Ordered a Long Island ice tea and got an ice tea. Did not have any alcohol taste for a drink that is meant to be strong. Waitress said they used a “mix” of alcohol (supposed to be gin+tequila+Vodka+triples sec+rum and definitely more than the shot glass given to us) The waitress explained that the owner would not cover the cost of this drink and she would have to pay from her own pocket. This is disgusting to expect your employees to pay + your drink should be accurate representation of classic cocktail Waitress was polite and apologetic for “house rules” nevertheless this experience has left a bad impression and we called our night off early and left. We will not be back.

This place is getting a 4 star strictly based on the service I received. Would have given a 2 or 3 based on food I was served by Sarah who I believe is one of the managers? She was amazinggggg super nice and welcoming with a complete understanding of the menu. I ordered cauliflower bites, spinach dip and cheese curds. The cheese curds and cauliflower bites tasted the exact same. And the spinach dip was just alright. Would I come here again? Yes,but wouldn’t go out of my way.

Pretty decent pub. They have a customizable appetizer platter that’s pretty cool and they have live music occasionally too, which is fun to see. Great drink menu with lots of variety. The waitresses were friendly and helpful.

I visit the Gryphon for the wings and great pub atmosphere. Look online for wing specials on weekdays and during games. Their food menu is extensive and I’d also recommend the shepherds pie and curry dinner. 🥧 🍛 Wings, Ribs & Appetizers are great too. 🍗 🥕 They draw a fun crowd for sports games, off track horse betting and live music. Service is awesome, bar tenders & servers do a great job at making sure you have a great time and always have a full drink! 🍻

My favourite spot for pub wings and brew in Whitby. Always friendly service and you cannot beat their daily deals. You can pretty much get cheap wings every day. Not a huge selection of flavours but most of the ones they have are on point. I'd stay away from the jerk flavour though, definitely did not impress anyone in my family. The rest are great, especially cajun and 40 creek whisky.

Bar, where drinks that theoretically (according to all industry standards and common sense) should have up to 20% strength actually feel lighter than wine (12%) or even beer (5-7%). (Feels like)Super watered down stuff, (feels like) concentrations are off, taste is non existent - IMHO. Personal choice for everyone: you get 2 nice cocktails in nice place for ~30$ or 4 very questionable portions of tea/pepsi/tomato juice in this one.

Ordered chicken wings take away, the chicken was soo dry and I am very sure it was stored atleas weeks, they know the quality is poor and deliberately packed, the waitress was soo arrogant while taking order. We come to relax and not to take damn. Overall I felt the food and service is pathetic. Strongly recommend not to visit this place, I am not sure why its rated so high, may be for the 45" inch tvs.

Awesome Pub Loved the place and the ambience. The server was very friendly too I would recommend everyone to visit the place.

I go here with a group of people after work quite often and the food is always great. We always seem to have the same waitress and she is seriously rude. She acts like you are bothering her for asking for another drink and snaps back at you with some remark or a dirty look when you ask her for something. The service isn’t necessarily bad because you get what you order and she comes to the table but her attitude was enough to not return. Super uncomfortable experience

Had Friday steak dinner, and stir fry chicken. We asked for medium well done and it was perfect except the edges of the steaks were burn and tasted burnt bitter. Otherwise everything was great, the service is amazing. The servers were too good, that’s why could not tell them that the steak was burnt on the edges. Will come back for the nice cozy environment.

Home of World's Worst Chicken Wings!!!! Ordered a "pound" and got 8 of the smallest, no meat, all bone wings you will ever see. I have had wings at many pubs in the area and these were the worst by a country mile. Even on wing night at $6 a pound I felt ripped off and waitress looked embarrassed to even serve them to us. Beer was good and the place had numerous TV's to watch the Leaf game so will give them two stars for that but this pub should be ashamed to put out such garbage and call them chicken wings.

Terrible food. Nothing is fresh. I ordered the classic burger and after biting into it the waitress confirmed it’s a frozen burger from Cisco. This is insane to me, you can easily prepare a homemade burger with in house seasoning and spices for the same price. The food is sub par and if your drunk and don’t know any better than you can eat here. Outside of that I would not recommend.

The staff is amazing and the food is so good I have to many Dishes I can't decide what I like more and all so there is Karaoke every Thursday night

Had a blast there a few days ago. Service was quick and friendly! Wings were good! Beer was cold! Great atmosphere in the bar.

There was a tall server who is very nice, he served us very delicious wings. Would recommend this pub to everyone.

Great place,. Prices are only second to Chuck's. Service was good. Place was clean. My only complaint will be that the wings were very small....

Been coming here off and on for last 15 yrs or so, but a lot more regularly in last 2 years or so. Beer is good, food is good, staff are great. Its a local casual bar that serves me very well and I recommend it with no complaints.

I always have a great time here. Staff is great and any issues with food or drink or always fixed quickly and with incredible professionalism. Always would recommend here as a place to visit in the area.

Nice smaller pub was busy as we came during hockey playoffs plus it was wing night. Good pub food, I had the wings great value of $7 lb on Wednesday Wing Night! We also had a regular cheese burger with mash potatoes. The burger was delicious mashed potatoes were also good with the gravy! The place does get a bit loud as it is small but again it was hockey playoffs!!

I met some friends for a couple beers and ordered the Half Rack of Ribs and five Wing special. It came with fries and was very reasonably priced for the size and quality of the meal. The waitress was there when we needed her and very personable. Support local! Local beers on tap from Town Brewery! 👌🏻

Good vibes, Thursday night karaoke is alot of fun. Good atmosphere, and cold drinks, about all you need for a good bar.

The waitress with the dark red hair who work from Aug 26. So rude. She should not be in customer service. She rolled her eyes when I asked politely for a drink and it was only my second. She is rude to everyone around me expect her regulars.

Went there for wings with friends..at the end of the evening ask for our bills Gave the money cash and waitress does not come back with the difference in change which was significant trying to steal tips ..also over charged my friend as well for what they ordered that nite I have no issues with tipping but don't try and steal the tips ..btw place was not busy either basically dead in there Definitely won't go back Rip Off

I got the wrong Uber order (because of the driver) & I called this Pub & they helped me out with everything. Very respectful & professional service & very good food with good prices! Very happy with this place!

First time ever at this pub. Very friendly staff, went over and beyond for my friend who can't eat gluten. I ordered a curry and it was perfectly done. My friend ordered steak and that was done to perfection as well.

The food is freshly made and tasty. I wouldn't say it's pleasureable dining, its always loud & noisy. If you don't mind the noise and you want something delicious to eat then stop by.

Picked up some late night food. Ribs and wings combo was delicious! Staff was very welcoming. Would recommend.

There is a waitress named Chelsea there and she is an awful waitress. I am a regular there and it took her 10 minutes to ask us if we wanted a drink and menus and it wasn’t busy… I usually have the best experience with the waitresses Casey and Sarah , but this woman served my mom 1 double drink and myself (that’s doesn’t drive) three shots and one drink In almost three hours, and called the cops on my mom for drunk driving because we gave her a bad tip that she absolutely deserved. She was bland and rude the last three times we have been there. This place is an amazing pub and always feels like home unless this waitress is there and I wanna give people a warning because eating And having drinks out is not always about what you get it’s about the service… AGAIN THE WAITRESSES CASEY AND SARAH ARE THE BEST WAITRESSES OUT THERE ❤️

I went to the graphon last week for dinner and I got half rack of ribs and jumbo wings(4-5) for 15$ without tax and it was yummy as always, great prices, 👍 👌 😋

I live just down the street from this pub .the menu is pretty decent.. I recommend the steak dinner..19 dollers but my theory is if it's great .. worth it then

Had a couple sip of a beer which we didn't like. Asked for a different beer. The manager was like no......that's the beer you ordered. It's not like I drank the whole beer and was asking for something different. Four sips at the most. Just an exchange.........do you want me to pay for it is what the manager said. Never had that happen before

The food , feeling and the staff make the experience here top shelf. I could not be more impressed with Chelsea and Nikki. Their friendly personalities add to the great atmosphere here at The Gryphon Pub.
