I came two days in a row! First day I tried the new Orleans style cold brew. Its probably the best (or top 3) cold brews I've tried! Second day I went hot and they have a special drink menu on the counter and there is a pear drink. Sounds strange, right? But it was really good. Mellow sweetness, which is good. Will be back next week. I have been before but we'd moved and I hadn't remembered how great the coffee is. Saw some comments about location, but I think its great! Easy to get parking, easy to locate, near major cross streets and the 51. As long as my commute allows me to get close enough, ill be coming more often.

Such a sweet spot with great people and great tasting coffee. I appreciate the depth of the coffee flavor. Had a quad shot latte with vanilla - it was great 👊🏼. The apple pie pop tart was amazing. They have gluten free pastries. Baristas we’re super cool and friendly. Good study space whether inside or outside.

Clean modern and unique little spot, easy close parking. Friendly staff, and unique flavors, I ordered an iced mocha turns out the 16 oz comes with 4 shots 👌🏼 and had to try a pastry. We got a raspberry hibiscus pop tart and it did not disappoint.

Your perfect coffee shop for just about anything. I loved how friendly and knowledgeable the baristas were! The drinks were beautiful crafted and reasonably priced for what you get. The ambiance was chill, casual. A great place to have a date, study/work, or hang out. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Their syrups are made in house and quite flavorful! I got a 16oz iced vanilla latte with oat milk and it included 4 shots! The flavors of the coffee were really nice and complemented their homemade vanilla syrup. They used reusable glasses in store and plastic for to go orders. I love the sustainability aspect and love the glasses and cups they came in - felt high class and of quality.

Such cool vibes at this coffee shop! Coffee is really good - their drip is on the lighter side perfect with cream. Minimalist - Blue Bottle like environment. And their pastries are to die for. Their pastry chef is of James Beard acclaim and it’s very evident. I ordered their cream danish w/fruit. On the pricier side of coffee places but definitely worth the trip

There was an entrance on the main road but no streetside parking but they are attached to the parking garage with free parking & an entrance from the parking garage too. Stopped in and grabbed a couple cups of coffee and some sweet treats. I have been thinking about this Suss Peanut Butter Mesquite cookie since I had one there. The coffee was great! There were a lot of students studying on the inside so we opted for a seat on the street and enjoyed our time there!

The coffee here will change your life! So so good! Sea salt caramel latte was incredible because you got to taste the caramel but it in no way hid the flavor of their amazing espresso. I don’t like iced coffee but their Nola iced coffee was really good. Homemade peach pop tart was super delicious

Definitely a fun coffee shop with something for everyone! Enjoyed the yummy treats and overall great atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back. It seems that this is one of the businesses below the "Art on Highland" Apartment Complex, and luckily, there's a great parking garage behind the location. Very convenient to come in through the back door for the store. Little bit on the pricier side (especially if you are getting both a pastry and craft / larger drink), but definitely you can taste the quality of both foods and drinks. Way better than options at your average chain coffee spot.

This has to be the best experience I’ve ever had at a coffee shop. The barista gets top marks from me. He was so sweet, patient, and had us sample the coffee! I can tell that he loves what he does. He customized the the Turmeric latte to my friends taste. My only complaint is that I wish it was open later, because it is the perfect study space. I could spend hours here. Cute esthetic plants and succulents decorate the space. The music was not obnoxious, and the people were so considerate.

Came here last minute because I was stranded without Wi-Fi working on a project and this place saved Me !! The matcha is EXCELLENT !! I go to places for matcha specifically and this place has amazing matcha. The baristas work so hard to make everything amazing and the atmosphere put Me at ease so quickly. Went here for breakfast and it was a nice experience. The coffee was excellent and fairly priced. The service was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The location is convenient, clean, and modern with free parking. My only issue was the cost of the pastries which was 40% more than the cost of the coffee, and the pasties we had were just average... nothing memorable. Next time we will go just for the coffee.

Such a great place to get my work done and have my pets with me so I can feel superior to my day. This shop was almost too chill and the music spot on. The customers this day were all fabulous and nice and respectful. The place is very popular so get here early. Area is very clean and organized -staff are following all codes and safe food and drink handling. Food options are tasty! Plenty of charge ports.

This is a fantastic Phoenix coffee shop. First, the coffee is amazing and the folks serving it actually know their stuff. Espresso is perfectly dialed in, milk is perfectly frothed. There are so many valley coffee shops with the price tag but no knowledge of coffee or proper preparation. Not the case here! Great drink selection as well. Everything is served in a bright, airy space with ample seating and great light. Perfect playlists at a comfortable volume. Acoustics of the space are good. And since this is Phoenix, the shaded ground-level parking area is a huge bonus.

When I first moved to Phoenix, I stumbled across Moxie on a morning walk. The baristas were so welcoming, kind, and gave me so many local recommendations to help me get settled in the area. Their coffee and espresso is roasted on site and could not be better. Their interior is big, open, and dog friendly. It’s a great place to work. I’ve since moved out to the East valley and frequent Moxie whenever I’m in the area! Moxie Owners— Greater Phoenix needs more local coffee spots, please come to Gilbert! :)

I tried the New Orleans and didn’t like the aftertaste. I believe it’s a cold brew with vanilla and cream. I did enjoy how easy it was to find parking in its own designated covered retail lot, the friendly customer service, and the easy-going ambiance of the whole place. I think it would be a great place to work or study. I also really liked the ham and gruyere cheese pastry. Also love that they do not charge extra for dairy alternatives! I would definitely like to come back and try other drinks and pastries! 🙂

Ordered the NOLA style cold brew and chorizo egg pop tart. Both were delicious. A friend tried another one of their specialty drinks and it was also so good! The atmosphere is great for working solo or hanging with some buddies. Parking is easy

What I adore about this coffee shop is how mindful and genuinely respectful their baristas are. Sometimes that's lost in speciality coffee shops. However, they do a great job of serving amazing coffee while still maintaining great customer service. Being in the industry as well and knowing how coffee farmers can be super exploited, I love that Matt (the owner) is very mindful of where he buys beans from to roast and keeps it very personal between himself and the farmers. They're very mindful about helping provide living wages to farmers and their families. I love this shop. Also - the drinks are to die for. Honey chai latte is insane. I also love their espresso tonics, "sodas", teas and lattes.

Really cool roaster/shop. Love the open concept… it’s super spacious in here. The coffee is good, too! Only gripe is that their lattes are pretty dang expensive, especially if you want to add anything to them. A large latte is 5.25, and if you want oat milk and vanilla we’re talking damn near 8 dollars for latte. Apart from that, it’s dope!

Obsessed with this place. We have come here for the past 6 Sundays in a row for coffee and pastries. It is such a relaxing space and everything we have tried has been delicious. We met Matt on our first visit and he gave us a little mini coffee class and made recommendations for ground coffee bags. He even ground them at a specific size when I mentioned I was going to be using them to make cold brew so that the fine particles wouldn’t escape my mesh filter. All of the bags I’ve tried have been incredible. I usually drink my cold brew without any creamer or sweetener just to avoid the extra calories, but I didn’t exactly enjoy it and kinda just suffered through it for the caffeine. But now that I’m making my cold brew with Moxie’s ground coffee I actually love it straight and don’t feel like I’m missing out at all by skipping the creamer. You can tell he puts a lot of passion into their coffee selections. Can’t wait to return tomorrow for our new favorite Sunday tradition!

Excellent coffee, the puff pastries were good. Seen them in almost every coffee shop in Phoenix 😂 Recommendation for the shop: setting a more welcoming atmosphere can be as simple as saying hello and goodbye to customers. Other than that this is a great central place to go for coffee. Definitely would go again

Beautiful shop with a great amount of seating! I got the drip coffee (highly suggest) Also love their Diedrich Roaster out on display. I will have to swing by when they are roasting.

Matt, owner, can roast and brew a solid cup of coffee, super friendly guy. It's a nice joint, support your local roasters. The patio out front is good spot to read a book and let the world pass by for a bit.

When I tell you this is my FAVORITE coffee shop of all time, I am not kidding!!! Their coffee and pastries are CONSISTENTLY ALWAYS GREAT! They do everything with such attention to detail and they never miss. Order ANYTHING off their menu and you won’t be disappointed. Their baristas are so cool and friendly. Love everything about the place

Favorite coffee shop in Phoenix! The coffee is always superb. Never over extracted, milk is always perfectly foamed. The space is lovely, the WiFi is fast, and the people who work here are kind and welcoming!

Beautiful coffee shop with a small selection of excellent baked goods and coffee. This was our best coffee experience in Phoenix after a week of being here. Coffee was strong without being bitter. Coffee cake and chocolate croissant were also the best baked goods we had here as well! I got a cafe latte with oat milk and it was absolutely delicious. This is a great place, the croissant and coffee cake were a perfect start of the day for my wife, myself, and my daughter. Service was friendly and the interior space with high ceilings is beautiful. Even the plates and coffee mugs are heavy in a good way.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful! Normally I drink black coffee but I wanted to try something different and they took the time to ask me questions and find out what I would like. The Moxie is located under the Highland apartments and they have dedicated retail parking in the garage right at the shop entrance. Enter off Highland Ave to park.
