Absolutely awful in every way! I never saw a doctor or left the waiting room - after waiting for 8 hours w/ serious symptoms. They mingled COVID patients in with non COVID symptomatic patients. Patients had to push each other to the bathrooms because the staff was so unhelpful. They were incredibly disorganized calling the same names 2-3 times. Reception, was the absolute worst and security was just awful. It was like not a single person wanted to be there or wanted to work their job! Unreal! After voicing my opinion they spitefully had me wait 2 additional hours. While “catching up son shift change 2 hours ago by ordering blood work” maybe they should start with the people there the longest. The ER filled up and emptied out 3 times in my 8 hour wait! They do NOT listen to their patients! Stay away from this place! It’s awful! I came here in 2017 and I can tell you this hospital is garbage! Picture below is an hour and half after talking to charge nurse only 1 patient the other person brought their partner in! So I wasn’t given care because I voiced my concerns! The lack of importance they give their patients is unbelievable. In 2017 they almost caused loss of feeling in my body because they wouldn’t give me an MRI - and I needed it - C6-C7 were imploded. If you value your life or anyone’s - don’t come here

Avoid this place at all cost. Been in the waiting lobby with my child from 10p to now 3:30a...no one has even listened to her lungs (my child had an airway reaction to either something she ate, dust or pollen). We finally were moved to what is deemed a "Fast Track" instead of sleeping in a waiting room chair...now sleeping in a lazy boy. I'd like to know that my child is fine...been sleeping now for 2 hrs. In 2 hours an acute care clinic will be open. Don't come here!!!!

Everyone was great but your provider Dr. Stimsonriahi has 0 compassion or bed side etiquette. Aside from talking to me like I was 5 years old it was obvious she didn't even look at my chart. I asked for another practitioner and "she was the only one" you raising your voice doesn't make me hear you any better. You brought that whole team down. It's sad you think it's okay to talk to people like that .I will be reporting you to the medical board.

Upon arrival with my 17 month old son. A nurse comes out to talk with us while checking in. I emphasized he was running a 104 fever and had a bad cough, with extreme irritability. The nurse said it’s been a long night seeing that the room was packed. Assuming there would be urgency due to a full house, there was none. Another male nurse, an older gentleman with that chrome dome balding sequence, is strolling around the room having fat chats with the spouses waiting of those being called back, at his leisure pace has no urgency, there was no set protocol followed. So after an hour of waiting I walk up and start confronting the lack of urgency, the lax strolling and the fact that he is standing there talking about non related medical subjects while my child is crying, running a fever and flipping out. After confrontation he comes and takes my sons temperature and word for word says,” 104.1 that can’t be right, HAHA, I need to speak to a nurse” after I throw another scene saying this is what I specified upon arrival over an hour ago, he walks back and then within 5 minutes, a room “miraculously” opens up and my son can be seen. If I had not gotten up and made a scene this would have not happened. The urgency, the way he handled it, the professionalism is derailing. These are medical professionals that people trust with their health. I’m understanding that it was busy, I was told to relax “it’s teething” and told I don’t know what I’m talking about. It turns out my son got his temp taken once brought back and running a 105.4 fever and was diagnosed with covid. The whole experience was terrible. So much for qualified medical professionals. Get the front line staff in check. This is how people slip through and end up under. Very concerned that these are the first line of support for the ill.

I wouldn’t even recommend coming here for the sole reason it doesn’t matter what is going on with you. You could be in labor, have a broken ankle, be vomiting bile, be schizophrenic even and they still won’t care. The front staff when I went were very rude and unhelpful to not just me but everyone. There’s no water access in the waiting room where you spend literally 6 to 10+ hours waiting to even see anyone. There’s no outlets (maybe just 1) in the whole room that you can use to charge your phone. So I mean hey, if you weren’t already dehydrated and sleep deprived before going there, surely you will be after waiting around for 10 hours and not seeing anyone. I left and went to an urgent care, and I was seen by a doctor in 37 minutes, got a prescription for cholecystitis. And was home getting better. Go to an urgent care. They’re better. 10/27/2023 Update: because I noticed this in the notes from my visit here I’ll be updating my review from 6 months ago when I had visited this hospital for help and didn’t get the help I needed. The snarky front desk lady (by the name of Missie C.) writes in my online chart rude remarks after I let her know I was leaving because it was taking too long after being there for almost 11 hours. I hope they honestly FIRE this “greeter” in the emergency care waiting room if they haven’t already that is, because she honestly shouldn’t have a job as a greeter if she’s just going to be rude after people who are suffering for half of a day if not more just to see a doctor in the waiting room. Missie C. I dearly hope you find a different career, because your lack of empathy and compassion/care for people is just pitiful and disappointing. I had been vomiting bile and was in their waiting room watching other people who also had serious conditions not be met either. A guy had an obvious broken ankle and wasn’t even being seen! I talked with him and he eventually called a cab to go to a different hospital. This hospital is actually one of the worst. If you can make the trip, go to the one on thunderbird. At least they care.

June 10 2022 The triage staff were okay, they of course were clueless about what was going on in the actual emergency room, or an idea of any time wait. I mean, it wasn't busy but I had now been waiting 2 and a half hours .. I had been sent to the ER, from Honor Health urgent care. I had stomach problems and was in alot of pain.. but honestly after such a long wait, I couldn't wait any longer, because there was no indication that I was going to be taken care of any time soon. I also realized that once I actually got in, it would have taken another 2 or 3 hours for tests to be taken and i would have had to wait for a response for the outcome. Of note , I am fully covered by health insurance but this is diabolical health care. I would never recommend this ER. If you can, go elsewhere.

This hospital’s physicians really need to be trained on compassion, how odd is that? The doctor kept assuming my son was on drugs. And hes never touched a drug in his life. This assumption blurred her ability to help my son who had a water bottle cap stuck in his throat. Asking him if he swallowed drugs & other drug related questions. The poor docs here have their own med-practices tainted by drug overdoses that they cant even practice ethically. I will be reporting everyone i encountered here. ONLY GO HERE FOR HELP WITH NARCOTICS. This should be turned into a methadone clinic while your at it…. **If you ever feel like a doctor is being unethical your best way to report them is to the department of health or write a letter to the attorney general if the department of Health is no help**

Got in fast but then was basically told I was wasting the doctors time. Saw doctor less than 5 minutes and she just wanted to tell me how I’m feeling isn’t her problem. While waiting for results in common area I heard other patients full names and what they were here from nurses. Took two days for the prescription to be sent to the pharmacy. Don’t waste your time going there find a better more caring hospital

Worst experience with an emergency room in my life! I had to take a co-worker to the place due to a cut on his hand that required stitches. We waited 12 hours to see a doctor and we were continually brushed off and ignored. The staff, the security and the facility were nasty! After 12 hours we took an Uber to the Thompson medical center and oh what a difference. Staff was friendly the facility was clean and although we never were able to see a doctor after 12 hours in Lincoln HonorHealth we were seen within 15 mins at Thompson. We are not local but wasted 12 hours without treatment, I wish we would have come to Thompson first!

I had been vomiting for two days, I couldn't keep anything down, not even sips of water. It got to the point where I hadn't had anything but I was still vomiting gross green liquid. Dr. Google told to me to seek immediate medical attention. I went to the emergency room at honorhealth around midnight, by 6AM I was still in the waiting room feeling awful. People who entered the waiting room 4 hours after me were being seen by doctors. I went to the front desk to discuss this situation and was told "the hospital is full" just as she was saying these words a woman who had come in five hours after me was being shown into the hospital. I went home, I'm still vomiting, I guess if I'm going to die it should be in the comfort of my own home.

Over five hour wait time even with heart palpitations and chest pain. They underestimated wait times by over an hour. Took multiple nurses and over 4 tries in both arms to get in IV. Hit the call button several times with heart arythmias and no one came. Staff seems to do everything at their own pace with no sense of urgency. All doctors and nurses said my EKG was 100% perfectly normal. Then nurse walks in to discharge me + I have to point out on the monitor MYSELF that I was having PVCs. Nurse "uhhhhm uhhh yeah so uhhh that's actually a PVC but there's still nothing we can do." Doctor claimed there's no medicine that could treat tachycardia + arrhythmia as needed- saw my cardiologist days later and was prescribed that very thing. Worst health care experience I've had.

Idk about others but I had a great first experience here, all things considered with my health. They got me in and registered very quick, and the tech Edgar, nurse Missy and the Dr. were all each helpful and understanding. Did not feel rushed or judged or anything, even with my medical issues being challenging. The only sliver keeping this from 5 star is the normal er bills to come and that the front desk first contact at registration gave off a less than thrilled to be there vibe - but it was also midnight when I arrived. Haha. Overall I'd recommend if you need an ER.

Despite the poor reviews I'd read, my experience wasn't bad. I went, during a weekday, about mid morning. The emergency room had 3 people in it, including myself. They took me through the usual paces: 1) registration (you're given a wrist band with name, birthday and allergies)and asked what brought to E.R. 2) temperature and blood pressure check. 3) Then you're taken to the back and wait until called where a nurse reviews medical history and problem symptoms then decides next course of action. Since I suspected I broke a rib, and the nurse's probing confirmed, off for CT scan I went. 4) The technician was a little impatient with my slow, painful transition to the CT bed and 2 orderlies came to assist. The scan was over in what seemed to be 5 minutes. Took me longer getting in and out of my scooter than the scan. Now it's back to the waiting room. 5) My name called and discharge papers, along with CT scan final results. The results were a lot more comprehensive than I thought. Yes, I had a left rib fraction. A rx given for pain relief patches. The answers to my questions weren't rushed. All in all, I believe I spent under a hour there. The best part for me is that my results are included in Honorhealth's mychart and easily accessible by my PCP and other specialists.

Is there any way to get this hospital closed down? If your loved one is admitted here good luck trying to find them. Called 7 times to the emergency room because it was told my dad got admitted to here and every time they connected us to the emergency room they pick up the phone and hang up. The hospital is useless.

This emergency room is the worst and most unwelcoming environment. I am 25 weeks pregnant and I sat here for 6 1/2 hours without being seen. I just walked out balling my eyes out because many people were put before me. A pregnant woman. There is one outlet for the entire emergency room so my phone died and there was nothing I could do. The bathroom reeked of urine and was a mess. I sat in a chair and was refused water and food for six hours. They would not even give me a pillow to ease my comfort. I’m extremely disappointed and when I’m on my death bed I will not even come here because I know I won’t be taken care of and I would rather die in the comfort of my own home. That’s how much i suggest you do not come here for care.

Upon arrival I was not able to find a wheel chair . I went inside and requested one to be told we are out. No assistance was offered to bring in the patient who had difficulty breathing and was struggling to walk with out aid. Once inside with this being shortness of breath issue we should have had atleast vitals checked immediately instead we were left to wait in the lobby for an unacceptable amount of time for someone that has serve breathing issues.

Absolutely the worst experience ever in an ER with my mother who had a fall. The worst. 4.5 hours and still waiting to get in. They definitely didn’t triage her right because a million people have jumped the line ahead of her. The security guard is completely no help won’t let us back to cafeteria - apparently too far to get up and walk and let us through the door. Vending machine wouldn’t dispense - not their problem. No compassion. I imagine once we get called back we’ll rot again for another several hours. I will never ever ever return to this place ever. Find another hospital! UPDATE: Once we got called back from the emergency waiting room and into the emergency room itself - the staff was wonderful. Same once my mom was admitted. It's just the emergency room itself... awful.

A HORRIBLE experience, EVERY TIME. There are never supervisors available and no one has ANY answers. EVER. Today, I was told my son & I can't go back with my girl because of rise in Covid cases but yet, they have longer wait times and less staff. Multiple people with less urgent matters seen ahead of her. THE WORST ER IN THE VALLEY.

I will never have a roommate again.

Absolutely appalled at their "patient care". I took my friend here who is a diabetic with gastroparesis and who is having an episode. Once she starts throwing up, she can't stop and it's very dangerous with her diabetes, specifically her kidneys. They discharged her after having her drink water to see did she could hold it down. She immediately DOES NOT keep it down and they still discharge her. Are you kidding me? She is still violently ill at my house after having to take a Lyft while still sick. This isn't the first time they have done this either. I'm absolutely disgusted by these people that are supposed to be looking out for the best interest of the patient. Very much feel this should result in a law suit and I will try my best to convince her to follow suit. If you can't do your job with kindness and compassion, find a new career. Disgusting.

This E.R doesn’t even deserve 1 star, it deserves 0!!!!! DON’T COME here!!! I was literally the only patient in the waiting room and didn’t get called for 3 hours!!!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES. Nurses are just walking around not doing a dam thing!!!!!!

My stay at the John C Lincoln was magical. The staff are all super friendly and not afraid to do their jobs. My physical therapist most likely saved me from needing pelvic surgery. They satisfied my peculiar dietary requirements and afforded me autonomy to move around, crawl on the floor, etc. I'm walking unassisted with multiple pelvic fractures four days post-accident. Thanks guys, you're the bestest!

We came in theER expressing that our 2 year old hit his head and vomited twice. We been waiting over an hour, when a lady walked in and said her back hurt and they took her to the back immediately. So i don’t understand how people are seen. Especially if many people been waiting in the waiting room longer than us, and she was seen instantly.

  • 1/5 Shantia W. 1 year ago on Google
They are rude and disrespectful here!! You will be waiting in the waiting room for well over 6 hours so, if you have a real emergency and your pain is as excruciating as mines was, your best bet is to go to Banner Hospital or any other hospital. I went here after having an allergic reaction to an antibiotic I was prescribed after an infected tooth extraction. I had a rash all over my body that itch and burn so bad that I could barely sit still on top of having a hard time breathing normally as well. I asked for a home remedy or advise on what I could run to a pharmacy and buy just to ease the pain so I could actually sit still and wait to be seen and they looked at me with no care and treated me as if I was a burden and didn't even give me any advise at all so I called Banner Hospital got advise and went there and was in and out within an hour. IF YOU NEED TO BE SEEN FAST DO NOT GO HERE I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!!!! NOT ONLY IS THE WAIT EXTREMELY LONG THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE COMING THERE NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE!!!!!

My 95 year old mother in law was having heart problems and we took her to John C. Lincoln. She had an excellent experience, and came home in better shape than she went in. She said the doctors and nursing staff were great! Thank you John C. Lincoln!
