    The must insulting and demeaning staff I have ever encountered. I stopped into Saks 6/20/2023 looking to browse around and possibly purchase some new cologne. I was browsing through the fragrances and was helped by a lady in that department. We spent some time going through different scents most of which I didn't especially care for. There was one that I came across that I liked and decided that I would purchase that one (Bond). I mentioned to the sales girl that was going to be my pick and she said that it was $450/bottle (3.4 oz). I was kind of set back on the pricing on this. I liked it but didn't LOVE this scent. I let her know that I would pass on this one because I really wasn't looking to spend more than $200 on a cologne unless I absolutely LOVED IT. Her response to that was "well you just save your little pennies until you're able to save up enough to come back into this store and purchase something like this" I was shocked, I just thanked her for her time and left. This was the most demeaning thing I have ever had happen to me in a store. I was dressed in khakis and a polo shirt, I work in corporate sales for a luxury brand, and was presented nicely. I feel like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. I'm absolutely APPALLED that someone working the fragrance counter at a department store could have the audacity to say something like this. I shop at Saks somewhat frequently and I WILL NEVER BE BACK! Neiman Marcus just gained themselves a new customer.

    This is mostly the ghost of a store, and a hangout place for employees to chat. Extremely limited selection, when you do find something you may want, good luck trying it on as they now keep the fitting rooms locked and unattended. Employees are grouped together telling stories, laughing it up but not one can be bothered with customers. I ended up laying my selections on the counter next to a register, 4 employees standing 20 feet away, not one willing to help, so I left.

    beautiful store but good luck trying to reach them by phone to see if something is in stock 😅 was on the phone for 20 minutes calling and no one at Chanel ever picked up my call… guess I’ll stick to neimans

    Mmmmm….this store do not have normal sizes you need to be size 0 or 4 ….I was lucky to find a size large but there was not variety and you need a lot,a lot of money to do shopping here!!     The staff in the women’s shoe department were very unprofessionally dressed, wearing a hoodie and shorts. The only way I knew he worked there was because he was wearing a name tag. I was never asked if I needed help. When I asked for help I tried on two different sizes. I decided to purchase a pair and he told me to pick up the other shoes off the floor and bring them to him so he can put them away. I expect exceptional customer service for a luxury department store, and the experience was disappointing to say the least.

    THE ABSOLUTELY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE - IM AM TELLING YOU AVOID THIS COMPANY - I placed an order online which qualified for a gift card, I entered the promo code at checkout and it wasn't working. Contacted customer service for help, received a response to contact them later, I contacted them a second time was told my issue was escalated and I would hear back in 3-5 days, a week goes by no response. I went into the store and they said nope, can't help you, call this number. I called the number and it was incorrect sent me to an insurance company. It has now been 3 weeks with no response, I contacted customer service again and they either just stop responding or say sorry not eligible anymore. Completely incompetent and an absolute joke. Im telling you avoid this company, stop giving them your money and business, they don't deserve to be in business.

    LIES, & absolutely reprehensible behavior from multiple employees. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever been a part of. I came into the store to return a $500+ wallet I had been gifted a few moths ago (remember this as it is an important detail) that was now falling apart. I was immediately told "we do not accept any returns that have been used" after showing the poor quality and durability of the product I was told to "go look for customer service around the corner" which I was later told "We dont really have customer service here, its more of a back of house thing" after explaining and showing a "manager", another employee (an older lady from another department walking by) stopped and interrupted us stating that she remembered me. She then said that she was the one that helped me with this purchase but I was now brining a different item back. This was a blatant lie because It was my girlfriend that purchased this item for me and I had NEVER seen nor dealt with that particular employee. After I brought this to everybody's attention the employee said something under her breath I can only assume was a rude or derogatory remark and walked away. I am just blown away that this is the type of service that is acceptable from this establishment. I will absolutely be contacting the BBB, as well as any other source to ensure this is dealt with and is not allowed to continue. In the meantime, save your time and a headache and shop ANYWHERE ELSE than here. INCREDIBLY DISGUSTED.

    Helpful and friendly employees (obviously commission driven), but were out of stock on the Kiehls items I needed. Total waste of a trip. Call ahead and speak to someone to ensure they have what you need - before you drive here. Annoying.

    Worst customer service in the whole world Their app sucks , I ordered a perfume and they sent an open used bottle I called them and they offered either a 10% percent off or a return that’s gonna take a whole month The app gives you no option for free shipping you have to use the regular website and is absolutely horrible in terms of looking for something How could you send a used open bottle ? I want to give you a zero honestly Walmart has better customer service!!!!

    Edit: I’ll give two stars as the staff in makeup and scents are lovely people and deserve the best but the men’s department staff cannot be bothered and after todays visit I’d just as soon find my own way. Standing at the counter surrounded by several employees, I received no acknowledgement or even a simple "I'll be right with you." Instead, I was passed over for the next customer deemed more important, as if my time wasn't valuable. Despite waiting patiently, my presence next to the desired item in the display case was completely ignored by the staff at Saks Outlet in the Biltmore.

    Best service here is by Clarence. Shocked by the other staff and the way I was communicated with over three visits. I’ve been sent to different employees to ‘help’ me with a pickup order, the tone and delivery is shocking. I understand it’s slow, and probably not a high revenue time in the summer, but it’s no excuse to be dismissive. I was sent upstairs, downstairs again, upstairs again, and back downstairs- I’m just shocked that no one could give me an answer on where my orders were.

    I want to give the stylist I work with a 5 star rating but I'm leaving a review because of a negative experience. I'm giving the 3 stars off of him alone. He's knowledgeable about styles and brands, and he's personable. He is who you want to work with. I have been coming into the saks excited to shop with my favorite stylist but every time I come in he is working in a different department. Which is odd to me because he's exceptional in the section he helps me in and this makes it impossible to be able to work with him. It seems that certain people are moved around consistently and some are not (seems like favoritism/ageism or something). I have been to quite a few Saks and none seem to run like this one. This one is depressing... It seems a little out of date/touch. The workers do not look happy or excited they look sad. The store doesn't have the brands or items most do which is disappointing because they have the audience! Oh and it is hot in there! In Arizona... you walk into a hot Saks Fifth Avenue.. Do better this is not a luxury experience whatsoever.

    One of the best Saks experiences I've had. Such a lovely space and love the smaller vibe. This location is not too busy every time I've went and I've always got top notch customer service. Not too pushy, let me take my time, offer water, etc. The fendi boutique was especially nice to make a purchase from.

    My experience was superb! I actually phoned in a order regarding a dress that I seen in the store a few weeks back. A sweet lady by the name of Dana had placed my order for me. She was super helpful with my order and even sent me photos of other items I was interested in. She also set up the pickup once delivered to another Saks in the state I was located in at the time. So I knew exactly the name of the person who would have my package once my order was delivered. This was all so great but what really made my heart melt was not the beautiful Chanel dress but a wonderful goodie bag along with a handwritten card. Now this is what exceptional service looks like! :) I will definitely shop with Dana again when I return home. She made such a simple day into such a memorial experience.

    I went there looking for some jeans and they only had small sizes and I’m not over weight just tall. The lady told me to come back on Tuesday when their new shipment comes in. It’s hard for me to make it there before closing on weekdays so I’ll just have to find some jeans somewhere else. Highly disappointed

    I went in to get a fragrance and was greeted warmly by a lovely woman named DARLA made my experience so pleasant and genuine vibez she didnt make me feel she was in it for the sale of course 🥰 I work in sales and that's super important to a guests experience. She was professional and I wont be goin anywhere for.this fragrance again now she sold me💯 thank you darla

    Belle is amazing, she was fantastic today. I went in looking for a new scent I had a few in mind. She was extremely helpful and open to my ideas and what profiles I was looking for. She led me into some great profiles and took me to a brand I didn’t know and found something that was very unique but exactly what I wanted! She is an asset and was very attentive to ever thing I asked. She spent a good 40 minutes with me helping me decide. She should be very valued by this location as her customer service was above and beyond!

    Worst customer service I been there 3 times at Chanel store I bought 3 purses from there ,when you walk in they don’t even say hi to you and when I asked to see the purse they look at you down like you don’t have money to buy Special the guy is manager not friendly at all I saw him 3 times still act so mean,don’t even said one word to me ,just look at me every step I walk ,if this store be nice and good service I will go there more often And I like the purse there is very nice but service make me don’t want to go back now

    The customer service isn’t what it used to be! My mother took me shopping at Saks in Chicago all the time when I was growing up. I remember the fashions were always amazing and the service was impeccable. However, now it just seems to be overpriced clothes with snotty customer service. My husband and I stopped by to see if I could exchange a dress for a smaller size. We went the day after Christmas and I was hoping to get it by New Year’s Eve. The older white lady acted as though I was bothering her with my request. I’m not sure if she was doing it because I’m Black or what! In any event, I was quite disappointed in her less than stellar assistance!!

    Incredibly unprofessional and unhelpful staff. I went to look at shoes today with my mother and the ladies at the shoe department were rude and did not acknowledge me. They later came up to me saying their online orders were more important than helping me find boots. It’s beyond me how this type of customer service is accepted- save your time, money, and energy. I’d rather have a genuine luxury experience at Nordstrom or Neiman. This place is a joke.

    This place is trash! Save yourself a headache and drive to Nordstrom in Old Town. I purchased a jumpsuit here and the zipper broke after one wash. I attempted to return or exchange and was told no because it was over 30 days since I purchased. I feel defective products should have an exception, especially when it was $200. I was told a manger would call me to discuss and never heard from anyone. I went directly to the designer on IG and they are taking care of the issue. At least the designer stands behind their product if Saks won’t.

    If your gonna shop here for men’s clothing, ask for Ernesto. Ernesto is one the nicest guys I’ve met in sales. He’s super friendly, professional, respectful and most importantly patient. Ernesto will work with you on what your style is and will make recommendations without being pushy. He is also an excellent communicator, Ernesto got in touch with me via text to schedule times to come to store and try stuff out. He truly cares about what I like and always makes sure that I am happy with my purchases. I would highly recommend Ernesto for anyone looking to shop here. My experience with him was remarkable. Thank you Ernesto! I will be returning again soon!

    The woman who helped me pick out a perfume for my mother was so classy. She speaks at least three languages fluently. Just walking in to the store from the second floor of the garage, the beauty of the store really sets it apart from others. Still the courtesy and professionalism of the staff is not condescending.

    I purchased a cologne for my boyfriend for Christmas, we returned it for a travel size ($400), I did not have the receipt on me but I did have my card, no problem. He decided he didn’t want the cologne at all, I go to the store to return and had awful customer service and they were trying to return to a gift card even though they could see the purchase on my debit card. I said No I would prefer on my card, The manager Christine was awful, she continuously cut me off, while I was explained the situation. I finally had to ask if I could complete my sentence. She just said “I’m the manager I say no, I don’t know what they do at Nordstrom’s or Macys, but I am not going to return this item because the box was opened. The cologne was full and the store had opened it to show us the size when we purchased it, it had never even been sprayed. I did find my receipt when she told me no, and she still said no. And please. Know during this exchange I didn’t raise my voice and I was not rude. I called my boyfriend upset by the service, he came there to speak to someone else explained the situation, two ladies agreed there was no reason to not return the cologne, they did in fact return the cologne for me. I was most upset because I’m sure the service was due to me being dressed down and in sweats and I wasn’t dressed like I shop at Saks I prefer to be comfortable over dressing for others. I never write negative reviews but I also believe in good customer service especially if we are spending the money that we do at Saks. I am thankful for the two ladies who treated me kindly but Christine should not be in a manager role if she is going to rude to customers who aren’t dressed to the nines to come do a return.

    I was in for a gift return, and was told something which I have never heard before from a department store, or any return policy… As I was returning a gift, and didn’t have the receipt…the cosmetics agent told me that she was only going to refund A PORTION of the total amount (in $$$). I still can’t understand how (or even IF) this is an actual part of Saks’ return policy…but beware of not having your receipt.

    This is the worst costumer service that exist. I was there in cosmetic department dealing with Bella and assistant store manager. Bella was at least polite but assistant store manager should NOT even be hired at Ross far away from this store. He is terrible. Very disappointed stay away.

    Love this location. Always clean and great customer service for the most part. Only complaint is they seem to be understaffed in the mens department. Boyfriend and I were waiting for someone to assist us for 15 minutes

    I've been shopping this location for decades. While it's a reliable experience with attentive staff and designer products, these days their inventory is sparse at best. Yes, I know, pandemic, online, etc., but this store has much less to shop than local similar stores. For example, the footwear section has a few of the brands you'd expect, but so little to choose from that you can't rely on finding something. It's a giant space with very bleak inventory. It's quite sad, actually. Handbag selection is great with some of the store-in-store options you'd expect like Fendi and Chanel. A limited selection of ready to wear options are on hand like Dolce & Gabbana, Derek Lam, etc. If you're looking for more inventory, take the short drive up to Scottsdale Fashion Square and visit NM.
