The food portions have not changed despite COVID! Great value for money! It’s been awhile since we’ve gone out to eat and we decided to see how things were here. We arrived, no issues entering. Good safety protocols. We ordered pork souvlaki and a calamari dinner. Did you see how much calamari was on my plate?? The server is the same. Always friendly and asking if we want more bread. (Yes please!) We will gladly come eat here anytime if we are in the neighbourhood. Please come support this mom&pop shop too!!

Great food & service. Excellent appetizers. We ordered saganaki & fried calamari for appetizers and chicken sovlaki dinner and lamb gyros, for main course. Quantity & quality was excellent. Definitely going back soon.

I am extremely disappointed. The food we got was not at all what we expected. The calamari was very soggy & the rice wasn't even properly cooked... Roasted potatoes are simply some baked potatoes dipped in some sauce... Milos food was soo much better before.... I don't know how the quality went downhill so drastically... But I doubt I'll be ordering food from Milos again.

Large servings, priced right, delicious flavour and a friendly staff sums up every visit to Milos Greek Restaurant. We have been coming here for years. Come hungry and make sure to order the calamari 🦑

Wow. I just returned from taking my young daughters to dinner here. My family and I have been coming to this restaurant regularly for over ten years, and we have always enjoyed eating here. However, I’m afraid to say that those days may have come to an end. Their posted hours indicate that they are open until 10:30PM on Fridays. I called them just after 8:00PM to confirm this, and was told that they are closing at 9 instead. I then asked if we could come right over (we live just a few minutes away), and I was begrudgingly told that we could, but we MUST leave by 9:10. I said we would order ahead to save time. As soon as we arrived, we were immediately and angrily warned again that we MUST leave by 9:10. I said we would do our best, which was met with an angered response reminding me that NO, WE MUST BE OUT OF THE RESTAURANT BY 9:10!!!!!!! Moments later, she complained to my youngest daughter (who had lingered around near the entrance) that they have been closing at 9PM throughout the pandemic and everyone should know this – a real classy and welcoming touch to vent frustration at a child. (not to mention that Google indicates that their information was edited by the business less than a month ago, but I digress). Our food came promptly and we ate promptly, wanting to be respectful of their wishes for our promptness…but the bitter behaviour did not stop. I asked for some extra tzatziki and was told it would be 75 cents for a small container (approximately a teaspoon). In over ten years of coming here, I have NEVER been charged for extra, and I always ask for more because I love it! I didn’t care, I wanted to have it, so I agreed. While we ate, the waitress hovered over us constantly, and not in a doting way, but sulking and annoyed. Meanwhile, the kitchen staff were openly and loudly complaining about us. Both of my daughters independently told me on the way home about how they felt uncomfortable because the staff were saying things about us. Staff were arguing about other things as well (quite an atmosphere eh?), but we were definitely a target of enormous frustration. The bill came and I paid it as quickly as possible, including $5 worth of Tzatziki. I checked the time on my phone as we walked out, and we managed to leave by 9:11. My daughters thanked the waitress for dinner and she ignored them. I honestly don’t understand why they said we should come. I would have stayed home if they had! Obviously, they were absolutely furious that we were eating there, and they made us feel their anger every second that we were there. I feel sick now because I ate so fast (I’m not suggesting the food was bad, just that I shoveled it down my throat due to the palpable belligerence towards my daughters and I). I also don’t understand why they are so unhappy to be there that staying 11 minutes past closing brings about such furious hostility. As I said, I have been coming here for over ten years. I bring family from out of town here regularly. I have many memories here. I am very sad to report on my experience tonight...and frankly, I find the whole episode to be incredibly strange and confusing. However, I feel that others would want to know about this experience. We weren’t rude or obnoxious – I’ve always felt it is important to be polite to people who are providing food. We were ultimately able to leave when they wanted us, and hadn’t done anything to indicate that we wouldn’t. We sat promptly, ate food as quickly as they could bring it, and got out as soon as we were done. To me, it seems indicative of a dysfunctional work environment, and it is hard for me to imagine wanting to be fed by this group of people again. Our last visit was not so great, but we didn’t think much of it at the time. Looking back, it seems like a pattern of a place that was once terrific, but is now headed downhill in a hurry. I wish it weren’t so, as I’ve always loved coming here, but this experience tonight was just so aggressively dreadful that it no longer seems like a welcoming environment any more.

We dined at Milos for dinner and were impressed by their diverse menu offerings at very reasonable prices. Our meal began with two delightful appetizers: Kalamari and Saganaki Opa (Flaming Cheese). Both dishes were incredibly delicious. For my main course, I opted for the Penne Pollo, which was served with grilled chicken and mushrooms in a creamy alfredo sauce. Unfortunately, this dish turned out to be a letdown as the noodles were overcooked, and I felt a bit queasy after finishing my meal. On a positive note, the staff at Milos was exceptionally friendly, and the service was top-notch. Despite the mixed experience with the food, I would be willing to give them another try in the future.

We've been coming here a long time, doing takeout lately due to Wuhan pandemic. Food consistently good, healthy portions, fast service. Try the lemon potatoes, you won't be disappointed. This place makes Mr. Greek look like an amateur.

Tried a couple options both were very nice 👍🏻. The chops grilled the as I liked it and the portions were huge. The seafood 🦞 pasta were also very nice but a little sweet. Overall great service, and will be back again.

First visit to Milos and decided to have dinner. The appetizers were excellent. Both the saganaki and calamari were presented very well and calamari was cooked to perfection. The gyro dinner was prepared with my customization with less rice and more vegetables. Meat and rice was delicious however the vegetables were soggy, soft and mush which was disappointing. The speed at which the food came out was efficient and waiter was very good.

Just ordered lunch for my staff at Ravine Auto Repair Centre. We would like to thank you for the excellent service and meal! It was our first time ordering from Milos and it was absolutely delicious! The portions were great. Everything was fresh and absolutely amazing. We really enjoyed our lunch. Thank you for the great meal!

I love a good saucy salad. The salad here was great! The meat was made well, the rice and potatoes hit the spot, and tzatziki sauce always does me well! Overall, the price is worth the meal.

This place is all right for Greek food. I normally only come here it’s around lunchtime. You can’t go wrong with getting a chicken souvlaki meal for $12. I also come here for Saganaki. The service is amazing. The old man there is super friendly and charming. I feel what’s lacking at this place is the race it taste too much like tomatoes I feel like they need to switch it up and try out the lemon rice instead and then this place would be a 5 Star to be honest cause it’s super cute in there definitely gives Greece vibes. Just maybe tweak the recipe. Cause the rice is not it!

About a week ago, we decided to order catering for my daughter's baptism. We went in to the restaurant to see the sizes of the trays and better understand what we might need. They were extremely helpful! On the day of, the food was ready on time. Amazing portion sizes! All of our guests loved the food! They all wanted to know where we ordered from and wanted to get the name of the restaurant so they could order on their own. If you're looking for a great catering option, look no further! Thank you for making a huge part of my daughter's Baptism succesful!

We were so looking forward to coming to the restaurant for dinner tonight, and left extremely disappointed! I got fried calamari and it tasted as if it was left in swampy fish slime for a couple of days and then not even rinsed off and thrown into the frying pan, no flavour to them, worst fried calamari I have ever had! Will not be returning back to your restaurant, nor will the other guests at my table, or friends and family. Extremely disappointed! It's been over 6 hours and I still taste the swampy taste in my mouth from the food. I wish I could give it 0 stars! Also, our waiter was not welcoming at all.

Placed an orders for 8 individual meals to be delivered and the service was perfect. Delivery was within the hour as promised and each meal was labelled (including a gluten free meal) for easy distribution to our guest. And, everyone enjoyed their meal.

Went for dinner with family! There were 11 of us. Being a family of lifelong Greek restaurant owners we were very impressed. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was great! The prices are more than reasonable to be honest compared to other restaurants we have visited. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Greek food!

Service at the takeout section is very poor the young ladies have no sense of urgency they spent time making the container and not looking after the meals ordered they should be mindful of customers watching how they handle the food and keeping their hands clean at all times. I observed this behavior waiting for my food while the laughed and waited 10 minutes to start preparing my meal.

My family used to eat here weekly about 10-15 years ago feeding about 8 people. Portions use to be great! Now slim considering prices aren't slimming. Salad used to be my favorite part. One slice of tomato and no other veggies? I could make a more decent Greek salad at home. Overall, I'd pay extra for a better meal elsewhere than return here sadly.

I would like to give Milo’s a higher rating but the food didn’t deserve it. Ordered (via their own delivery) the combination souvilaki dinner. This dinner is basically $30 before taxes, delivery fee and tip. We got 6 bite sized pieces of meat and a ton of rice (unfortunately chalky and watered down) and potato’s (which were decent). Oh and 2 small limp pieces each of cooked onion and green pepper. The 2 small pieces of beef were dry and grisly ,they weren’t consumable. So, really 4 pieces of meat and a ton of carbs, a small salad and a large garlic bun for $30, plus tax, plus delivery fee, plus tip. Rice, potatoes and a generic white bun with tons of garlic butter will never add up to $30. We made the effort to spend money to support a local restaurant to get shafted. Who ever put this order together and approved of it should be ashamed. The MAIN course is the meat. Yet the main course was the rice and a side of meat. Crazy. 1 skewer worth of meat ending up with a half of a skewer which the meat was dry and who really knows what level of freshness. I won’t go so far as to bother getting my money back. But that was so not worth even $20 And I pretty much spent near $40 for this.

This place has potential. The location is nice. The food isn’t. I believe that if a few changes are made, there be a lot of happy customers and a lot more business here. I really hope that the owner Can read this review and make some small adjustments, and get this restaurant really well. I see how hard the employers work, and our server was such a nice lady. Unfortunately the food was terrible, the worst I’ve had. RECOMMENDATIONS: - serve a high-quality bread, like sourdough bread, it should be nice and warm. Perhaps paying a few extra dollars, to make some good bread at the back. You may serve olive oil with vinaigrette, instead of slathering it with very cheap oil in a cheap hamburger bread, that becomes, very soggy. First impression is important, and if you bring a poor bread like you did we are already turned off from this restaurant. - The vegetables that came with the dishes, very apparent that they were frozen. Like the ones you get from the grocery shop. My suggestion is that you pick a few vegetables that are fresh, and you cook them, instead of getting frozen vegetables. - You may reduce your items on the menu, but every item you have should be high-quality. The dish my mother received was cold, uncooked,. Terrible feedback about the chicken. And my dish I reserved which was cheese pie, was very poor quality. I highly suggest that you get another creative chef that can help create a powerful menu and also offer suggestions about how to make it really good and tasty. I think that this restaurant needs a consult with a high chef to really improve the menu. I would be happy to come out and support in anyway (even though I’m not a chef, I see where improvements can be made). - you want to make sure that the spinach pie and the cheese pie are gourmet style. The one I received again was soggy, and not tasty at all, actually it looked like it was very cheap. To be very honest the quality of this restaurant is one of fast food. There is a poor quality of the overall foods and the way it is prepared. When I come to this restaurant I do not see high quality of food preparation, or thoughtfulness of preparation, and also skill set in how the food is prepared. It looks like there is actually just a rush to put out some kind of food that is made quite quickly and easily without any thoughtfulness or preparation. And we are paying a lot for each item like $20 or more. Overall this restaurant needs a menu lift, and a whole different energy of the food. I really hope improvements can be made. It’s not that hard. Invest some time in money, and you’ll have many more customers that are happy. -

First time I've been there. Ours was one of two large parties, with about 15 at each table. Service was good. Prices were reasonable. I had Greek salad chicken souvlaki - pretty standard and that's fine. Garlic bread was tasty and generous.

  • 1/5 Labeeb A. 1 year ago on Google
First and last time. Service was terrible. Waited an hour for our food and we watched people seated after us get their food first even tho we ordered the same items. When we got the food the chicken tasted fishy, was cold, and dry. Rice and potatoes were mediocre if that. Some of the rice was underdone. Not sure if they are in a management change but over all this is and will be my first time and last time here. Sorry Milo. Not sorry.

I must express my profound disappointment regarding my recent experience with the kitchen staff at this establishment. Regrettably, I found myself enduring an hour-long wait for their highly-touted "for-two" meals, only to be presented with an underwhelming rendition of fish and chips. To exacerbate matters, the air conditioning was unoperable, forcing the staff to leave the door ajar, thus inviting the presence of unwelcome mosquitoes. Furthermore, the overall condition of the establishment left much to be desired. The tables and chairs exhibited signs of neglect, appearing worn-out and distressingly sticky. The ambiance, in its entirety, exuded a pervasive sense of old-age. Considering these disheartening aspects, it is with a heavy heart that I assert my unwavering decision to never return to this place. I implore you, dear reader, to preserve your hard-earned funds and refrain from setting foot in this establishment.

Great food for amazing prices in these Hard times where going out to eat is a luxury. Milos makes sure that everybody is fed for a great value. Souvlaki on a bun my favorite go to and can't forget about the greek Fries with their lemon Sauce. Overall great place to come for a quick dinner/lunch.

Ordered lunch for 15. It was beyond my expectations. The chef was just removing the chicken skewers from the grill as I was picking up. Everything was very fresh and attractively packaged. All the extras were included and lunch was enjoyed by all. I will definitely be back!

Awful awful awful. This place has gone downhill. New owners. The past few weeks we have ordered take out and there is always something missing Tonight our rice was so over cooked and mushy and tasteless. The salad was soggy and rusted lettuce. The fries were hard. The chicken was rubbery. We will never order from there again. Greek Stop at Dixie rd or Jimmy the Greek from the Mall are much better and more consistent

Picked up for first time. Average Greek food. Chicken dry and chewy. Greek salad which is just mostly lettuce was soggy, rice and potatoes mushy and overcooked. Garlic bread is just a bun lightly toasted with some garlic butter. It’s a pass for me

I have had dinner here with friends and can’t believe the chicken souvlaki dinners I ordered today came from the same restaurant. Not sure who was in your kitchen today but the food was just edible. Not much flavour and would not order takeout from here again. I may go and eat in someday, just to see if the food is different when you eat in. I also certainly hope the service is as friendly as I remembered, because if it’s as bad as the post with the poor guy who brought his daughters then you should close your doors and not use Covid as an excuse for rude behaviour.

We ordered some lunch and the flavors were decent, service really good with the young teen working there. The bolder generation is more picky and seems that they don't want to be there but rhey are still nice. We got chicken stir fry and the gyro meat (not the greatest taste) and portions were decent for the price. I feel that they can make it better, some more spices or some more of a kick. Still a decent meal. You can give it a try. Place is clean whic is important.

I ordered pork souvlaki dinner and chicken souvlaki dinner for delivery yesterday night. I paid 44 bucks before tip but the dinner was worth 10 bucks total. Potatoes and rice were pale and tasteless. Hardly any seasoning and sauce on the potatoes. The chicken and pork were dry, hard and had no salt. I thought maybe it was just the last couple of times when I ordered these, but it is becoming a consistent thing. The prices at this restaurant are not cheap. I have been coming here since 2000, but I am very disappointed and won't be ordering again. There was no reply to my email either.

I think that the food here is generally fine, and the take out counter service is always on point. That is until tonight, we just ordered about $60 worth of take away. One of the dishes was not up to the quality that we are accustomed to from here, so I called to give them an opportunity to redeem themselves. What a disappointing conversation, no solution to the complaint was proffered, until I asked if we could have credit for dish in question. Nope, a measly 15% was offered. If this had been in the dining room, I'm certain the dish would have been removed from the bill. That's standard operating procedure in the hospitality biz. Suffice to say we will no longer be giving Milos or business.

Oh.My.Gosh-- the best Greek food we've eaten in eons! Planned a trip to Ajax shopping just so we could go to Milo's. Gyro dinner with roasted potatoes and rice, authentic tzatziki, yum! Friendly server, fast service, good food, lots of parking.

This might be the final nail on the coffin. It’s vaxpass related. We’re all vaxxed. We’ve got the passports in our iPhones. The hostess took a minute each for both my wife and I. no less than three times she reinspected my license and the passport and then on the fourth inspection we left. Check the id’s but stop being ridiculous. The quality is so meh. The food isn’t good enough for that kind of hassle. We go because it’s close and we like the people. But getting interrogated vs a convenient check was kind of the final straw for Milos charity. We ended up driving into the Danforth.

We came here on a weeknight around 6:00pm with our toddler. The restaurant was mostly empty. We ordered: 1. Combo dinner which comes with a skewer of beef, chicken and lamb pieces with some onions and peppers. Comes with rice, potatoes and salad. 2. Lamb chops dinner which comes with 4 lamb chops (we got medium), rice, potatoes and salad. 3. Kids meal hamburger which comes with fries and a juice. Cons: -the TASTE of the food we would give a 3/5 as it lacked seasoning/salt for all items ordered. the chicken was a step up from that fake type of chicken you get at Subway. The beef pieces were tough. -the salad dressing also lacked seasoning and was super tart -the restaurant is very warm! the air conditioning needs to be cooler to be more comfortable -the decor is dated and it just had a sad vibe to it Pros: -our server was very attentive and checked in on us often -Proportions and presentation of food were excellent. They start you off with some of that sesame bread, your salads and then bring you your mains. -The meat was bbq'd very nicely -the rice and potatoes had enough sauce on them (that sauce they put from the potatoes) -the kids meal was a full sized adult hamburger and it was cooked well -they give you the kids juice in a sealed cup with a straw to avoid spills We would not come back here due to the lack of seasoning and taste in our dishes only. The service and presentation were great!
