Out of 9 restaurants we have visited in Phuket , I and my teen daughter agreed that this 3rd genration -family running restaurant is the one we definately want to come back. The old town was interesting enough and there are lots of shops, cafe, bars and restaurants. Due to Covid, we could manage to find lots of parking places during Friday evening and Saturday lunch hours. The Charm Dining Gallery is a listed Micheline Guide restaurant. Price is all inclusive of tax so you only pay the sum of marked menu prices. We had four dishes, two water and plain rice paying only 1040 baht. It's an old shop house and I liked the furniture and plates that makes me feel like I was invited to a friend's grandma's house with great family recipe.

It was too easy to over-order as the menu is packed with enticing dishes. Six dishes and no regrets - the fish especially was heaven! We left well-fed and extremely satisfied. So delicious with steamed rice. The braised pork belly was seasoned perfectly and very tender! An authentic Chinese style dish here but would recommend ordering other Thai options if you have more access to Chinese foods (like myself)! Overall a good dining experience with an aesthetic dining space with many antiques and historical furniture items and decor. Our server was not as familiar with describing the menu to us in English so we had harder time with ordering.
