A well-maintained, glittering Thai Bhuddist temple and stupas. The prayer hall is lovely, being so serene and uncluttered with the golden Buddah gazing over the red carpeted floor. Its not on big grounds, like many other temples, but its clean, shining and worth admiring.

Beautiful traditional Thai Buddhist temple right in the heart of the Old Town. Grounds have some nice shaded areas with mature trees and benches so a great place to relax and take in the gorgeous details and architecture. Place is also a popular alternative parking area for those visiting the old town so it’s a convenient.

Dont waste your time this is not worth visiting, Can't Enter the Temple building at all. The temple generally is mid sized and laid out similarly to that of Wat Chalong. It's free to enter temple grounds and look around from the outside. Just steps away from the Old Town.

Temple in Phuket old town, can be accessed by foot. However the main halls seem to be mainly closed except during offering or festivals. Nevertheless, the exterior is rather beautiful and serene.

i had visited the beautiful Wat Mongkol Nimit temple in old Phuket town during our sightseeing tour of the old Phuket town. We liked the beautiful Pagoda style architecture of the temple tower and intricate colorful art work on the walls of the temple. At the backside there is a giant stupa which is surrounded by many golden colored small stupas. Inside the temple when we sat before the Lord Buddha it was very peaceful.😍🫶

Stunning temple and grounds. Some shade and benches to sit on. Everyone entering the temple must have proper pants and a shirt with sleeves on, even the men.

At the corner of Soi Rommanee and Dibuk road, we see the roof of a beautiful Buddhist temple. On entering the main gate, we see a beautifully symmetrical main temple with intricate designs of the gods and beings from the Buddhist lore. Directly behind the temple are sculptures of huge bells and a meditation center adjacent to it. There are almost no people who even enter to see this temple. You can easily visit this in old Town as it lies on the road parallel to where the Night Market takes place. This temple is one of the few temples in Thailand that is looked after and maintained by the Royal Family. So, you can visit the temple grounds, but don't have access inside the temple.

It's pretty and close to town so it's a nice walking distance from where we stayed.

One of the most important temples in Phuket, established in 1880. Like Phuket itself, some of the buildings feature Chinese Colonial design as well as some rare examples of European architecture. I've been here about 5 times and always enjoyed seeing the religious processions. The grounds and gateway are also worth checking out.

It is very beautiful temple with Buddha statue. Very peaceful place. Very near to this temple there is a market for shopping. The streets are very colorful and happening. Many small cafes, electronic items and fruit shopes are available. This temple is located in old phuket Town so you will get to see many local people and shops. Whenever you are visiting phuket island you should go to old and visit this type of places.

👍👍 We were booked on a catamaran day tour with another company but they changed our tour to another day so we cancelled. We booked a tour with Seastar through a local tour desk - AS tours I think. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the check in location. This was all a little disorganised but...
