October 3, 2023 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 I had a really bad experience at this location, and I wish I could give it zero stars ⭐️ in my review. We're regular customers at the Pickering location on Kingston Road, and our visits there have always been great. However, we decided to try this location, and it was a completely different story. Our troubles started when we placed our orders. The person taking our order seemed unfamiliar with the menu, mumbled quietly, and spoke under his breath, making it difficult to understand him. He also struggled to navigate the menu options and had trouble entering our choices into the system. I ordered a regular Chicken Schwarma Rice Bowl with five toppings, but unfortunately, my order arrived missing two of those toppings. My partner ordered a Regular Jamaican Jerk Rice Bowl but received a regular chicken bowl instead. Both of our bowls contained excessively salty turnips, and the rice was dry. To make matters worse, the chicken had a reheated taste, as if it had been sitting around for a while. Before leaving, I asked for the receipt as I didn't get one when paying. The employee initially handed me an order slip retrieved from the garbage, which clearly wasn't a proper receipt. This was the slip they followed to prepare the dish, and it lacked the price and other details. After requesting a proper receipt, I received one but didn't notice that it was the wrong one. At that point, I was disgusted (for being handed the orders slip from the garbage) and frustrated, I just wanted to get out of there before I lost my cool. I believe an establishment should provide a proper receipt to a customer, especially when it is requested. Overall, this experience was deeply disappointing, and I have no intention of returning to this location. It fell far short of our basic expectations for service and quality. I will be contacting your head office as this is beyond poor service and quality.

***GO TO THE TAHINIS NEAR WHITES ROAD INSTEAD ** I wish I could give 0 stars. This Tahinis near Walmart on Brock Rd was not welcoming as the 2 guys just stared at us when we walked in. Floor was slippery by bathroom. Meals were not proportion well & presentation was horrible. Chicken was dry, beef bacon was stiff, rice had no flavour and was too soft and this was not even what I ordered. I ordered the jerk chicken and I received over cooked dry chicken and the turnips were not even edible as they were so salty. The location at Whites Road in the Steeple Hill plaza is the best Tahinis by far, they take pride in preparation and customer service.

Always a pleasure to visit tahini locations. This one is as amazing as others. Good customer service and Good food. It was pleasure to meet the owners trying to serve the community. As i always say do give some one another chance if they r new because everyone is learning and trying thr best to serve other. Thank You tahini for good food and service.

On my way home from work, I decided to pick up some food for my wife and I, so I stopped by Tahini's. This is my first time there, and I was impressed, firstly, by the cleanliness of the place, and secondly, by the outstanding customer service. Bonnie served me, she was friendly and attentive, she let me sample a few things as I wasn't sure what I wanted. She was helpful in giving me recommendations and I finally went for the gyros wrap and a chicken shawarma for my wife. I must say, Bonnie was very professional and pleasant, she made me feel satisfied in my choice. 5 stars for her fantastic customer service, enough to write a review about it.

One of my best friends brought me here today and it did not disappoint! I ordered a small chicken shwarma and the Messy fries and my goodness was it ever amazing!!! We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu! Delicious 😋

We recently did a takeout for a Habibi bowl from your Pickering location and it was extremely disappointing. We have had food from this location many times but it appears to be under different ownership with new employees. The menu appears to have changed to offer only bowls and wraps. The bowl we ordered was essentially rice with a little over cooked meat and crispy fried pieces of wrap. It will only be a matter of time before people catch on and see what they are getting for their money and will go to other places like Osmows etc. Unfortunately they just lost a repeat customer and more than likely others will also avoid this location in Pickering.

Such a small portion size bowl for their specialty bowl which they don't even fill up. Cost me $15 which is overpriced thought quality would matchup bit way too tangy sauce... Overkilled it 🤢.

Bought 2 plates with the stingiest amount of chicken maybe 3-4 pieces on each plate. Very dry old chicken. Bought 6 pc falafel which where cold and not crispy. Very very disappointed specially I am fasting. Would not go there again

So, not sure when this place opened, but it is amazing. Everything is extremely fresh and full of flavour. Their falafel are made to order. Do not go without ordering a side if you don’t make them the main for your meal. Please do yourself a favour and place an order here.

On Feb 10th, around 7pm, I ordered the Jamaican Jerk Chicken bowl and ended up getting a mediocre rice with hot lava chicken that was extremely spicy . The chicken did not taste like a jerk chicken but rather a chicken spiced up with hot pepper that is capable of sending pain signal to the brain .The sensation that came from eating this meal was unforgiving. Eating this type of food may cause physical harm to a well functioning digestive system. There was no garlic sauce added to the rice bowl. Paid $16 plus tax and tips but ended up getting a non value disgusting meal from this Pickering restaurant.

Love this place! I'd put it on par with Osmow's and Lazeez, maybe even better! They've got massive portions, tasty options, good pricing, and the staff are quick and friendly! I'd say the wraps get a bit too greasy sometimes so that would be my only feedback, but the plates and other stuff are perfectly fine!

The food was finger-licking good. Absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, patient and prompt. I would love to visit again if they weren't so far from me. I absolutely loved my food and my friend loved here. Great tasting meals. I ordered the Jamaican Jerk Chicken with rice and my friend bought the butter chicken. I could rave on and on about the food but I don't want to give out my identity as a foodie 🤣 Over all, I had an amazing experience here.

Ordered one chicken sawarma and one Gyro wrap. What we liked - Taste was really good for both the meat, well seasoned, tender and juicy. Quality 💯 Portion size is excellent, their house hot sauce is 🔥, so so good. (I got it on the side). What we did not like - Even after getting extra sauces in both the wraps it was still dry. Staff wasn’t welcoming at all. No smile, no communication, felt like they were forced to work and not liking what they doing. Will be back for another experience and for trying their bowls.

Came here due to a tahini craving! It’s a cute small place to drop by in Pickering Like usual I expect the food to be good :) The place was clean. There was sufficient seating based on the size of the location Only thing that really gets to me is the pricing. Ordered a gyro rice bowl for $16.00 The bowl although wasn’t as made/filled nice as the other locations. And the meat was over cooked :( and somehow I had pickles - which were too salty and I never asked for pickles

Been dying to try this place out since it opened. I have a new found love for middle eastern food. Ordered the chicken shawarma bowl. It was just alright to me. The hummus was nice a creamy and had a hint of lemon. It was unlike any other humans I’ve had. The garlic sauce and hot sauce didn’t add depth to the bowl. And the chicken itself was just alright. In my opinion it’s not as good as Osmows. Maybe I’ll have to give it another shot.

The tahini offered a delightful blend of flavors with the rich creaminess of tahini complementing the savory shawarma. The dish was well-balanced, and the tender meat paired perfectly with the smooth texture of the tahini sauce. A satisfying and flavorful experience overall.

No customer service at all. Literally was waiting to place an order but they were busy fixing something. When finally done fixing whatever it was they didn't even apologize for the wait. Just a "what do you need". I understand this a job for students and newly landed immigrants but customer service goes a long way. This has to improve. Good food though. Always quality and fresh.

Service was 10/10 and the quality of food and taste 10/10, some of the best gyro meat I’ve had and they were not stingy with the amount of meat or toppings. Much much better than lazeez and osmows especially when it comes to quality of meat being used.

Been to this location a couple times and had their bowls. The food was fantastic cooked to right, and seasoned right. Great atmosphere, the workers were very welcoming and kind. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends who live east end.

Great service, delicious food, clean restaurant! First time to Tahinis and was amazed with the service, delicious food, and cleanliness of the restaurant. The girl that took my order was very polite and patient with me. I didn't know what to order and didn't know their menu. She was explaining to me the menu without rushing me even though it was lunch time and other customers were waiting to place their order too. Food was delicious, juicy and fresh, and most importantly, the way they had the wraps on the tray was very presentable, which makes you feel as if you went to a fancy restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back when I'm in the area next time.

In addition to me saying it I heard others say “that’s a lot” .. you don’t get to hear that as much.. Amazing… first time trying it - welcomed by their generosity, the restaurant offers a convenient $5 credit, (ps they know you are going to come back because they absolutely know how good their food is) ordered two shawarmas - jerk chicken and the original shawarma - both exceeded expectation. Pricing is fair and surprised I ordered the small but easily felt like the medium. Everything was well balanced. This place has definitely earned my business. I feel quite strongly about their poor YouTube marketing content. I hope they stop the comedic approach (cringe) and start making a difference to communities in a more professional manner. I went here to see what the buzz was and it was worth it.

This is one of amazing Tahini’s location. The staff are friendly and helpful. Variety of options in the menu, very detailed and easy to choose from ! Of course Authentic cuisine, made fresh and original, highly recommend to friends and family and will be returning next time!

Tried this restaurant first time and trust me it was not only good but the best. I dine in with my family and got dozen of Falafel, couple of butter chicken wraps. A young lady, Sharofat, was working there and served us with an effective manner. She was very nice and professional. As we went during evening time, and the restaurant was busy but I love the way she managed to handle the rush and prepare the orders with full accuracy. For sure, I’ll visit again and see you. Keep it up Lady. You’re doing a great job!!!
