Treated the wife to her birthday dinner. We tried Ocean 44 not long ago and absolutely loved it. So we chose Steak 44 tonight and it was nothing short of perfect. Everything from our cold drinks, to our bomb appetizers, to the perfect Steak and lobster tails, every detail of this dinner was absolute perfection. They surprised her by giving a dessert of her choice for free. Staff was always on top of everything, very hospitable and friendly. Linen, utensils, and glasses were clean. Definitely going back.

This was honestly one of the best, if not the best, dining experience I’ve ever had. My husband and I went here for dinner for our 1st anniversary and were greeted with a card wishing us a happy anniversary as soon as we were seated. Our server was very nice and informative about the menu, giving us suggestions when we weren’t sure what to order. Our food came out quickly and was AMAZING! They also gave us a delicious complimentary dessert and even wrote “Happy 1st Anniversary” which we thought was incredibly nice and totally made our night. We definitely recommend Steak 44 and can’t wait to come back!

This place is amazing……. We arrived early so our table wasn’t quite ready. We say at the bar and had a couple drinks…..I had a peach flavored martini and it was great…..$20 but it was well worth it……we had enough to share throughout the meal! The service was great!!! Our waiter was informative and attentive. He took his time explaining many menu options that were recommended and answered our questions with ease. We didn’t feel rushed or pressured even though we were one of the Kay reservations for the evening. The meal was amazing….. best steak I’ve EVER had!!!!! We had a fillet mignon and a New York Strip both cooked to medium……. Flavorful, moist, tender!!!!! We had the hassle back potatoes, corn creme Brûlée, crispy shrimp, and yeast dinner rolls……the manager gave us two desserts on the house……. Everything was wonderful!!!! We might make this our anniversary spot or visit quarterly for our dates.

I have been to Steak 44 several times and I was confused as to why I had never left a review, which I thought I had! Steak 44 is in my top 5 restaurants in the state and here is why. You will not find a better steak in Arizona than at Steak 44. I have been to many of the various steak houses, to include Dominick’s, which has the same management company. The quality of the steaks and how they are consistently, properly executed, with amazing flavor, blows my mind. The service is always excellent. The other dishes are also extremely good as well as their sides, especially the creamed corn! You can’t go wrong with going to Steak 44 for an excellent meal, a good bottle of wine or one of their amazing cocktails. Go for a casual, excellent meal or sit at the bar. Go for a business meal. Go for a date night. Go for a special occasion. Trust me, just go. You won’t be disappointed. Light dress code applies!

The atmosphere made us feel like it is some high end restaurants, but somehow it didn’t feel right. The steaks were large, but not amazing. The appetizers we ordered were delicious though. Overall a bit pricey.

We had to order to go but the quality and preparation of our order did not suffer. The Tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection. The crab and rock shrimp mac and cheese made me want to dance. We also ordered the rock shrimp and calamari appetizer. Great experience for my birthday order to go! I should have taken more photos of the food but I couldn’t wait.

Five stars for the food! Amazing bone in ribeye that just melts in your mouth. If you're not a steak eater they have pork chops that are just as tender and thick, two per order. Started off with deviled eggs and crispy shrimp... Okay I could eat a dozen of those... lol. After all said and done we finished with dessert. A crispy banana like banana split that was large enough for four people.

What an amazing food. The streak was best I have. The whole experience was amazing from the customer service to the food. Yes, it is very pricey but you will have amazing time and food.

Steak was good, even though I ordered medium it was definitely medium rare. I did not like the valet situation. Dinner on Wednesday night with a friend in town and valets were snobby and were speeding cars. After bringing to the valet manager’s attention he says that’s how things have to be handled and he’s done this a long time. It’s not your Mercedes it’s mine. The wine selection here is fantastic, and the bartenders are very knowledgeable. My friend I brought, she made sure to make it a point to come here every time she’s in Phoenix. Also the cleanest and friendliest experience from the waitstaff. Our server was pleasant and she was super sweet and charming.

Many employees here have Covid-19 and the owner/managment has been hiding it from other employees implying they will fire any employee who even asks if some one tested positive. YOU ARE NOT SAFE HERE. STAY AWAY

The location looks great. Lots of room to accommodate a lot of people. The hostess was nice enough. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. The regular filet mignon was cooked perfectly at medium. I'm not normally a fan of beets, but the beet salad was very tasty. The food was very fresh and the taste was great across the board. Got a banana split for dessert. The fried banana was so unique. My wife fell in love with it.

It was my first time going and had the most romantic and amazing experience. Every staff member who had approached us was nothing but kind and helpful. Our glass of water never got low. And many staff members were always checking on us and never had to wait for any service. Our waiter was very nice and helpful with the menu and made sure we had the best experience. It was surprising to get a call the next day to check how the dinner went. The food was perfect. The cocktails were very tasteful. And we got complimentary beignets for our 5 year anniversary along with a personalized card set on the table when we arrived. The restaurant is an entire experience. Very clean and positive vibes with very good music choices.

Celebrated our birthdays here with family. I highly recommend coming to this high end, fine dining when visiting AZ! The butcher’s cut grass feed medium cooked steak and Colorado whole rack of lamb and the rest of the food we ordered were exceptionally, amazingly delicious!!! Steak 44 always has the freshest food and exceptional service. We got seated near the kitchen and it was a great experience to see all the talented staff behind the scenes working their magic. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice romantic dinner or a fun night out with friends.

This fine dining establishment has a top-notch waitstaff. The service is attentive, and staff is knowledgeable. The atmosphere is great and the food is outstanding. Everything we tried in our party of seven was delicious. I had the Snake River Farms 12 ounce Wagyu Ribeye End Cap cooked medium rare, topped with the black truffle sautéed Maine Lobster. The steak was so flavorful and tender.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! Came here visiting my sister, who's been here a few times before, and this place definitely didn't disappoint! We got the seafood tower as appetizer, which came with crab, lobster, oysters, and huge shrimp. All were fresh and tasty, the blue point oysters tasted best, we weren't too crazy about the smaller Japanese ones. For dinner we got scallops, the filet mignon, the Chilean seabass, and I got the 45 day dry aged ribeye. The ribeye was absolutely phenomenal! Tender, melt in your mouth, perfectly cooked medium rare. The filet mignon were also super tender and delicious as well, could use a bit more seasoning in my opinion. The Chilean sea bass was a bit underwhelming, but the fish itself was cooked nicely and had a nice flakey, meaty texture. We got lots of sides to go with out dishes that we shared, overall the creamed corn, truffle fries, and the Mac and cheese were the top favorites! We had gotten the asparagus, brusselsprouts, and creamed spinach as well. For dessert we didn't go all out, as we were all very stuffed from our meals, but the Gelato was excellent, nice and creamy, and the key lime pie was supposedly very good as well, I did not take a bite. Service was excellent, our waiter Patrick was incredibly kind, had a solid knowledge of wines and spirits, and was very much attentive and communicative. Overall, definitely a spot I would come back to in a heartbeat if I'm in the area again! My pictures sadly didn't come out great, and don't do the steaks nearly the justice they deserve, but I can assure that they were incredibly juicy, tender, and tasty!

Attracting and stealing customers from the Biltmore hotel! Even tho this is a high end restaurant and you'll definitely pay the price for eating here - you'll get much more than eating onsite at the high end hotel restaurants. We very much enjoyed our Wagyu Ribeyes. Every aspect of this dinner was A+ from our drinks to our anniversary dessert. This place deserves a 5 out of 5 but unfortunately not everyone is a millionaire. Sure wish I could say money wasn't part of the rating, however the place hits on all cylinders and it's a definite splurge!!!

When I say this was the best restaurants experience I have ever had! Came here from Louisiana to celebrate getting my Masters. Found this place on Tiktok and had to make a reservation! The service was top tier! Our waiter was amazing! The food was to die for! I had the 22oz bone-in ribeye and my husband had the porkchops! Everything was hot and fresh. To be honest this place deserves way more than five stars! They even gave me a complimentary dessert to celebrate my accomplishments.

Started with sishito peppers. Then got the steak house salad. Finished with the 22 Oz bone in ribeye smothered in blue cheese. Alan was our waiter. He was incredible. On point with service. What an incredible spot. Loved the 500 degree plate my steak came out on.

Where do I even begin? This was, hands down, the best experience me and my family had had at an upscale restaurant in a long time! Everything, and I mean every little last detail was absolutely perfect. From the moment we first arrived to the second we left. The staff was INCREDIBLE/incredibly well trained, friendly and most importantly they seemed genuinely happy. The atmosphere was lively, the scents were intoxicating and the booth(#502 I think) was classy/fun. The food was beyond delicious! It came out quickly, it came out HOT, and the drinks were perfect. Beyond all that, we had called ahead to let them know we were celebrating a 40th wedding anniversary, and they went above & beyond to make the celebrating couple feel special. They gave us an incredible booth, a number of managers stopped by during the night to congratulate the happy couple, there were little congratulatory gifts, and the GM even took the time to have write an anniversary card as well. WHO DOES THAT!? I'm blown away, I literally cannot say enough good things about this spot. 100 out of 100 would absolutely recommend and we will definitely be coming back for the next special occasion. To all the staff members that were involved in this special evening. Thank you!

This Saturday, we had a wonderful birthday dining experience. My cousin and her husband from California joined us. They were excited since there is no indining in Calif. I was unable to get a table by the kitchen glass wall with Nicholas so we were placed in a semi private room. Our server was Paul, he was excellent, courteous and timely with our apps, drinks, meal and dessert. Asst GM Alex, originally from Chicago, checked in on us and visited with us for a short time. The music was perfect, our 70s favorites. We ordered oysters, spicy shrimp and deviled eggs with shrimp. Our drinks included a Martini, La Paloma, Sangria and a Mudslide. They were all delicious. We all ordered different entrees so we could taste a variety of dishes. We ordered the best Rack of Lamb with 8 bones, Short Ribs, Sea Bass and Rib Eye!!!! Our sides included Creamed Spinach, Mushrooms and Mashed potatoes. To top off 3 birthdays, Nicholas so kindly complimented our 3 desserts, Signature Vanilla Caramel Cake, Bread Pudding and Cheesecake.. We can't say enough about this memorable dining experience and can't wait to return. Thank you, Steak 44 Team!!!!

We went here for Christmas Eve as a family and have been here many times before. We were here to have a beautiful dinner and be together as a family, however, our waiter and management had a different picture in mind. Joe, our waiter, was the worst waiter I have ever had at this type of establishment. He screwed up in the beginning (our apps came out when the shouldn’t have, we were waiting for drinks, our table was not cleared until we brought it to some one else’s attention, etc.), and his ego was so large he could not take the criticism so he decided our table was the enemy. He was THE WORST server I have ever had in a 5-star restaurant, even before our issue detailed below. We got through our apps and we had our first few rounds of drinks and laughs. My fiancé had TWO drinks the entire time we were there but is a bit dramatic when he laughs, liking to put his head in his hands when he laughs. After we got our steaks, some random guy comes over and tells us that someone at our table had been cut off (turns out to be my fiancé, the most sober one at the table). He had had two drinks the entire night and just likes to laugh with his head in his hands. Long story short, no one came to ask him to stop drinking, no one came to say “hey, this guys seems drunk can you tell him to stop” - he was told he was cut off and just thrown to the side. Management said they were “backing their employee”, which is why Joe was the worst employee we’ve experienced. His ego was bruised by our table / standards of a 5-star place so he wanted to take it out on us. He never returned to our table after the “complaint” because he was the one who complained to start (more info by management). We will NEVER go back to any affiliates with Steak 44, which is a shame because I have had many memories here, including my graduation from college. But they single handedly ruined our family Christmas Eve with their lack of professionalism and ability to handle a situation like presented.

Went here for the 1st time to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. Every staff member wished him a happy birthday including the host. They gave him a hand written birthday card and a free dessert of his choice. Top notch service without the cheesy birthday singing (as expected at a high end restaurant)! The atmosphere was great, and the service and food even better. We first got complimentary bread with choice of salted or garlic butter (we had garlic). I ordered the 12oz New York strip, he ordered the salmon. Both were cooked perfectly. We shared a loaded baked potato (actually came with enough sour cream, unlike most places) and the creamy mac and cheese. The waiter served us the mac and cheese, but there was still another serving for each of us in the dish. All the food was absolutely delicious. Then for dessert he chose the vanilla Carmel cake. It may have been the best part of the meal. Absolutely amazing!

Definitely amazing food, dark and relaxing atmosphere gets a bit loud as it fills up. There were a lot of empty yet reserved seats. Service was great, what to be expected. We are definitely going back to inquire more on the menu. Cocktails were so very good, props to bartender and the chef.

Had an amazing time celebrating my wedding anniversary. Aileen (I’m so sorry if I got the spelling wrong!) did such a phenomenal job recommending, holding a conversation, and being top notch. The food was outstanding as always and so was the quality. Everything tasted delicious and the drinks were also top tier. I absolutely loved the NY Strip with sweet potatoes and creamed spinach. The beignets to end the night will be something I dream about. The ambiance is high class for sure but is worth it. You can make it a really great date night, business meal, or a place to feel really great about where you’re eating.

We celebrated our son’s 21st birthday here. They were so sweet and wrote him out a birthday card that they gave him when we first sat down. The food was amazing. Their French fries are the best fries I have ever eaten. All our steaks were amazing. The beignet tree is so fun. The key lime cake is delicious! The next day they called to thank us for dining with them. Classy touch!

A very classy nice restaurant! A warm welcome, followed by excellent service, with a lot of attention to details to please you. Then I took a marbled steak with homemade French fries and homemade ketchup. No word to say that it was awesome. The service always with a smile and very patient with us. This is a great restaurant for lunch and especially dinner. The seafood and fish dishes are very fresh and well cooked. They have a good selection of wines too. Celebrated my wife's birthday on Saturday. Staff was great food was awesome and overall experience was great. Would recommend to all in heart beat. From the appetizers to the main course to the desert was right on all the way through. Great work to the staff and kitchen.

I love this place. First make reservations. Then order! I had the filet which was mouth watering delicious. Best I ever had. My husband Had the rib eye and it was great. The crab avocado appetizer was good too. The lemon drop martini was delicious and strong. We went for our anniversary and they brought us a yummy desert at no charge. The staff is very very friendly. Everyone welcomed us as we came in and sat down. We will be back.

The bread they serve is delicious, incredible appetizers and of course, our steak and veggy sides we to die for! Our waitress went above and beyond and was very in tuned to our dining needs. We went here for our 5 year anniversary. The food, service, and even the extras that were thrown in to celebrate our milestone were all so amazing! We had an amazing time! We were able to sit in their glass semi-enclosed booths which was an added bonus (anytime but especially during COVID).

The food, atmosphere and drinks were everything we expected and more. I am however very disappoint by the way we were treated by our waiter. He did not provided the experience that I was expecting that I have had at other fine dining establishments. He didn't explain the menu, didn't give recommendation for each course, and we were not given wine pairing for the seafood and steaks that we ordered. When I asked about wine he said, "This is a good middle priced one." I was dumbfounded. My reply was, "I don't care about the price I want a wine that goes well with the steak I ordered." Other tables around us were given much more thorough explanation of menus and comped drinks and desserts for some reasons...three tables around us exactly. Like stated before, we loved the restaurant but were less than thrilled with the level of service we received.

What a nice restaurant in the area! The poolside common areas are great with chairs and umbrellas for free. Also, the servers are very professional to provide whatever you like from their menu. The place was also very cleaned and organized. A strong recommendation for your wonderful service! What a nice place, guys!

Steak 44 is hands down our favorite steakhouse in the state of Arizona. I took my husband here tonight to celebrate his birthday, but Steak 44 is always our choice when we are celebrating: buying a house, anniversaries, birthdays, work promotions, etc. Their food is amazing. Their steak is the best around, the salmon spiedini is a must try. The macaroni and cheese and chef's potatoes are delicious. Their bread = amazing. I'm pretty sure I can just type the word AMAZING and just use bullets to list everything I've mentioned. Beignets for dessert are the perfect way to end your meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is second to none. Service; also second to none. Their GM (or one of them) is wonderful and very accommodating. Everything about Steak 44 is worth it. I refer my friends, family, and colleagues here any chance I get. If you want to enjoy delicious food and treat yourself to an amazing night, choose Steak 44. I assure you everyone will be impressed.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE! We didn't have much conversation with the staff, but they were very attentive and wanted us to have an amazing experience, and that's exactly what we had.

The owners are amazing and are super friendly and prompt. They are very accommodating with our orders with any changes/add ons. And the food is delicious, comes out fresh and hot! They have outdoor and indoor seating and it's very clean. We will definitely be going back regularly.

One of the nicest restaurants my husband and I have been to. Steak was perfectly cooked WITHOUT any accompaniments. We regretted getting the bleu cheese bc the steak was so good on its own. Shrimp cocktail, wine, and service of course were on point as well.

MUST-HAVES: Brulee Cream Corn and the Crispy Shrimp Deviled Eggs. Besides the above-mentioned items, the service was the best part of my visit. Everything was served quickly and the wait staff was my attentive the whole time. The steak was tender but not very flavorful without the expensive sauces (blue cheese butter was the best). Dessert was not worth the price. The lack of cheesecake was a major negative mark in my book.

Everything was just exquisite. It's pricey for sure but after your meal you will understand why. The front desk even called me the day after to make sure everything was perfect. A great place to celebrate a special occasion.

I had lunch with some of my colleagues here last weekend, and the experience was fantastic! They had the best tasting of Wedge Salad, and it was really delicious! During lunch, we shared a bottle of wine. The place is so warm and entertaining. Highly recommended restaurant in town! Try them now and taste their tasty meals.

Very good food. However, felt very rushed by the wait staff. Literally had a piece of shrimp in my hand eating it and the busser tried to take away the tanning m remaining shrimp cocktail... Went on like this all night. Had to tell him at least four different times, we are not done with that yet please. Not acceptable for a restaurant at this price point.

We celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary here and it was such a great experience! The entire staff was extremely professional and kind. The amount of food you get for the price was fantastic. We both got the 12oz grass fed NY strip. And shared the creamy Mac and cheese. The food came out fast and sizzling hot. The steak options are all bigger portions but didn't stop us from eating the whole thing I also got a pomegranate blood orange martini that was a good choice. The restaurant was clean and great ambiance!

Absolutely amazing service and food, but expect cramped seating and a very loud environment. From the pictures online we expected a calmer sit down steakhouse, but it’s more of a high end bar vibe with delicious food. Our waiters Joe and Zach did a great job navigating the crowd and providing 5 star service nonetheless. Would go back, just with different expectations!

Phenomenal. Bone-in filet was incredible. Service by Andres was top notch. Brussels sprouts were epic. Can’t say enough. They took care of our crew like rock stars. Will absolutely be back soon!

This was one of the best steakhouse I’ve been to in a long time. Food was amazing. It was definitely worth the wait. Staff was awesome; everyone from valet to the guy cleaning tables was professional and polite! Ambience was impeccable. Certainly worth every dime spent!

Went to Steak 44 with a friend to celebrate our 39th anniversary. We got there a bit early, but they seated us within 5 minutes. Waitress (Ilene) was fabulous! After getting water, garlic bread, drinks and appetizers, my husband was uncomfortable sitting on the chair because of health issues with his left leg. We told the waitress and they were very, very accommodating and moved us to a half booth so my husband could get comfortable. They brought all our glasses and appetizers to the new table. They even let us keep our waitress even though it was a different section. The food was absolutely amazing. Most of the appetizers are fried so I couldn’t try any because of my allergies (they fry in oil used to also fry some of the seafood). They are very attentive to food allergies and sensitivities. My husband and our friend said the pork belly was delicious. The Caesar salad was great. The garlic bread was absolutely amazing. The baked potato was huge. The roasted Brussels sprouts were delicious. The Mac-n-cheese was also delicious. You could smell the steaks coming! The plates they bring the steaks on are super hot and sizzling, so be careful not to touch the plate. The steaks were so amazing. They were cooked to our specifications. The red velvet bread pudding was melt-in-your-mouth yummy. They comped us the dessert to thank us for coming to Steak 44 to celebrate our anniversary. Everyone that helped serve us was excellent. I have been to various stake houses throughout the country for years and honestly, this is the best steak house period. A+ Service and A+ Food grade. This is a must go place for Dinner or for celebrations

We had an amazing time at Steak 44. The food is outstanding, and the steaks are well prepared. The cocktails are delicious, making it hard to only have one. If this isn't enough, the service is impeccable, taking your dining experience to another level. We will definitely be back for another memorable dinner.

I'm so glad I chose Steak 44 to celebrate my boyfriends birthday! Right after they seated us they gave him a sweet birthday card and at the end of our meal treated him to a delicious dessert! The atmosphere was beautiful, service was amazing, and the food was delicious!!! Our server Sam was so kind and attentive! Thank you for making us feel so special!! We will definitely be back! This place is amazing. It's a huge restaurant with a wide variety of seating options, from classic dining room to glass nooks by the kitchen to private rooms to the bar. My wife and I were given bar seats for our reservation, which at first I thought was a mistake, especially given that she was 6 months pregnant. BUT Lexi curated a truly phenomenal experience for us. From carefully guiding us through the menus with personalized recommendations to mixing up an excellent off-menu non-alcoholic cocktail for my wife and super smooth Old Fashioned for me to having the kitchen divide our portions so we could share everything. We were even presented with a beautiful and decadent complimentary chocolate cake to celebrate our baby on the way. We loved the heirloom tomatoes, bone-in ribeye (I added a side of the incredibly flavorful crispy shrimp to mine), braised Chilean sea bass, and unique corn creme brulée! Steak 44 offers a genuine 5-star fine dining experience with superb service and a thoughtfully constructed menu executed to perfection. At its premium pricetag, we will be reserving for special occasions, but we will certainly be returning.

Our first time! Wonderful service by Amanda. She explained the menu and drinks perfectly. I'm so glad she said sides are sharable. Everything was delicious. Us girls had martinis, and they do not disappoint. Special occasion place as it is a bit pricey.

Food was delicious. The place is very busy even at a weeknight. We would recommend the filet. Parking can be a challenge. Use the vallet and it's free.
