Wow! Just Wow! What a great local coffee spot! This place has personality plus. The vibe is comfortably eclectic and warmly inviting. The baristas are outgoing, friendly, and eager to help. (Ask for recommendations and you won’t be disappointed.)The coffee is amazing. The brown sugar oat milk cappuccino was insanely delicious! The pastries are made in house and really good. I had a banana chocolate muffin and it was perfect. I will be back.

This place is the best coffee shop I’ve been to in the Phoenix area. It always has fun music, and the best tasting coffee I have had an Arizona. They also have great handmade bakery items. A great environment to sit in and have good conversations with friends or you can order ahead.

What an amazing little gem of a place with such glean vibes. You feel like you are sitting in a cool coffee place in Seattle or something. Baristas - Kartik and Matt behind the counter were so so nice. The coffee and the desserts were delectable. They even have gluten free desserts. We ordered the almond cake and cheesecake.. they even heated up the almond cake for us so it went perfectly with our coffee. Next time you are in the mood for coffee and desserts, do stop by here and you won’t be disappointed. We spent like two hours here on a Saturday afternoon and could have spent two more.

No other coffee shop has a menu item that comes close to whereubean's Cubano. I first tried it 3 years ago and have been hooked ever since.

Not only is the service here exquisite and not like anything I’ve ever seen, the coffee here is something else. This might have been the best coffee I’ve ever had in my entire life. I didn’t want to finish my drink because I needed to savor every last drop, LOL. But I really do have to applaud the serious measures taken to ensure an atmosphere that perpetuates good health practices, especially in this current climate with COVID-19 going around. Will be going again!

If I could I would give a million Stars! My little dog and I happened upon the shop on an early morning walk and something told me this is the place to stop and was soooo right!! I asked Zoccer(although he was Superman on this day, Halloween) the barista what his favorite thing he makes himself to drink and had what he suggested and YUMMY!! Also had the Banana Choc Chip Walnut muffin and perfect!! Everything looked and smelled so delicious and the service so amazing I will most certainly be back whenever possible and encourage you strongly to give them a try! You won't be sorry you did!!

This place is amazing with a casual, warm vibe. It has a very aesthetic interior, good decorations, comfortable seating, pleasant music, welcoming staff, and tasty food. I liked my salted latte with macadamia milk and savored it for a good hour. It was easy to drink, flavorful, and had great presentation. It was nice to try a baked good once as well. Prices are normal for this economy and it's definitely worth a try. It was busy inside around noon so you may have to wait to secure seating. They have a small library-shelf for anyone wanting to pass the time with a book. There is a good amount of parking that's shared with neighboring business

This is hands down the best coffee shop I've ever been to. I have decided to make it part of my regular routine and give up corporate run starbucks. They are faster and for some crazy reason they actually remember me and know exactly what i want everytime. Although, they charge me a slightly different price every time i order i don't even care. Great job staff. Owner is the sweetest.

A quintessential hipster coffee joint with wooden tables, comfy couches, and walls that are adorned with local artwork and a collage of retro music media. The soft glow of Edison bulbs illuminate the atmosphere with a warmth that is only exceeded by the customer service of friendly staff. If humanity could be epitomized in a coffee shop, it would be WhereUBean, or "WUB" as regulars call it.

Great coffee and great people. they're doing curbside pickup now. It was very easy, I called from the parking lot and they came out and ran my card and brought me my drink. Working from home as meant that I haven't gone out for coffee as much. I forgot how much I absolutely love their oat milk latte! It's the best coffee in Ahwatukee! Check it out for yourself.

This small and cozy coffee shop is not in a high traffic area. You will probably not come across it while shopping for something else. However it is worth discovering and making the trip specifically to enjoy what it offers. First of all, it is a small shop and provide a quite atmosphere. Second, the barista is good at making almost anything on the menu. Food choices are limited but coffee and tea choices are excellent. I tried cuppocino and latte, both of them came with a top covered in - what might be called- "milk art". It is different every time; I think the barista is an artist.

5 star coffee. The coffee (they brew Intelligentsia) is fantastic and their cold brew is one of the best I've ever had. One of my favorite stops for coffee.

Oh my! I don’t leave reviews often but in this case I feel as if I have to. I tried this place on a whim as I don’t live in that area but I was down there for work and I noticed it when I drove by. After I was done with work stuff I decided to go over and try it on my way back and it was so worth it. Not sure what the interior looks like as they are only doing curbside pickup for COVID procedures right now, but it could not have been easier to place and receive my order. This is the best part: when you place your order online they have a ton of ways to customize your coffee; certainly way more than I was expecting. After I put together my personal monstrosity of whatever sounded good I was so surprised at how much more I enjoyed it compared to chain coffee places. I will now find some time to head down there whenever I can, it’s that good! I really hope this business grows enough to have more locations/franchises because that’s how good I thought the coffee was.

One of my go-to spots to relax and grab a good cup of coffee. And I mean GOOD. They have a wide variety of flavors and will customize your drink to your liking whether you're craving a fruity blended drink or a bold Cubano. I like that they use a special blend of coffee- Intelligentsia, and that they support the local community. The rotating artwork displayed on the walls is pretty hip too.

Best coffee I’ve found in AZ. I’ve been to Europe multiple times and this is on par! It’s smooth, not bitter. Far exceeds any chain you’d go to or a lot of other trendy coffee shops I’ve been to in the area. The staff are always nice and attentive, and the food is delicious and baked in-house. Support your local businesses and come here. (Starbucks is burnt bean water. 😂)

This is my spot. I have been there to grab coffee and work from there. Any time I need a scenery change from my home during work hours, WhereUBean is the spot I hit up. The coffee is delicious. I love the option of homemade flavors/syrups. The signature latte drink options seasonally is always popping. I have never had anything from here whether a beverage or a pastry that wasn’t delicious. The people here are nice. You get a friendly welcome and an actual genuine smile at the front when ordering. You feel welcomed. The space is great. Lots of seating options for work and to socialize. So there’s always room and options to suite your needs.

I love WUB. They have a neat little spot with some cool art on the wall (most of the time). They have an excellent cold brew coffee (90% of the time) and if you ask, they will typically like you try a small sip prior to buying to see if it is to your liking (depending on who brewed/finished it, the flavor can vary.) Great drip coffee too. Once or twice a week, this sweet lady comes in and bakes awesome stuff. The apple cake is delightful and if you are lucky enough to catch it fresh out of the oven, GET SOME!!! BTW the espresso that they use is organic, so that's a nice added touch, if you're into that kinda thing. Best coffee in Ahwatukee, hands down, and you'll have to drive to Tempe or Phoenix for a comparable / better cup of coffee. I work up the street so consider me a regular.

Good coffee but covid 19 hysteria! Can't go into the location at this time! Was told to wait out outside and they would bring our order to us, and you have to have an online order in advance. Not able to order at store even outside. While everything else is opening up with proper precautions, these guys are going backwards into more hysteria.

I work full time from my laptop, so having a trendy coffee spot in Phoenix is personal to me as I hate working at home. Where U Bean is the BEST coffee shop because they offer the FASTEST WIFI (free) out of any business I have sat in, let alone coffee shop. PLEASE SEE THE IMAGE ATTACHED! If you need to use your device, hold a zoom call, have a date, or meet your client - this spot is ideal to impress someone. The ambiance is simply impressive, and ask Zakir or Zain anything - seriously they will educate so you can discover drinks/combos you'd never try. The Chicago-based "Intelligentsia" espresso is my favorite - but I can only have one shot a day (it's strong). Lately, I have been trying more tea/chais during winter.

This was my second time visiting this cute and cozy little coffee shop. Service was extremely friendly and helpful both times. They have a great offering of caffeinated beverages. I especially liked their chai latte with coconut milk (hot and iced). They have a wide variety of non-dairy milks available, which I can appreciate being lactose intolerant. Their pastries and other baked goods were quite tasty as well. The banana pudding was awesome! I would definitely recommend!

They don't have walk-in service yet, but there is a sign to call or go online. My husband called so we could ask a few questions and the lady asked if we were outside, we said yes, and she said hold on I'm coming out. She brought a menu and went over it with us. How sweet is that? She was so patient while answering our questions and took our order. She brought mine out early since it was done before my husband's. She invited us back when the inside is open and apologized, which I didn't think was necessary as she was doing the safe thing. I've already told a few friends about our experience and plan to return.

I ordered an iced soy milk latte with brown sugar cinnamon syrup and vanilla syrup (both of which are made in house). I shared a lemon tart, chia seed pudding with berry compote, and egg/potato burrito with salsa verde (all also made in house) with my sister. All the items we received were absolutely delicious and the serving sizes were generous. The women working behind the counter were cheerful and personable. A great experience!!!

I like to find local places for coffee that have "the vibe" and this was one of them. The atmosphere is low-key cool as was our barista Bjorn who made a fantastic iced latte (try the Eleven if they still have it). I could've spent all day here--that's how much I liked it.

I was a little skeptical because I had came here a few years ago for tea and they didn’t have a huge selection. But now their tea is truly amazing! They are so friendly and even helped me create my own tea blend for one of the best tea drinks I’ve ever had. They put so much passion into their service and ingredients it truly shows. The ambience is also amazing it’s a cute quiet spot to catch up on work or hang out with some friends!

Oh my goodness. I'm so glad I found this place. I asked for a recommendation and was not disappointed. Then I asked for the best paired pastry, and again was not disappointed! These two employees know their stuff and are clearly passionate about providing the best experience possible for their customers. I will, for sure, be coming back again and again. BTW, they recommended the Cubano, in a smaller mug, which made it very smooth and strong. It was paired with the cheesecake pound cake. PERFECT!

Delicious, smooth espresso and honestly the best baked goods I’ve ever had (will be coming back to try more, they have a big variety!) the space is cute, comforting, and eclectic. It's a lively, locally-owned coffee shop in Ahwatukee near Chandler. The shop serves a huge variety of coffee and tea with flavor combinations you won't get at the chain cafes. I ordered the rose cardamom latte and the flavors went so well with espresso. The cafe is small so it can get crowded with people on their laptops or studying. The morning I visited it was on the warm side inside but I got used to it. Tip, save some plastic and cardboard and order 'for here.'

  • 5/5 Ben S. 1 year ago on Google
I’ve been here twice and I cannot state enough how much of a joy it is coming here. The staff is always pleasant and helpful, the drinks are delicious and made with pride, and the baked goods are as tasty as they are unique. Seriously, even if you go for just the treats, they are made in-house using family recipes and are worth an hour drive alone. The picture posted is of their version of a tres leches, but made with rose water. It’s simply decadent and delectable! But, if nothing else, always try their seasonal lattes. They are perfectly made and always have a beautiful balance of flavors. Their current pumpkin latte is exactly the right blend of sweet and nutty, with a touch of cardamom that makes you feel like Fall inside and out. Oh, and for the coffee-avoider, they have an excellent selection of teas. Keep doing what y’all are doing! It’s truly wonderful!

Everybody is so friendly and helpful, and I've had only great interactions with fellow patrons as well. I look forward to waking up every morning just to go to WhereUBean :)

Everything about this place was really cool. The vibes of the staff was amazing. And I had the best lavender vanilla latte. I’ve had in a really long time.

Where U Bean is my favorite way to start the day! There's something extra special about this coffee shop and I have no idea how I'm going to survive once I move away from the area 😭 for now I get to enjoy the best coffee in the world made by the kindest people! 🥹❤️

EDIT: Wanted to revise my original review after going here a couple more times. I haven't encountered the original employee that made me feel unwelcome again, and all of the other employees/baristas are really nice and helpful! The coffee has been amazing every time and the atmosphere/interior is perfect to work and study in for a bit. This is definitely going to become a regular spot for me 😌 Original Review: I went here a few days ago to try out their coffee and had a mixed experience. The coffee was amazing (I ordered a Maple Cardamom Latte), but the service was not the best. The girl at the register really looked like she didn't want to be there and was a little short with me. I was also going to try a breakfast burrito, but they said they were out that day which was disappointing. The atmosphere is nice and cozy though and it's definitely some place I'd like to go back to to have some coffee and get some work/reading done. Not sure if I'll be back yet though because of how unwelcoming that employee was.

Everything is so beautiful! There's many great options :)!! Talking to the Baristas is always nice too! They have a beautiful cake with rose petals on top (Bombay Leches Cake). I tried their Matcha Latte, with Lavender syrup as well... IT WAS THE BEST! The music is peaceful, and it's a very welcoming environment.

Absolutely loved the vibe here and the coffee was super tasty. We also tried the zucchini bread and bread pudding and both were delicious. Found my new favorite coffee place. Great wifi too!

I always find myself coming back here! The drinks and desserts here are wonderful and the atmosphere is always lovely too. It's somewhat small, but the vibe is cozy and makes a great place to study or just to unwind. All of the employees are super sweet and helpful, too!
