When I heard COBS Bread was coming to Pickering, I instantly got so excited! but when I got there and saw the selection, I was a bit disappointed. Now let me preface this by saying I'm used to going to a no frills type bakery, meaning, one where customers are allowed to walk through racks of baked goods and pickup what they please. COBS Bread has a different set up then I'm used to, it's more of a upscale bougie bakery feel and price. We came around 3pm on a weekday and they were sold out of Sourdough bread. They staff told us Sourdough is one of their most popular ones and usually gets sold out in the mornings. Nonetheless, I still really wanted to see what they had. We ended up getting: 2 Spinach Feta Croissants 1 Plain Croissant 1 Spinach Mushroom Mini Pizza 1 Apricot Delight Log Our total bill came out to $23 The baked goods were pretty good but not outstanding. I did really like the unique logs of bread they offered like the Apricot Delight and Olive Breads. The staff were so kind, friendly and patient with the customers, and I really loved that almost all the employees were female! #womensupportingwomen I'm a bit on the fence about whether I will come back here.

I want to highlight the great customer service I received at this location. Last night I placed and online order for pickup today, the earliest pickup time available was for 10am. I called this morning asking if there was any way I could pick up my order earlier and they were very accommodating and asked when I wanted to pick it up, I was able to pick up my order at 8am, only half an hour after I called them. I appreciate the staff at cobs for putting in the extra effort to get my order ready early and I would highly recommend this location for both their customer service and also their delicious food!

This was my go to spot for croissants but they’ve become very inconsistent. Nothing more frustrating than getting a stale croissant at a premium price.

Fresh baked goods! The bread came right out the oven fresh, warm and delicious! Small place, had to lineup outside. The wait was definitely worth it! Loved the fresh scones and bread.

I never been to Cobs before and I read the pickering location reviews and many said customer service was horrible I was thinking to go to the whitby store as It was my first time and I had many questions about their products I didnt want a rude staff member . But today I took the chance I gave them a try and it was such a pleasant and fun expierence mutiple staff members asked me if I was taken care of and the two staff ladies were so happy and joking one came out with a tray of hot cinnamon rolls and everyone was in a happy fun mood. I wanted to tip them but they didnt accept as it may be their store policy . Now to the bakery , Everything tasted amazing fresh.

Fantastic bread, super friendly and helpful staff. The apricot delight bread is wonderful and the croissants didn't last more than a few seconds, great with coffee. The still warm sourdough loaf is going to make great sandwiches for lunch. YUM!

Visited Cob’s Bread with my mom and it was a delightful experience. The service was outstanding - the staff were friendly and helpful. Despite the small size, the bakery was cozy, with tempting baked goods all around. I had a chocolate croissant, and my mom picked up a variety of baked goods, all were fresh and delicious. Highly recommended for your sweet cravings!

Love their scones! Blueberry-lemon, apple-cinnamon, raspberry-white chocolate choices. Fresh breads and all sorts of goodies.

Cobs bread is my most favourite spot of all. Be it dinner lunch or breakfast or just a snack. They have the fresh bread. I love love love their sourdough buns. So fresh crip and has that sour taste . The Pickering staff are so nice. My boyfriend who was indifferent to bread,Just took him to the cobs bread Pickering location. He absolutely loved their service, the fresh bread smell and I literally got him hooked to the sourdough buns and their spinach feta scones. Also want to note that the cashier forgot to add my points and gave me a free raspberry scone. Amazing experience over all.

It was our first time at cobs bakery and I really wanted to like it. We got a apricot log, six pack of scones, a blueberry twist and a raspberry twist. The white chocolate raspberry scone was the best thing we ate and it was good. The workers at the bakery were nice. The twists were okay. Overall I would have given this place 3/5 but dropped it to 1/5. When I was eating a piece of the apricot log I bit into a small piece of rock embedded into the bread. Good thing my 15 month didn't eat that.

The scones were good. Danish was okay. Quite a variety of other savory and sweet items.

Very friendly staff. Pastries were okay. Prices were too crazy. $4.25 for a small croissant is brutal. Probably not going back due to prices.

The gourmet buns are a "cheat code" for awesome BBQ burgers, dogs and sausages. Really enjoy everything we try here. Sourdough Vienna for melts or grilled cheese is another favorite...

I love the breads at Cobs and have always had nice service but today at the Pickering location, I was spoken to in such a rude manner that I have to leave this review. Customers should not be spoken to as though we are somehow intruding. I purchased over $50 but instead of a thank you. I was spoken to in a rude manner and told to call ahead next time if I wanted 4 loaves at once. Really? I guess I should have only bought 1? I will never go back to this location. I don't need to be spoken to like some grade schooler by a server. Maybe the person should think about their tone of voice and manner in which they speak to their customers and also observe if they only do it to certain races of people and not all.

😠 I like silver spoons food a lot but for last two three- four days the chicken and veal biryani rice is fully uncooked. It tastes like the chef didn't cooked the rice just mixed the meat with uncooked rice. Also the nan is also uncooked. The dough feels like raw. You guys should taste your own food b...

😠 I would like to start off this review by saying the food does taste great at the Pickering location. My issue is the fact that they no longer allow you to order take out food off of the lunch menu. I like to pre-ordered my lunch and go pick it up since I only have a 30 minute lunch break. I had to g...
