This zoo is very nice. Very big crocodiles and Alligators are here... But the zoo is very small and the ticket price is per person 100 rupees. But yeah one can enjoy here and can capture those crocodiles pictures.

Crocodile Breeding farm in Phuentsholing was established in 1976 in a small pond.. The town lies on the southern border of Bhutan with India where the Crocodile zoo is located. There were specially two types of species of Crocodile Gharials and Mugger which are endangered species. Also the town is really very clean.

This zoo is famous to tourists for its Gharial conservation under ministry of Forest Department of Bhutan Government. But I think it's a over hyped place. The tickets are 100/- per person which actually never worth for such small and poor maintained place. The crocodiles are seems to be dead as they were not responding anyway! 🥲 There were a few other animals along with only one little frightened deer! 😐

It's one of the coolest attraction in Phuntsholing. The place is infested with crocodiles and alligators and their babies, and it's not something we can see anywhere on a regular day. It's totally safe and the entry fee is very reasonable but much can be done about the experience people can enjoy while visiting it. The reptiles are basically sleeping all the time and the visitors are dying to see the move or do something other than sleep... The management can put in some activities to attract people during certain times: like while feeding, etc to let people see moving crocodiles... The while setting is backward with rusted chainmesh and there is need for standard basic amenities like juice stall, toilet, waste bins etc.

If you want to see huge crocs then you shall go there. There are around 5-6 cages with crocodiles and alligators. The ticket is ₹100. There's a cute deer too. Not worth it if you have seen crocodiles in wild.

This is mostly an alligator zoo than crocodile ones. But it is good and well maintained .People can buy souvenir eggs in the zoo. Those reptiles are really huge.A seperate compound for minor alligators is there.Besides this,3 pools are there containing adults. This is an interesting place.

Really big crocodiles and alligators are there, total around 20 in numbers beautiful little place to go. But it is a very small facility and Rs100 entry fee is too high.

Great place to add to your list if you love crocodiles. They are well reserved and are taken good care. The best thing was to observe them so closely. But children as well as adults should be careful as they are pretty near to the fencing. If you are lucky, you might get a glimpse of the eggs as well.

It's the only Crocodile zoo located in Bhutan. Precisely in Phuentsholing and has got world various species including a extinct Crocodile too. Has got one small tortoise 🐢 too. If you are interested to visit just take few biscuits to pamper them.
