I didn't expect this is a "wild" place since it is so close to city, but actually, it is the forest where you can enjoy the wildness. I started from north-west entrance where there is a off-leash dog park, then it goes down to south and alongside a winding creek to a bridge, cross the bridge, it ascends by a concreate stairs to a platform, you can reach a lookout in the end of trail. To the north part of this conservation area, it's one section of trans Canada trail with less people travelled, it is wilder and more beautiful as my opinion. A good place for all season hiking, and you can hike from 1 hour afternoon walking to day hiking to 15 km.

It's a beautiful place to talk a walk with the dogs. Parking is a bit limited but you can park on the road.

It's very icy on some of the trails and also hilly - so wear the appropriate footwear or choose a non-icy path. Surprisingly - no birds at all. Could be all the dogs that people bring.

Great trails to take for four legged friends out for a hike. Lots of friendly people and dogs. Lots of trails to hike and explore. Be mindful that fall is not a great time to hike leash free if your dog loves eating or rolling in Salmon carcasses.

Gorgeous trail, be careful which one you take though as some are definitely more back country than others. Winter and icy conditions definitely need crampons!

Great huge park where your furry families can roam free! Mindful during winter some areas are slippery. No garbage disposal and no water stations so bring a bottle with you.

Greenwood is a great area for green/blue mountain bike riding. I always find new little trails each time I visit. It never gets old.
