Good value for money in the area. The staff are friendly and really helpful. Very close, couple of mins walking time, to Bus Station Terminal. 5 mins walk to Old Town. Some tasty cheap food options nearby, local restaurants nearby offer much tastier and cheaper options than those that attract the western tourists. 7-11 and Family Marts local. Close to Trickeye museum. Buses to many beaches near the market and cheap for 40 baht. Saphan Hin Park, 10 - 15 min walk, is nice and quiet and has a beach and some fabulous local restaurants and karaoke. 'Mark's is just over the road and serves a decent burger and is good value for money. On the street, close to Ekkamon apts, is a shop selling beers and snacks. They also have washing machines and a dryer. 20-40baht for a wash depending on your load size. They sell portions of detergent for 5 baht. The machines are automatic, so put your clothes in, add your detergent and put your coins in, return in an hour. Simple. The rooms at Ekkamon are basic but comfortable. They have a comfortable bed, clean sheets, and hot water. There is also a fridge with ice box. They have a small balcony so you can dry your clothes. There's a pool and gym at Royal Phuket City hotel just around the corner on Phang Na Rd. Worth the expense if you're staying a month or two. Taxis motos are also on the corner of the soi but many places are within walkimg distance. Taxis can be had by the Royal Phuket but do bargain as they will double the price if they can. If they refuse, walk away. They will come after you. They're not busy. It was a good stay overall but it isn't modern by any stretch of the imagination. There are stairs to the rooms so you migjt want to request a ground floor apartment if stairs are an issue.

The rooms were big and the aircon is working. We recognised bed bugs and told the receptionist whos really bad at English with translation, but she just gave us a spray. We got bitten and at the other morning we checked out and asked for discount. She was not able to understand us, We tried with google and pictures. At the end we got a discount because we have to wash our whole backpack. Despite of this the rooms were clean and the stuff friendly. The surrounding is empty and quiet.

Nice Place for Staying with your friends or family. Location is also very good, 10 minutes Walk-able distance from Bus station. Spacious, clean room. The stuff of the apartment was very helpful. But food options are less. If you want the local market, it is just back side of the apartment, for that, you have to walk 1-15 min.

The place has sex and drug trafficking and unsafe..very rude staff very intentionally interrupt our sleep even though we had are sing on the door so would be to tiered to look for another hotel since we paid cash and not through a website. Ekkamon foundation is in need of fixing and walls and floors as it is it's located on dead end road in the rear lot of the Metropole Hotel where many tourist buses come all hours of the night and my husband i tried to enjoy the balcony view, but many working men were in the Metropol and notice either by chance they were going the same places and/or following us. We didn't feel safe.

First she gave me the Room at the groundfloor, besides the Trash Pile, ..but next day i changed up to room 43. Nice but as it starts to Rain the Bathroom get all Moldy, you dont see,, but just turns throug the wall if rain, ...then all smelled like fungus. So i changed again, they rolled their eyes but they do, ..they really kind Burmese PPL. Always demand the money money money, thats a little anoying, but ok. No discount besides i stayed for 10 days, and they offer also monthly for 6000 thb. ...i paid 500 per day... Besides the mold in room 43 its a nice hotel, the alley is a bit spookey, but has a laundry no 50 meters around

😠 I like to live in this place. Great service for money. Pool, facilities, everything is good. But.. They often organize private parties for profit and make noise. Music plays all day long and the management team says they don’t care, they will continue organizing these parties for profit. In addit...

😠 From experience from living there for many years The common expenses lost are not worth it. The water pipes in the bathroom and toilet (toilet pipes) stink every day, including the smell of urine and sewage. There was no improvement or management at all. Therefore, I advise those thinking of buying...
