I had started to think that I was gonna starve to death in here until this morning. Based on the taste and the dressing, the cook must be a native Turkish, I can say, unlike other Turkish restaurants around. Who would have thought there would be a Turkish Restaurant in the middle of Fitness St. It was the best thing I saw. With every bite I was remembering my mums cooking and that’s what I loved being in a foreign country. My favourite dish by far is the Chicken Wings. The spices and onion and salad and rice was the perfect combination in my mouth. Thank you to the manager and all the staff for making me feel welcome every time I dined there to eat.

Hi, I wanted to give a 4.5 but it cant be done on my tablet, so I gave it a 4.. my review is on the Adana Durum which was a Turkish Style Beef Kebab with salad and fries. And a side of rice.. over all the taste of the kebab was surprisingly tasty I thought the beef was going to be steak but it is minced beef with some yummy herbs and spices mixed into it.. and the fries were cooked well. The rice was a bit weird I was expecting it to have alot more flavour in it but it was okay. The salad could have done with some dressing and tomato. The size of the meal is average, however the cost of the meal is not too high so I get that. I would say the kebab would be even extra nice with a bit of hummus and a bit of yogurt sauce inside it.. and the size of the meal could be a bit bigger, also the manager though he said thank you at the end seemed a bit grumpy to talk with me. And a bit short tempered. I was also asked 3 times in the span of 4 minutes before my meal came if I wanted a drink and then had already said I wanted to keep the menu but they kept trying to take it away from me.. there were only 2 others in the restaurant at the time. I guess they were trying to keep busy. Other than that it was tasty and I am trying more of their food to see if it will redeem the last star on this Google review. Thank you

The 'boxing soi' (as my kids call it) really is something else. Apart from being an epicentre of sorts for gyms / wellness / muay thai it also hosts a deep array of good restaurants, many of which focus on the healthy side of things. Kataturk is not super-healthy (compared to a salad) but it's a relatively rare example of decent Turkish for Phuket. Food and service good, maybe not the absolute best Turkish you will ever have but very decent. Warning - massive serving sizes. 900 baht for 4 drinks and 4 dishes.

He spent the duration of our meal on TikTok, playing music videos, and taking phone calls. I have never seen an owner make their place of business suffer in this way. Last time had shawarma and kebab, both was amazing as original Turkish food. Restaurant owner is friendly and helpful, open to talk about food and suggestions.
