😠 We visited the ranch a week ago. Not something to write home about. It was ok i guess but then i learnt that the owners were involved with canned hunting via a video on youtube called An unfair game. Watched it and yes, truly shocking to see what transpires there. Will never visit again. So sad. Ver... People often mention road, lion, lions,

Beautiful nature with wildlife all around, lions a plenty. Comfy accommodation nice bar and entertainment area. Restaurant serves good quality and value food. Enjoyed the lion cubs, able to pick them up and play with them. Indoor pool is heated large and clean.

Nothing more than a lion breeding farm for lions to be bred and shot, for trophies, never experienced lions to be fed chickens, don't support canned hunting.

Don't support the canned hunting industry. Zero conservation value. Want to watch wild animals? Visit a game reserve. Watch An Unfair Game on YT.

This place is truly special and offers a unique experience at a truly affordable price. It isn’t a tourist trap at all and you can just quickly take. Detour on your trip pop in and play with the lion cubs for a while and then hit the road again. They offer a lot more including food and drinks too. The staff at the restaurant are super friendly and always more than helpful. A note to remember, lion cubs are still capable of biting and scratching so be cautious and respect these apex babies

This place needs a serious upgrade. The facilities are run down. The food was good and the service was good. Most of the attractions have closed. No quad biking was available.

We were very excited to stay at the Moreson Ranch after a wedding on 25 Feb. Unfortunately, the road was in a horrible condition and we could not access our accommodation due to the weather. No warning or information was provided regarding the condition of the road or that a 4x4 car was needed. We got stuck on the dirt road in the rain and needed to be towed out late at night. We were forced to cancel due to the condition of the road and not being able to access the venue. It has been more than a month and the owner has not paid back the 50% deposit they promised after we followed up multiple times. I am disappointed in the poor customer service and false promises to pay back our deposit and would not recommend staying here.

The road on the way there is damaged but it's definitely worth the drive. Especially to play with the lion cubs!

We are very disappointed. It was a unpleasant experience the road was in terrible conditions, the are only 18 lions you can view from a far distance. The cages are not maintained nor the pool area they advertised the pool as a "warm" pool put was freezing cold .I wouldn't recommend.

The food was really bad and cold, the servers weren't exactly welcoming and the internet is limited to certain areas of the place.

We stayed in a chalet. The trip switch was off at our arrival - fridge not cold and geyser cold. The washing cloth and sponge were old and tattered. We rather used our own. The toilet leaked resulting in water on the floor. We reported it but nothing was done about it. Breakfast was included in the price, but when we arrived at the restaurant there was a local power problem (not Escom). We left without breakfast.

10kms off main road, but well worth it, once you arrive. Pleasant staff, a clean private bathroom with an outside wash up area for dishes and clothes. Set beliw sn avenue of trees, overlooking a beautiful valley with lion camps close enough to hear them roaring- what majestic animals. Well worth a visit.

Family friendly restaurant with a great view! The atmosphere is great and everyone is polite, Food is great and so are the shooters! Best of all is the lion cubs just off the restaurant that you can play with.

I was charged twice for the same bill due to bad connection on their portable pay points. After numerous calls to the lady that helped me, with no reply and no clear indication of helping me resolve this matter, I can honestly say that I would not recommend this place nor trust their service.

Amazing place to visit! Just a one hour drive from Newcastle surrounding with beautiful scenery. Restaurant menu has a wide selection and what is better than enjoying your meal with the lions so close!
