Not often do you find reviews that are consistently superb... this is an exception, clearly. With 200+ reviews at an average of 4.7 stars!! So critical that you notice their knack for making some really good, high quality food at a very quick pace. The service is very down home family, and it’s great. The food is soooo good and tasty, fresh! My recommendation: Chicken Teriyaki plate w/ salad All white meat is 75 cents extra 8 bucks, plus 2 tip . That equals just $10 for a splendid meal!!

Today, I ordered 4 dishes from Blue Fin. Tonkatsu, Beef Teriyaki, Teriyaki Tofu and Yakisoba noodles with tofu. I've had the Teriyaki tofu before and the tofu was nicely seasoned and fried. Today, the tofu wasn't cooked or seasoned and served over plain, white rice. Bland on top of bland. The yakisoba had noodles that were boiled and placed in the bowl, unseasoned, topped with unseasoned vegetables and uncooked, unseasoned tofu. The menu shows yakisoba with nicely cooked and seasoned noodles. The dish I received looked nothing like the picture on the menu. I've had yakisoba before and this was nothing like the yakisoba I've had in the past. I ended up putting some sesame oil and soy sauce on it at home so that I didn't waste money, but words can not begin to express my disappointment.

The Panko Fish Plate here was so delicious! I highly recommend it if you are looking for take out in the area. They do have tables where you can dine in. Also a drive-thru window if you want to stay in your car.

My family and I used to go to BlueFin all the time and it was always so flavorful and delicious. I recently had it again for the first time in years and was utterly disappointed. The tofu had no flavor and wasn’t even cooked. They just chopped it up and poured a little sauce over it and dumped it on some plain white rice which also had no flavor. They used to fry the tofu and it had wonderful texture and flavor. Really disappointed it’s not as good as I remember. Don’t think I will be going back anytime soon unfortunately

Such a yummy fast option! We go every time we go to the library downtown. I get the chicken katsu with curry sauce. Any fans of coco ichibanya will love it.

The food here is awesome! The panko fish so light and crunchy delicious. The teriyaki beef or chicken with brown rice fabulous. Friendliest service. Oh &don't forget dessert. Almond cookies or ice cream plus more. Give it a try! You won't be sorry 😋

The staff is fantastic: very nice, helpful, and the women who run it are there every day. Food is good and reasonably priced. Definitely a great lunch option. Not a lot of seating inside. I keep going back for lunch because it is fast and easy, and the staff is the best.

We first visited when it opened, over 40 years ago as a young couple dating. 42 years of marriage later, we drove by and it was still open. The food continues to be great, and that young child that was at the resturant is now running the place. Wonderful memories and great healthy food.

Same owners. Same amazing food and fast service. Use to come here often 20 years ago when I was in my teens. The prices aren’t that different and they’ve kept it super affordable for the quality of food. I enjoy the tofu avocado salad and chicken fried rice.

A quick dine in or drive -thru, I've gone to Blue Fin for years. Service is on spot, and it is easy to call in the order for Drive thru pick up. Get a teriyaki bowl with broccoli, very tasty pork egg rolls, and don't miss the crab and avocado salad, get an extra dressing, delicious!!

I’m sorry, but no. Salad dressing was a weird substance, think apple sauce. Wasn’t very good. Tasted like gravy. But on to the yakisoba. Chicken tasted good. Noodles were plain spaghetti noodles, cooked in nothing. Just plain. Not very good at all

Wow...Ive been passing by this place almost everyday and was iffy even though they get a lot of business . I am a super picky eater. But tbh this place exceeded my expectations. I ordered the spicy tuna rolls, and a chicken teriyaki bowl. Both were amazing even though the tuna roll was very spicy haha . Also the lady that work in front i didnt get her name but i came in around 11am . Anywho she was very nice.

The food is delicious!! Their prices are reasonable. The service is exceptional!! Fast but great tasting and the workers are very nice. The restaurant is clean, usually I’m hesitant about eating out at small restaurants but you know it’s always those small restaurants that serve thy best food !! All in all great place to eat, and it’s close to the Barton Barr library

Dang good curry house! Honestly, that curry chicken is dope as hell. Salmon platter is also great. Went in on a mid-afternoon on a Tuesday. Not too busy but their online was popping off. Food still came out quick, staff brought it out.

What a gem of a Japanese restaurant. Reminds of fun times eating in bento places in Japan. The owners are really nice as well and we often compare stories of times in Okinawa and Hawaii. I just wish they were open on the weekends.

I love this place! I've been coming here since the early 2000, and still going here for lunch, this restaurant has been run by family that has been quite successful in the Phoenix area, Super friendly staff, the place has seating inside and outside in case you want to enjoy the Phoenix weather, Overall I give this place a 5 star cause it's one of my favorite! :) :)

Lovely casual restaurant with delicious food. Great portions for the price with better flavor than many much more expensive restaurants in Phoenix. The workers are super sweet and even collect cans and bottles to donate money to the local shelter! :)

One of my favorite places to get a quick bite to eat. The food is good and great prices. The Japanese Curry bowl is my go to. But I have tried lots of other things and you just can't go wrong here.

Great food and at a great price! I eat here regularly; I love the pork katsu plate, panko crusted anything (especially the fish), cucumber side salad, wakame side salad, ginger salad dressing, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, salmon plate, and so much more. Every time I need to feed an office of 50 with less than ideal, Blue Fin has had my back. I commend the friendly staff with a high tolerance for unpleasant customers. The owner is a cool highly-intelligent chick who loves and gives back to the community on the regular.
