Probably the worst meal we've had in Phuket! The reviews were positive, so we made our way there to try it for ourselves, and we were so disappointed! First of all, so many items on their menus (yes, plural, because each stall has their individual menus that are brought to you at the same time) that we wanted to order were not available. Can you believe that coffee and tea beverages were also not available? Shocking! Secondly, we specifically ordered the dry noodles, and repeated our order to the staff more than 3 times to make sure of it. When the order arrived, all the noodles were soup noodles. When we told the staff that we ordered the dry noodles, she said that the soup version is really good and we should eat that instead. The soup version was not good at all. In fact, everything that we ordered tasted SO BAD. Not at all an exaggeration. We are from Southeast Asia, and have traveled to Thailand countless times. This is by far, the worst food we had in Thailand. This is a tourist trap. Nothing else.

Good local food for lunch with cheap price in Phuket Old Town. Rice roll, satay chicken, hokkin noodle. The fish ball is must try - very good texture and taste (only 50 TBH for 8 balls). All the food with 2 drinks only costs around 250 TBH. Thai Milk Tea is also great too.

Good food at great prices. A good range of options to choose from but no that many compared to other places. Did take a while to have our order taken but we had a good time there.

I don't usually post bad reviews but this place is truly something else. Feral pigeons roam freely not only in the public seating areas but also in a food preparation area. The staff seem to have a curious non-aggression pact with the pigeons and largely ignore them unless they are actively pecking at ingredients being prepared. Food rating is a 2.5 star. Hygiene rating -1 star.

Local food stall with variety of food to choose from. The fried hokkien mee sauce is full of seafood umami taste, the pork satay and fried carrot cake is outstanding as well. High recommended.

Extremely cheap food that doesn't disappoint! We had a Thai Basil, Chicken Stir Fry in Curry Paste, Mango Sticky Rice each and 2 Frozen Watermelon juices for a total of 280 Baht! We arrived at 1130 and it was quite, we walked passed again at 2pm and it was packed.

A great spot for local chinese-thai style food. Very homey food, fresh & yummy! Highly recommend :) When you arrive (depending on the time), find a table & someone will come take your order & they will put in your order for the various stalls. You pay when your food arrives at the table.

Lots of different local food options here to choose from. We tried a few different things here, like kian kien sausage and poh pia sod. Both were very good, highly recommend. Check out our channel for a full review of our experience: Hungry Two Travel.

Dirt cheap and tasty food hall. All the classics and far cheaper than most places. Opted for pork with basil, one of my favourites. Just 50 baht. Great lunch. Delicious ice milk tea 20 baht.

Another one of @migrationology recommended joint, Lock Tien - ลกเที้ยน ศูนย์รวมอาหารพื้นเมืองภูเก็ต did not disappoint. I ordered the Ancient Style Hokkien Noodles served with soup / bowl had a great combination of Pork, Shrimp, Egg and dumpling served in a flavourful broth. I also had the freshly grilled Pork satay served with a earthy coarse peanut sauce that complimented the Satay very well. The prices are super cheap but the waitresses can be a lil' forgetful so don't be shy to remind them of your order. #Phuket

The best place so far with the best noodle in Phuket Old town ... The soup is super seafood flavour and the pig offal is good too. Worth a second try

Authentic Phuketian food centre. I really love this place because you can find every kind of Phuketian food all in one place. Tbh, it might not that good as it doesn't cook by the Phuketers anymore but it's great overall. I recommend to try OO-tao and Oo-aew. the first is stir fried oyster with mussy things and the latter is the wonderful dessert.

Choose to eat Phuket local a la carte dishes, including desserts easily, but finding a parking place is quite difficult.

Not worth the hype. The shrimp spring rolls were below average (filled just with rice, lettuce and a hint of shrimps), the fresh coconut water by glass comes full of sugar…undrinkable. When I asked the service guy about it, he was rather rude, saying it was my fault for not asking. The pad thai was also average, the noodles were not the typical flat ones, not an issue in itself but they were not soft and properly cooked. Overall, not recommended, given the many options available around.

After getting off the bus, I walked along a bumpy narrow sidewalk and came across the first restaurant. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, without excessive decoration or arrangement, giving me a feeling similar to a college cafeteria, which made it feel very cozy. I have tried Hokkien noodles soup(with shrimp and barbecued pork in, sour and spicy dressing) and a lemon shake. All the food was freshly made and tasted great, though it seemed that the food and beverage counters were separate for payment, and I had to make two separate payments.

This is a great option to get food ! I really enjoyed the variety of options. Several vegetarian options with great flavours. And the cherry on the cake: great prices!

A fantastic little gem of a place that you could well pass by without noticing on the already bustling street packed with food. We did, twice! You will be met by a friendly host that will sit you down and show you several menus with some great and competitive prices. Once you pick what you want to eat and drink a flurry of calls will be thrown around the room to the various vendors you have selected items from. A small wait later the individual vendors will waiter your order to the table and take payment individually. Fantastic, authentic food without the price tag!

Common food hall that you can find many of the local favourites. The deep fried pig offals takes the win for me. All the good little bits of pork from different parts of the piggies are very delicious. Especially the pig ear with a little chick of meat attached. Probably not for those that’s still taking introductory course to Asian cruising but certainly delicious 😉

Food court style, good place to go if you want to try out a variety of local dishes at cheap prices, but taste wise just normal nothing mind-blowing, even for the popiah. We went around 11am on a Wed, there was only 1-2 tables but all stalls were opened. They served very quickly <5mins. Quite hot no air con but they kindly on the fan for us when we sat down.

Oh Aew was nice, shaved ice with jelly, tasted sweet. Popiah and Stir fried white noodles with Pork Ribs Soup was really good, tasty and flavorful.

Amazing satay and the sauce was different in a good way. The spring roll was great as well. The meat is so tender and soft after being in a marinade for two days that it can easily be noticed.

Don’t think about it, just come and eat here! It’s so affordable and cheap and you get quality food. All of this we paid 5 pounds, we absolutely recommend the watermelon smoothie, the veggie fried rice and the pork satay, they were all to die for!

Delicious food options at a low price. Better get in earlier in the day as by 3pm a large number of dishes were out.

Right in the heart of Old Town, this series of hawker stalls is a true culinary gem! Plenty of choices from noodles to grilled specialties and many Thai street food favorites but don’t miss out on the fresh spring rolls. They are just delicious. Prices are super affordable and your baht will go a long way here. Fresh fruit juices also great!
