Nice spot to sit to myself reading and enjoying a boozy macchiato. Lots of patio seating.. for non-summertime weather. I didn't even know about the speakeasy in back (Gin & Reel) until customers came in asking about opening time. I guess a password is released on Instagram and you use it to go through the phone booth in back... can't wait to come back and check it out!

Had an amazing productive night at The Stir. I started the evening at their speakeasy. I had 3 different cocktails which were delicious cant say I had anything bad to say about any of them both Adam & David attended me and were very attentive definitely made my time at speakeasy delightful. They were kind enough to allow me to use my laptop and still be productive.I later then proceeded to the lobby since I needed a connection to charge my laptop and Tatum made me the most delicious sandwich accompanied by a very well balanced salad. Fantastic coffee and super chill vibes. Customer service was off the chain. I ordered my basic coffee (iced coffee with sugar free caramel and vanilla with a splash of coconut milk) she knew I wasn’t a fan of the drink. I explained it’s not her fault, I’m trying to get used to drinking a “healthier” coffee and that I was good. She asked if she can make me another coffee but this time completely up to her. Let me tell you, I am blown away with the cup she brought back. Iced coffee with sugar free chocolate and Caramel with oat milk and cinnamon. I would’ve never ordered this drink on my own. I am soo happy! This will be my new norm and this should be a normal menu drink option! Thank you!

I believe it's one of the owners we were helped by today. I use the term "help" kinda loosely, here as it seemed like she wasn't wanting to serve us. Unfortunately, if this individual is the one setting the example for customer service there, I can see the reason behind some of the lower reviews we see. However, I will say the atmosphere is otherwise mellow and the espresso is robust, so those are the positives to our visit. We didn't hate the place. But we didn't necessarily like it. Knowledge of how to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, as well as know-how when it comes to making coffee beverages would improve the experience. The product is decent, the ambiance, apart from her, is chill. And that's all I can say about it.

The hidden bar Speak easy Was so much fun

Super fun place to sit and hang out. All the staff were super friendly and made excellent recommendations. Most drinks here are $13+ and they have non-dairy milk. They have a hidden speakeasy too with a very unique entrance. Parking was not an issue for me because I went during the afternoon on a weekday, but I could see parking being an absolute nightmare on a Friday night or weekend.

Yuck, yuck, and yuck again. My daughter and I ordered avocado toast here and it was obvious she used old avocado. It was dark green and nasty. Looked like something out of my granddaughters diaper. That’s just not ok. The barista was kind of snotty too. It was clean. I’ll give it that much.

I highly recommend this coffee bar. You will enjoy the “experience “ It well decorated, speakeasy style. You will need to find a “password “ in order to get to the secret bar area. Really great cocktails. Friendly and professional staff. I liked the food we ordered. I would give it 5 stars if the will slightly increase the portion of the melted Brie cheese. We had a lady’s night out. I will bring more friends soon so they can experience this great place !

Worse costumer service ever!! I ordered an avocado toast and the avocado was super dark because it was from a day before. I asked to change my avocado toast for a bagel. They gave me the bagel which costs $4,50 and did not return the money diference from the avocado toast that I never had, which was $10. I asked for the price adjust and the girl said that she could not do it because I was the one who didn’t want the avocado toast. I asked for her name and she said she wouldn’t give me her name. After that I said the they just lost a customer with their attitude and the girl said “ok”. I’ll NEVER come back to this place again! I feel sorry for the owner. Such rude, employees!!! So disappointed!!!! This bad experience happened on Tuesday 8/31/21 around 10:30am.

This place offers everything you expect from a good coffee shop: skilled and friendly staff, superb coffee, and a fantastic ambiance. Everyone that works there is warm-hearted and has always been so pleasant. This shop has been my go-to for the past two years now.

Love this place .. gotta be the best place in the city to hang out and chill, especially if you’re studying the staff are all some of the most chill people I’ve ever met in my life, they’re all super nice and caring and kinda feel like your best friends. Its a super good place for teens and college students to sit and chill that’s for sure. the food is a bit mediocre but naturally most people don’t go to coffee places for food. They have pastries and ice cream that are both super yummy, so there’s always that if ya want it :) they serve as good snacks but not quite a meal or a restaurant Overall I’m in love with this place. Phoenix is kinda hard to find good places to just hang out but this place is truly a gem

Absolutely wonderful place. It's very modern, their sandwiches (turkey California club) was fire, and their coffee is a solid 10 out of 10.

Great coffee shop for working. Plenty of seats and plugs. Music is a little loud but great vibe. And the coffees great.

The chai was a little more milk and less spices but still really good. I wish America would make real chai enough Americans order it I think

Very disappointed in this cute coffee shop. The workers talked about work drama behind the bar letting me stand at the cashier waiting to order for 5 minutes before someone helped me. They then proceeded to loudly discuss work drama, personal lives, continually cuss and drop f bombs, and sing loudly for the next hour. Definitely not somewhere I want to go do work or homework.

It was a great experience and a must try. Drinks are pricey but nice and strong.

Nice coffee spot on high Street, easy and pretty decent drinks. Not many variety or options for food but overall nice place too enjoy a coffee and sit outside.

I did not order food. Cocktail was amazing. Very good. The beer was a craft and they weren't to found of it, tasted more like a glass of juice than beer.

During my visit, I opted for their seasonal specialty, the Smores Latte on ice, and it was an absolute treat. The flavors were delightful, and I regret not ordering a larger size to savor more of it. Excited to return and explore more of their coffee offerings – a definite must-visit for coffee enthusiasts!

Amazing coffee, good food and the best staff and people in the biz. It has the “Cheers” vibe where everyone knows your name at a cool vibe coffee spot, oh and the speak easy 20’s bar, spot on! Enjoy!

delicious avocado toast and iced americano. also had a delicious hot chocolate. service was friendly with a great atmosphere. a wonderful place to sit with someone and have a good conversation.

Seriously some of the best coffee I’ve had in a while!! I ordered just a typical iced caramel macchiato and it was an incredible balance of sweetness and coffee! Definitely coming back when we’re in the area again!

The coffee is disgusting. I ordered a large cappuccino with flavoring, recieved a small cap. So they remade it in a large cup and received less than an inch of coffee, still no flavoring added.The rest of the cup was filled with foam. Don't waste your money here.

Underwhelming and expensive for resulting product. Brought my granddaughters here for breakfast/coffee. Out of ice creams for some shakes. The birthday cake which was my granddaughter’s second choice (out of strawberry) looked like it had freezer burn. So settled on vanilla. Avocado toast on cheap wheat bread but just like a spread not fresh avocado. Sign says nine grain bread. Pretty flavorless and embarrassed to have brought my sweet granddaughters here and spent over $40 for an inferior breakfast/coffee. Coffee is just blah. Will not be back.

I thought this place was so adorable and a great vibe inside. There is a cool speak-easy bar in the back that had a cool secret entrance, which seems like a great place to have a nice drink. Check it out!

Great coffee! Had a phone in the back that was very convenient for making long distance calls. Was told it could get busy on the weekend so they recommend making a reservation. I heard the great bambino goes here often.

I'll be honest, never had alcoholic coffee before this place. It was wonderful. Very casual atmosphere and the drinks were great. Friends and I had a great time. Spent a solid hour inside.

Understaffed, unstocked, and over priced! Was there Friday morning around 11am. One person on staff. She moved super slow, and didn't even acknowledge me for 5+ straight minutes of me standing by the counter. I ordered a cappuccino and an avocado toast, which apparently they were out of eggs AND avocado 😑. The regular size cappuccino cost $6.24. And a third of the cup was FOAM. Avoid this place at all cost. I had traveled all night from out of state and needed coffee and was too tired to go elsewhere but if it wasn't the case, I'd have left 2 minutes in.

Super tasty iced matcha and iced coffee lattes. I stopped here to get out of the heat and cool down and love the local vibe in here. Vegan options !
