I've shopped at many Fry's Food Stores but, this store is very clean and the employees here are very friendly. Always willing to help, great customer service. Meat dept is always full and appealing. Grocery aisle are fully stocked as well as the surrounding areas. Produce area graves my attention as soon as I walk in. Very clean, organized, full of color and fresh veggies and fruits. I always have the greatest experience here. It's not located in the best of places but, once inside u feel welcomed and comfortable knowing your going to have a great shopping experience. Chip aisle is always looking good to. If u can't find hot Cheetos you will find them here while supplies last haha.

We've been coming to this Fry's for quite some time now and it has changed a lot over the years. *This Fry's is a great place to buy groceries if you know where to look you'll find good deals in every department and save money, also it's very convenient inside you'll find a Bank of America, Starbucks, pharmacy, and if the bank is closed don't worry you can still cash your check at costumer service or you can get money orders and send money to other states even out of the country. *One of our favorite department is the wine and liquor, there's a great selection of wine, beer and liquor depending on what you want to drink. Now they always have good deals for liquor and beer but you need to pay close attention to all the specials. What we do is we lock closely to the weekly add or use the app to find them find. *Outside there's a gas station, the gas pumps are open 24 hrs, one thing we recommend is to never go by yourself to get gas after 10 pm at this location, it is not safe there's always creeps asking for "money" and they come out of nowhere so be careful! *Staff members always friendly with a smile and we've never had a bad experience, instead every time we returned something that didn't work properly, was defective or wasn't good they replaced the item or gave us a full refund, just make sure you keep and bring your receipt with you, now that's good costumer service! What we would like to see to improve the service on this location is: *It would be great if you have security patrolling the parking lot to ensure the safety of all costumers, especially when is dark. *There's a lot of people that rides their bicycles to the store and it would be nice if you guys install bike racks close to the entrance with security surveillance. *Add more items for sale , we noticed that in 2 different locations (Via Linda and 90th and She Blvd. And 90th st) you guys always have great deals or what you call manager specials than any other locations that we've been to.

“Adam” from Frys self checkout was extremely rude and unprofessional. He decided to barge his way to my cash register at self checkout and refill the bags even though I had plenty to use while other self Check out registers had zero bags. i told him several times I’m okay and to please back up and give Me space he completely ignored me and said “I’m doing this” I told him I was in a rush and again to back up since he was less than a foot away while I was in the middle of ringing up my items. afterwards I called his manager over and explained the situation. His manager apologized about the “miscommunication” but Adam become hostile, making comments under his breath and even made a threat that he was scared to repeat once I heard it and called him out on it. Absolutely ridiculous.

This location is usually stocked with everyday products, milk, eggs, butter, cheese, meat, booze etc.. Usually very busy. Starbucks Cafe in the store. Nice floral department. Better produce than food City, el super, ranch market etc. Nice deli cheese selection.

I love Fry's Marketplace. I shop there, almost everyday. Fry's always delivers the best five-star experience. I love the deals in their weekly ads. I can always depend on Fry's Marketplace employees for always being friendly and very helpful. Thank you Fry's.

This store sucks! They rarely have the rascal carts available for handicapped or older people who can't walk very well. And when they do happen to have a cart, the battery is usually dead or dying. The night manager was a jerk when I asked for assistance with one of them. He said I would have to call the company that handles them because fry's has nothing to do with them or their servicing. One cart dyed In the middle of the store after I'd gotten alot of items. Not only did I have to walk all over the place looking for another one, but was asked to move the one that quit working. I was like, are you kidding? No assistance whatsoever! And told it wasn't their problem! Their customer service is awful. One person to handle a mile long line of people. We stood in line for over 30 minutes just to get cash back. Can't go through the checkout anymore because they limit cash back to eighty dollars now. You would think that they could train some of their help that stand around making sure you don't steal a pack of gum when you're checking yourself out! Even 2 cashier's at customer service would help alittle. Fry's used to be very helpful to their customers, but they've gotten as bad as everyone else. Right up there with Walmart. And they are just as bad as fry's regarding the handicap carts. The one near us is like shopping in Honduras! Jesus Is surely coming folks. One thing is certain. Me and this Fry's on 19th and Glendale are parted company!

You guys need to be aware that a man named Aaron Williams Sr. has been robbing your store EVERY SINGLE TIME he goes in. He always carries a take home shopping bag with construction gear & helmet in it. He always wears a baseball hat or has a shaved head. Please alert the police that sit near the front door. Everyone has been trying to get rid of this guy around here. He's probably around 50 years old, white male, and around 5'10 or 5'11. He has an all grey goat tee, not a beard. Just a grey goat tee. I told him he could not jump in the uber with me anymore because he does this every time he goes to Walmart, frys or any other store. I don't have a picture of him but I'm sure police could look him up for you. He lives at 2201 w. Vista Ave. Heavy set guy with a grey goat tee. Nothing but trouble 24/7. Hope this helps so he finally gets caught. Will notify the police too. Keep your eyes open for this guy.

The plastic bags here are terrible. I decided to trust a Fry’s plastic bag to carry my single pack of ramen across the parking lot instead of using a cart. Unfortunately, my trust was misplaced. The bag ripped almost immediately after I crossed the lane and entered the parking lot. Even though I purchased a large box of ramen, I still feel that a bag designed for carrying groceries should be able to withstand me lazily strolling along with one pack of noodles without spilling my groceries onto the asphalt. I’m all for reducing plastic waste, but if someone needs to quadruple-bag their groceries when walking, it’s probably not saving any plastic at that point.

Monique in the liqour department was super rude. She rang up my liqour and refused to scan my other 5 items stating that she was too busy and had no obligation to help me with the other items. Normally I wouldn't care but she watched me take the items out of my basket and line them up for her. Then she made me put them back in thr basket and take them up front. I wish I had demanded a managed then and there but I am unconfrontational. I did speak to a manager which I doubt did much good... She really didn't need to be so rude. Had she been friendly I would have let it go.

This store would get a higher rating if the area was nicer. The neighborhood has gotten so bad that I get nervous walking from my car to the store entrance. I used to walk the 30 minutes to this store but now the route there is full of people who seem to be on drugs and I was almost accosted by someone who was definitely high last time. I will no longer walk there. The store itself is ok, has good options although it’s not always stocked too well. I would like to see things improve so I can update this review.

Was informed all motorized shopping scooters were all stolen by tweekers & would not be replaced. That would make shopping difficult for me. Realize that is not store's fault but maybe have baggers retrieve them like other store branches do

It was fine I guess. My kids were mortified when they thought this place was a drug store. I had to explain that it’s just my medicines. The food was disgusting the date was expired and still in stock even with mold on it. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!!!!

Went to frys on 19th Ave and Glendale on November 1, the girl working bakery was super helpful. A stocker in the isle was completely not helpful. And the guy manning the self checkout needs to relax. He goes around and micromanages everybody at the self checkout. SELF is right in the name. If we want assistance, we will go to a cashier or ASK. He insisted I have my cart completely behind me so I have to turn all the way around to grab each item. No one was in the checkout stand next to me so I slowly pushed my cart over so it wasn’t wrenching my back with every item. He immediately comes running over and says “your basket is getting a little too far over” and try’s to push it behind me. It was literally blocking about 1/4 of the size of a Frys bag so like 4”. And NO ONE WAS THERE. It was slow. No one waiting. Ive been using the self checkout since they started putting them in the stores. I don’t need to be micromanaged,. This guy needs to relax. Super annoying. Next time I will check out with the cashier and avoid the micro manager! I want to appreciate that he’s doing his job but that was a bit much.

If only I could give this store a 0. Please do not do your bill pay here. They lose payments. I had made my last 2 SRP payments here and SRP stated they have not received a payment from them. I came to the store and a book keeper gave me a number to call and said if they can’t help come back Sunday. I called the number she provided and they couldn’t see anything on their end. They transferred the call to this store where I spoke with Jeanie who was rude/hung up on me because I said this better be resolved. I went back to the store and asked her is she was the one who hung up on me and she said yeah because I was going there. She assumed I was going to be disrespectful. Spoke to a manager who stated they needed the exact day I made the payment and then pulled my frys card history for the month which did not include all the transactions by the way. No SRP payment is shown. Hopefully I find my receipts because if not I have to pay again. Also, Im a instacart shopper and whenever I go to this location people cannot point me the right direction for certain items or I find food that’s open.

This store/location is always clean and well stocked. There has always been a Phoenix Police Officer at the entrance when I've been here, but I have always gone in the evening time so I'm not sure if they are there all day or not. However, it makes me feel much more comfortable shopping in the store when they are there because the area does have a large homeless presence with some sketchy people. My young son also loves seeing the Police there, as well as the trains on the light rail tracks next to the parking lot area.

I love shopping here! Produce is fresh, so is bakery! Employees make me feel like I was a kid shopping with my parents....the cashier's always knew my father and mother by name....and although Adam ( a cashier in self checkout) doesn't know my name, he always strikes up conversation. It's the small town feeling you get from all the employees! ( And in this HUGE city of chaos that's amazing!) It really warms the heart!

  • 3/5 Alexandra B. 1 year ago on Google
It was okay. Like most of the retail stores, you can find a lot of empty shelves. It's frustrating to go to store and see this. How are you supposed to feel, Expecting to find stuff and there is nothing. FRYES, FILL THOSE SHELVES! YOUR SALES WOULD. GO WAY UP! If you did.

Zero stars would be better! They charged my card through Apple Pay 4 times! But then said it declined every time and when I checked my bank it hadn’t declined they took a bunch of my money but never gave me ANY of my groceries!! I will never shop at fry’s again!!!

Went there on Friday night with their little police officer posted at the door. Well I purchased a case of water and had my receipt in my hand. Halfway out the door, I hear "Ma'am! Ma'am!!" So naturally I turned around and the employee was like I need to see your receipt and I said ooookay so I showed her. She then interrogated me on which check out I went through. She must have been illiterate because I had receipt with ALL THE INFORMATION ON THERE. Unbelievable. Please drug test your employees or hire people who know how to read. I don't dress or look like a bum so idk what's wrong with them.

Hot out & had to wait for a shopping basket to be brought from parking lot. I didn't see any. Did find everything I needed. Nice customer svc checking out.

  • 2/5 Ed H. 6 months ago on Google
I found probably about 1/3 of the items I needed cause shelves were empty and no associates around to help. Store was dirty, cashier's looked sloppy with their clothes and manager walking around with his dress shirt untucked with the tail completely out, very unprofessional. They need to power wash the outside sidewalk as there are many homeless there about and the sidewalk area near the cart corral smelled heavily of urine

Love the staff here. Has everything you need and it's close by my house so five stars for that. Thanks for keeping a clean store and being so friendly with your customer service at this store.

Working here was stressful because the managers don’t care if you just came outside from doing carts in the sun for 30 mins but yet they will come and ask u to go outside again after relaxing a 10 min break. They not patient with their employees.

(Christina it says on the receipt but it had Arthur on her name tag) the cashier was there yesterday morning when I went to grocery shop. She was the only cashier at that time-around 8am. When I went to pay, my card wasn't recognizing the pin number which I know is indeed correct. She let me call the card balance and my mom to verify the pin all while still at the register. Everything should have been fine with the card. As you can guess the line behind me was growing and growing and I was getting more and more embarrassed and anxious. She remained very calm, stepped in, and helped me work through it and resolved the issue. I walked out with my purchased groceries (thank goodness) and I was just so impressed and amazed at how patient and helpful she was aside from this line behind me. She deserves a raise! Thank you Christina (Arthur)!

I like Fry's, I like Fry⁷ prices, and I even like fries selection of items available for sale. However, what I don't like is being forced to become a cashier and being forced to do self checkout after spending some time shopping and making sure I have everything in order I then have to go and check myself out. No, I do not like that, and I feel like I've been enslaved into being a retail cashier and having to learn all the ins and outs of that position when I really just wanted to go and Shop by my groceries and go back home.

  • 2/5 Deb F. 1 year ago on Google
This is my favorite Frys because of inside. However...outside its one of the worst ever. One time at about 7 am a guy pulled a gun on the store mgr in the parking lot area. Instead of retreating the mgr antagonized the guy telling him to go ahead and shoot. Well we were in the line of fire so I didn't appreciate that in the very least. I would hope their customers safety would be more important than the Popsicles he was allegedly stealing. There are always a ton of people begging out in the parking lot. The area itself is not good one. People get stabbed or shot on the regular near the corner or light rail station and 7/11.

I call and speak with employees in produce and ask if they are having any sales on grapes. The female gets back on the phone and says enthusiastically we have grapes on sale for $2.49 .... I was like uhhhhhhhh.. thanks . Not sure where your from lady but that sure isnt no sales price . I love grapes tho so I'm going to pay it

  • 2/5 Brenda G. 1 year ago on Google
You know sometimes I don't mind paying higher prices because the stores near me and the price of gas is crazy. But when I go in there on my Independence Day the 4th of July, and they're playing Mexican music I'm just a little offended that was just wrong I don't care if mostly Hispanics is shop there, we are in the United States and that was our independence day. There are a lot of white people that shop there too and African "Americans" that are American citizens and others that actually buy car insurance stay behind when they have an accident. But no it was Mexican music . Funny Cinco de Mayo was Mexican music too, go figure huh I can't stand this place but I live with what I got to live with because that's the only place I can get to half the time.

  • 3/5 Theresa R. 1 year ago on Google
Kind of a sketchy area, and the prices are only reasonable if you have their app downloaded for coupons. The metal detector went off when I left because I had bought a flyswatter, let’s just seemed crazy.

🌟🌟🌟🌟 Fry's is always my go to for paying my bills, rent being the most important. Although the line is kinda long at times and they only have 1 customer service employee at the most inconvenient times, I still never have to wait to long like at other major retailers and the 1 customer service employee is always happy to help with a great attitude. If I could suggest 1 thing it would be to have 2 customer service employee's from the 1st through the 6th to help the line run a tad bit smoother. That's my only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Shopping is always pleasant as well. The isles are always well organized and clean, the service counters like the deli and bakery are always on point with fresh affordable food and there are always enough checkout lanes open so you never wait to long. Way to go Fry's, your doing an outstanding job! Thank you to all the employees for their hard work during these rough times! You are the backbone of our community! HIGHLY recommended!

I would highly suggest this location to shop at

Just started using thier pickup service. Staff is friendly and courteous. Fry: is in need of more staff for this service so that the can have your order done by the date and time you have reserved. Maybe they should consider trying some of these friendly staff to train at customer service desk. See M s like everytimeI have used Customer Services I get someone who rely hates being thier a does not ask for backup when she really needs it so she takes it out on the customers by making them wait longer. No smile, no salutations, nothing. Managers. Asking the money is important but how are you going g to make it without customers? Just because we are elderly does not mean we are unimportant. how are you

  • 1/5 Michael S. 1 year ago on Google
By FAR, this is the absolute worse Frys in the city of Phoenix maybe the entire state!!! I dont know about the whole state but the city for sure!!!! Customer Service only exist in the Deli and the tiny lady in the liquor dept. No the taller older one shes just terrible. Ladys in Red always seems to be bothered if asked anything (really wide flat but). Only store in that you have to make multiple purchases at because no one can leave there station, but only when a customer needs something from customer service!!! Which keeps a queue full while the lady hold convo with current customer. I HATE THIS FRYS!!!! I feel bad for the people that arent mobile and have to go there out of convenience......

some frys are still very nice, but not all. And the selections are getting slim in some stores. They need better security in some areas.
