I wanted to share my recent experience at "The Big M" on Liverpool Road. I've heard so much about it and pass by daily, always telling myself I needed to try it out. I finally did, and it definitely didn't disappoint! The service was incredible, and the food was amazing. It's a local restaurant with vintage flair, and being the original drive-in since 1965, they are clearly doing something right. Their menu offers plenty of choices for any craving you might have, with an abundance of toppings for your burgers. And let's not forget the onion rings—they were honestly the best I've ever had! I highly recommend taking a drive to The Big M, grabbing a spot on their outdoor patio, and enjoying it this summer.

They have the best burgers,onion rings and fries around. Food is always hot and well made and the staff are very friendly. We’ve been coming here to eat since the 1970s and they have always been great. Best food for Durham region

Best burger i have had in a while hands down. Pountine was good but i waited to long to eat the onion rings and they got a little hard. Regret not getting a shake but had to get in and fet out.

Rode bikes here today. Very hot day. Ordered a Big M burger and fries with a side of gravy. Burger was a bit dry, so was my wife’s. Fries were delicious and gravy too. Maybe an off day on the burgers

We had a friend recommend and we are so happy to have stopped in. We picked up 2 cheeseburger combos (portions are so big) The atmosphere is so nostalgic and the staff so welcoming and kind. The food is so good old school burgers flame grilled . The conversation between my partner and the staff went so well he actually ordered their famous steak on a Kaiser on top of his cheeseburger combo. Highly recommend to stop in to this place.

Been going here since I was a kid, the true blueprint for a family owned restaurant, always delicious and well priced for the quality you’re getting. New ownership is amazing! We really enjoyed our food yesterday and chatting with the staff Always highly recommended to grab a burger and some onion rings here!

One of the last standing great burger destinations. I ordered their huge 7.5 oz banquet homeburger with bacon and cheese. It was exactly what I was craving. I made it a combo with a side of onion rings. I can't deny how generous the portions are and how good the food is. With esthetically pleasing decor and outdoor seating for the summer BigM will become your new burger destination. I love it here I'll be back soon.
