I was unsure of what I wanted this morning when William himself greeted me and asked me what I was looking for. He made this special treat- not on the menu but especially for me. It’s just as amazing as it looks! The people are warm and friendly and everything is fresh! It reminds me of coffee places I frequented while living in London. Quaint with great quality!

Williams Coffee in North Phoenix is our favorite coffee spot! Not only is the coffee smooth, the food is incredibly delicious. From pastries to salads, it’s all made from scratch by a French chef. You MUST try it!

This little gem is tucked away just off the I17 and Carefree highway. If you haven’t tried their delicious coffee and pastries, your life is missing a treat! I just enjoyed the almond rose latte 👌🏽 And I can say that the pastries taste like love and love 😋 Support small business and I promise you will adore this place. Also, the service from the staff and owner is beyond exceptional. My new fav coffee place 🤍

Was charged over 13 dollars for small pastry and large breve latte. The large is actually very small. Cup is tiny, the size of Starbucks small, nothing bigger. Even though small, latte was fairly weak tasting, pastry was so, so. It had a gummy texture, not buttery or flaky. Did not like. Avoid, this place. Outrageous. PS Checked the Yelp reviews for Williams and found over 100 five star reviews and only 4 or 5 critical ones. Yelp had also flagged 23 very positive, gushing reviews as "not recommended". Strange, something does not look right here. Are some reviews fake?

Highly recommend this place, offering organic/ natural with no artificial flavors or chemicals. Homemade drinks and food, I feed my girls and I all organic, we make things from scratch this was right up our alley, and honestly our SAVIOR as we hadn’t found anything yet. Staff is friendly and sparkly and the owner is sweet, introduces himself, as a business owner should. Very present. We will be back !!!

Michael Jordan has missed a shot. Gordon Ramsay has burnt an egg. Even Michelangelo has used an eraser. I ordered a pumpkin spiced latte iced (perhaps this is where I faltered). It was rough like I imagine cigarettes to be and it was lacking the flavor that this gent desired in a fall spiced offering. Based upon the prior reviews and the ambiance of the establishment, I knew something was amiss. Being a purveyor of coffee and a supporter of small businesses, I requested a mulligan to properly assert my understanding. This time, I requested the same basic brew hot. It was the most well-constructed, artisanal, procured cup of joe I have ever had. The milk and coffee blended together like silk and the flavors intertwined and erupted upon my tongue. Two or more ingredients came together to combine, but they went down as one single unit. A tour de force aimed at debasing Starbucks. I was even educated on bean extraction and selection. Essentially schooled on everything I know about coffee. To further my discovery, unbeknownst to me, the gentleman that had so carefully and cautiously constructed my coffee was the man emblazoned on the outcropping. This man thanked me for my courage to express my dislike and vowed to clearly make a coffee that erased my ineptitude. Who was this man? William himself. To quote Jackie Chan, “Coffee is a language itself.” William too speaks this language.

Pastries are good and the employees are nice, but the coffee is outright terrible. As a barista of 4 years it really isn’t hard to educate yourself on how to make good coffee. I’ve visited this place numerous times and the flavored lattes have no flavor other than weak, bitter coffee. Please either educate and retrain your baristas or hire new ones that have experience.

Delightful cafe with a sweet little patio area (pet friendly)! European vibes. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I really enjoyed the croissant breakfast sandwich with a side of tomato soup. My sister got the grilled cheese, which was not traditional American style, but was nonetheless delicious. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for a leisurely morning or early afternoon.

As soon as I walked in for to go coffee…I want to sit and stay! Greeted warmly by William himself in an atmosphere that is comfortable and welcoming. Food and pastries are made from scratch, staff is friendly and smiling, music is lofi and at just the right volume. This is a small business done right with the customer in mind. Oh, coffee is fabulous!!!!!!! You must stop in for the experience Williams has to offer, you won’t be disappointed.

Old school coffee shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff, lots of unique offerings, and fresh pastries. Slow down. Skip the trendy drive-thru and enjoy a rich, flavorful coffee that beats those big name stores. Tried the affogiatto with salted caramel Gelato - made local in Tempe - and swiped the last lemon "pop tart" from the case. We will definitely be back.

Weak coffee. No lids. I went in there with my seven year old daughter to pick up coffee for my myself and my friend that we were meeting at the park so I needed the coffee’s to go. Went to get a lid and there was a note where the lids would have been saying, “out of lids”. It would have been nice to have been told there were no lids knowing I wasn’t staying there. Lucky, I was able to get where I was going without spilling weak over priced coffee all over my car. First and last time.

Had a really lovely time visiting friends at William’s Coffee. They didn’t have chocolate milk on their menu but they made it special for my daughter. The Chef was out and we didn’t get to try the avocado toast so we had some pastries instead. They were out of straws, someone had stolen them. I’m sure they have more by now. We sat outside, there is a nice patio area but table umbrellas are needed because it isn’t covered. I had a small black americano, I think… I mean that’s what I ordered but it tasted more like an espresso because it was strong. 10/10

Stopping in on the way through, William's Coffee Co. seemed like the best bet in this locale. I was correct. The atmosphere is bustling with the smell of roasted coffee, pastries, and beautiful people enjoying the morning. A Mid Mod touch catches the attention as the minimalistic shop is subtle in its true elegance. Not over done, and nothing left to be desired. The coffee is worth the trip, the atmosphere and service are worth staying. Well done William.

Found little coffee shop while driving by. Coffee was pretty good, But what made me leave this review was the pastries. OH MY GOD!!! They are the best. I’m glad this place is far from my house because I would eat their pasties breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Glad I stopped in! William recommended a Persian mocha which was one of the best iced mochas I’ve ever had. They even threw in a free pastry that was amazing. They also have a great book section where they sell various books; LOVE that.

Loved their honey lavender latte! The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to relax and bring my laptop to work for a while. I like how they roast their own coffee and bake everything on site. Delicious!

I wanted to try a local place as I’ll be giving more locally owned businesses my money from now on, and this place hit the spot. The atmosphere is cozy and charming, the people are very nice and welcoming. I ordered an iced latte with mocha and oat milk and it was phenomenal, better than probably any espresso I’ve had to date. I definitely will be coming back.

We were returning home and needed a pastry and a hot chocolate for breakfast. We googled this cute coffee shop on our route. It was fantastic. The pastries were amazing, I mean really amazing. We asked for our chocolate dark and they did not disappoint. We live 10 hours away, but will stop each time we are in the area.

Let’s start with the latte - it was very bitter and the milk was not foamed correctly. I threw it away. The food was mediocre, muffin was not warmed and was generally bland. Staff was a bit standoff-ish/not friendly, they all clearly didn’t want to be awake at 9:30 am. Tables were not clean. Overall, go to the Albertsons for a pastry and the Starbucks for better coffee.

We stopped on the way out of town, after picking up someone at the airport. This is a very cute little coffee shop. We did not get any pastries but they looked amazing and had real butter, cream, and milk ib the fridge which makes me think they (the pastries) would be divine. The coffee was very good. We got a breve cappuccino, breve latte and regular latte with vanilla syrup. The vanilla latte was amazing, the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness (not too sweet). One of the best flavored drinks I have tried in years. The service was great, we really enjoyed the barista who made our drinks (and her hat 😉).
