I visited this place at night, and probably after normal people had left. 😂 There was a little bit of rain, but the view was spectacular. There was even an ice cream stand still open. I highly recommend visiting this place during the day if you are having trouble figuring out the general layout of the island of Phuket. My native guide :-) was able to point out different places and tell me which beaches and towns we were looking at. Very cool!

A stunning view of the island! You can see the Buddha on the hill which must be three or four miles away. You can also see the other side of the island and the water Beyond. I 100% recommend it. There is a restaurant here and a cafe so make a nice time of it. Very very beautiful.

Scenic.. ocean and city views galore. Worth a drive (note.. DRIVE) to get to a pavilion .. lookout point and some quirky restaurants capitalising on social media for its location. Note.. there are some monkeys in the area..so I guess visible food would be a bad idea. A neglected fitness park as well.. completely overgrown in moss.. makes for dangerous training.. best avoided. Make sure to pick a clear day. During my visit..there was some buskers adding to the romance of the view point. Side note.. it appears several fitness enthusiasts use the slopes and hairpin bended roads to walk / hike / jog . Please keep a lookout as you make your way up.. traffic can appear out of nowhere. Combine with a visit to a nearby temple a bit further down.

This is a free activity you should do if you are nearby it has a beautiful view point and cool signs to take pictures of and also has lots of monkeys there so be careful and be nice. Parking lot is available food is available, snacks for monkeys is available & a cute cafe spot is available you can see the information on the schedule on the pictures below! Recommend to go before sunset or on sunrise but anytime works also since it’s open 24/7!

Beautiful place to chill out and relax. We went at 9am to catch the guy feeding the monkeys. We even spotted a wild boar. We have been to both restaurants there, once for lunch and the other time for dinner, both highly recommended. There is a small shop where you can pick up snacks and a toilet is next door (10 baht). The viewpoint has sweeping views of Phuket Town, Chalong Bay and the Panwa Peninsula. A must visit if you are in the area.

The view is amazing! There are several steps and it's not handicap accessible. There's a cute restaurant with the best Thai tea. It's for sure worth checking out.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the sunset, but non the less we found a decent restaurant and enjoyed a decent meal. Things to look out for, monkeys walking freely and sitting on the crash barriers, was a pleasant surprise, the golden Buddha on the walk up, and nature reclaiming a Jeep cherokee that I found fascinating

You can walk there and it doesnt take too long. For the time I actually spent enjoyed the view, taking a scooter is the better option. It is a plateau in the sun. That's why you wont stay there too long. It is simply too hot to do it. At the top there are also restaurant, restrooms and souvenir shops.

One of many Phuket's viewpoints, it overlooked the city with a very nice view. Be aware of the monkeys that wonders around, I suggest that you don't get close to them. The viewpoint offers great photos opportunity specially in the afternoon. There are also a couple of restaurants that offers food and drinks with a great views.

Peaceful hill in the center of the town with fresh air and a viet over the city. It's not breathtaking but a nice getaway for a nice chat with friends. There are a few food/drink places if you're interested but they might be overpriced. Also u might stumble upon a tribe of monkeys living up on the hill and getting fed by visitors quite often. Another must see place when in Phuket. There is a winding road to the top of the mountain to a really good spot to view Phuket town at night. There are cafes and shops that offer food and drinks. There is a brilliantly lit pavilion and observation deck to take some great snapshots. Definitely worth a visit.

Great view but no clear skies. Came here as part of all day touring in the area. It's a very tight windy road to get to the top with lots of motor bikes and scooters constantly slowing you down. Be careful. We were in a mini van which was very comfortable considering how hot it can be. When we made it to the view I was quite spectacular but the skies were a little cloudy and some smog took a little away from the view. Views are around 180 degrees. Quite impressive. The only negative is all the tourists taking endless selfies. But that's a good sign too as people are coming for a reason. Add it to you list of places to see. And if you buy pineapple be careful of the monkeys that will try to snatch it from you.

Went looking for monkeys on the hill! Found a couple and took some pictures. Based on past reviews we were worried about bad encounters with the animals but it was great. We were 4 of the only people there. It is really nice with low crowds around.

Wonderful restaurant at the top of that hill, just near by the view point. They have good coffee but also nice food as well. You should go there at sunset time which looks fantastic and you can enjoy your coffee or drink as you watch the sun go down.

We decided to go for a drive after dinner and drove up to Khao Rang. The road is a bit windy so you need to be careful of the motorbikes/scooters zipping a long and we saw a few wild boars crossing as well. There is not a lot of parking at the top so you may have to go around the loop a couple of times but the view is worth it. We spoke to some people that said the restaurant at the top was very good however we did not try it.

It's not the most picturesque place, but definitely recommended to visit if you're nearby. It often plays live music and has a pleasant and calming atmosphere. The view of the city at night is stunning and not transferable through the camera. The site is open at night and free to the public.
