Friendly service - Great value for money - tasty food - generous portions. My new preferred stop on the N3.

Lovely place to stop. Pitty about R100 charge to see the animals. I can understand the cost to feed and look after them. But maybe look at a bit more afordable pricing. R100 is a bit hefty when you are a family of 4. We sit down and have a meal and still to pay another R400 to see the animails, i will walk out there with a bill over 1k. Times are hard at the moment. But must say you have a beautiful place. We have supported you guys since when you only had that little rondavel and a littel shop.

Food is great but service needs some attention. Training your servers would do really be beneficial for all, your clients, your staff and even your owners and management 🙄 👏 👍 😑

Nice place. However, the food keeps letting you down. Please improve because we love stopping over BUT this is a definite deal breaker. We were given vienna instead of sausages. When this was raised, we we given two raw sausages.

Potentially a nice stop. Unfortunately despite our server's intentions, the service was quite disappointing. The quality of the food was reasonable, with the great pizzas worth a special shout-out. It is a pity that the animals cannot be viewed via hiking around anymore. It removes a big attraction, leaving only the play area, restaurant and shop (and brewery).

Wow! The food is delicious. Complements to the chef! The staff were eager ro assist and very friendly. Got to see the Lions too. A Must visit if you are in the area

Very nice stop after the long road. Everything was clean, staff is friendly, the food was very good. Although I think the portions for the price we paid were small. You can walk around in the gardens and the atmosphere is great.

The restaurant was average. Service was okay. Did not have waffles and strawberry milkshake even though it was on the menu. The lions, rhino, cheetah, etc was amazing. Will definitely stop over again to see the wildlife.

Absolutely pathetic service. Music was awful, and even though we were two senior couples, the 'manager' did precious little to assist us. Their menu (a small one, which I don't mind), was devoid of a basic ingredient. The bill was rung up with the excluded item. Watch out! They're not as good as they appear to be.

Excellent place to take a break from long distances, driving. Look out for the large blue Sasol bords between Viliers and Warden

This place is beautiful, and the swinging seats are out of this world. Really great playground for the kids, and a view of lions. Magical. The food, however, is very expensive and only okay, and the service ranged between disinterested and perhaps a complete inability to understand what we were requesting. Still, so beautiful that we went back a second time, only to find them closed (though posted hours said they were supposed to be open). This last visit was at 2pm on New Year's Day so our experience could easily be an outlier. We'd definitely go back for coffee, probably not for food.

Not the cheapest and pretty dissapointing. We had the chicken schnitzel and chips with mushroom sauce for 140 rand you get a small portion of chips and schnitzeland the sauce is from a packet so it's a gooey bland substance. And how does one also get a chicken toasted sandwich wrong, chewy chicken, bad mayonnaise and no taste. Service extremely slow and we were only 1 of three tables. After a long day of hiking in the berg and on your way home this is not what you want. It's called a restaurant but only serves store bought frozen heat up meals. Could have gone to a fast food chain and been happier

It is not nice when the place is booked out. But always great to have a break here. The male rest room doors need repairing as there is no door opening mechanism.

Nothing spectacular except for the prices. Nice clean place but the food was overpriced for an average meal. Good stop for a quick coffee, but would skip the meals

A fantastic stopover on the long haul between sea and home. This place underwent a major make over... and greatly improved. What a stunning ambience. My eggs benedict where perfection. My son's French toast was changed to his request which I find is very important. We had a great rest. Thanks to the friendly manager!

😐 It is sad to see that a place formally thriving for excellence, dive so far into mediocrity. No manager visible. Toilets dirty. No toilet paper, no soap. Quick shop with 1 cashier on a busy Sunday afternoon. Do not invest money in a place and then get cheap lazy management to look after your place...

😠 We visited the ranch a week ago. Not something to write home about. It was ok i guess but then i learnt that the owners were involved with canned hunting via a video on youtube called An unfair game. Watched it and yes, truly shocking to see what transpires there. Will never visit again. So sad. Ver...
