Good music. Pole dancers and live performance. Only thing which we din like about was the waitress asked to play Connect 4 and if we loose we had to buy more shots. Luckily we realised this was a scam to rip off money. So we politely paid the bill and exited this place. Location was good, first pub in Bangla road.

Please do not drink here. As a group of 5 who played ‘games’ with the staff we were absolutely ripped off beyond belief and threatened with the police. The staff said they would buy our drinks after we lost playing connect 4. They did not buy our round of drinks and proceeded to charge us for the round. We disputed this with the staff who got very very aggressive, and forced us into a situation where we had agreed to pay. I have never expired this in Thailand before and was shocked at how we were treated. The staff are horrible and berated us continuously. We were made out to be liars and forced to pay a bill that we HAD NOT DRANK. This is the absolute worst bar in Phuket and I am beyond disgusted by how we were treated. If you want to be ripped off by god awful people go to this bar… if not go down the road and enjoy drinks with some genuinely nice people. If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would … don’t trust the people who work here!!!!! Attached picture of the main lady who got very aggressive.

There is a Reason why this bar is empty during the high season. Trying to get "more" with unethical ways treating customers like they are stupid. Don't play any games with them it cost A LOT, 240 bah/game/person. We ended up paying 1,920 baht extra. They don't see the bigger view they are just wanting to take more as possible. We are staying here 20 days, thanks god we are giving all our precious money to the other bars! We are coming of an island full of tourists in Greece we NEVER tried to steal money! Gross behaviour.

Do not go there. Every 2 Minutes the barkeepers want to play 4Connect. We lost one time and had to buy 10 shots for 2500!!! Baht. The bartender told us afterwards, that the shots cost more because of the game. When we paid by Visa and the Bartender entered a random value in the card card reader (about 15% more). We denied to pay that value, so he got very very angry. But after a 5 minute arguement, we finally could pay the right value, while the other workers were laughing because of the stupid game!!

The worst bar I have ever been! Auper bad experience with the waiters (trying to rip off atsome bar games. Asked for the bill for 1 beer(Price in the card 135baht - i gave 500bath and the as well tried to rip off the change money!!!! Afterwards the waiters showed me the middle finger - could not belive that such a unpolitness in Thailand exists... Can really recommend to everybody NEVER EVER to go there... Searvh for some different spots where you can find normal and friendly people... I habe to give 1x star, due to that zero points is not possible!!

Visited this place for the second time. Three friends and I wanted to watch the football. We were seated easily enough however after that things became very annoying. The bar staff were very pushy with the bar games. Having played once she demanded ฿500 for winning 😂. Obviously I was prepared to pay for a drink, or tip the staff before I agree to play but ฿500 was entirely unreasonable. In the end I “tipped” her ฿100 to go away. If that wasn’t annoying enough, the beers were unreasonably price, there is a 5% charge for paying with ThaiQR code, and it was ฿10 to use the toilet. I wouldn’t go again. I recommend you don’t go either.

Awful place. Please don’t go here. They scam you into playing connect 4 and make you pay way over the normal price for the staff to have a shot. Incredibly unprofessional and rude. When I refused to buy them a drink, I got called names and my friend was grabbed by the arm. Have never had such terrible service. My friend and I felt pressured and bullied the whole time. Incredibly unsafe, especially for females.

Avoid at all costs. Scammed me and my friends out of money by claiming we had underpaid despite us paying individually and continuously for “buy one get one free” cocktails all night. Cocktails were also different every time, either disgustingly strong or tasted like juice. Weird, rude staff who kept pestering us to play Connect 4 amongst other games in the hope of overcharging us (again) for drinks. Also have to pay to use the toilet. Staff also refused to reason/listen/converse when we tried to establish the overpay. BY FAR the worst bar in Phuket. AVOID.

Do NOT play connect 4 or other bar games with the bar staff!!!! They charge 1,000 BAHT if you lose, we only found out the cost AFTER playing! They are also super aggressive so we just paid to save the hassle! They then gave us 4 rancid shots of god knows what! Pretty sure they gave me knock off vodka and not the Smirnoff which I paid for!

Scam! Beware. I had a few drinks and bought 6 lady drinks and my bill was $275 USD! This happened a few years prior and I thought maybe it was better. Do not go into this place!

BAD Read all the bad reviews. Terrible place that completely lies and creates false charges and rips you off. We felt like we were being overcharged, so i specifically noted our current amount, ordered 2 more drinks at a price that was very clearly marked on the menu, then made a point to check the bill when she brought the new check. Just as we suspected, MASSIVE overcharge. They obviously thought we wouldn’t notice. I briefly challenged, but quickly gave up as a foreigner. I busted out a wad of cash all these losers don’t make combined in a month and paid our bill. Obviously never going back and highly recommend you go elsewhere.

Scam!!! They will make you play connect4 and pay stupid money for drinks you didn’t want or order. They are nice at the start but get worse after you’re scammed. Avoid avoid avoid!!!!

Nice staff but we have come in 3 times and each time we’ve been scammed out of money. We would have spent more with them but feel taken advantage of each time which makes us leave. Once was games with bar tenders, once with ‘shots’ that were actually juice and once with a nice man who helped us set up our pool table and asked for a beer, we agreed and they tried to charge us 300 baht🥴. He then tried to say it was a lady drink.. absolutely not. Avoid.

On holiday. OK for watching sports and a few beers. Yay will get pushed hard and hassled to play games and buy lady drinks. Fair enough but just be disciplined and don't part with cash for nothing. On my 3rd visit yesterday I was walking past and saw foitball on but was hungry. Saw the menu and ordered Salmon. I asked for veg and rice with it. When it arrived in a takeaway box from the Kitchen restaurant opposite, to my horror a tiny bit of salmon and a small of fries ! At a pricey sum of 492 baht ! No way, I complained to the staff....they just shrugged and said they didn't understand! Awful service and expensive drinks and money grabbing, JUST AVOID

The place is a scam. Ruined my holiday experience, here in Phuket. Do not play their games like connect 4, as this is the start of the scam and will cost thousands of Baht. It happened to us, and I didn't see it coming unfortunately.

Caution: Beware of Scams at Oscar Bar!! I strongly advise against visiting Oscar Bar. They employ deceptive tactics, pressuring unsuspecting customers into playing the 4 in a row game, only to charge an exorbitant 1750 baht for 7 shots. Newcomers, be cautious as they relentlessly push you into playing without disclosing the steep price. Additionally, the staff's coordinated eye contact suggests a deliberate attempt to scam customers. Steer clear for a more honest and enjoyable experience elsewhere.

Don't play games with the bartenders there, because the party will cost you more.. much more money.. order a drink and you'd better pay for it straight away so you won't be surprised.. or you'd better avoid this bar 👍🏽

Avoid!! They will scam you. Ordered two beers, the manager asked me and my mrs to play connect four. Impossible to hear what she was saying with loud music and masks but sounded like if we win we get a free shot. We lost. They added two drinks to the tab at twice the price we were paying. Charged us 1,000 for two beers. Never again.

Perfect place for people watching. Staff were pushy with playing connect 4 just so we had to buy them a drink if they won. We have been to thailand more then enough times to know this con. As I got the 2 for 1 cocktail I found the first one to be OK but after connect 4 and refusing to play, the second drink tasted more like petrol and couldn't be finished.

Absolute SCAM! Was buying a shot for my gf and I and the bartender serving asked for one to which I agreed (I’m Irish, I’m ok to buy someone nice a drink and share the craic) but then all her colleagues came over and asked so I said yes. There was now 5 of us taking shots priced on the menu at 100THB. She said she’d give me them all for for free if i beat her at connect 4 or else double or nothing which I had to pay. Ten shots at 100thb = 1000thb or £20 is nothing. Needless to say she absolutely walloped me at connect 4 and I had to pay for ten shots. Got the bill and it was 2500 Thai bhat as she had charged me for lady drinks - ridiculous. DO NOT GO

SCAM! Do not enter this place especially if you are already tipsy. They tried to charge me twice for the drinks. I had to wait for police to watch a CCTV recording to find a proof I actually paid. The manager was trying to skip the part of video where I was paying. The service is really pushy. One lady wanted to stick some drug in my nose. AVOID

A bar with a dancer that knows how to dance! Get your drink, watch the show and leave some tip money for the dancer. If you decline the connect 4 game (the one with a vertical place with circular holes) you'll have a good time. Prepare to pay several thousand baht when you play and lose though. I didn't play but was warned by the previous reviewers.

This place is located directly on the main entrace of Bangla Road and probably the 1st stop for people checking it out. Unfortunately it's not the best place to give a go at first, e. g. drinks are typically priced at about 250 TBH, pushy girls wanting to play games for a free lady drink ( 250 TBH ) and music so loud a conversation is not really possible. I gave it a try once but found nicer places to got shortly after.

SCAMMMMM!! Do not come here. Bartenders spend the entire time trying to make you play betting games with them to pay for THEIR drinks. We would have been happy to stay here longer and spend more money with them, just based on drinks & food. They completely ruined the place with scams and hassling.

Prepare to get scammed and I don't mean the "play games and if you lose we get drinks" nonsense. I mean they will add more than a 100% extra charge to your card even with your receipt right in front of you. Sleazy go go bars are more legit.

ROBBERS - TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I just stopped by to get a beer. I paid giving 1,000 bath, and they gave me the exchange as I would have paid 500 bath. I showed them that I had just withdrew money and only had 1,000 bath banknotes in my wallet. A long back and forth started and I was determined to get my money back, till the moment I saw they were scamming another tourist and went next to him trying to support and the owner came and pushed me back violently three times. I called the police and they came after some time. Nothing could be done to get the money back, while to file a report I should have gone to the police central station in Phuket.

Nice bar, good vibes and decent music level. Beware of the bartenders playing connect 4 with you. They play every day and will win and the forfeit is shots. They'll try and charge 250 per shot, which seems extortionate for a cheap tequila (especially when the staff are drinking water instead). Bit of a hoax and put us off staying longer. Toilet staff are super rude too.

Two male staff were violent against my friend. One of them asked my friend if he wanted to play a game of pool purely for fun, he said ok. The staff won, then brought a receipt claiming my friend owed him money for the game. My friend was shocked as there was no talk or agreement that they were playing for money. Two male staff then jumped on my friend’s back and dragged him to the counter to pay. Shocking, will not return to this venue.

So we were well aware we couldn’t win connect 4 against the bar staff but we thought partaking would be a bit of fun and didn’t mind buying shots if we lost. However, be warned the shots are extremely expensive and we felt totally ripped off and promptly left! Bunch of absolute rip off merchants!!!!

We stopped by there most days during our visit for a Singha or two. It was very relaxed and staff were very friendly. Connect 4 and cards were on offer (for a potential price in drinks if you lose), but if you decline they are not pushy about it at all, as is typical of the Thai people. It's a great people watching spot where you also see police in constant action at the end of Bangla Road ticketing visitors who aren't wearing a helmet on their scooter, or driving without an international license (beware - it didn't affect us, we were almost exclusively on foot, but we saw many caught out). At night it gets pretty lively but during the day it's very relaxed compared to the other bars on the street. The bar manager Tiger was very friendly and had things running really efficiently. If/when I return I'll be stopping by again for sure.

Great large bar with good music, 3 pool tables. You can play for free if you buy drinks. Lots of tv screens showing sports channels.

Great atmosphere. Ice cold beers and a big selection of whiskey's. Also plenty of cocktails and shots to choose from. Bar staff are very attentive. Plenty of screens to watch live sports.

Best staff in my experience thus far in phuket! Pool tables are great and the guys will shoot a great game with you! My favorite spot so far!

Good location opposite Taipan night club at the start of Bangla Road. Used to have go go dancers but everything is a bit low key at the moment. Typical higher beer and spirit prices for this location.

I got scammed here with my girlfriends….. We got scammed by a woman and a man behind the bar. She charged us 5000 bath for drinks they gave to the dancers in the bar. These people are scammers. Can’t believe this place hasn’t been shut down yet.

Avoid like the plague. Staff scam you as soon as you sit down,whatever you do avoid playing any games with them-dice,connect 4. If they win a game they add 240 THB to your bill.

Typical bar with strippers, drinks and pool tables. Friendly staff. Not pushy. Get yourself and your frens a drink and chill around

Scam, charged for £150+ (6600+ Baht) worth of drinks when only ordered 5 drinks, 3 beers, 2 cocktails and a coca cola. Will make up charges while playing games like connect 4, and then threaten me when I say I post bad review. Had to call police, who told me I only have to pay half, which is still not great but from their point of view, I suppose it's fair as they don't know full story. I was threatened with legal and illegal action when I said I would post bad review by the owner before they changed their mind and said if I come back tomorrow they would buy me drinks. Definitely avoid this place, no mercy for you especially if you're a tourist or even if you have small children. I would give 0 if I could give 0. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
