your food before eating!

Creative, gourmet, artisanal pizzas served in a trendy, but casual cafe. First of all, THE CRUST 🙌🏽 So flavorful and the perfect texture! Crispy outside and soft, chewy inside. The red sauce was bright, fresh, and a tad tangy which balanced out the cheese and grease from the toppings on the Gladiator. We also got the Mushroom Party with the chicken sausage which was the yin to our gladiator yang. If you love white pizza, garlic, and/or mushrooms, this pizza is a must! Definitely a much richer flavor than the Gladiator, but it was well-balanced and delightful. My fiancé even commented on how good everything was and he is usually pretty indifferent. Well done LGO. We can’t wait to return & try everything else!

It had been way too long since we had been back to La Grande Orange. We wanted their pizza. Parking is always an challenge here and we went right when lunch started. Things have changed since the last time we were there, ordering is at the counter and then they call your name when the pizza is done. I went with the Roasted Corn, which was always my favorite. It was good, but not how my memory was of it. The Husband went with the Gladiator which he enjoyed, but felt the same, definitely different then our memories. It's been decade and we have had other really great pizza's along the way. It started to get really busy, and it was hard to walk around the store. Was nice to return to an old place that held such great memories.

Really fun place to come to with family. Pizza is really good available after 4 or on weekends at 11 I found out. Kent I think his name was super helpful. The girl who took my order was really helpful w my children. Will be back soon as I’m tomorrow.

Super fun atmosphere! Grocery store/boutique and restaurant. The pizza is amazing as well as their salads. The Thai chicken salad was so good, I’ll be craving that weekly. Their pizza is perfectly crispy and the perfect size to share for two. Highly recommend for a laid back vibe.

This is a must go to place in Phoenix! All the food here is great between the pizza, burgers, drinks, and appetizers. I visit this place anytime I get the chance to! They make their own in house Cashew cheese for their pizzas so it's easier to adjust and make a good portion of the pizza's vegan. Would definitely suggest getting the chips and salsa as it won't be a disappointment! There is a Dine in seating on one side, and a small shopping section on the other side which includes ice cream and fresh dessert items; they also have candles, wines, and miscellaneous gift items which offers a great experience after eating. The parking lot out front can get somewhat crowded but there is also another smaller parking lot directly behind the building next to Postino as well - these can fill up quickly on the weekend evenings. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone if you are nearby!

Awesome blend of pizza restaurant, bar, wine bar/shop, grocery, cafe, deli, bakery (I’m sure I’m missing something…). Cozy atmosphere and delicious food and drink.

Unbelievable, unforgettable, just freaking great! La Grande Orange is creative, unique in decor and menu, all just plain cool. The Asian chicken salad was perfect with lots of subtle flavors and good crunch. The turkey sandwich was like the NY Style deli sandwiches - huge and perfect for big mouths. The Americano with steamed milk was very tasty. As we waited for our order, we perused the place: the wines, prepard food, ice cream, chachkas - tee shirts, socks trinkets, cookbooks, children's books, old fashioned candy, old fashioned kids toys, the list goes on. Next time will be heading for the pizza, which rumor has it, is terrific. Wish it was a tad closer but well worth the drive! WAIT: forget to mention the baked goods: tThe giant chocolate chip cookie was decadently good as was the gooey (in a good way) trail mix bar. There...now I'm done 😂

We got a table right away, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The manager stopped by twice to make sure everything was good for us. The food was great and the cocktails were made well. Will revisit! 👍🏻

LGO’s live starter, fermented crust is some of the best crust in the business, folks. I’ve been here a few times, and each time I’m pleasantly surprised. Our Mother Earth pizza was fantastic, especially when that ground fennel hits the nose just right, and we were shocked by the size of the pitcher of beer they gave us. 64oz of draft beer for $16 is hard to beat! LGO is great for families, groups, dates, and parties. Parking can be a little tricky during peak hours, so I’d suggest going during less busy times.

Used to go here all the time when i was little! My favorite place for breakfast. Everything is so so delicious and yummy. The commuter sandwich and strawberry crapes are so yummy! must try ! Service is usually fast and such a cute shopping little gems to find.

This place is amazing! The breakfast options are so varied, and the pastries are out of this world. I strongly suggest trying their chorizo breakfast burrito. However, the prices are a bit high and there aren't many healthy options to choose from. Additionally, they offer various items for purchase such as candles, clothing, books, and more.

We finally tried this place! We’ve been wanting to for years. Lol. Had lunch and it was delicious! Excellent, efficient, and quick service. It’s clean and comfortable. The menu is so difficult to choose from. So many yummy things! We shared a turkey pastrami sandwich on sourdough and it was great. The cold brew coffee was good too. Can’t wait to return and try something else!

The sandwhiches are underrated here! I got the Reuben and it is absolutely delicious & honestly better than their brick fire pizza. We also got the Green Chili Pizza; a good New Mexican style pizza with a thin crunchy crust (center a bit too soggy). It has a Crackle Barrel "feel" to it with a shop grocery store inside. It does feel a little cluttered and disorganized inside but nonetheless it is spacious w a separate room for eating. There is a sandwich / lunch / breakfast shop, a drink counter, and the pizza counter. Great atmosphere for friend gatherings, bringing family, and just chit-chatting over some good wholesome food. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 Great service good food

Went for dinner on a Thursday evening. There was plenty of available seating and we sat at the chef's table which was nice for our party of 6. We all got different pizzas and also got the Sonoma Chopped salad to share. It was huge - 3 of us were able to have a nice sized serving. Everything was so delicious! Our server, Autumn, was a gem! She went out of her way to take great care of us. She was so sweet and helpful with recommendations and she really made it an even more positive experience. Can't wait to go back again soon!

What a fun place! The food is fantastic to start with. Large portions. Pizza is perfect. Displayed desserts are sinful. You enter into the restaurant and are surrounded by a variety of beautiful gifts that you would not find elsewhere. I recommend the experience!

Super cute place! I first came on a Saturday and it was definitely POPPIN. The parking situation was a little tricky, but once I secured a spot, the little grocery store had me mesmerized. I moseyed around for about half an hour with a really yummy horchata latte, staff was super friendly even with how busy it was. I bought a slice of key lime pie and lemon bars and they were both really good. I overheard someone say the pizza was really good, but that day I wasn’t looking to buy food. I came back on Monday with my husband and we didn’t realize pizza wasn’t available on weekdays until 4 pm, so we were a little disappointed. I settled for the Pastrami Reuben and my husband got the Prosciutto Toast. It was kind of confusing as no one told us where to pick up our food and on the weekend they had people running orders to tables so I was under the impression our food would be brought to us. It wasn’t, which is totally fine, but just a little confusing. We were a little disappointed in the food as the toast was quite small for the price and the Reuben was a little bland as it was just bread, unseasoned coleslaw, and heaping amounts of pastrami, I wouldn’t really call it a Reuben. The sandwich was $17 and only came with a small side of fruit. I think this is a super cute place, with great baked goods, coffee, and things to buy! I just think the actual food was a little lack luster.

Visiting Phoenix as a family, La Grande was top of my wife’s list after going to university in the city two decades ago. “It’s the coolest grocery store,” she said. She’s right. La Grande is a small grocery store with a bakery, coffee shop, and lunch counter inside. Additionally, they have a wide wine selection and carry other gifts and goods.

This place is the perfect mix of food, excellent customer service, music and phenomenal coffee. I had the Parisian cheesy eggs. They were sublime. Splendid! Also, literally some of the finest baked goods I’ve had from anywhere. Consistently top notch. If you haven’t been, go.

Food choices are absolutely great here. Sandwiches, salads, pizzas, to go, dine-in, gift shopping, coffees, deserts, gelato... they have it all, and it's grab and go or up real quick. The worst thing is parking. I feel like a shark circling while trying not to be eaten by another shark...was a regular thing coming here 10 years ago, not so much now, but always fun to stop in when back in the hood.

LGO has managed to keep it's vibrancy while putting in place safety measures. The nature of the place means you will occasionally get close to one other people, but on nice days the whole front is opened up and it feels like you're outside more than in a building. The place has charm and soul, which we all need a big dose of right now. We ordered the fennel pizza, which was crusty, toasty, and delicious. And my wife loves to browse the boutique while we wait.

Love the feeling and ambiance of this place. Expo was difficult to understand as a first timer, it was so loud already but listen our for your name was even more difficult and there wasn't clear direction for busting your table? Do we do it or leave it? Food was cold, they were busy so maybe it was an oversight. Coffee was delicious, pastries were also good. Our cashier was extremely helpful but the rest of the staff seemed lackluster so that doesn't help when you're trying to navigate a restaurant for the first time.
