Though saw good ratings on TripAdvisor, but won't suggest this place as quality of rooms/hotel was horrible. The rooms were not clean. In our room toilet seat was broken, had to ask for towels, intercom wasn't working, and for some reason the blanket for double bed wasn't full length. Overall looks like no one checks the room readiness/cleanliness for next guest. Breakfaster in buffet is very basic, to top that had to wait for buffet to be served and despite wait the quantity served was way too less so had to wait for refill. The elevators aren't functional as the hotel is under renovation. Only saving grace was friendliness of staff, but aren't Bhutannese people known for that.

Geyser wasn't working and for 1 and half hour I was kept waiting. Finally I had to heat the water all by myself using electric kettle. 1 Ltr at a time Horrible experience at 10 pm in the night.

Good spacious room, food was OK, hospitality was kind. Unfortunately we had issues with their faucet. We were later provided Hot water in buckets climbing unto 3rd floor. Room Telecom was not clear, disturbed line.

While the rooms are spacious and the location is great, the food isn’t worth the mention. It was too oily and tasteless. While the service was okay. I still think having just spacious rooms without maintenance are waste of monies.

I had very bad experience in hotel Orchid. Hotel Orchid didn't know about What is hospitality. Service was very worst, It was something like hotel staff is not interested in guest satisfaction. The rooms was huge and good but that's the only thing good about the hotel. The linen had damp smell, couldn't even sleep at the night, cockroaches in the bathroom, lift was not working, breakfast was inedible. Even shower was also not working properly.

Worst experience of my life.. was there for a honeymoon trip and it was all spoiled by Orchid hotel. The room they had offered me was twin beded room, soiled linen, dusty room, hairs in bed as well as bathrooms.. really pathetic.

Rooms are big,the food was also amazing(specially chicken butter masala)......but main issue was the water problem there were some rooms in which water was not coming and in some rooms water was coming in full pressure...

Pathetic level of service and cleanliness. Hotel is severely understaffed. Those that are present appear to have hardly any training in hospitality. Rooms were filthy. Toilets appear to have never been cleaned. As others have mentioned, the staff is not very interested in resolving problems.

It was a very bad experience. Staff of the hotel lacks hospitality along with basic etiquettes. We ordered our dinner around 7.30 PM and hotel restaurant said that it will be ready by 8.30 PM however when we checked with them they said that we need to change the order as what we ordered initially was not available with them. We agreed and changed our order i we didn't wanted to waste time.After changing our order we got half of our order around 9.30 PM and when we checked with them again they asked us to wait for 20 mins.more. Staff is very rude, arrogant, reckless and shameless. They don't know how to treat their guests. Apart from their horrible food service there room quality is also bad. Rooms and bathrooms have pungent smell, also their wifi doesn't work. Overall a very bad experience at this hotel. I would not recommend this place to anybody because they do not have anything good except the room size which is the only plus point of this hotel. Apart from their big rooms their quality of the room, bathrooms and their hospitality service is worse as per hospitality industries.Please do not book this hotel if you don't want to suffer in your trip.

Stayed in the property on 27th May 2019. The ground facing room was good. We reached late, however dinner was arranged by hotel. Food was ok ish. Good place to stay in for one night and move to Bhutan.

WiFi was a major concern, not once in 24 hours did it work. Service is extremely poor, and not managed properly.rooms are big but not maintained . Bathroom had leakage, but the staff declined or rather ignored .

We didn't like the room given to us (301). The room windows don't have sufficient curtain to block the light. Bathroom had likage also. Staff couldn't rectify the issue so really disappointing 😞.

The hotel is really nice and spacious. Rooms are nicely decorated and comfortable. Views from hotel are really awesome and you can experience football match from your room balcony with amazing football ground just in front of this hotel. Food and service is also good.

Stayed here for just a night. The hotel is horrible. Dirty stinking bathroom, bed and even the floor. There are no amenities provided. The kettle in d room was unwashed. Did not have d courage to put on the fan as it was soooooo filthy. Ordered for room service the bill price was different than what was given on the menu. Will not recommend this hotel for even a night.

Nice nd beautiful place ,very good staff but the problem is most of the equipments were not working properly ,no daily room service available and hotel have many facilities that they commit on booking nd also mention on websites as well, even geyser isn't working in Winters ,some lights and sockets also not working Best thing is 'there is a football ground in front of hotel nd u can play there with local football players

They claim it as 3 star hotel but they have not enough staff. Room are specius but not clean proper. Water stain in rooms. There is lift but not working. I stay 2 different day but water problem. If you have complain not proper procedure to solve. As per my this experience 2 star.

Beautiful hotel at a beautiful spot of the town with certain rooms having amazing panoramic balcony of the hills and mountains near the place. Room service is satisfactory. Rooms are huge and bathrooms are good enough. All-round a pretty good hotel with very polite staff.
