Horrible
experience.
Can
I
post
ZERO
stars!!
I
booked
a
Jeep
Compass
or
similar
vehicle
on
Expedia
months
earlier
knowing
that
the
Waste
Management
golf
tournament
was
going
on
the
weekend
before
I
arrived.
I
had
adjusted
my
vacation
to
accommodate
my
travel
plans.
Upon
arriving
at
Fox
Rent
A
Car
I
was
informed
that
no
vehicles
in
my
class
were
available
due
to
the
golf
tournament.
They
also
stated
they
donāt
even
rent
Jeeps
of
any
sort.
I
could
downsize
for
no
extra
cost
or
upgrade
for
an
additional
fee.
I
could
not
downsize
due
to
passengers
and
luggage
so
I
had
to
upgrade.
I
informed
Juan
(the
agent
I
dealt
with)
that
the
golf
tournament
ended
on
Sunday
and
this
was
Tuesday
so
why
werenāt
any
vehicles
in
my
class
range
available.
He
basically
said
ādo
you
want
the
upgrade
or
notā.
I
had
no
choice.
After
filling
out
the
paperwork,
we
headed
downstairs
to
pick
up
the
rental
vehicle.
A
Toyota
4Runner.
It
had
balding
tires,
dents
and
scratches
all
over
it.
I
asked
for
a
different
vehicle
and
the
lady
said
ānone
were
availableā.
I
looked
around
and
saw
many
vehicles
that
were
in
better
condition
and
they
same
vehicle
size.
I
requested
a
white
Toyota
4Runner
that
was
being
backed
into
a
spot
and
she
declined
my
request.
Got
into
the
vehicle
and
drove
off
the
lot.
Got
onto
the
interstate
and
the
front
end
shook
like
it
had
not
been
aligned
in
months.
The
vehicle
had
over
30,000
miles
and
drove
like
it
had
over
200,000.
After
looking
at
the
tires,
I
did
not
feel
safe
driving
my
family
in
this
vehicle.
After
a
couple
days,
I
drove
back
to
the
Phoenix
Airport
Rental
Car
hub
to
complain
and
request
a
different
vehicle.
I
had
called
and
complained
about
the
tires
losing
air
and
having
to
inflate
them.
Even
though
Fox
Rent
a
Car
has
a
policy
to
come
and
fix
flats,
provide
gas,
they
just
said
āgo
yo
a
filling
station
and
fill
the
tires
with
airā.
I
drove
to
the
garage
and
complained
to
the
attendant
about
the
lack
of
quality
of
the
vehicle
and
showed
them
the
tires.
She
did
not
speak
English
well
and
basically
directed
me
upstairs
to
the
agent
at
the
desk.
The
desk
agent
(which
turned
out
to
be
the
manager)
stated
no
vehicles
in
my
class
were
available
and
I
was
stuck
with
this
vehicle.
I
informed
him
of
the
issues
Iāve
had
with
the
vehicle
and
told
him
that
I
saw
other
vehicles
down
below
in
the
garage
that
were
ready
to
be
rented
that
I
would
except.
He
again
informed
me
that
no
vehicles
were
available
and
that
I
was
ābasically
stuckā
with
the
vehicle
I
had
until
I
returned
it.
I
told
him
that
the
front
end
was
totally
out
of
alignment,
the
tires
on
the
front
were
bald,
and
the
vehicle
was
unsafe
to
drive.
He
said
at
that
time
if
I
wanted
to
return
the
vehicle
I
could.
I
was
between
a
rock
and
a
hard
place
as
I
needed
a
vehicle
for
my
vacation
but
felt
totally
unsafe
driving
it.
See
picture
of
one
of
the
front
tire.
Totally
disappointed
with
this
rental
car
company
and
will
never
rent
from
them
again
putting
my
friends
and
family
in
danger.
Update:
After
I
got
home
and
filed
a
complaint
with
my
credit
card
company,
Fox
Rent
a
Wreck
absolutely
lied
to
my
credit
card
company
stating
I
REQUESTED
an
upgrade
and
I
should
have
called
and
spoke
to
a
manager.
I
did
call
the
Phoenix
Sky
Harbor
office
and
Corporate
office
and
also
drove
back
to
the
Phoenix
Sky
Harbor
Airport
location
to
speak
to
someone.
Still
fighting
this
bill.
