I'm a AMTA Board member for Missouri's Chapter and I came in for our 80th annual AMTA Massage Therapy edu convention. The convention center is HUGE. The accommodations were vast and they were able to hold many classes for different massage modalities and the classrooms were clean, professional and spacious. The bathrooms were always clean. Staff were well put together, professional and kind. AMTA, you all did an amazing job setting this up!

Watched the Sleeping Beauty ballet today, and it was wonderful! I took my 3 kids and they were captivated! The costumes, sets, orchestra, props and talent were first class. The staff were friendly and helpful also. It was a wonderful afternoon at Symphony Hall!

It was located in downtown Phoenix, so if you plan on going, there would be a few street parking($5.5/3 hours) if you are lucky or you could park in the West Convention garage for $15(maximum for a day). Occasionally the Convention center was full and we parked at Chase parking lot across the street and it cost $30. Please be mindful of it. It has 2 stories and the service there was exceptional. Snacks and drinks were served on either side of the hall, you could not miss them. Water with ice and disposable cups were provided (for free). We went there to attend the French Connection which Tito Muñoz conducts the program focusing on the rich and influential French musical tradition. They also had a guest cellist Jay Campbell who is the soloist for Henri Dutilleux's Tout un monde lointain. Our seats were right in the middle of Row 8 so we had a great vision of the whole performance. The Symphony Hall is not a grand place compared with New York Broadway, however, it's equipped with up-to-date equipment and the performers they invited were excellent. It would be great for families and friends to spend 2-3 hours there during the weekend.

I attended the Latin Fire performance and it was outstanding!! Everyone there was very friendly and gracious. The pre show performances were also very breathtaking! I'll definitely be visiting more often!

First orchestra ever, place is beautiful, staff are friendly but my only complaint was the seats. Being 2 hours gets very uncomfortable lol, I don’t know how someone can sit so long on those cushions. Also if you have drinks , there are no cup holders. Have to pay for parking!!! Overall a great experience ☺️! I will be returning to see more live music .

There's a large parking lot right across Second Street, making it easy to access the theater. The conference center is also directly connected (without having to step outside). The main hall is very spacious and modern.

A great evening. The orchestra was absolutely amazing playing John Williams compositions. Go, enjoy, and hear the auditory satisfaction of the Phoenix Symphony!

I went to go see the nutcracker but my view was extremely obstructed. I asked about moving seats during intermission either to the back of the room or any available 2 seats for me and my Mom but I was told that’s not possible, even though there were multiple empty seats in my area. (This was by no means the lady in fronts fault she wasn’t intentionally trying to block me)

Was easy to park and walk to. When we went in, we knew right where to go. Love when places keep confusion to a minimum! The Nutcracker was performed well and helped get the season started! Would go back again!

Symphony Hall was great as usual. The Mambo Kings played with the Phoenix Symphony and it was lovely and energetic. Helpful staff and great precautions. We recently saw the John Williams showcase conducted by Tito Munoz, and it was quite lovely. A fun interactive experience earlier was had and butter beer was served for the Harry Potter crowd (cream soda Dr Pepper with vanilla ice cream floats).

This place is great. Just saw the Distant Worlds, Music from Final Fantasy concert. Taking away 1 star for only offering Pepsi products. Pepsi is awful, and I just wanted a Coca-Cola.

Wonderful evening. Bought a seat up in the nosebleeds, and the acoustics are so perfect that I could hear footsteps from the front stage.

Beautiful venue, great seating and acoustics. I have attended several ballet and symphony performances there; I did not believe there is a bad seat anywhere. I highly recommend parking in the Civic Plaza West Garage on east side of 2nd St, south of Monroe St because there is an elevator which takes you directly from the garage to Symphony Hall lobby. Allow extra time, downtown can be a traffic mess.

The place is nice. The chandelier lights are pretty. The staff were friendly. My view wasn't so great. A tall man was sitting in front of me, which blocked most of my view. And the performance room could be more dim.

Attended the nutcracker show. Very nice hall, well designed and they had volunteers there to help guide us to our seats, the restrooms, etc. Parking was also conveniently located beside the building.

Great Nutcracker experience! I like that there are things I see and do before the show and during intermission. The actual theater is big with great sound. The balcony seats are really long rows that if during the show, a person will have to go through quite a bit of people. Other than this small feature, it is a good facility to watch theater shows.

Nutcracker Ballet was wonderful. We weren't expecting the security lines checking bags. They were turning people away because their purses were too large. They almost didn't let my bag in. We took the train into town so I don't know where I would have stashed my purse during the performance if they hadn't allowed me in with it.

The Phoenix Symphony (TPS) is Arizona’s only full-time, professional symphony orchestra and the state’s largest performing arts group. Founded in 1947 as a part-time orchestra in a city of fewer than 100,000 people, the Phoenix Symphony performed at Phoenix Union High School for the first 25 years of its existence. The Symphony came of age in 1972 when it moved into the newly built Symphony Hall and hired Mexico City native Eduardo Mata as conductor.

I like this venue for different occasions that I've attended such as a concert that the orchestra held or the Arizona Ballet. Beautiful place and the acoustics are great. The only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is because after purchasing a beverage or bite to eat you can not bring it into the main hall and their bathrooms are few are far between. The ladies line takes as long as the intermission to get through sometimes. Heaven forbid you have a disability or need to get there in a hurry. If you buy a soda, it comes from a can into a cup and you won't get the whole can's worth and they will charge you five bucks. Not worth the flat, warm soda I got. Yuck. Plus it's Pepsi....😖Other than that, its fantastic. The volunteers are always amazing as well.

This is our new favorite place to go in Phoenix for a good time! We always have something nice to do on the weekends. We love the atmosphere and the people here. Parking is never an issue, either. The Halloween event was amazing! It's nice to have an event that adults and whole families can go all out and dress up for on the holiday without being surrounded by people in extremely inappropriate or grotesque costumes.

This is a bit pricey as far as things to do in Phoenix but if you live in the area you should at least go once. The music was lovely and a great chance to dress up, but there was definitely a spectrum of how fancy people came. I liked the come-as-you-want attitude. The ushers are so helpful and always seem to treat everyone with kindness. The musicians always seem delighted to perform and their enthusiasm is definitely felt in the music. There's always a few shows a year that are specifically for kids. Those shows are great for the extra giggles and the dressed up kids.

The shows and site allow for a beautiful experience. The seats are VERY close together. The tickets are kind of pricey. We've paid less for a lot of concerts. This combined with 4$ water bottles, and bottom shelf wine in sample cup sizes for 9$ is a bit excessive. The restrooms were pretty below expectation as well. Overall we loved the show experiences we've had but the price point is pretty terrible for the experience.

Have been here a few times! Here for the FF7 concert tonight and it's so clean and pretty. Employees seem super helpful too. Merch line is absolutely insane though lol.

With my family being big Disney fans, this was top tier performance. My children ages 9 and 11 had a good time. Having watched Coco many times prior, this was as if it was our first time. You were able to better feel the music with the moving. Our family will be looking forward to the next great performance.

Top notch, concert hall, top notch amenities, top notch beverage selection, top notch CEO, and most importantly - TOP NOTCH MUSICIANS! Thank you Phoenix Symphony Hall for a wonderful show and date night experience for my wife and I.

Wonderful experience last night at the ballet. The production was based on the music of Mexican singer and songwriter Juan Gabriel. I speak no Spanish but you could feel the music. People in the audience were even singing. The choreography was fantastic. You could tell the dancers had fun with this one.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at Symphony Hall at the performance of the "Nutcracker Ballet," a classic Christmas story. The Nutcracker is loosely based on the Hoffmann fantasy story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, which is about a girl who befriends a nutcracker that comes to life on Christmas Eve and wages a battle against the evil Mouse King. The Nutcracker turns into a prince and takes Clara on a journey to the Land of Snow, an enchanted forest wonderland where they are welcomed by dancing snowflakes. The performance was wonderful; the dancers and set designs were marvelous, and Symphony Hall is a perfect setting for holiday magic, and the production will leave you with sugar plum fairies dancing in your head. It is important to bring your Covid-19 vaccination card with you, or you will have to take a rapid Covid-19 test prior to entering at a complimentary booth set up for patrons. It took about 15 minutes to complete, and face masks are mandatory as well. Event parking is $15, and the performance is about 2 1/2 hours long.

I enjoyed my first trip to the symphony! It's a beautiful hall, and the performance I saw was wonderful. However, it was rather warm inside the hall, and I was sweating while sitting in my seat. I am usually cold most places I go. My friend and I spent the entire intermission in line for drinks and barely made it back to our seats in time. There should be more people helping at the bar stations. Having the same person both make drinks and handle money is a bit ridiculous and slow. I will give it another try based on the quality of the performance.

What a beautiful venue. Everybody was so nice and helpful. Along with parking in the Convention Center parking lot, the elevator exits right in the lobby of the Symphony Hall.

This venue is amazing. No view is bad. There are quite a number of great operas, symphonies, and artists that come through Phoenix and perform here. Don't miss out. It is a pricier venue, but we'll worth it. Treat yourself. There is always a bar open before and during intermission.

Absolutely gorgeous inside! The ambiance was outstanding and it is extremely well maintained. If you have the ability to get seats in the very top upper level, that's truly the best. all-encompassing view of the stage. We went to see The Nutcracker, performed by AZ Ballet.

Went and saw the nutcracker there last week and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I rarely go to plays or ballets but this venue was very exquisite with the chandeliers in the lobby and the overall layout of the place. There are ushers that can direct you around as well as some refreshments and wine, depending on the event I guess. My biggest surprise was the seating in the hall itself. The seats are fairly comfortable and wider than most places. (Coming from a BIG and TALL fellow). There's not much more to say this place is nice and pleasant with parking garages not too far away. Which brings me to my only con. - No free parking (but you're in Phoenix so no duh) Overall I am actually excited to book tickets to video game symphony and come back to this place.
