After a long long time, there is a real coffee shop in this small neighborhood. Owners are very friendly, and made it very clean and cozy environment. Babaganush is the best in menu. Lots of middle eastern coffee. And Satirday night with dance and music was memorable. They intend to hold cultural night on every Saturday. Highly recommend to come and enjoy this little wonderful oasis in harsh Pickering landscape.

Very sweet family-owned establishment! Very unique options for coffee, including Turkish coffee which was very delicious! When I ordered a water, the owner poured half the water bottle into my cup at the table, which I found very hospitable. Very kind, generous family and delicious treats. I had a berry Danish which was so good! I would definitely go again.

The cutest little coffee shop with the sweetest owners! I got the caramel flan mousse and it was so yummy. You even get it in a tiny espresso cup you get to keep. Will definitely become a regular!

Nice and cozy coffee shop with a nice cultural feel to it. I was honestly just trying to pick up some ice cream for my wife, but the owner was so welcoming I had to dine in and try a few dishes. Great addition to the neighborhood

Very happy to have discovered this lovely, family friendly cafe in Pickering. A hidden gem. Excellent Turkish coffee, Cappuccino and hot chocolate. Super friendly owner, Riad and his family made us feel very welcomed. They treated us like family and were most accommodating in answering our questions and afforded us a most enjoyable and memorable dining experience.

The creme brulle was airy and decadent, baklava was sweet without being too sweet. We were blessed to a dessert that was dumping size with a rich lightly floral(bergamot?) flavored cream and I wish I knew the name of it. The turkish coffee served in authentic cups, was lightly spiced with cardamon. A lovely family owns this lounge and you are welcomed like family. Please come out to try if you love a warm atmosphere with quality coffee and food. An experience I will certainly repeat.

Half Moon Coffee and Lounge is absolutely amazing. The food is delicious and the service is great. They are such nice people. We went last week to try it and have gone 3 times Since then. Today we ordered dinner, falafal wrap and chicken with home made fries. Will 100% go back!! Keep up the great job! A must visit in Pickering!

Beautiful ambiance. There’s nothing bad I can say. Came here with a few friends and tried the samosas, Turkish coffee and had a lovely conversation with the owner. Definitely something you need to try asap! Will be back soon.

Friendly owners, nice atmosphere, lots of affordable and delicious eats. Been here a couple times and each time has been a pleasant experience. Cafe is located quite near so it’s definitely a great place to walk over to whenever I’m in need of a quick bite. Would like to see this place be promoted more often, it’s such a hidden gem.

Went here with my sister. The food was great, everything surpassed my expectations. The prices were relatively cheap. The place was very cozy, and I loved the decorations. It’s in a very accessible place, and it’s about time we got a coffee shop nearby! Would definitely go here again!
