The Oink Cafe is a must try if you are traveling through Phoenix, Arizona! It is located on Paradise Valley. A definite must try is the Spinach Salad with the bacon vinaigrette, mac and cheese, as well as the Bacon Flight! Everything was absolutely delicious! The bacon plate was fabulous! My favorite bacon was the Apple Cider! Yummy!! A plus for some….outdoor seating only you may bring your canine!

Holy Bacon Heaven!! Yum! We walked in and it was not super busy but busy enough. The waitress came up and sat us super quick, she wasn’t overly friendly but hey I’ve been there in my younger days working food service so it didn’t bother me at all as I get being busy. Our server was fantastic, super attentive, on top of everything but not like some servers who are super annoying. She hit the mark just right with stopping by to check if we were okay and if we needed anything. Ordered biscuits and gravy with 2 sunny side up eggs, bacon Benedict sub muffin for tomato both plates had home fries, side of sausage and side of French toast. A hot coffee and iced coffee. We wanted to try out the menu since our first time there. Food took just a smidge longer to come out than I would like but it was worth it! Daughter raved and loved the biscuits and gravy said it was steaming hot and couldn’t get enough of the iced coffee. My food was awesome as well just a touch cold on the eggs but tasted amazing and everything else was top notch! We will definitely be back for sure!

This is a delicious place to eat. Especially if you are a bacon 🥓 lover. They have several flavors of bacon. I don’t eat pork so I could try them but they smelled enticing. The homemade biscuits were Amazing, I stuffed myself with them. Try it with honey. The seating was comfortable and the booths were separated by plexiglass. The help was very slow, Tami was nice but it took her a long time to even ask if we wanted something to drink. We sat there for over ten minutes after the table was cleared to get our check. Go here for the food not the service. The place was busy because the food was yummy 🤤

First time here. Wow, I am super pressed with Oink! That was a wonderful meal. 😊 I've never heard of a "flight of bacon" .... it was fantastic. I liked all 9 flavors of bacon 🥓. The apple cider and jalapeño bacon were my favorites. I ordered a pork confit omelet that was amazing. My gluten eating husband and had biscuits and gravy and topped if of with a maple bacon donut. While I didn't try those, the both sure loots great. This is a must try place if you're in the Phoenix area.

I’m just curious why the owners or somebody doesn’t reply back to the negative response.? Makes me wonder if they really even care.. I wanted to go there this morning, but after reading the negative reviews, and seeing that, no one has even bothered to reach out to these people makes me not want to go because I don’t want to have a bad experience. You may think you have the best food, the best service, but if Gordon Ramsay was a show up, what kind of service would he get? After all, I’m just some Joe Blow…. And my time is precious and if I got to sit around 10 minutes or more and then wait one hour to get food, it’s not worth my time that’s an hour and 15 minutes I can never get back Especially if it went bad, From business owner to business owner, I would think you would do a little better

Came here for breakfast as someone suggested. Instantly greeted by friendly staff and quick service. I went with a simple 2 eggs plus breakfast which was good. Unfortunately my toast was a little burnt and could definitely taste it, but minor details. I like that they have many different types of bacon flavors, jalapeño bacon was worth it. I would definitely come back and try a few other things, as I saw a lot of nice looking plates coming out of the kitchen.

This place strives to do it all right. The bacon cake donut was everyone’s favorite. They do have gf dedicated toasters and such to avoid cross contamination too. The verde Bloody Mary was one not to miss—so refreshing and just everything. All were happy with the service and the meals, though we did have stomach aches later.

Had a good first time experience. I thought it was a cafe but ended up being more like a diner, I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it was. Hickory Bacon Benedict was good. The proportions were good, the right amount of hashbrowns, sauce, bacon etc. Staff was friendly, place was clean but old and a little tired looking. Menu was large, I'd come back to try more. A+ on the fun signage and restaurant name ;)

Great ambiance and service. Food was bad on my end. Bacon wasn’t anything to write home about. The photo of my breakfast sandwich is rather embarrassing if you call yourself a chef imo.

Big menu of bacon-y flavors and salty sweetness! Surprisingly not as heavy as you'd think but definitely filling.

Picture this, I’m sitting next to my girlfriend, and the waitress comes over to take our order “I’ll have the regular stack of cheesecake pancakes”I tell her. She raises an eyebrow, but lets me order. I’m 6’3, does she not think i’ll be able to finish my pancakes? For 14 dollars I plan to eat every single bite. Yea the pancakes were huge I ate like two definitely worth the price. Took the rest home, it was breakfast for the next 3 days

Im giving this place a solid 3 because 3/5 times I was there is was great. The other two times I went by myself and was neglected. Server never came by and I had to go to the front to get a box and my check. Suggest if you go to this place just bring someone, they seem to not care about you if your by yourself..

This restaurant was really cool to go with my family they extended our table for our big party and made sure everyone got a welcoming and the correct food. Many food options and different types of Bacon. The Pancakes were to die for. Very clean place and had really cool decorations. Left really good first impression and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend to anyone nearby.

Title: An Unforgettable Porcine Delicacy at Oink Cafe! I recently had the absolute pleasure of dining at the Oink Cafe, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of a gastronomic delight! Their highly acclaimed pork confit omelette, bacon flight, and cucumber mule were the stars of the show, and they absolutely lived up to their reputation. Starting with the pork confit omelette, it was a symphony of flavors and textures. The pork was cooked to perfection, melting in my mouth with a tender succulence that can only be achieved through the meticulous process of confit. The eggs were fluffy, and the combination of cheese and herbs added a richness and depth of flavor that had me savoring each bite. The presentation was also top-notch, making it not just a meal, but a true culinary experience. Next, the bacon flight. Now, I’ve had my fair share of bacon in my time, but this was a game-changer. A selection of different styles and flavors, each piece was crispy, mouthwatering, and packed with flavor. It was a bacon lover's dream come true. From the classic smoky to the avant-garde maple flavored, each variety was a delight to taste. Lastly, the cucumber mule was the perfect refreshing accompaniment to the rich, savory dishes. This cocktail was a beautiful blend of crisp cucumber, tangy lime, and a good kick of ginger. It was served in a traditional copper mug, staying icy cold till the last sip. It was the perfect palate cleanser and a delightful drink to sip on. The service at Oink Cafe was also commendable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering suggestions and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. In conclusion, the Oink Cafe is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates high-quality, innovative, and delicious pork dishes. Their unique offerings like the pork confit omelette and bacon flight, coupled with their refreshing cucumber mule, make for an unforgettable dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their enticing menu. Five stars all the way!

It was really early and we sat down. The server brought us our menus and took our drink orders. The tropical unsweetened tea with lemon was really good. They make everything on the menu so I ordered the Oink burger w/ frys. It was really good. My sister had French toast, eggs and pepper bacon. Very good!!

Food was tasty, breakfast nachos are definitely enough for 2 to share. Breakfast potatoes we a little over cooked, but fine if you prefer crispy potatoes.

Another Rip Off (but nice wait staff) We decided to try this place for a late breakfast. We both ordered the French Toast combo and a "flight" of bacon. The French Toast we selected was not the "Oink" version but the standard recipe. The combo comes with one egg (really??) and meat, but they allowed us to "substitute" another egg in lieu of the meat that would normally come with the combo. So basically, we each had two slices of French Toast with two eggs and some bacon from the flight. Neither of us ordered anything to drink - just water. The French toast was described as "thick, Texas toast" type of bread, but it really wasn't any thicker than regular bread. The taste was OK - nothing better than what I could have made at home. The bacon was chewy and all of the flavors basically tasted similar. I will say that we were seated immediately, and the restaurant staff was very courteous and attentive. The cost for this mediocre meal? $51 + $10 tip. Wow - never again! We could have gone to Butters or Butterfield's and had a delicious and very large breakfast for this price. Better yet - Waffle House for half the cost:)

Jimmy and I have been wanting to try this place for years. Finally today was the day..restaurant is very inviting and trendy. Bathrooms are nice and clean. Waitress was warm friendly and answered all our questions. I am torn on this review, because Jimmy ordered one of their more popular dishes the Chimichanga and it was phenomenal, his hash browns were cooked perfectly and the Chimi was packed with flavor. I ordered an American classic 1/2 club sandwich with soup of the day, which was Chicken Tortilla. As a Chef i know how difficult soups can be. Its a constant tasting & balancing act from stsrt to finish. I was stoked with anticipation of a soup created by a highly rated bacon restaurant. 🥓 Unfortunately the soup was not palette pleasing, far from your traditional Tortilla soup. Actually had a tin can flavor to it and had no balance of flavor to be found,.after balancing the flavor of the soup with the condiments on the table; Tabasco sauce, ketup, pinch of sugar, salt & pepper, I still could not get past the dry grainy texture of the chicken chunks in the soup. The club sandwich, I suppose I was expecting those classic triangles filled with high quality cuts of Meats and crispy bacon 🥓 ( I chose the honey bacon and white bread for my club sandwich) the bread was under toasted, bacon was not cooked fully enough to the fat rendered stage, honey flavor I had hoped for could not be found. It was difficult to eat with the lettuce and tomatoes jockying for leaving the sandwich first. There were holes in the bread and mayo was squeezing out with each bite I tried to take. Ham & turkey were very basic and not high quality cuts of meat. I was 4 bites in and done, I will definitely need to get another lunch somewhere else. We simply had to try the maple bacon donut 🍩 it was good, cooked perfectly, bacon was cruchy and delicious. but not a donut I will be craving anytime soon. 😋 but I do recommend you give it a try, but at $3.99 each you may want to just try the donut holes instead. Final decision we will definitely be back, simply because of the staff and cleanliness of the restaurant and Jimmy's dish was delicious. I will not wonder off into soup & sandwich land and try to stick with their more popular dishes. 😋

Get the Bloody Mary flight. I ended up enjoying the Bloody Maria the most but the verde Mary was really refreshing. Also, the breakfast nachos with confit pork were delicious. Eat it fast before your chips get soft. Overall, not the fanciest brunch spot but the service, people and eats were outstanding.

Not as high quality as expected from the reviews, hash browns were oily and the breakfast sandwich little better than McD, the only thing good about the place is nice people serving (who have to run around) and the bacon.

  • 5/5 Scott S. 2 years ago on Google
You can't go wrong with a flight of bacon and a Bloody Mary. Eight pieces of bacon, multiple flavored is the best way to start the day. Another slice in a spicy Bloody Mary seems like pork overload, but it was just so good. We also had avocado toast (with balsamic drizzle) on a multigrain bread that was so fantastic. The service was friendly and quick. The coffee was delicious. We will be back.

The service was the best. Dallas was very energetic and gave us really good recommendations for what to order. French toast and strawberry shortcake pancakes were the best we have had in a long time.

Great all around breakfast spot! The bacon flight is great, though I usually just get a half flight of their candied bacon which is so f'n fantastic. All the food has been on point every time.

I've had good experiences here in the past, but my fiance and I just dropped in for a bloody Mary and a quick bite. We were sitting at one of the little tables in a middle aisle. Literally, we were right in the center of everything. Several servers walked past us multiple times and other tables were set and received drinks. After 8 minutes and no one coming to talk to us, we just got up and left. When we walked past the host, he just simply said, " Thanks for coming in." I guess it didn't cross his mind that we had been sat about 10 minutes ago and we're already leaving. He didn't ask any questions.

Love the atmosphere very welcoming and the staff has wonderful diversity. Both indoor and outdoor seating for you to enjoy, Very family friendly. This is probably the best spot in town if you are a bacon lover. So many choices it will be hard to have the same thing twice unless, of course, you find a favorite and just stick with it as I do. Go check it out if you are craving some of the finest bacon around. While you're there make sure you color a pig to put on the wall.

This place is extremely dog friendly with a separate dog menu. Our server, Dallas, was so friendly and made us feel most welcome. They have a wide variety of items on their menu and can make a lot of adjustments if needed, like if you’re gluten free, etc. I’m so glad this place is in our neighborhood and look forward to coming back.

I had not been here in over 10 years and will not return. We entered, and the hostess just stared at us until I said, "two please". We waited almost 10 minutes to be seated even though I noticed a few available tables. The hostess finally sat us but didn't say anything. Later, I noticed her being quite nice and friendly to other customers she seated. Waited an extended time to receive our meals. Both meals were cold and overall completely unsatisfactory. The waitress never came back until much later, so we could not let her know the quality of the food was subpar. Plus, it was very overpriced. It was not a good experience overall.

The food were visually nice, but not that tasty. Toasts were dry and hard. Pigs in blanket was bland. Orange juice was not fresh. The hazelnut coffee was nice.

Our first time here but will certainly be back again. The flight of bacon was a great start to an even better breakfast. Would highly recommend the Paradise Valley omelet. I would also like to mention the great service we received from Chelsea. The place was very busy, she checked on us several times and was very pleasant. Thank you for a great dining experience.

Yummy!! Excellent service and excellent food. The French Toast was cooked perfectly, the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly and looked beautiful on the plate and the sourdough bread is really good. This is our first time to the greater Phoenix area and we're super happy to have found this restaurant. We'll be back for sure before we leave town.

The food is really good. The Applewood smoked Bacon and the Sausage links are very tasty. French toast is good and so was my Omelet. Staff is very friendly.
