This
clinic,
and
I
guess
all
minute
clinics,
cannot
administer
any
injections.
I
can
come
down
with
severe
allergy
attacks
and
have
tried
almost
all
OTC
allergy
medications.
The
list
of
things
I
haven't
tried
is
very
very
small.
This
includes
prescription
drugs.
The
FNP
pushed
for
Allegra
D
despite
my
concerns,
and
could
not
administer
a
steroid
shot
to
get
my
immune
system
to
calm
down.
Instead,
we
used
an
oral
alternative.
She
said
it
would
take
effect
a
"day
later",
where
the
last
time
I
got
a
shot,
my
allergies
vanished
within
hours.
I
tried
to
communicate
several
times
about
my
reservations,
that
my
allergies
are
quite
atrocious,
but
I
also
wanted
to
lend
my
trust,
nor
waste
my
time
waiting
in
a
different
urgent
care
(a
mistake
in
hindsight).
They
could
have
recommended
I
go
elsewhere,
but
they
seemed
convinced
this
would
work.
After
all,
if
I
don't
come
back,
I'm
cured
right?
Well
what
do
you
know,
I'm
lying
in
bed,
down
for
the
count,
taken
an
Allegra
D,
this
oral
steroid,
and
no
end
in
sight.
Take
care,
for
minor
things
I'm
sure
this
place
is
fine,
but
ultimately
you're
responsible
for
your
own
care,
particularly
if
it's
of
the
unfortunate
exceptional
variety.
I
likely
will
not
return.
