If I could give a place negative stars I would. Not only are they unprofessional they allow racist employees, physical assault, and slurs upon a black woman by a white male customer. Nothing was done about the situation and yet the woman was put at fault for standing up for herself in a situation where THE ESTABLISHMENT was clearly in the wrong. It’s disgusting and I hope whatever legal movement is taken against you is successful on her end.

A black woman was banned from this store after she was slapped, choked, and called slurs by a white man. They are protecting a racist and an abuser. Be careful where you spend your money.

My mother and I decided to go to loblaws lastnight to get a father's day cake and we honestly picked the worst place to go pick a cake up. We stood at the bakery waiting for 10 mins a women that worked there seen us waiting she turned her head and continued to do what she was doing. A white customer came over and she yells hi do you want a cake then comes over to serve the women the customer had to tell her I think that they were waiting before me. This women who worked at the bakery didn't want to talk to me I tried calling her back more then once so I could get something written on the cake but she fully ignored me and was just rude. If you honestly don't have to shop here please don't go I really do regret taking my mom there and her having to feel the way that she did it wasn't a nice feeling. I honestly wished i had taken a picture of how she made the cake look when i asked her if she had one of those plastic fathers day signs for the cake. This was pure racism and I will never go back here I will let others know so they don't have to feel the way my mother and I felt.

Updating my review after I received amazing service and help from Jeannie in the meat department. . The store is organized and efficient. Good produce and meat, bakery selection. They have a large Joe Fresh Clothing selection as well. Loads of parking and enjoy their Wi-Fi. as well

I went here to buy new plants and they are really In very good condition and very well maintained. Have great variety of prepackaged pizza and their bakery is best. They gave me really fresh bresh and cut it for me.

This place has gone downhill. Most of the packaged meats that they sell has a very short shelf life - expires in a week or less. Most other grocery stores have longer shelf life. I am not even going to mention the prices.

Absolutely favorite grocery store! It is well kept, with great selection and amazing deals. Staff is polite, knowledgeable and always around to help! It’s one of the best grocery store in Pickering. Prices are very reasonable and best baking items are available. Very clean and very well organized. Huge store, great selection, decent quality items at a cheap price. Ample parking is available all the time. Very well organized and highly recommended! Also its great for picking up groceries using the PC express app. They usually have a typically high amount of open slots and many parking pickup spots available for the pick up option.

Always clean and easy to find items. It would be nice if there were smaller carts always available for a quick in and out shopping experience. Friendly staff, quick and efficient at deli counter and through cashier checkout. Great layout of store.

I love shopping at Loblaws Pickering for its fresh produce and great meat selection. On my recent visit (07/30/23), I decided to try the La Rocca Truffle Royale Cake as a snack, and it was absolutely delicious! The rich, velvety taste was a true indulgence. Moreover, the lady at the dessert bar was incredibly friendly, making my experience even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return for more! Highly recommended!

This Loblaws, is very clean, the staff is friendly and willing to help out. Lots of sale items, their meat section is fantastic.

This store is a great example of the blatant greed shown in companies today. Overpriced food, barely any cashes open during peak hours. Exorbitant prices for sub-par, half molding fruit is another problem.

You could live in this store. Very clean, organized, and everything you need, including a bathroom and a walk-in clinic on the 2nd floor. Well, how about that? Anyway, there is something even better: Maple-Soy Cedar Planked Salmon (frozen). Just follow the instructions on the package. It will work beautifully, and it tastes so amazing. Salty umami and sweet maple, with a nice fish too! Really, really good! Just drive down to your local Loblaws and get it! I am going to bring some on our camping trip this summer, because I think that the cedar plank approach will be campfire genius!

Store is clean. Staff is friendly. Sales are good but regular prices higher than most grocery stores of that caliber. I only buy sale items when shopping at any Loblaws.

Purchased a rack of ribs from the hot food kitchen and again, (4th time...glutton for punishment) they were dry as a boot. The scalloped potatos were nice and "crunchy" too ..very undercooked. Not sure why the steady decline to this area but, that's it for me and I certainly cannot recommend others waste their money. This kitchen used to be quite good, alas...the (roasted) chickens are still good so...

What the heck is going on with these prices. Record profits and you're telling me prices need to be this high? Things are 2-3 x more costly than before? I feel violated whenever I shop here! Shame on Loblaws and all these large grocery chains that believe this is ok. I'm not shopping here anymore. It is cruel where to subsist in today's Canada people are forced to use food banks or mortgage a home to feed their family. What have we come to?

I had a really good experience with the bakery. Needed a custom blue icing, chocolate cake for a birthday. Loblaws had it ready the next day and everyone at the party absolutely loved it. It was delicious and it looked great - just perfect. The lady who took the order was super helpful. Definitely using this bakery for future orders.

Good selection of various items. Their fresh salad and fruit section is amazing. Staff is very kind and generous. Love that they have international food items at their food counter. They have more than 4 flavors of samosas. Price range is very reasonable. Would love to visit again.

Came here for covid vaccine at the pharmacy. Fast and friendly service. The pharmacist was Filipino which helped make my mother-in-law feel more comfortable. Pfizer bivalent vaccine is available.

Though a bit on the expensive side, it's the best store ever. Huge variety of well organized goods, clean, with friendly staff ready to assist. The garden centre is well stocked and the plus point is the walk-in clinic in the 2nd floor. 👍👍

Loblaws has a great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. The seafood and deli counters have a great selection of seafood, meats and cheeses along with sushi, BBQ chicken and the fixings to go along with it. There is a huge selection of grocery items and other products in the aisles.

Large, spacious and very clean. The prices are on the high side, but Loblaws has always been pricey. The two problems that I had at this particular store are: a) They don't price match (and I only learned about that after standing in line for 25+ minutes); and b) Poor customer service. The cashier at the express checkout closed off his lane by simply posting a message on the checkout counter, without announcing anything to the many people who had lined up already. Zero communication skills whatsoever.

This location opens earlier than the other grocery stores in Pickering. It's clean and there's a pretty good selection but I'm too poor to shop here regularly.

Produce and meats on sale are never available! Visited on three separate occasions to buy meats on sale (ribs, steaks). Visited on the day the sale started. Said they ran out of the products and to come back another day. No thanks, I've tried multiple times.

No real logic to the layout, more footage to Joe Fresh and non food products so you have to walk all around the store to get from veg to dairy sections. Prices are way higher for fresh produce, prepared food and dairy than Farm Boy across the street

I visited the Garden Centre which was very well stocked and plants were healthy and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and helpful and loaded up my car for me. Great place to shop

Generally great store, good selection of produce, shelves and clothes. Polite employees that treat you like a human being. I know it's sad to say that that's not the standard everywhere nowadays.

We have found that whatever items are on sale are usually sold out no matter which they and waht time we visit. When you are putting something up for sale, you need to have adequate quantities on hand. What is the point advertising something in the flyer only for the members to not find it on the shelves?

I am not crazy that they are still attached to Joe Fresh and all the labour controversies that brings, and they haven't had the highest or longest pandemic pay for their frontline workers. Having said all that, I will give them credit for having an excellent selection of products across the spectrum. I have enjoyed more gluten and dairy free waffles, bread, burgers, etc. here than almost any other grocery store in Durham Region.
