Certain times of the year I'm at the zoo walking every day. Its safe and I can quickly get 10,000 steps in and enjoy every minute! Every member of the staff including the volunteers are knowledgeable and they take the time to answers any questions that you have. I've been coming to the zoo since they opened in the 60's. It just gets better and better! I love Zoo Lights!

Our family really likes this zoo. It's a nice walk when the weather is breezy. During the summer bring plenty of water!! The camel rides are a great experience.

The zoo is a wonderful experience. The staffs were helpful and accommodating and will definitely get their annual pass and share the visit to family and friends. The tour was worth it, helps you see where you want to focus on right after it when you are on your own. Bring your hydroflask and make sure you use sunblock....its a great family trip and my kids are grown...

By far the best part of going to the zoo this time was the dinosaurs in the desert trail. My son is a dinosaur lover and has well over 400 of them and so we literally walked the trail 4 times in a row lol the animatronics is phenomenal and tremendously well done and that trail is definitely 10 star worthy!! πŸ’– ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

I've been too zoo's across the country and this is the first one where it was a little hard to see the animals...why because they care to give them more space and places to hide should they want less human interaction. When you see the animals it's special. They don't seem stressed out or sad. The staff works hard to come up with fun things for them to do. They give interactive information for the kiddos that make the animals seem close.

Pretty normal zoo. Very clean. Many places to chill at (not many have shade though ). Couldn’t see most the bigger animals because they weren’t there or they weir hidden but I had a great time - just wish everything was included for the price of tickets. They have many smaller attractions that you have to pay separately. But makes sense. The camel riding was fun wish they had a larger area for it. Will probably go again but with more money to try more stuff out

This is by far the best zoo we have been to. When we lived in Scottsdale, our family had a membership and went often. My son regularly talks of the zoo and how much he misses it! The conservation work is impressive and it is such an amazing experience for kids and adults. When we visit AZ we will be back! My son had his 3rd birthday here and it was really well done.

Other than being 35$ per person the zoo was good!

Beautiful experience. Animal lovers retreat. Best to try & Gage when it's the most appropriate time to visit the zoo, because just like people the animals will linger in the distance as if they don't want to be bothered or displayed. Great getaway though.

Great for all ages. Recommend buying tickets online in advance. AND they allow you to bring in water bottles and coolers making them a great value.

I attended for the zoo lights, the park was saturated with people, apparently they had 2 hospital employees there and the regular public, someone told us that there was over 13,000 people there, it was a mad house and honestly it felt unsafe. With that amount of people the bathrooms got overwhelmed, pathways over crowded and just not a good experience. I definitely got reminded why we have not been there in many years and there be many more before I ever consider going back.
