I went to ER for and the first shift of nurses were great. Paid attention etc. I had to have some surgery and those folks were great, as well. After surgery I was parked in one of the emergency patient's rooms and was totally ignored. I woke up and waited and nobody came by. I started having quite a bit of pain and had to go out into the hall way as there was no nurse call button. My nurse eventually came in and I explained that I was in a lot of pain. He said he'd get back to me after speaking to the doctor. I waited and waited and he finally came back to give me some instructions. I told him AGAIN that I was in a lot of pain and and very thirsty again he said he'd get back to me. I waited and waited and finally got my own water. It wasn't until I was shaking and had tears running down my face that he finally gave me some pain medication. Terrible care and this man should find a new profession.

So we come here to bring Mom straight from Urgent Care who kindly provided us with something called a fast pass. I give the pass to the Check in nurse who proceeds to laugh and say “yeah no”. She then starts to talk smack about the provider who gave us the pass and about us expecting the card to do something for us. So unprofessional I just have no words to describe how disgusted I am right now. If I was here for myself I would have walked out already but since my Mom gets pneumonia so quickly I’m going to stay until she is seen. Won’t be coming back here.

I recently delivered my son here first time at this abrazo hospital thinking I made a great choice. Altogether I was wrong!! I won't ever recommend this hospital to anyone. After I delivered my baby I was put in my own room. The nurses told me to keep hydrated not once did they offer me water I had to ask several times, the things I was told they would do after birth never got met so I did things myself. I wasn't given any hygiene needs. Stuff I actually needed nurses made me feel like they were coming out of pocket for the things. I never been to a hospital who made me feel this way before. The nurses knew I was nursing and doing formula not one bottle did they give me. I just wanted to hurry up and get out that hospital. I understand there's a shortage of workers and I know I'm not the only pattient but dam it's not like I'm asking for the same item every hour . I know they have other patients as well they have to tend to as well.

I brought my daughter to the emergency room after brining her to the urgent care and they said she needed to go to the emergency room. We arrived at 12:37 it was 250 before they even triaged her then sent her back out in the waiting room. Her blood pressure is over 200 she is dizzy and they just keep saying sorry we are short staffed. My daughter needed to lay down so she had to lay on the floor of the waiting room. This is the worst experience I have ever seen and will never come to ithis hospital again. Do yourself yfa or and go elsewhere. If you really need to be seen by a doctor.

Worst experience at a hospital. Had to bring my wife back the day after a surgery that was performed here due to post op complications. Waited over three hours and watched others who came in after us go back. As my wife got worse sitting in the waiting room, no care was given by the staff when informed. Took her to Banner Del Web. Got her right in and made her a priority patient based on symptoms and situation. Stay away from this hospital, you or your loved ones life could depend on it.

Being an ER nurse comes with having some type of empathy but this nurse has absolutely none. On 1/11 I went into the ER. It was a bit of wait which is normal in the middle of the night. When requesting a wheelchair the nurse on duty scoffed at the request then rudely had my bf push. She was super condescending when informing where to park the wheel chair. She basically laughed in my face when providing information about my preexisting conditions and tried to make light of a very serious and painful situation. This nurse has zero empathy. Once we're finally waiting in a bed to be seen by a Dr. You can hear the nurse yelling at some patients or rudely responding to others. She was rough with handling anything from pushing around the chair I was sitting in against the wall to make space for her in the cramped area to dealing with the man's catheter down the hall. The woman had zero bedside manner for anybody. So much to the point that another patient had to verbally point out to a Dr how incredible his manner was compared to hers. This nurse was too headstrong for her own good. She showed no empathy to any patient or visitor and complained out loud as her day went on. After sitting with an open IV in my arm for over 2 hours, multiple requests for a doctor or some type of help from anybody I was glad to be discharged. I'm now at a different hospital and the Dr asked me why I didn't go back to Abrazo. Need I say more?

First of all this rating is only for the hospital not for my doctor involved, he was Awesome!! The nurses there are something to be desired. Now, there were some nice ones but, the majority of them were like: let's get this done, they were rude and not compassionate at all. It's pretty bad when your Great doctor says you'd be better to recoup at home because of lack of staff. I would Not plan to go back to this hospital ever!!!!! I would find another hospital to attend to this place is a joke!!!

If I could give them a lower rating I would!!!! My mom is having chest pains and trouble breathing. They did the triage and sent us back to the waiting area. We've been here 6 hours and are still waiting to see a doctor. This is absolutely unacceptable!!! They don't see patients in order, they don't know how long the wait will be. It's based on acuity and even asking based on acuity where are we in line and they still don't know. This is extremely frustrating. My mom isn't here because she has time to waste or on a vacation, she's here because she is feeling extremely ill and has to sit a in a waiting room full of other ill people. I do not recommend this place at all!!!!!

ZERO Star Rating.... They did not help my mom. The only help to my mother was helping her to needlessly die. To the responsible doctors and staff, May God have mercy on you at your judgment..

The staff working this ER are my new heroes. Idk y the world this society is coming to that makes everyone out there a bully or loud or unruly to prove a point. These ladies were being berrated by several ,patients and relatives and security being called. After dealing with being photographed. They still managed to act professional and continued on the rest of their 12hr shifts... u guys r awesome... thank u...

Worst ER EVER. After checked in I watched a man in the ER beg to go back because he could not breath and the receptionist told him to sit back down and wait. I listened to him cry out for help while sitting there in front of me. I ended up walking out. I went to a hospital admin. and she didn't seem concerned at all.... With covid being rapid you would think they would let folks like him back or give them some oxygen while they wait.

If you have any other options, go somewhere else. Staff was extremely unhelpful. Nurses were rude and our doctor was not informative at all. Nurse 1 clearly did not want to be there, which makes for a great experience when you’re at the hospital emergency room and already scared…she was a jerk.

Dr. Kevin Haslehorst I probably messed up his last name. Sorry doctor, and Robyn very professional with good hearts. I really appreciate That Doctor particularly. He actually talks to you, smiles and just makes you feel good and so did Robyn. I need that now. I am dying of Cancer and I have NO ONE Doc says probably my last year. I appreciate you Doctor Kevin Hastlehorse You are such a nice caring man and took care of my problem. Thank You and Robyn was very compassionate and Some of the staff there can learn a thing from both of you. I LOVE YOU I REALLY DO. Thank You Abrazo for these fine folks

The only reason I'm not giving one star, is because of Madison Gallant, who was our labor and delivery nurse, and Rachael, who helped us in the recovery section, when we were brought to recovery 26 hours after the birth. And our social worker Sara, who helped me and my wife more than I can even say here! They were the only medical professionals at this hospital who treated my wife and I like real people. This was our 2nd child together, my wife's 3rd total at this hospital. She has 8 messed up IV attempts in her arms. Bruises up and down her arms. They have given our children vaccines that they did not record, and that we told them we didn't want given. (Not with this baby that was just born that we know of yet) Now on to the nutrition department. Every time I have been in this hospital, the nutrition is the worst part. Now I know you're thinking it's a hospital... hospital food right?! Not even close. Just during this visit, I got 2 broken teeth, from the chicken fingers, and from a breakfast sandwich bread. Yup the bread broke my tooth, and cut my gums. The hash browns were raw... RAW. Then after 48 hours we were finally allowed our "congratulations dinner" for parents. We told them of my onion allergy, and they still put onions on my food. I guess they figured he's at the hospital so when he goes through anaphylaxis they can just help him. So they literally tried to kill me with food. Also, the filet mignon was RAW. Not under. Almost purple. Funny thing. 4 years ago we had almost the exact same issue. Disregarding food allergies, sub-par cooking of food to the point of being dangerous. and serving food to people that is not cooked. WONDERFUL for sick people. No wonder so many people can't get out of here. In summary, terrible hospital, 2-3 great employees, and Dr. Falkestad! He's a frickin superstar. If you read this doc, let's talk watches... LoL the nutrition dept is the worst I've ever seen, and it's not a new problem. They have literally tried to kill me twice, out of 2 visits, cost me 2 teeth, and bleeding gums, over an English muffin and a chicken tender, that was NOT tender. No hot water for showers after surgery. Cold water shower on fresh wounds... great idea. And a staff that seems to care more about their own life than the patients they see. If you can help it, avoid this hospital.

I recently had a visit to the ER which I am no stranger to however this was by far the best experience I’ve had. Everyone from triage to bedside care was so efficient. Dr. Murray, RN Ken and ER Tech Brandon were absolutely amazing. It’s hard being the patient when you are usually helping the patients but they made it comforting. The doctor had great bedside manner and actually listened to me. All of my orders were put in right away, my labs and other tests were done before I even knew it. Each person I encountered during my visit was absolutely on their game and I couldn’t of had a better experience

Went to ER on Thursday with heart problems. Was admitted. Was supposed to go home on Friday but they said I needed one more test and if it was ok I could go home. On Saturday morning the doctor that was seeing me came in and asked why I was still there. She said she signed My discharge papers on Friday at 3pm. She said I should have gone home. She said I was ready to leave. She was very angry and said she was filing a complaint against the hospital. I certainly don't feel I should have to pay for the last day when I had been discharged.

Normally don’t post to many reviews but I felt this one necessary. Threw out my back at work and have the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt. I came to the ER even though I really didn’t want to, but my employer insisted. Once I arrived in a great deal of pain, the women athe desk asked me what’s wrong, I told her and her first question was how do you know that you threw your back out? She couldn’t have been any ruder about it. I already feel guilty for coming to the ER for a back injury when other people are here for much more serious reasons. And to have her the essentially give 5/15/23attitude was very sad. I wish I got her name but was a shift change. Younger girl with dark hair. Absolute horrible services. Kinda the last thing you want during a painful event. Seemed like I was interrupting her social hour and she seem really annoyed over back pain. Been to the doctor maybe 5times in last 10years. Try not to take up service unless I really need it and to be talked to like that was ridiculous.I’ll try banner next time there’s an emergency.5/15/23 12:09pm Edited-got worse after posted review.

Horrible...absolutely a nightmare. Many people like us come here because we thought the wait would be shorter....it was but the care is horrible....was told by the doctor (who saw up for 5 minutes) tests would be run and an IV line put in.....2 hours later it was done because there are not enough nurses. The triage nurse in the front ended up working all night in the ER and finally 2 hours later put in an IV. Then it took 10 hours to be discharged.................Go to Banner, it is worth the wait. Also, the ER was dirty. I was there .........no cleaners came through and the room we were put in had a dusty floor. The ER doctor never came to talk to us about test results until his shift was over and I asked to talk to him. ....Last but not least, they lost our clothes and shoes.....they took them out of the room and put them on a cart...then someone came and took the cart.....STAY AWAY from For Profit Hospitals...... 3

Sorry, this will be long, but I have been stuck in the hospital for my 3rd night now, and I am bored. Let's start by saying that unfortunately, I am familiar with this ER. Last time I was here was 2 years ago. My experiences back then were okay. Would have rated it at 3 stars. Well, 3 days ago (Sunday), I come rushing back. I could barely stand, and I could barely breath, and my heart rate was fluctuating between 150-170. Felt like someone stabbed me in the back, then in the chest. I was hunched over as I was checking in. They immediately took me to the back and ran an ekg which looked fine. As they were checking my vitals, of course I started to feel better. I started dismissing myself haha. Maybe it was just anxiety or something. Seriously, I don't want to be stuck with another ER bill. And when they stuck me back into the waiting room, I saw that there was ALOT of people waiting, I expected to wait HOURS before I actually get seen or a bed. But something must've alerted them because I was ordered back for an X-ray almost immediately. Then was put back into the waiting area, AGAIN, and thought well here we go, for sure it will be hours. It was busy, I felt better...maybe I should just go. They came and got me 5 minutes later. At this point I am beginning to realize how serious this might be if I am being seen so fast, ahead of all those people waiting. They sit me down in an uncomfortable chair in some room. It looked like rooms were all full as I saw some people laying on gurneys in the hallway. Turns out, I had something serious going on. So from that point everything escalated. I had an awesome team. Too bad I don't really remember everyone's name. For some reason I can only remember the RN Ken and Dr. Patel. I think the only reason why I remembered Dr. Patel is because she was young and pretty, and she happened to be standing in front of me as they were inserting a tube into my lungs. But there were more doctors and more nurses, and all were fantastic. The doctors constantly checked on me throughout the night to make sure I was okay. Only thing I didn't like was when I needed to pee, Ken brought me a bed pan. That was terrible. I still like him, but the RN that relieved him brought me a bedside commode thingie. A much better peeing experience! Let me warn you, if you have to stay in the ER overnight, omg, those beds are VERY uncomfortable! Pretty sure these beds are issued to people in hell. And if you happen to have a tube inserted into your back, it made for a more miserable experience. I was suppose to get admitted to a room upstairs, but seems like they were all full there too, so unfortunately, I had to stay in the ER on the god awful beds. I must say my experience was good. But Hopefully I won't be back!

Horrible ER doctor Hackman , should be called HACKman since he will do nothing for you or the pain you are in. Complete waste of time and money. Do not come here if you expect to be helped out. Sat in the room for over 4 hours with no help, only to be told to follow up with a specialist. Heard unprofessional HACkman say that “all the patients he has today are bullshit” . Worst experience in an ER ever and I will be telling everyone and anyone to avoid this place like the plague.

This ER hospital used to be good 3 years ago was just there last night for my self . The people behind the desk that help you check in are very rude and lazy !! I don’t like putting people down or their job but I can’t help but write this , I waited 2 and half hrs in pain with 2 people in the lobby waiting to be helped. I go and ask the lady’s in front to see how much longer and they were rude not doing nothing but on their phones laughing and not working !! the front men’s bathroom was disgusting dirty . Once I finally got called back and sat in the most uncomfortable chair not being in a bed in pain. The only good thing was my nurse who was also sick with allergies was the best part of me being there and really helped me was also very nice for her not feeling good !! Can’t say much about the staff in front !!! The bathroom in the back was also disgusting with biohazard trash, overflowing on the floor, toilet paper on the ground . This needs to be fixed it was very unsanitary. My mother was ther 16 months ago and also waited for 3 hrs with no help decided to not wait went home and died 9 hrs later ! Do too the lack of staff and not being able to be help in a timely manner. Fix this we count on the hospitals to help us and not be rude and also expect a hospital to be clean !!!!!

PLEASE trust the 1.9 stars this place has and do yourself a favor by going to a different company's emergency room. Abrazo should have a NEGATIVE star rating. I made the mistake of going to this ER. I was given a good faith estimate for $644. Got my bill a couple weeks later and it was for $4047. Why bother giving an estimate only to charge someone nearly 7x the amount of the estimate? Stay far from these criminals unless you enjoy dishonesty and being ripped off. I've attached the receipts to prove these scum bags are up to the shadiest business practice you can imagine. UPDATE: I emailed my contact info as they requested. I will provide a further update should Abrazo actually reach out with an offer to correct their shady, bate and switch billing practices. UPDATE 2: Have not heard from anyone at Abrazo. Just do yourself a favor and go somewhere else to avoid this company. There is zero chance you can trust them.

Threatened a girl having tics. Multiple nurses threatened to tie her down even as she began crying that she couldn't control the involuntary movements. When more family arrived, the PA defended the nurses. What's more is they claimed all tests came back normal, but reviewing them on the ride home we found multiple abnormal blood results out of range. Don't bring your family or friends here. Child or adult. I considered photographing one of the nurses threatening her, and I regret not doing so. I don't want anyone to be hurt, but they need to be held responsible by the hospital for their actions and cruelty. 000 New visit Refused to give any copy of test results. Seeing as they lied about them and were caught on manual review of results, I'm guessing the results were not provided so they could not be reviewed by patient or their regular doctors. I did request the results.

I want to start off saying that the nurse staff, actually all the staff was super sweet! I don't think this had anything to do with them. My husband came in with severe pain, they focused on his heart, which was nice. However, he told them he has a lot of GI issues. We were there in ER for 16 hours! They went back and forth saying they were admitting him. We got there at about 9:30/10AM. He had an x-ray and CCTA test. All done by 2:30PM. However, he sat in a chair in the ER till about 1:30AM. In a chair for 16 hours!!!!! No bed, a chair! Hindsight, go to Thunderbird Banner or somewhere else. The staff here like I said was so sweet! There was clearly a disconnect with the Doctors. Even at 8:30PM they were going to admit him. Then...nothing. Came in at 1AM and said that we could leave as soon as the Doctor came in. So we waited from 2:30PM-1:30 just to leave. No tests were taken during that time.

The parking lot outside of the entrance to the ER is dimly lit and full of trash. Not a very good first impression to say the least. My 77 year old mother was brought in by ambulance and was bleeding profusely from her nose. I arrived shortly after and could see her sitting behind the desk being triaged but they would not allow me to go back with her. I sat in the waiting room unaware of what was happening for about 90 minutes. She hobbled back out into the waiting room full of blood, with a basin and blood soaked towel, and wanted to go to another ER because they could not stop the bleeding and they actually got rude with her. She said and I quote, "the doctor was yelling at me". She could barely walk and we had to help her into our vehicle. Well we took her to another ER that was 15 min away and they were not only "friendly", unlike the staff at Abrazo, they were skilled enough to stop a nose bleed. Both the male nurse, and male doctor that were on staff that morning were rude and disrespectful towards her. I can almost guarantee if I had been allowed back with her, they would not have treated me in the same manner. Perhaps they should not only know how to treat nose bleeds, but have a little compassion for the elderly who are more at risk and there for immediate care. I only hope that someone is as inconsiderate and negligent to their mothers/immediate family when they are in need of life saving assistance. I have worked in Senior Living for years and know that this type of discrimination does in fact exist and its sadly ignored. Abrazo is a huge corporation and I really hope someone is paying attention to these negative reviews, as poor care seems to be common practice at this ER.

Here with my daughter, it's been 2 hours since I've walked in. This other patient who's been here before me... the entire time, making noises of agony. Her worried son went to ask if they could help 4 different times. On the last attempt, you could hear the lady at the desk raising her voice, so he matched it while saying he needed help. After walking away and sitting back down, a security guard came out after the situation was over, acting all big and bad, escalating the situation and getting in his face... No wonder they have a 2 star rating and falling fast. AVOID THIS ER AT ALL COST!!!

If I can give this ER a 0 rating I would. My father was there earlier today. They told him he had the flu and influenza. Gave him prescription and told him to go home. Around 5pm my father developed a fever of 106.3. We took him back to the ER, like they usually say if you get worse go back to the ER. My father got there around 6:38pm and now it’s 10:45pm and he still was waiting. Of course he took some Tylenol to bring down the fever that was so high but 4 hours waiting in a waiting room and nothing! Absolutely ridiculous. He is 72 years old this is how we treat our elderly! My brother was and my father was asked to leave due to my brother wanting to know how much longer it was going to take and the staff was rude when my brother asked for the directors information. How outrageous. I will be filling a formal complaint with the state.

Brought my wife here for the birth of our first child and the nurses were attentive to all my wife's needs and help us through the confusing time. They helped answer all our questions and when we ended up doing a c-section the operation was seamless and our care was near perfect. It is an older facility, but the experience the staff brought to our needs made up for it. I highly recommend Arrowhead for any first time parents.

Surgon Gupta & I.C.U Nurses Russ & Kirsiti in I.C.U took the most up respect for my mother I give them 5 stars, As far as night shift nurses being so rough with her I don't appreciate it, also CASE MANAGEMENT doesn't seem to understand when you have the patient FULL DRUGGED UP ON MEDICATION, they can't make decisions for themselves, was TOLD HUNDRED TIMES TO CONTACT ME! THE DAUGHTER. Yet they thought my aunt was my mother's daughter. Smh how could that be? Also had to give my mother 3 more surgerys to try and correct her foot issue, mind you photo can be graphic. But not happy on how her foot was treated and looks now. Happy Birthday to her huh..? Also EVS housekeeping could do some more work in the ICU my mother's floor was all marked up, with black marks and blood, trash filled, and sink never once cleaned it, only worried about light switch and trash can closes to the door. Never cleaned her toilet either, and using bleach when she had a tub down her throat and using oxygen. Doctors wanna get an attitude with you when tell them how to properly call and alert family the way they are suppose to. 1 star which effects the hospital. Glad she is out of there and into a better place. She won't be going back there anytime soon. Nor ever!!

ER runs far too slowly and has no apparent , logical prioritization for patients. Once triaged, the wait begins and with each passing hour it is clear that they work on their time with little to no concern for patients. Never to return!!!

Moved us back quickly in the er for a possible blood clot but put us in the family room only with uncomfortable chairs and no bed. When I asked for an actual triage room with a bed the nurse told us there were people actually dying in the other rooms . If I could give 0 starts I would extremely dissatisfied and disappointed

They are staffed incorrectly. One nurse for the entire ER. Do not go to Arrowhead abazo if you can help it. The state needs to inspect this hospital. They can't be following state policies. This is unacceptable!
