    I visited my local WalMart store to pick up a few items, and I was taken aback by the condition in which the store was kept. Almost every aisle had items scattered on the floor, and the shelves looked incredibly disorganized. Additionally, there were multiple shopping carts filled with random items and cardboard boxes left haphazardly in the aisles. The quality and standard of this location have clearly deteriorated significantly. The once-upheld quality is now severely lacking, and as a result, I often choose to shop at other stores.

    Can't remember when last I went Walmart but it's just a reminder of why I stopped. Carts randomly in the main aisles, along the back wall, shoes scattered through the aisle and worst part? The men's restroom at the rear of the store smelled so disgusting as if i was in a 1 star campground site. There were even employees that came into the bathroom but it doesn't appear to bother them? Perhaps nose blindness really is a thing? If employees have to use these facilities and also handle food, where does the sanitary aspect come into play?

    Does this store ever answer their phone? I'm trying for the past 2 hours and nothing! Can this mean that the overall service sucks as well? Many questions so I wouldn't want to take my business here to find out the hard way! After my posted review, I then read most of the other reviews and honestly was not surprised by those posts. HEAD OFFICE needs to INVESTIGATE this PARTICULAR STORE, or should RETRAIN or REPLACE MANAGEMENT AND EMPLOYEES all TOGETHER!

    This Walmart is really a Supercenter. It's the biggest, organized store I've seen in the area. Full of merchandise for your daily need. Fresh vegetables & fruits are available here. Meat sections have plenty of choices. Often you'll find very good ribeye steaks here. Sausages too many choices. Clothing is decent and fairly priced. Burger King is here instead of your other usual burger place. They have a bakery that freshly bakes every day. Ready to eat food hot and cold. One thing to keep in mind is you need to bring your own bags when you do your groceries or shopping on any Walmart in Ontario. Walmart will not have disposable plastic bags for you to purchase, only bags available are the reusable ones.

    "I come here to shop to feed my family I didn't come here to be harassed" - My Wife Why was my proud Afro-Caribbean wife racially discriminated against at this location by an outsourced security guard who felt the need to check my wife's receipt even though the security alarm never went off. Other people left the store with the machine going off yet my wife who is a visible minority was unfairly and racially targeted by this security guard. My wife stood up for herself and made other customers aware of the discriminatory practices carried out by this "outsourced" to remove accountability to Wal-Mart "Security". How do I know the security was outsourced because my wife talked to the manager directly. My family has been loyal customers at this location for 8 years and my wife has been a customer for over 20 years at this location. Imagine spending this much and still being accosted. No person buying groceries in this country deserve to have their honour or integrity put into question for trying to provide basic needs for their families.This is the very definition disgraceful conduct and is abhorrent. I posted the receipts with the date and time I am looking forward to someone getting to the bottom of this.

    Normally I am not one to leave a negative review but what I’ve experienced earlier tonight at this specific location was customer service at it’s poorest. I went to the beauty section with my 11 year old daughter that was looking for a specific face wash. We walked into the beauty section but could not find what we were looking for as we were walking out of the beauty section the associate that was in the beauty section turned to me and said “ did you buy something here because you need to pay for it” I replied no we did not. She gave a strange look as if I were lying. We went back into the beauty section a few minutes later and I asked the same associate if they carried “clean and clear” products she pointed as she yelled YES NEXT TO THE WOMEN AT THE END. Referencing a lady at the end of aisle. Found my product and walked up to the associate to pay. I asked the associate if I can also pay for my body lotion as well.. which would have totalled 2 items. She then said to me “yes but my beauty customers come first” my daughter had her allowance money and wanted to use for her face wash. When she rang up the items as my daughter was going to pay she says in a rude way “ oh we don’t accept cash” which btw she did not mention in the beginning. I asked her to kindly cancel the transaction and only put it through for the face wash and I will pay debit. She starts going on about how it’s going to take to long because “beauty customers were priority” even though the face wash was a “beauty product” my daughter had tears in her eyes as she felt she did something wrong. I looked at my daughter and told her it wasn’t her fault and that the behaviour of the associate was not a reflection of something wrong that my daughter did. I said to associate that this is very poor customer service and I asked what her name was. She pretended not to hear me, I asked again “what is your name” she responds “you are abusing me” mind you my 11 year old is standing there the entire time. I saw her name on her name tag but I wanted to confirm. When she was done cashing me out she looked at my daughter and said “don’t listen to your mom” I also went to the self check out and asked for a manager two nice cashiers asked me what was wrong.. I explained and they mentioned that they were not at all shocked as they’re had multiple complaints about Mirabel for other customers and nothing has been done which in my opinion is unacceptable. Walmart Pickering kindly stop paying the employees that clearly act as if they do not want to be there. Terrible experience.

    Today well at checkout I was paying with gift cards and because you cannot pay cash and gift cards at the same time -the assistant (who was supervising the check outs) staff member who was beyond nice charged the $3 something to her own credit card and allowed me to pay her the change in cash otherwise I would’ve had to struggle of putting everything back and re-scanning everything etc…. Thank you so much to that stuff number I did not catch your name but I am very appreciative Not every day you run into people who are willing to help out🫶

    Well today I was in this Walmart for the first time. I needed some pants. A lady named Helen was in that section, who went out of her way to assist me in finding what I needed. On my way out, i stopped by the Customer Service desk and spoke to a Supervisor named Mylene, who was wonderful. Both of these ladies were excellent with their service. There was a Customer survey on my receipt, that I filled out online, but it didn't allow for extra comments. I found the store clean, organized and well stocked, much better than allot of the other Walmarts. couldn't leave my comments online, so i'm leaving them here. Hopefully the store Management will read this. It was a 5/5 experience with the store and the 2 ladies...

    So disappointed. They have eliminated all cashiers at this location and everyone is forced to scan their items themselves. I saw single moms struggling with babies, I saw families trying to scan groceries and keeps kids behaving, it was a zoo. I had to scan a huge load all by myself. The leadership should admit that scanning groceries is a two person job. Particularly for elderly people, people with disabilities or other limitations. Very disappointed.

    Now that the renovations are finally done, I can safely say that this location looks and feels so much better. They've definitely moved things around and lowered the shelf heights so you can see the large department Channel Letter signs that hang from the ceiling. Most of all, I'm so excited that they finally have a Bakery now! ( Pro Tip, Walmart makes some amazing Jalapeno Cheese Croissants ) I think I will definitely be coming here more often now.

    Usually love this place. But was not happy around Thanksgiving. The same day the turkeys went on sale they were sold out I was told by an employee that some customer was allowed to purchase 10 Turkeys!!! Who needs 10 turkeys. You put limit on other things why not that when other ppl came in to get one. Considering they weren't even on sale until the Thursday before Thanksgiving!

    Very dangerous. Staff at this store travel way too fast with heavy carts, an employee crashed into my shopping cart at such a high speed. Need to train the staff on slowing down and making sure to stop and look before crossing aisles. I could not imagine what this would have looked like if they crashed into a kid or an elderly person.

    Charlie, whom I believe works for their loss prevention team, was shadowing me while shopping. I found it odd, so I had to inquire. After confronting him, he said I was opening the packages. I had to educate him on what opening the package looks like. When an item has a cut-out on the back of the box coming from the manufacturer, this is not considered opening the package (this is for the shopper to view the item without having to actually open the package). He proceeded to argue with me on this, so I had to involve the store manager as his behavior was unacceptable. 3rd party or direct employee, I doubt they will do anything about it, but perhaps he needs more training on how to deal with some customers, however, it is not his job to interact with customers shopping. Look from afar fine, but don't come and stand beside me and watch my every move. This is called harassment. Hopefully, they get their act together.

    I love this Walmart so much because the employees are so friendly and helpful They're so kind with the babies. And I always come to this Walmart because I can find my items so quickly. Because the employees helping me to find them. I'm working at shopper app I just accept Walmart shop because I can find my items so quickly. Not all Walmart the same I had bad experience also from Walmart but not from this store . Just this Walmart I love so much.     Top tier service. Great staff who went above and beyond for me tonight to make sure my family and I got everything we needed. I also wanted to highlight the EXCEPTIONAL work of our cashier tonight, OJ. This young man deserves whatever recognition your company allows. Truly class individual. You are very fortunate to have someone like that on your team. Thank you Pickering Walmart!

    I was in line yesterday when I was told another cashier was open. The cashier who's name I do not know but was in a sitting in a chair was complaining to a customer how she doesn't understand customers like myself who don't use self check out. She said "instead of standing in line, I could have just gone and tapped." There was a considerable line at self serve and people like her don't understand that she's potentially sabotaging her own job security. Then she went on to complain about management and how mismanaged everything is. I guess she really loves her job..huh? To Management, can you tell your employees to stop complaining to customers about other customers within earshot. Also, she seems to think you management is the problem as well.

    The incident that happened today was something that I can easily choose to let go—it wasn’t a big deal but I thought it was too unbelievably ridiculous that I am opting to share! I went to this store at noon today to buy some food to eat for lunch. I proceeded to go to the self check-out to pay for my stuff. At the end of the transaction, as they always do, the screen asked for a rating between 1 to 5 stars. Having had to check myself out, no option for recyclable paper bags that could have been supplied for those who needed them, and consistent stock shortage, it was an easy decision to give them a 1-star rating. It was my right to give however many stars without a need to provide any justification for the rating I choose to give. But that right was taken from me by a female employee who popped out of nowhere and took the liberty of changing the rating to 5 stars as she questioned my reasons for giving a 1 star. WHO CARES?! WHETHER OR NOT THE RATING I GAVE WAS WARRANTED, IT WASN’T FOR ANYONE TO CHANGE. Honestly, I wish I had told her that what she had done was a good example of why the store deserved the 1-star rating. Hopefully she doesn’t work for Google and change the rating here, too!! LOL

    Went to the store yesterday to get a refund at the photo centre they told me I had to wait for an employee from the exchange desk at the front of the store. They were called no one showed up then the girl from the photo centre went to the front desk. They were called again no none showed up so she went to the front desk again. She called again no one showed up so I told her to call a manager she said I will go to the front desk again. Finally some lady that had a badge of some sort that said manager arrived & then another lady appeared & she told her how to do the refund she had to try 6 times. It should not take an hour to get a refund. I am thoroughly disgusted with the customer service that was provided. I am a manager & if my staff made a customer wait to be looked after I would show them the door. Why do people that do not want to work show up & make customers lives miserable. Stay Home.

    Buyer BEWARE!!! I’m warning you that Walmart now has the worst return policy ever. They are not forthright in letting us know they do not accept returns anymore on final sale items. There is no visible signs anywhere to indicate this, nor is it on the receipt. The only place where you will find this information is on a small note taped to their Customer Service counter (this was pointed out to me when I attempted to return an item). Do they really expect us to look in this inconspicuous spot for their return policy?? Why not make large signs visible throughout the store and at the entrance??? Because of their con artist approach in their return policy, I find I no longer shop Walmart much. Also, the manager of this location needs some very serious schooling on effective communication and how to handle customer complaints. She comes off as cold and non-caring. Rudest person I’ve encountered in a long long time. Head office needs to investigate this particular location and make improvements where needed. All they need to do is listen to their customers and read the reviews to know what the issues are. Oh btw, let me not forget to mention staff walking around the store on their personal cellphones, the long lineups at Customer Service, and the lack of Covid-19 prevention protocol. Not a good look at all. Need I say more????🤔

    OK, it's Walmart, so you can expect some competitive prices, good sales, and although you get greeted, you will find it difficult to track down help once you are in the aisles. Lots of people come here, so expect to wait. Happily, they have installed a big self-checkout station, which gives them an extra star from when I last visited. They also have large signs to help you find departments. Well-priced groceries, too! You could, basically, just live here if we have a zombie apocalypse.

    Passed through with my pops to pick up a prescription at the pharmacy. They were pretty quick to fill his order, while we walked around and killed some time for 20 mins. Great deals and lots of stock to choose from for Boxing Day sales!

    There are no cashier's, it is all self check out and no plastic bags. So come prepared accordingly. You can buy small reusable grocery bags for $0.33 at check out. They have discontinued some of the European international products I used to go to Walmart for specifically.

    My review is for OSL wireless. Please, I beg you, be aware if you are purchasing a phone AT Walmart, it is not covered by Walmart. This is basically a third party seller renting space from Walmart. If possible, you are better off purchasing it online from Walmart and covered by their warranty. I spent an hour with this kid named Saleem at the Pickering location. He gave new meaning to the word lazy.

    I like fresh vegetables and fruits in this place as it will be always clean and good. Any kids products and stationery nothing will be available at any time. Always empty, even you question any representative no answer. Also you won't find them any time sooner. Re Stock needs to be improved a lot and proper clean needed. You would get all car items in stock,kudos to that team . Ornaments and dress will be in stock, but none will be in place all jumbled and thrown like old things , which is sad for new items. Who ever does to keep it right kudos for them.

    Lots of fun hearing everyone complain about having to self checkout. Nice that they keep most of the cashier stations closed. Update May 2022 even more of a dump. Skids block every isle. Store employees have right of way. Products on wrong shelves. All self checkout with multiple employees standing around talking to each other.

    Stopped carrying Hunts Manwhich sauce. About 75 brands of tomato sauce but can’t spare shelf space for a single product. This sauce is unique and my go to for sloppy joes. Your employee is wrong, Club House dry mix packets and Manwhich sauce are not the same thing.

    I ordered groceries yesterday and they were supposed to be delivered today between 1-2pm it’s now 4:08pm and I called customer service and they said they don’t have any update that the order will eventually come. I have guests for dinner and I have not even started my dinner because the delivery hasn’t showed up and I can’t get any answers from customer support. Not to mention the Walmart at brock isn’t even picking up their phone. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company and filing a complaint with the better business bureau

    I did grocery pick up for the first time at this location, I was served by Arvin and another coworker. He was extremely quick with the order, super polite and friendly, and made the whole pick up experience so easy and convenient. (Loaded the items into my car etc). I love curbside pick up now. The only thing he didn’t do was except a tip from me. I guess they’re not allowed to be tipped for this, and yet still provide excellent service!

    Staff not very knowledgeable of store items. Had to ask 7 different associates where butane fluid is kept only to find out they were sold out. Quite frustrating when staff use the excuse "I'm sorry, I'm new or I don't know". Take ownership and find someone who would know, whether a more senior associate or a supervisor. Don't just wash your hands and walk away. You are in a customer service job. Geez

    Had a interview here for overnight. They made a day time hiring manager interview me which made no sense cause the overnight hiring manager is suppose to. And she said I might have to come in again to see the correct hiring manager after I travelled all the way from Oshawa.

    Not the best Walmart I have ever been too. Never find anything I need and mostly the shelves are empty. This is closet one to my house which is still a 10 mins drive. So I usually go once a month. So it’s disappointing when I don’t get more than half of the stuff on my list. Will be going to the Scarborough one from now on.

    Wal-Mart has great prices and a huge variety of products including fresh produce, love wandering the aisles especially in electronics, never know what will get my attention. Something there for everyone. Really helpful staff and management to help find what you need or to help you with those heavy packages all the way to the car. New feature - self-checkout has been expanded and has many more registers along with staff to help with those difficult items.

    Reusable bag broke. As I was walking home. Don't buy waste of money and food, when they break open. they said they replace my crushed vegetables but I have to walk back after my bag broke on me half way home. The handle ripped right off from the bag, and it was the lightest bag I had. And there is only one cashier working, the rest watch you scan your goods. At least give me a discount if I'm cashing myself out
