My wife visited this location and shared her thoughts. The coffee and pastry were delicious. She loved the Newsie theme of the place. She seemed to like the chill local vibe of the place in downtown PHX.

Press Coffee offers a 32 oz cuppa cold brew. Hovering around $7, this rocket fuel is a wonderful way to kickstart the morning with a lightening of your load, a quick spike to your anxiety, and a great way to sip a cool beverage at the beginning of the day. A note about the coffee, this brand pays attention to how coffee is sourced, which should be a routine amongst food establishments were it not so time and resource intensive. This means the price of good ingredient sourcing is built into the menu. A cuppa hawt cawfee was the best on the block, outcompeting the hotel brands that were available. Press Coffee was also in walking distance to the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix, maybe even crawling distance. Baked goods were available, and also were empanadas. One deal that was offered was an empanada and a coffee for $6 dollars. Gluten free food options were available but was not a strength in their menu.

One of my favorite new coffee places in the country. They take coffee very seriously, and it showed. I had an espresso and a Cortado, and both were terrific. I was just passing through town on my way to Houston, and wish I lived closer so I could come here every week! One of the best decorated interiors I've seen. Lots of space, as well.

Really like the coffee and the location. Service is very good with friendly staff. Tried a "shaker" coffee drink and they actually made it in a cocktail shaker and poured it in front of me... I get the idea but maybe have a bar and do that for people sitting at the bar. Just felt cheesy and unnecessary. Craft coffee drinks can be done well and in the right setting. This was not it

Immaculate place with young staff and a unique menu. At least 5 coffees to sample and most were medium roast. We sat outside under shade trees on this beautiful day and enjoyed Capriese Avacado Toast. Wonderful.

Great place for a solid cold brew. Currently, I was told the rewards system was only for mobile orders, and the app has been really glitchy. Hoping they update this!

Nice place! The young lady up front, Nicole i believe was her name, was an absolute doll! Definitely made the experience great. She was so gentle and careful with my coffee and served me with a beautiful smile. Will be back.

Great coffee and friendly staff! Was recommended the iced honey almond milk latte by the barista, super tasty. Got a hot Peruvian drip to go, really good. Very citrus flavor, not your typical coffee flavor profile but it's awesome to me. Will be back next time I'm in town.

Went here while in town for a conference. Best iced americano I’ve had this year. The nitro cold brew was delicious, too!

Just found this place in my neighborhood. The coffee is exceptional! The decor is modern and minimalistic - just my style. The prices are great too… much better than Starbucks (Press has Starbucks beat on taste too). This is my go to place for an Americano now.

One short note about Muse. If I was paying $4000 a month rent there, it had better never smell like a dog park. But my friends, that is the overwhelming aroma. I'm not a-Mused!!

Coffee was smooth and the latte art showed that they care. The empanadas (both bacon and veggie) are must try... so good. Reminded me of kolaches.

    Nitro cold brew. Try it.

  • 4/5 Katie H. 4 years ago on Google
Better than the big coffee chains. The cold brew is very roasty but not bitter.

Super, super good coffee! We got iced americanos and they were delicious. The team was super friendly! I want to come back for the bacon empanada!

Decent coffee shop, however they wanted to charge $.50 for a water cup? I have never experienced that. Also customer service is not great and there’s no friendly vibes here. Very industrial cold feeling place. My drink was good though. Won’t return due to the weird energy in here

nice atmosphere. but food orders take a long time, especially the avocado toast. most things are pretty flavorful. the pastry selection, meh. i like that you sell coffee for home brewing and also that you have wine. most of the help is friendly and nice.

On a cold morning it was great to find this cool coffee shop. Very reasonably priced, and the coffee was delicious.

A great experience, and was jazzed to find this spot near my hotel. Fair pricing, a twist on the menu with a breakfast empanada, and a friendly staff. I’ll be back.

  • 5/5 Clinton D. 1 year ago on Google
The matcha was on point, very cool in making sure they had a decaf option for the prego wife! The empanadas were yummy. The baristas were so polite and sweet! Will come again!

It is very close to the hotel we were staying. It is a perfect breakfast. We stopped here because of the sign outside $6 for coffee and an empanada. There were two flavors: veggie and bacon. The empanadas were good and tasty. They were not too big, but big enough to boost up your morning energy. Different flavors of coffee available- we got a house blend and El Salvador. El Salvador was a fruity coffee. If you like Columbian coffee, you may like it. I expected the house blend to be a little darker, but it was good too.

The honey cinnamon latte was pretty good. The cashier was nice. But the atmosphere was just so impersonal, but not in a modern stylish way. Just a generic feel.

Good coffee. Quick for pick up. Clean, professional atmosphere.

  • 5/5 Lora K. 7 months ago on Google
Their drip coffee is great, it doesn't need cream or sugar and you can taste the notes. It's nice to have different origins/flavors and pour overs available. Also, their chai is amazing in hot or iced.

  • 5/5 E H. 7 months ago on Google
The best damn latte I’ve tasted so far. Thank god I live far away because I’ll be drinking their latte every single day lol I especially love the fact that they don’t fill the cup with ice and then pour the coffee which ends up with watery latte. IMO most places would do this, but here they make the concoction first and then top with ice, and that makes a huge difference.

The cappuccino was excellent. Nice texture and micro foam with a lovely coffee flavor. The little cake bite things were pricy but amazing as well. The barista was friendly and answered my questions about how they make their cappuccinos here prior to my order.

  • 3/5 Kelsey R. 9 months ago on Google
I’m thankful these guys open early, and their coffee is passable—better than popular chains. The atmosphere was not inviting—no one comes here to sit. It is utilitarian bordering sterile. Depending on who is behind the counter that day, you might have a begrudging, anti-social (though efficient) barista or a slightly more lukewarm persona with a weak smile. At least the coffee is strong and good. The food offering is uninspiring: a handful of pastries. Press Coffee is about the no-nonsense business of coffee. Best offering: the honey, cinnamon iced latte. Delicious.

Great place to get coffee. Alot of different options and customizations. The staff is very helpful and willing to answer any questions you have. I got a Iced Chai Tea Latte and a Cold Brew Coffee.

This place is EXCELLENT! I travel all over Europe and this had one of the best Cappuccinos I've had. And the pastry is amazing. Definitely go here rather than a mediocre nationwide chain.

My favorite coffee place in Phoenix! The staff are friendly and the coffee is great! It would beat most coffee places in taste. It's also a great place to study or discuss business.

  • 5/5 Morris L. 4 years ago on Google
Okay guys, this honey vanilla latte is amazing. It was my first time here and their customer service was excellent. I had some questions on the menu about some drinks & the baristas were kind enough to explain and go over the drinks. I definitely recommend coming to Press Coffee & also recommend this yummy latte!

We use the Press Coffee Roasters subscription keg and it's amazing! The Service is unbeatable. It beats having to brew coffee and is a perfect addition to in Phoenix office. I highly recommend this because it boosts office productivity throughout the day and it's easy to use.

Delicious coffee. Got a great pourover and an iced mocha latte. Both were great! Picked up a flask of cold brew to go for later.

The coffee is great. Atmosphere is too. The service is hit or miss. When it’s good, it’s good. When it’s not, it’s really not.

This is the worst of all the press locations. Which is a shame, they put great effort into sourcing and roasting quality coffee, they provide exceptional training for their baristas but nobody who works at this location has any kind of customer service skills. If you like press coffee, stay away, this place just might ruin it for you, sadly.

Good beans. Sometimes the line gets kinda long and the kitchen takes a while to keep up with the demand.

You order at the front, so on the weekend mornings expect to wait 10-20 minutes in line. But it's worth the wait! The staff is nice and helpful, and the food was flavorful. We ordered the omelette, the egg sandwich (voted best in Arizona), and French toast. Everything tasted great and you can eat outside-- bonus!

  • 3/5 michael v. 4 years ago on Google
better than most coffee shops I've been to but wasn't super excited with their bagged coffee selection (I like to shop area roasters while on vaca).

Press is Press. Out of all the locations, the atmosphere is a little more cramped and may be full of students at any given time..but still the best coffee around.
