Good place, but hope you have 30 minutes to wait. The line can move very slowly at times and they show no urgency to move cars through the line. Lucky their products are good and people are addicted to caffeine.

The absolute worse Dutch Bros I have been to in the Valley. We had an important meeting to be at and arrived at 9:26 AM, the line was already long so we figured maybe 5-10 minutes but didn’t leave until 9:51 AM, for various reasons. 1. The young lady taking orders in the line was not focused on getting orders but more focused on petting every pet in the vehicles and extended small talk with each patron for 5 minutes each. Once she actually recognized she went to a car that pulled up after us she took our order and got it wrong once we actually got to the window. 2. The 2 young ladies at the window played with each pet in each vehicle, gave that patron their drink(s) and proceeded to ignore the extremely long line behind that car and hand feed each animal some kind of snack and then further small talk with that pet owner for another several minutes. 3. We finally got up to the window and the one young lady seemed to be either stoned or sleepy because she was not dialed in. Our order we had to repeat to her twice and then she had to have her team remake it. My wife almost spoke up and said something but I told her not to waste her breathe. Others told us before to not stop here because of this but we were in a hurry. Next time we’ll settle with Starbucks or something. We’re all for brief small talk but no full fledged 5 minute conversations, and especially when people have places to go. Unlike many other locations their is no exit lane because we would’ve pulled out long before we got our drinks,Whoever the owner is needs to have a good talk with their employees and ensure they can do brief small talk and keep it moving. Clearly these young people don’t know the difference between working & playing.

I enjoy the drinks here. And when the line is short it's totally worth it. I struggle when the line gets long because I feel there's no real order to the order taking process. So if you "choose the wrong line" you could end up sitting while someone who just drove up zooms past you. I know the employees try but it's frustrating. I also appreciate the friendliness of employees but sometimes (especially when the line is long) I don't want a whole conversation, I just want my items.

Slowest drive thru on earth. Actually a half hour wait during non-peak hours. Multiple times. Done with this place, personally. The coffee is coffee. Kinda overpriced, especially considering the wait time. Tip system is super awkward too, have to tell the attendant verbally.

Prob the longest wait time each time I come here. Never sends anyone out to take orders. 15-30 min waits everytime I come here not even worth the drink at that point. Every other location sends someone so why not this one? They have the same gear- I've seen it. Ridiculous.

Best Dutch location ever! I travel a lot for work and this is the best one around! They are always super friendly, make my coffee perfect, and fast! It makes my day when I am in town and can stop by for my usual.

Horrible staff. It shouldn't take 50 minutes to grab a coffee. Sure you have other customers, but 50 minutes!? And you pull up to the window, and the employees could care less. Might as well spit in my drink in front of my face.

Such an amazing variety of options and staff is so patient in helping you decide your choice. Also if you don't like your drink they will remake it or give you something different.

Customer service just isn’t customer service anymore. Waited 15 mins for a drink because they were doing nothing but laughing and talking. I finally spoke up because I was gonna be late to work. The only girl that I was working was young and new and didn’t know what she was doing. Someone told her she was making it wrong finally and that’s when I just decided on getting a refund because I couldn’t wait any longer !

They take forever! Waste a lot of time chit chatting with the customers at the window. I literally watched the female employee stick her head out the window and talk to the customer for 15 minutes while everyone's drinks were ready. This is not the time to have a conversation about your life story, some of us are trying to get to work!

Wayyyyyy off the freeway, but worth the drive. Cool design for the store, friendly staff, and our drinks were over the top!

Unfortunately after giving this location more than two weeks of a chance they still are the slowest coffee shop I’ve ever sat in a drive-through line for. They won’t say they are understaffed, they only say they’re hiring more and yet every time I order only an iced green tea it takes over 20 minutes. I don’t mind waiting 20 minutes if I’m sitting inside of a coffee shop but never have I thought, “ I have extra time so let me run through this drive-through really quick” it’s usually because I’m in a hurry . 10 out of 10 would not recommend this Dutch brothers location

I visited the Ahwatukee location. This was my first time having Dutch Bros. Every time I past this location the line is long. Now I understand you don’t place your order until you reach the window. I was in line for 30 minutes. At one point a young lady came out and started taking orders. A customer in front of me yelled at her because she took another car order before her and she was there first. Once I reached the window my order wasn’t ready and it wasn’t any sense of urgency. My drinks was not good and I could have gotten drinks from Quick Trip and paid less. I will not visit again.

I normally love dutch for their rebels. We recently moved to the area and were excited to be close to a dutch bros, but every time we go through the drive thru, there’s a few people, so we assume it’ll be quick. we have been waiting 30+ minutes in line, just to get our order taken because there’s no one there, the line doesn’t move at all, so that also means there’s no orders being taken at the window. me and my boyfriend usually give ourselves 30 minutes wiggle room before work to grab dutch since he works 12 hour graveyard shifts. the two times we have gone before work, he’s always late because it take over 30 minutes for someone to take our order, and even more time before pulling up to the window to get our drinks. and even then, 75% of the time our drinks are made wrong. Today at the window, after waiting already 5 minutes (and our order was taken before getting to the window) we were told they didn’t have something and if they can substitute. which i assume is they JUST started making our drinks. there’s a few people at the counter, but i saw other drinks being made and were being set beside the drive thru window before ours were being made. i may be not picking but it this experience was truly frustrating

Unfortunately Dutch is the worse drive thru coffee spot. I have had people watch me pull up and I will still get skipped. I had one girl I had to remind her that she had not taken my order she did every car around mine. I am from Washington state where we have way more options for drive up coffee and Dutch is way better ran up there than these. The wait is always around 30 min because orders are done really out of order. I try to avoid any Dutch Bros here anymore. Why have two lines if you can’t keep track of orders you took and who is first. Multiple times they literally watch me pull up and still skip. It’s super frustrating specially because it’s the only place in Az right now that has white coffee.

I lived all over the valley and been to many Dutch Bros.. this is by far the most slowest and mediocre service I've seen. If the line is backed up , plan on spending forever sitting there. Last week the line was somewhat backed up to where the drive thru lanes began. Sat there and waited 48 mins! Horrible and these folks expect a tip.

This is usually my go-to Dutch location, but I don't think I can return after today. No one was taking pre-orders in line like they normally do. Each car had to order as they arrived at the window, despite there easily being over 15 cars stuck in the line. We waited just over 45 minutes in line until we were able to order. This wasn't even on one of their sticker or discount days, just a typical afternoon in the middle of the work day. It was a very poor reflection of whichever managers were working today.

I absolutely love Dutch bros but unfortunately this is the closest location to me so it’s stopped me from really going due to it taking almost an HOUR for a drink. I really think they need to staff more people at least at this location to make the process faster like every other location. I’ve literally seen people get out of the cars just to stretch from sitting and waiting so long or people asking the cars behind them go back out so they can leave. It’s ridiculous honestly.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with Dutch Brothers. I waited exactly 30 minutes in a line I couldn’t get out of to then have people (who arrived later) pull ahead of my line. No one was outside taking orders when I originally pulled up there was 4 cars ahead of me. Over 20 in line when I was finally able to get my order, it tasted like a watered down Americano version of I don’t know what? There wasn’t very much tastes period (I ordered a blended Annihilator) no way in HELL was I going to turn back to complain I had already wasted 30 minutes 😡 my husband ordered a large blended double shot that at least tasted like coffee. The only thing that was good was the granola bar! The curly haired boy with glasses stood there speechless draping the white cleaning rag over his arm, while the girls chitchatted. The only one I saw working was a blonde boy with his hair pulled back. This was Sunday 10/08 12:24 that’s the time I entered the line 1:04 was when I finally escaped. I’m so mad I deleted your app! Update 10/10 no reply to this email

Entered two lane drive-thru to celebrate my son's birthday this morning and sat behind a red truck stopped midway through line for 10 minutes! First thought was it is a stalled vehicle?! Employee taking orders in line did not seem to notice or care?! When the truck FINALLY stared to advance in lane, I felt relief but confused?! Why have a two lane system ?!!! When I asked employee what was the issue with the truck parking midway through line for 10 mins?! She responded, 'It is a regular and he wanted the others to get their turns first.' Not trying to break any lines but a two lane system simply works without having someone STOP and PARK for 10 mins in one of the lanes‼️‼️‼️‼️Not only did the employee not address the situation she was rude to the fact I thought I was STUCK in a no exit lane behind a PARKED TRUCK‼️‼️‼️

I waited about 15 minutes as “next in line” tonight. For about 10 of those 15 minutes , the employee had her head sticking out the drive thru window chatting it up with the customer. When it was finally my turn, I was going to bite my tongue. But then, after making me sit there and watch her chat it up for 15 minutes, and a few of those minutes were after she had already given the customer their drinks, she has the nerve to ask me if I’d like to leave a tip!?!?!? I told her she owed me a tip after making me wait that long. Then she tells me “there’s only one worker making drinks”. So there’s only one working but you have 15 minutes to chat with customers while the line grows and grows. Start helping!!

Long wait time. There's busy time frame everyday with phx growing. This ridiculous of wait time. The order system should've been here by now with the way Dutch bro grown. Time is charging.

Dutch Bros is a highly branded coffee/drink experience. The employees really make the experience by being high-energy and incredibly personable. They'll ask how you're doing, if you have any fun plans, etc. We've gotten to know a few of the employees pretty well since we order there so often! You can also order sodas with any flavors (including coconut milk).

WE go to this location all of the time. Their drinks are, though very high in sugar, is not bad. The staff are very pleasant and at times can be a bit intrusive. However, I love the fact that DB hires college students and pays for their tuition, so I would support them all the more by frequenting their locations.

I love this place been going there since you opened it up I always tell people if you plan on being anywhere anytime soon don't go through the line. I enjoy talking amongst whoever I'm with in the car while waiting for my drink. Always good customer service and when I'm not happy with the drink I just let them know and it's on you guys. Keep on doing what you're doing kids. Those that are unhappy are having a bad day and shouldn't be out in public.

Always friendly, always very busy, but the lines move quickly and they provide great service. I only go here once in a while though because $8/coffee is hard to dole out on a teacher salary...

  • 1/5 Stirling 1 year ago on Google
DON'T. Overpriced, especially for drinks that taste mostly of sugar and no other flavors asked for, including coffee. No coffee in my coffee at a place that essentially only serves coffee. Atmosphere was loud and like ordering at a tiny NASCAR track.

If I could give 0 stars I would. 530 in the morning one car ahead of me and it took over 10 minutes before I could pull up and order. This car was already there before I got there. I live close by and have only been at this Dutch 4 times! Why? Because everytime the service is so slow!!! On top of that my hot coffee was not hot!! I had to go home and microwave it. Why I I gave it another chance beats me.

Awatukee Foothills store opening today with dollar drinks all day! They were busy busy busy but we were in and out in less than 15 minutes with 8 drinks! The staff was amazing....can everyone say awesome customer service!!! SO much so that I wIll definitely be bringing back my family to this location!

Good coffee/desert drinks. The tipping pressure game is real. What happened to the days where good service was rewarded. It's expectation to tip for an already costly drink to just place my order leaves many uncomfortable and at odds with how to address that pressure. This is a commonly expressed feeling from even the devout sticker collecting Dutch Bros patrons.

I can’t say enough about Dutch Bros. As a diabetic it’s really nice to have so many sugar free options available than just Vanilla, Carmel and hazelnut at the other popular coffee place. Dutch bros is definitely an experience you should let yourself try if you haven’t already.

  • 5/5 Beatriz R. 1 year ago on Google
Love this place! Although it is pricey compared to Dunkin, it has better customer service and the drinks taste amazing. The drink I usually get is the Bob Marley which has a mix of chocolate, banana, and coffee as well as the Bananay which is coffee with banana 👌😁. I get them both as a Dutch freeze but there are options fo iced , hot, or frozen.
