October 1, 2023 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A beautifully maintained park caters to the needs of families seeking a peaceful picnic spot, individuals yearning for a delightful hike or bike ride, and those who prefer leisurely strolls with their families or dogs on leashes. The park also offers open fields for friendly sports games. During our recent visit, we noticed some areas cordoned off due to the planting of new trees. However, one particular highlight was the "Home Place Portal," adorned with exquisite carvings on its logs. Witnessing this meaningful and breathtaking artistry was truly a memorable experience.

Picturesque place for nature lovers. In a single go, one can enjoy walk amongst nature, lush grassy beds and eventually end up on beach. Nice weekend retreat. Home to Pickering Cricket Club. Parking is accessible and free.

Really large and relaxing park. Some First Nations memorial wood-carved totem poles can be found. Amazing field in summer time. Bicycle lane also passes through park.

Hiking trail is still wet now. I think it’ll be a great place when summer comes.

Not crowded, tons of parking spots, well maintained trails and a lot of wildlife to see! There’s also a large playground and sports fields near by. Short walk to the waterfront & shops make this a favourite spot to come back to.

Has a lot of parking, wheelchair accessible and family friendly! Nice place to go for a stroll with your dog, family, kids! Along the trail are some board signs that give people a chance to learn about certain species in the area and a little history behind it as well! One trail also leads to the beach that connects to Frenchman's bay which is amazing!

Very nice place to hang out with kids and family during the weekend, very good maintenance, if you would like you can watch cricket with pickering cricket club during weekends. Nice work by the management. Also you can mark history of taking photo under nuclear plant lol 😀. You have a nice ⛱️, it has full of pebbles, if you you want and ⛱️ you need to go to the other side. Nice place to visit and walk.

Very fun to toboggan in the winter time and a huge trail to walk through that leads to one end of the Pickering beach.

👍👍 Frenchman's Bay is a great place to visit and spend your day, chill and hike with friends and family. It is a small place with not many parking spaces. Once the parking lot is full, they close the main entrance at W Shore Blvd and then strictly follow “vehicle-out, vehicle-in” policy. There are ple...
