Location is a 20 minutes away from Old Phuket Town, room is clean but the wifi is a bit awful. Good thing we have a spare phone that saved me from my work 🙈 the staffs are friendly and we love the orange cat that hangs around the hotel during late in the afternoon and at night. He’s an adorable cat ❤️

There are serious cleaning issues at the hotel. They don’t wash the bed linen properly. We had to ask for change 2 times. The third set of linen was still dirty but we just gave up. Also at air condition was not working at our room and they refused to change our room to one with working AC. One of the worst hotels at Phuket.

The rooms are pretty nice and reasonable - $40 USD per night approx. But there was some confusion with my booking and I ended up paying for an extra room as they didn’t have two beds. Overall, it’s decent but if you need two beds in a room, you need to book at the hotel early or they won’t accommodate you. Annoyingly, there was no refund and 2 nights here cost me basically $120. If you haven’t got cash to burn, I’d consider a different hotel!

The quality of the site and rooms is decent, especially for the prices. The location is also fine, it's about 15/20 minutes walk from the nice restaurant we spotted, BUT..... it's located right next to what seems to be a fire station maybe? Not sure, but it plays an upleasant saturated anthem at 8:00am and in the evening too and it was not a pleasant morning alarm. The swimming pool is nice and the bed also, the fridge has a decent capacity and we are ~10 minutes walk from the 7/11 supermarket. Overall, I think it's a decent choice (and not expensive for the area) but it's not sound proof and be ready to hear your neighbours if they're not respectful.

The problem was the man at the desk told us that the boats were not going to Phi Phi due to bad weather for 2 days in a row. The 3rd day we looked for the boats and found out the boats went everyday that week and the man at the front desk lied to us so we would stay longer at the hotel. I found out the people in Phuket did not want to help tourists. Do not go to this hotel, it is places like this that ruin the experience of tourism.

It's a functional centrally located hotel, away from the noise of the central Old Town. Rooms are spacious & clean with aircon & TV. WiFi is free. There is no lift and no breakfast though they do offer tea/coffee, toast and fresh banana's from 7-10 There are plenty of options for restaurants, cafes and street food to choose from. The pool is refreshing.

Located down an alleyway from the street which creates a quiet vibe at the Malika. The rooms are spacious and beds are extremely comfortable. We had a pool access room which was an added bonus to wake and have a swim. Who needs to be close to the beach when you have a pool like to this in such a quiet and relaxing area. Staff are friendly and the rooms are cleaned very well each day. A thank you to the cleaning staff. Would definitely stay here again if I returned to Phuket Town.

The hotel are clean, staff is very friendly and helpful, however they offer taxi service woth a higher rate than common prices are. We enjoyed pool very much in very hot and rainy days.

We were very happy with our seven day stay in this hotel. The staff was superb, they helped us with taxi, trip planning and so on. The breakfast is not really traditional, some desserts and fruits are the only exception. But the variety was satisfying and well tasting. The room as well as the bathroom were always kept very clean, the beds were comfortable and the pool perfect for a morning swim. Considering the price-quality ratio we would recommend this hotel strongly. The quiet environment, with very cheap restaurants nearby is really perfect for those who seek a holiday away from the masses.

Awesome staff, very clean, great pool, would suggest renting a scooter though as it is somewhat away from tourist attractions. Breakfast is simple and nice and easy with toast and coffee.

Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in Thailand. Staff is the kindest and most helpful, great but quiet pool, super clean… what’s not to love? Thanks for everything, you made my vacation 🙏🏻

We stayed 7 nights during the sandbox quarantine time in the Malika. It was a great choice. The staff was friendly, daily room cleaning, the whole hotel area was incredible clean. Because of the pandemic situation the restaurant was closed, order food by grab oder food panda was no problem and common. The staff can also help if needed. They also organized the trip to koh Lanta. The location in the middle of phuket town is also nice, we just walked a few minutes to phuket oldtown. If I would stay in Phuket another vacation I would definitely stay here again.

One of the best hotels during our vacation in Thailand. Quiet location but only 15 min walk from old Phuket. Rooms were very clean and comfy beds.

One of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. We had to stay here for 7 days to complete the Phuket Sandbox Scheme and we can't imagine doing it anywhere better. Really nice rooms, very spacious and clean with a great pool for getting some morning laps in. Staff are also so so friendly and kind, thank you for a great stay! Don't hesitate to stay here :)

The Malika Hotel offers a prime location, just a stone's throw away from the charming old town and the bustling night market. The spacious and clean rooms provide a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring. The pool is also a highlight, with ample space to relax and soak up the sun. Overall, a great choice for those looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in the heart of the city.

Inexpensive and decent. We rented 2 rooms (2 adults and 3 kids). The additional bed costed 500 bath extra. The hotel is well maintained. The rooms and the pool are clean. Staff is helpful. Location is great.

Great hotel and great service, location is not so good, the more "active" area of Phuket is 20min walk away... Rooms are great, pool is fantastic and it's very peaceful since it's a bit hidden from the main Street.

Not dated, cheap price, very clean, bathroom and toilet in good condition. Very good location, no cars or annoying roosters and birds to hear. Nice little pool with jacuzzi. The service is very good and friendly. I have booked here twice and will come back for sure. The only drawback is the wifi, is unfortunately not so good.

The rooms here were amazing, very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice as well with a large shower. The pool was clean and a nice addition to the day. Breakfast was great for 200 Baht. Most of all though, the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The young man who checked us in really set the tone for the rest of our stay. Thank you Malika staff!

Amazing staff, room and pool! :) We enjoyed our week here for the Phuket Sandbox scheme. Very happy we chose this hotel and would definitely recommend for test & go! Phuket Town is really cool to explore. It's close to a few vegetarian restaurants or you can use grab/food panda :)
