Guys.. this is the best place in Phoenix. Period. There is an overwhelming emphasis on healthy all-natural food. You taste it in the bread, the dressings, the soy-based vegan meats and tofu substitutes — it reminded me of what real food actually tastes like. Just FYI; the place is not strictly vegan but has several vegan/vegetarian choices along with the ability to change anything on the menu for a vegan-friendly option.. I would be amiss here if I didn’t remark about the service. The people working here are absolutely impeccable. We asked for a box to-go to a busy waiter who wasn’t even serving our table, and he stopped what he was doing, brought us a box with a smile, helped us pack things, and even made sure we had plastic utensils for later. And he did it all with a genuine appreciation for our shared humanity that could only be achieved through a culture of the restaurant that promotes health, well-being, and free expression. This was true even of our waiter and the two women who greeted us in the front and helped take our order.. We’re in love with this place. And highly highly recommend it to anyone willing to go for a short drive away from downtown. 6 Stars!

2/6/23- Wow! Very good! My first time here. I like the options and hence the ability to make your own. Served hot and fast on a Monday night (when I went). It's a little pricey and I wish you got a little more bang for your buck, but with inflation and demographic/ worker shortage, it's expected. Ambience is nice, but they could have more comfortable chairs. Service was good too. There are multiple locations so your milage may vary.

Flower Child...a well oiled machine...the food is delicious. It's pretty cool to watch the staff prepare food and get it out to customers with little to "no wait". Really friendly energetic staff. Definitely my favorite place to eat while visiting the Phoenix area. I could eat here everday!!!

The Sweet Corn Quinoa is absolutely amazing. Get 2 sides of it if possible.

Yummmy!!! What an expensive and explosion in my mouth of wonderful and different tastes in my mouth. I almost went vegan here!! Lol had wine, fabulous atmosphere and friendly service. Can't wait to go back!!

First time here. Probably a 4.5 stars. We had a Cobb salad and a turkey wrap. The flavor and freshness of the ingredients were great. Also the vegetables for the wrap were cooked perfectly and all the salad lettuces were fresh. Great flavors. Ample seating and nice open floor plan.

I absolutely love the food at Flower Child. There isn’t a Flower Child where we live so while I was in Phoenix for work, I made sure to stop by and get dinner. I ordered online and they brought the food out to me. Exceptional food. As always.

DELICIOUS! Got the sweet potato noodles w mushrooms! Yum! Good cold bevs & kombucha & wines on tap. The vegan pudding is tasty! Super friendly staff too! Will come back ASAP.

One of the best plant based and vegan option menu other than standard meat options. Especially loved the side of tomatoes and watermelon along with my mixed greens salad! The chicken was most flavorfully grilled!

My buddies work here and they sent me some pics of the recipe book. It’s supposed to be a “healthy” restaurant but everything is packed with salt and low quality canola and vegetable oil and xantham gum. I do indulge in fast food from time to time but when I go to a healthy restaurant I expect authenticity. They also allow money service dogs on the patio. I ate here one time and almost got bit by this dog. Service dogs don’t attack people. She couldn’t even be bothered to use a fake service dog vest.

Flower Child is one of my favourite vegan restaurants in Phoenix ! It’s guaranteed high quality and fresh food and service with a smile. Many vegetarian and vegan options to choose from, something for everyone’s taste. You can dine in or preorder and pickup at dedicated spot, or order to go. It’s an open kitchen concept so you see chefs hustling preparing your food. Plenty of seats inside and outside. Portions are quite generous and quite filling. Any chance I have I always return here !

Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Menu is heavy on veggies, but meat can be added to any dish. The butternut squash soup with lemon grass was outstanding. Fair prices for the quality.

Had a great lunch here recently but the place is not really handicap accessible though my friend did make it up the six or seven steps. We did learn from one of the employees there is a ramp in the back of the shopping center so we used it on the way out. The food is really great, good variety of healthy things to eat.

Grabbed mid day lunch at Flower child today! The menu had something for everyone and all of the dishes were healthy and fresh. I got the Mediterranean Chicken Kabob bowl and loved it. I did try a few bites of my friend’s Mac n cheese and it was so flavorful. You order when you enter and they bring your food out to you, very friendly and helpful staff.

This is the second time I come to this particular location and I do not think I will come back. About a month ago I came to this location and my chicken was cold and the Mac and cheese was undercooked. Although it was replaced, the new Mac and cheese was still cold and undercooked. Today I came and gave this location another try. Once again, the chicken is cold and the sweet potatoes barely have any glaze. Super disappointed.

Amazing food and an abundance of gluten free options means this Celiac will be coming back! The service was excellent and the hostess was very helpful with navigating the menu to avoid gluten. The atmosphere was a bit noisy as local college kids were in abundance, but I would not let they sway anyone from giving this local spot a try!

This is great place for healthy food that is tasty. I have been eating here for the past 3+ years on a regular basis. Unfortunately, since Fox Restaurants was purchased by the Cheesecake Factory the menu has changed somewhat and some of my favorites are gone. At first I thought the portions increased in size but after my last few orders I realize that it is not the case. It is still a go to place for me.

Fresh, always changing a bit, and decently priced overall...although going a la carte can definitely add up fast. The lemonades are squeezed fresh every day, too!

A new favorite. Very fresh and well prepared. Nice variety and refreshing juices/teas. Pictured forbidden rice bowl. Looking forward to trying other dishes in the future. All this in addition to fantastic and friendly service. They also have rotating menu so there are often new selections but this can also a let down when you find a dish you greatly appreciate but is replaced.

The salmon, mashed potatoes and broccoli has been a family favorite since this virus situation. We have gotten at least 24 of this exact meal in the last few months. Highly recommend! Gracias!

I was brought here by my boujee girlfriend. She knows everything. I didn't really know recognize what was on the menu, but that just means this place is that good. The food was outstanding and the staff was very friendly.

High ceilings, wide table spaces and plenty of room to social distance. Open kitchen. Order at the counter. 50% off wine and beer for take out! The bowls are healthy and crave worthy. I added shrimp to the Mother Earth (ancient grains, sweet potato, portobellos, avacado, cucumber, broccoli pesto, charred onion, leafy greens, red pepper miso vinaigrette and hemp seed) and it was perfect. So delicious I ordered another one, with a side of brussels spouts to go. Added more greens at home, a little Sriracha and it was the perfect portion for me and my husband for dinner.

I’ve been going to Flower child for almost 10 years and my latest experience has been my worst. I got two orders as Brussels sprouts for my sides. I’d share the picture of what I have, but don’t see an option to do so. They look like burnt water roaches and taste like they were burnt to a crisp. My mother couldn’t even chew because they were so hard. Check the veggies before you take them home! Pretty awful.

Came for a simple breakfast of avocado toast and coffee and it was great, especially the avocado toast. Not sure how they make it but it’s amazing. The breakfast menu is large with all kinds of dishes from scrambled eggs and toast to smoked turkey and hash scramble. Tasty and healthy. This is not an IHOP kind of place so if you want whipped cream pancakes you will be disappointed.

The building and the restaurant is very pretty, the employees very nice and willing to work with you for food allergies. The dish I got was not good. But my boyfriend enjoyed his meal.

I placed a pick up order. The girl that took my order appeared busy yet kept acknowledging my order. She took my phone number and even stated that my order would be ready in 15 min. When I arrived nobody knew who had taken my order or where it was . They even said that the item I ordered "Madras Yellow Curry" was not part of the menu anymore

Food was great, friendly service. I love that they give you the option of glass or plastic for your drink. Cute atmosphere. A little loud when crowded.

Really great atmosphere and decor. I had the steak with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Oh my goodness the broccoli...I enjoyed the broccoli more than I did the steak and the potatoes! If you visit this place you have to get the broccoli. When I visit again I may just get the broccoli...great food!

This location is just okay. The food is the same as the Scottsdale location, but the women who work at the front are much less friendly and have a “no nonsense” type of attitude. Quite unfriendly.

Spacious location, with a cool green house vibe. Entrees are tasty, got the salmon with butternut squash and spicy Japanese eggplant. Eggplant is no joke in terms of spiciness. Ice tea is tasty and unsweetened. Would recommend. I appreciate the little touches like have a foot handle to open the bathroom door when you exit, or having a choice between using a papertowl or hand dryer

Delicious!! I've been here a couple times and have been very happy. This time I got the glow bowl with tofu and a side of brussel sprouts. The bowl was devine and the brussels with so crispy and delicious. I'll just have to wait for them to expand to Canada (Toronto specifically!)

I have been coming to Flower Child for the past 6 years (since I was 14 years old, Since its opening!) Flower Child was great at the beginning but it has really gone downhill. They are extremely disorganized and need to have a system for making sure the people who "pick up" their food are verified to be the actual person who paid for that food. Anyone can come in and just take people's food sitting on the counter. I had to wait 20 extra minutes for food ordered online IN ADVANCE because of their disorganization. I was not refunded or given any free coupons to the restaurant. The female workers seemed extremely fake and quite rude. If you want good customer service, GO ELSEWHERE!! Also as others have stated previously, the dishes are inconsistent. One day my wrap could be wrapped perfectly and have the right amount of ingredients and the next day it is a complete mess and tastes like something I could make better at home..

Fresh and tasty whole food with plant based options. Fairly quick service and reasonable portion sizes meant we left happy and full. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Amazing manager and staff! The food is great, I have been coming to this location for two years now and it never disappoints. Flower child is a Phoenix gem. My favorite thing to eat here are the sweet potatoes, they are delicious. The Mother Earth bowl with chicken is my favorite meal, but you could also have it with tofu if you're vegan or vegetarian.

Decided to try this place out for Arizona Restaurant week yesterday. I got the Salmon bowl and my boyfriend got the Steak plate. I was expecting it to taste similar to food from other healthy cuisine establishments, but this blew the other places out of the water. The meat was well cooked and flavorful. Everything was great; this was by far one of the best "to go" meals I've ever had.

Excellent lunch that left me satisfied but not feeling heavy. The sweet potato with chicken and broccoli was outstanding.

I enjoy Flower Child because it provides healthy options, and has an overall atmosphere of promoting healthy decisions. However, I was very disappointed to learn that this location does not require employees to wear a mask when handling food. As someone with a husband at home who is on oxygen, I am sad that I cannot visit this location if there is not a policy in place to keep patrons healthy and safe. I will not be returning unless such a policy is enacted.

Fast ordering. We choose a salad and wrap and both were very good! Fresh lettuce and crisp! Also had a chocolate pudding we shared and it was awesome. I’ll go back for sure.

I love this place. The semi cafeteria style with tons of healthy yet tasty choices has made this spot a mainstay for me in Phoenix. Their sides really are incredible (sweet corn and quinoa is my favorite) and I’ve never had a bad experience here. I’m hoping to go back tonight!

Great vibing spot for healthy dining! All staff is amazing, they have delicious lemonades and the food is so fresh and yummy! We have enjoyed a chicken wrap, mac'n'cheese (little too salty for me) and avocado toast.

Another great concept from Sam Fox. Fast casual dining with some super healthy options. Ask for separate paleo or keto menus. They can modify most orders to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Great service and food! Only small drawback is parking can be rough during busy times - located on 44th street and Camelback road.

I have been eating here for years. I have food allergies and they are accommodating every time. All of their food is fresh and the bottom line is I feel great after eating there. I recommend this place and talk about it often and will continue to do so. Thank you for being a healthy, flavorful restaurant with great customer service!

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday and even shortly after opening this location was bustling; it's easy to see why though, the chopped vegetable salad (with chicken added for protein) was one of the best salads I've had. The seasonal sangria was prickly pear and pineapple, and while I didn't pick up much of either individual flavor, it was a delicious sangria nonetheless. Highly recommend for a quick, healthy lunch option - just be prepared for lots of fellow guests and go early to snag a good spot!

My new favorite restaurant! How do they make nutritious food so delicious? $8 kids meal was a huge hit! Protein + sides. Salmon, steak, risotto, broccoli, etc. so good!

We took a party of 9 here and everyone loved their food. The food was so healthy and tasty. The kids meals were great portions and the proteins and meats were divine.

I always love coming here. The food is always fresh and comes out quickly. I had the Flying Avocado wrap this time and it was great. You order your food, they give you a number, you sit down wherever you like and they bring the food to you. Even though you don’t have a serve, there are plenty of people walking around to get you whatever you need, like napkins or hot sauce. The inside is really cute, and I love that the tables are spaced out enough that you aren’t crowded in with other other patrons. This makes it a good place to sit and work while you have lunch.

We went there after a hike, willing to eat something light and healthy, it was perfect. The food was delicious and the restaurant with a cool vibe…… love it!

Based on a half dozen meals, i have never had a bad dish here. Fresh, well seasoned, good variety. A bit expensive, lunch for 2 was $50. Bright, airy seating area. Iced tea choices are all good. Wait staff gave us plenty of time to talk.

Consistently I use the app to order ahead (one hour plus notice.) the orders are either not ready when they are supposed to be, or are ready for curbside pickup and I call and wait 15+ mins only to have to go inside and see it sitting on a shelf. Their system is vastly flawed and Sam fox should really know better! The parking lot is also a nightmare.

I absolutely love Flower Child! The food is delicious, the decor and atmosphere is amazing, however this last visit wasn’t my favorite! :/ My friend and I ordered food and unfortunately there was a bug found in her food! They were extremely apologetic, attentive and comped her meal. They even went as far to check and clean the station! Unfortunately the food industry can be so unpredictable it’s to no fault of theirs I believe, this particular location has wide open access to the outdoors! With variables like that things like this can happen understandably. I am so blown away by how kind and generous the staff was! They were really sweet about the whole incident. Thank you Flower Child!

I just wanted to write a quick review for Marco. I always see him with a good attitude and customer service every time I swing by after work. He is very personable and makes me want to eat at this branch over the others because of it. Good job man! See you next time. :)
